Thanks.I went there multiple times in the past months. The Mexican border guards never asked me why I went to TJ. They did take away my 6-month visa last time a couple of weeks ago, after I used it to enter TJ for more than a year. So had to get in line to get a day pass. It is free and no questions asked. They do check temperature each time though. So don't go if you have a high temperature.
The 6-month visa is about $30. Then you can go through the Mexican lane without stopping for 6 month. I heard that you will also need it if you plan to go to other Mexico citys from TJ. That is what I plan to get next time so I don't need to wait in the foreigner's lane for another 6 months (or longer if they don't take it away after 6 months hahaha).

Each time I parked at the trolley spot on Beyer, trolley to San Ysidro, walk through the left side using the visa and boom I'm in TJ. Do they try to charge you even with a passport? Did they make you buy a "Visa"? If you've been going multiple times / consistently, do they charge you every time to get through, or only once?

If you fly in or stay longer than seven days you are supposed to pay $30 for a 180-day FMM.
However, many guys are reporting that the Mexican officials are making tourists buy a 180-day FMM and pay the $30, rather than letting them fill out a 7-day free card. Not every guy has had this happen and so it is inconsistently required -- no idea if it is only at certain times or with certain agents. Maybe they are lying and pocketing the $30? I've even seen reports of agents taking away someone's valid FMM and trying to make them buy a new one (he refused and was turned away).

The regular car lanes are always long, 3 to 4 hours normally. It's a bad idea to drive a cross unless you have a SENTRI car.
Crossing on foot late at night has been quick, no delay, 5-10 minutes.

I am doing this trip on a shoe string and this will help me budget.You will be allowed back in to the US, but without a passport they MAY decide to screw with you and send you to secondary screening to "verify your citizenship". They've been known to keep people for hours. If you are polite and don't look shifty they probably won't do that, but I wouldn't cut the time too close on my plane just in case.
If you pay SGs in dollars you will pay twice as much. Street girls are the one thing in the zona you really should pay for with pesos. A street girl who wants 500 pesos ($25) will probably ask $50 US. The $20 girls are still there, but that's for sex only, clothes on, one position, no oral (and you can get that for 200 pesos). I don't kow if the hotel prices have gone up much, but if so it's a dollar or two.

Mask is sometimes enforced in Cascadas lobby I'd wear it if I were you, everywhere else in the hotel doesn't really matter. Entering HK have a mask on and present I'd to the bouncer he will have you temperature check with your wrist and then once in the door mask off for rest of the night. Also temp checks in Cascadas lobby sometimes as well on your wrist. Overall not much COVID 19 restrictions also after party essentially no restrictions. Got to love it.

Plenty of taxis available to easily go to and from the border. Crossed on foot at about 1 PM and it took roughly 40 minutes to get back to the US. Line was very long, but it moved fairly quickly.
I use the VIP card for the Monday / Tuesday discounted rooms at Cascades and plan to return in a week or two. Praying for that 2 k stimulus check! LOL.

Just to clarify, although people refer to it as a visa it technically is not. They are referring to a FMM (Forma Migratoria Múltiple), which is really a tourist card. The FMM costs $30 and is good for 180 days.
Legally, an FMM is required of all tourists visiting Mexico, but this requirement was often waived at border crossings if you were staying less than 7 days. Apparently it is now only being waived with a valid reason for visiting Mexico. If you fly in, it is usually part of your ticket cost. If you have an FMM already, you can use the Mexican national line when walking across the border, which is usually much faster. You can fill out the application for an FMM in advance online (https://www.inm.gob.mx/fmme/publico/en/solicitud.html).

Saturday.
Arrived in San Diego around noon and headed to the border. Changed some cash to pesos and readied my printout of the FMM and my photocopied passport (my actual passport was in process of being renewed). I was prepared to pay the $30 that many "non-essential visitors" have had to pay to receive the 180-day FMM.
I wasn't prepared for the border agent to tear up the FMM and tell me that I couldn't enter Mexico at all without a passport. He brought me into a room and asked the purpose of my visit, where I worked, how long I was planning to stay, where I was planning to stay. Then he asked me the same questions again. And again. Finally he said "Since you are a professional traveling for legitimate reasons, I will let you in. There is no fee to enter Mexico, but you must give me a tip. " I asked how much was expected and he just spread his hands and shrugged. I handed him 400 pesos ($20), which he put in a drawer. He said "Welcome to Mexico" and sent me on my way.
I walked over to Pueblo Amigo and checked in around 3:00. I had a Seeking date arranged for 6:00 and she showed up right on time. Came straight to my room. I asked if she was interested in going out to dinner or to a club or something but she said no, she had plans with friends (remember this was Saturday night). So we got right down to business -- it was basically like ordering an escort. It has the advantage of not being a fixed price per hour, but there's some overhead as far as planning and arranging. You can get a wallet size I'd card that looks like a driver's license and you will be able to get into the Ready Lanes. But honestly so many people have them now a lot of times it's not much better. The 3rd option is Sentry. It's the fastest but you have be interviewed and pay something like $100 a year, it might be more now. Unless you go to Tj often I'm not sure its worth it. And you can't have anyone else in your vehicle that doesn't have Sentry. Walking across used to be faster but with covid I've waited in line for hours too.

Global Entry is superior to SENTRI if you are an American citizen. There are more processing centers and it works for all international travel (SENTRI is just for Mexico, NEXUS is just for Canada). Both allow you to have a vehicle.
With Global Entry I skip all lines and just walk right to the front. You don't even need to show your passport to get in to the US. The GE card is enough. There is no annual fee and the price is essentially the same. There is no reason to get SENTRI if you are a US citizen.

You didn't screw up any prices. that's the standard ask in HK now. If you try you can get girls to agree to lower, but in HK they are all starting at $100 now. Some guys will tell you never to pay that and if you look around and talk to different girls you'll find some who will accept $80 (or even less, depending on the girl and the day). But I don't worry about that kind of thing. If you buy her a drink that's $10, so if you talk to five different girls looking for that cheaper date, you'll end up spending more anyway. If you go to the lower tier bars you'll find girls who will go for a lot less, but of course you will need to get a room in their hotel.

You're a US citizen, you can't be denied reentry.

I tend to stick to places I know and HK / Cascadas is definitely a place I know well. Last night around 10 pm I got this strong, almost obsessive craving for some young Mexican girls, so I drove down to Cascadas just chancing they'd have a room. You don't need a legit reason to enter Mexico, but there is a possibility they will require you to pay $30 for a permit. Some people call it a visa (it technically is not), but the formal name is FMM (Forma Migracion Multiple). The FMM is supposed to be free for 7 days, but the 180-day permit is $30. Many people have reported being forced to buy the 180-day FMM even for a short trip. If you have a valid reason to enter, they may not make you buy it. Dentist appointment is a common excuse guys are using, but that doesn't always work. There are also reports of guys being denied entry to Mexico entirely, but being allowed through for a bribe of $20. This is cheaper, but without an FMM you'd have to pay again if you went back.
That's for getting into Mexico. For returning to the US, if you have Global Entry that makes it easy. They probably won't ask what you were doing, but it doesn't matter. you are a US citizen returning home. The DE card should get you in with no problem.

HK is currently closed but should re-open within a week or so according to them.I've seen all the clubs announcing that they will reopen after March 8th, but according to the government's declaration nightclubs should still be closed ("Antros: cerrados" It will be interesting to see if HK and the other clubs do actually re-open or if that was a bluff. They may expect guys to show up and then just go to the speakeasies. If they do re-open, I'm curious if they will be allowed to remain open or if they will be shut down again.
I've never been to HK alone, usually with my lady and we just go to watch, never gone to a room. I would love to go there alone sometime but also feel un-safe in TJ strip clubs alone. The process takes forever, they have far fewer locations where you can go for your interview, and getting an interview is much harder. Global Entry has all of the benefits of SENTRI, plus it works for travel to any country (SENTRI is only for Mexico; NEXUS is only for Canada). The Global Entry application process only takes a few weeks, and you can get your interview easily at hundreds of different locations. SENTRI is only worthwhile for non-US citizens from certain other countries.

Finally made my way down yesterday to HK for their re-opening. Arrived at 1:30 pm and it was comfortable with more ladies than guys. Easy to get a table and chill while enjoying a beer and entertainment. The meseros were a bit eager to get your drink order. I had at least 4 meseros hit me up after I ordered a drink. I know they are doing their job but it's annoying. Anyway, beautiful ladies and the vibe was great. So glad they opened the club as the 7th floor option just want my thing. HK staff did add some fans near the rear stairs for better air circulation and closed off every other bar stool to maintain distance. I'd say about half of the people were wearing masks. Overall had a good time with three ladies, plus a nice lunch at Azuls. The only drawback was the pedestrian line at 7:30 pm was long. Took about 45 minutes to cross. I need to get a sentri card!!

The bars, clubs, and hotels accept dollars and it's usually a better rate than pesos. But street girls think in pesos and you get a much better deal. It gets confusing because the symbol for peso is also " (we stole it from Mexico).
That 500 peso fuck cost him about $25. If he had paid dollars it would probably have been $50.

A friend of mine got his Global Entry interview 10 days after applying, in his own home town. There are 86 GE interview locations. SENTRI interviews are only held in 4 states. I was at HK last night and stayed at Cascadas. The club (HK) it's self stayed open until 5 am which was great. Then at 5 am they moved everyone up to the 10th floor where the party got even better. So yes, a drivers license is enough. However, they can take a lot longer to verify you if you don't have a passport. They may decide to teach you a lesson by sending you to secondary screening, which can take a while. Plan extra time to cross if you are headed directly to the airport.

They have so many different levels of rooms, it's a real pain to try to make a reservation. It is a great place if discretion is important to you. Girls can come directly to your room without having to check in at the front desk. Location is pretty good -- close to Revo and Zona Rio, and not too far from Zona Norte.This place has been around for awhile and has a good reputation. If you are an American citizen, they have to let you back into the country. So yes, a drivers license is enough. However, they can take a lot longer to verify you if you don't have a passport. They may decide to teach you a lesson by sending you to secondary screening, which can take a while. Plan extra time to cross if you are headed directly to the airport.I have the newer Real I'd drivers license which requires the same documentation that is needed to get a passport so hopefully that makes it easier. Note there is no difference between weekday and weekend (except holidays). Weekends are the only time the prices are reasonable.

There are supposed to be no restrictions, but there are also reports of the border agents requiring the $30 180-day FMM. I suggest you download a copy of the free 7-day FMM (https://www.inm.gob.mx/fmme/publico/en/solicitud.html) and have it with you when you arrive so they have less of an excuse to shake you down.

There is no such thing as "NORMAL" one day you go and you walk right in no questions asked and the next day they are trying to make you buy a 180 day FMM when you are just going for the day.
Like you said be prepared and get your FMM online BUT only get if from the official Mexican Gov website. I have seen people say that they paid $99 online to get their FMM that only cost $30 if you do it right.
The other thing is get the FREE one no need to buy the $30 180 day FMM if you are not going long term.

Yes, there are tons of scummy "visa" web sites that charge $99 for filling out a simple online form and emailing you the PDF. Don't fall for it. If you Google "Mexican visa" you'll certainly get a list of crap travel agencies trying to scam you.

With the nice hot weather, decided to take the day off and head over to HK for some fun. No problems walking across at 2 pm and took a quick cab ride. Once inside the ratio was easily 2 girls:1 guy. For being the day shift they still had done 8's walking around. Getting a table to enjoy my drink and soak in the sights was easy. Maseros were hungry as usual, so they were a pain the ass at times. I don't know the legality of pocket knives in Mexico, but if the TJ cops find one on you they will literally make it a Federal case.

Just remember that street girls don't get you an all inclusive price. They often are cheap for pants off sex, but if you want all their clothes off, or anything other than a hole to stick your PP in, then it'll cost. If you pay for everything, I think it'll probably be only marginally cheaper than an HK girl. HK girls are probably also, on average, a little hotter. I'll let the experts chime in though.

Looks like a lot of the girls take their breaks or just time to get away, next door in the Las Chavelas. I notice all the girls wearing wrist bands allow them to come into Hong Kong. Also about a dozen girls just chilling in Las Chavelas and when it got to around 5 pm, they all lined up to get their wrist bands to come into HK. Not sure what's happening. Maybe there's a rotation of girls working. Place was packed!
I am a very observant guy and like to read the body language of girls before I make the approach. It's been my technique and it seems to work. Today it reminded me how patients can be very rewarding. I spotted one girl who was petite and attractive. I know some guys got to have the ass and boobs. I can go either way. I noticed her walking around and actually making conversation with guys. Unlike many girls who just stand around.
This is usually a good sign and can work in your favor. Didn't look like to many guys were taking her bait and she ended up multiple times just sitting down, with no luck. The usually it seems. I told her I wanted to take some pictures. She said that's fine, but you need to tip extra. I rolled by eyes and then told her not sure of this is going to work. As I slowly walked away smiling at her, she grabbed my arm and said "I need money". At that moment I knew I hit gold!
I replied, I also need to COF and CIM. She laughed and glared into my eyes and responded, sure but with tip. I told her the offer wasn't going to work and that I would give her $80 and that included, pictures and a facial that I have been so desperately been waiting for. She laughed and said yes!
Let's just say it was more than I could have asked for in my first trip back! Perfect slim body and impeccable noises. Eye contact while she did her best DT, gagging the whole way. One of the below pics is her preparing for the facial! I just want to thank all the guys that blew her off, because if it wasn't for her, I never would have gotten what I did!
