If you cross back on foot between the 11 pm to 3 am time frame, the wait times shouldn't be too bad.
Also, one of my best visits to Hong Kong, where I met this hottie from Mazatlan, was paired with my worst waiting experience, due to their closing of the Otay Mesa border that evening. Damn, that woman was beautiful.

-Over-stimulating sensory environment. Two massive screens that display visualizations while the DJ plays music.
Pretty good for what it is, but in a world where I don't have unlimited funds, I don't think I will be back.

The Strip Club really isn't my scene, because it is too expensive for my budge just to be teased, but I'm glad they are opening up for several reasons.
They are very good for married guys not wanting to cross any cheating line to get to see some fine eye candy, or for bachelor parties where everyone is stimulated but nothing really naughty happens.
I also like them for business "meetings" when the tab is covered by an expense account.
LE might keep a closer eye on them, especially as they open up, and not be so concerned about the AMPs and their extra services. The more that is going on in the trade, the more LE will have to pick and choose where to spend the resource. I don't know if this is true, but I hear of more strip club crackdowns than I do AMP raids.
That said, while they are re-opening, putting up more cameras, have security manage every dance, I seriously only expect to pay a lot to be teased and hope in time the restrictions lighten up, so we see more posts of guys getting specials.

Ya you bypass the whole line. If by car the Sentri is 20 min tops from what I am hearing. It varies, but so far has never been bad. Really other then dedicating 30 minutes of so of typing on the INET and then showing up once and only once for the short in person interview, you would then be set with a border pass for 5 years.
Was only 125 bucks or so when I got mine a few years ago. Not saying Tj is the end all, but is certainly not the US bullshit.
And as the vets will tell you, don't get hung up on a "Hong Kong only" mentality. HK is a tourist trap big time and probably the most like the US in full of themselves cunts and managment looking merely to fleece you. Tons more places and avenues down there. Look on the sister site. And other sites.

Sentri is designed for driving across border with Mexico and Canada.
Global is for that and air travel to and from outside USA.
Sentri costs more, but Global will do what Sentri does for less, and has benefits when flying internationally. You just register your vehicle with Global when you apply. Both good for 5 years. $123 Vs. $100.
Not an instant process for either. Have to log in, set up account with Govt. Then Apply. Have Drivers license, passport, vehicle vin and license plate, and Credit card handy to complete application form. Pay when you submit.
Then wait to be notified. There will be an in person interview, which can be done at SD airport. Site say it will take 4 - 6 months.

Had an interesting run in as I got talked into going into VIP with a girl I already wasn't crazy about. The stripper knew me and a couple of the guys I was with were from out of town. After I pay for the VIP, the girl wanted another 300 on top because the next song started. I'm approaching the 30th anniversary of my first adult-themed TJ trip. I don't think I've set foot in a strip club here since. I'm here for business at least once a quarter, and I've made other trips out with my SO / GF just for the TJ nightlife. There are great American-brand hotels which are clean and cheap and safe. You would honestly be foolish to stay in San Diego.

What they will do with your driver's license is look up your citizenship, which is an extra step. It means they have to question you to verify you are who you are. If your driver's license name does NOT match your citizenship name (which is the case for a LOT of people), then they are going to sigh and have to ask you even more questions. You are being treated the same as someone who lost their passport where they use the birthdate on your driver's license to match it to your citizenship etc.
If you have a valid passport, it usually takes seconds. They don't ask questions unless they feel like it, because as long as it's obvious you are who you are and you are a citizen, you have the right to enter.

In a case like this, I have been told by immigration that an expired passport is still 100% more useful than a driver's license. They can use your expired passport to look you up in their computer and see that you are a US citizen (once they confirm this, you have the legal right to enter). With a driver's license, they are playing games of comparing your license record (photo, date of birth, name, etc.) and making a guess if you are or are not this other person they have on their computer. They took us into a room for 30 minutes to do that (it was not my passport but someone I was responsible for). If I had the expired passport, it would have been a minute, tops.

Some Friday and Saturday nights both stages open, the backstage is a bit more intimate. Much smaller but a different experience if you want to toss 1's at a girl up close.

I used to be a regular contributor to that thread until I switched back to kgirls and jgirls. The nice thing about COI clubs is there are a lot of young girls, including many young white girls. If you want a classy upscale club, go Spearmint Rhino. If you want lots of girls to choose from and just want to get straight to it, Synn. Thursday is the busiest day because of VIP deals and gives you a good idea of what's possible, though you will have to park far from Synn and walk there due to everyone else doing the same. Why there is no Latina like Vanessa not available in SD scenes?SD is one of the few cities in the world where a stripper has to pay $500 for a license. Most cities do not, even LV it's like $100. It also has pretty strict strip club rules specific to just this city. One reason Little Darlings existed just outside the city limits. Some clubs are better than others, but you are going to get a lot less offers for full extras. I've gotten them but it's just not the norm.
You will find more latinas in certain clubs, but again the licensing issue is a big barrier. If a SD latina wants to ho, she goes up to OC or LA.
If you want full service, some korgs offer Latinas. But Humaniplex is probably the best resource.

I'm making this post because after 20 years of going to strip clubs hundreds of times, I'm satisfied. I only see kgirls at korgs now. See my guides in the SD 'Asian Providers' and OC 'Korean BB' forums for intel on that. Strip clubs are fun for looking at nude women, chatting with them, and getting dances with them. I will summarize general things about SD strip clubs for those who are going. In general, if you are looking for high mileage you need to go the next county over at least. At least OC, if not to City of Industry where you can get fs. Just to be clear, let me summarize the cities:
Cities
San Diego - Extremely strict licensing for dancers with mostly clean strip clubs. Clubs are the lowest mileage in all of Socal, so either you find beautiful women for straight dances with grind or watch the stage shows for cheap. Some dancers are quite young and beautiful but there are all types.
Orange County - A lot more mileage in strip clubs, including Vietnamese coffee shops. Yes, that's right. Some beautiful women, but not as many as SD.
City of Industry - Highest mileage. No point in saying any more for common sense, if you want that go to that thread. I am not going to persuade or drag someone over to a fun time, why don't you do that work instead of me. Just letting people know where to go if that's what they want, so they can stop going to SD clubs asking for it. I've done it for years and wrote guides in the past.
Now let me summarize the clubs, keeping in mind my main intel is on Cheetah's and only night shift, I will not bother describing dayshift. Note that Cheetah's, Candy Shop, and Expose are all very close to each other, making it easy for you to hop clubs. Very convenient and the three are very different vibes.
Clubs
Cheetah's - The best goto club to recommend to anyone in SD, by far. A place you can take your best friend, cousin, girlfriend, even recommend to your sister to go with her friends. Literally family friendly for those 18+. The girls there are by far the most beautiful and friendly. They do not serve alcohol. $20 to enter first time but you will get a VIP card you can use on future visits. Comes with 2 drinks so save your receipt. Make sure to get 1s for example by giving 40 or 50 and asking it back in 1s. Stages are 2 songs and it is customary for girls to collect $1 after stage from each guy seated, that is super cheap btw. Songs are about 2 mins 15 seconds but that varies. Most girls will take you for 'VIP dance' which is just a normal dance for 5 songs, $100 total. There is an 'ice box' which is what every other club on the planet calls VIP and is $400 for 30 mins, would not recommend unless you literally want to show off.
If you find yourself in the ice box it means a girl has hypnotized you, so snap out of it. Go bang a beautiful kgirl for 320 - 60 minutes including a shower with her before and after the private play. The young and good looking ones we label HYAs in reviews. Ahem, so these are bikini dances (not nude) and it varies by the girl but you can touch with common sense just avoid her privates. Friday and Saturday's can be packed especially 10pm, the back 2nd stage might open up. Other days are slower and chill, you will get more girls talking to you and saying hi.
Candy Shop - This is a club that actually serves alcohol. It used to be Paradise but got rebranded. You can just hang around and talk to girls, girls will do stage shows. If you talk with girls, you buy them drinks, it is chill and fun if you're into that. Or you can take them back for dances like normal. I am not a drinker so this isn't my thing, but I think for other people who are it's a way to have fun.
Expose - This club is really unique, on Fridays and Saturdays they host guest star performers, often either porn stars or famous strippers. They offer hookah, slushies, cigars, snacks, all kinds of other stuff. They will hire almost any dancer, it is really anything goes. For example, one dancer will dance with a dildo up her butt. Just saying, that's the vibe, anything goes. I think one great thing is the girls give solid $20 individual dances. It is actually a great place to get dances except that only a few girls are my type, whereas at Cheetah's a lot more are. But Cheetah's girls don't do $20 dances generally. Goldfingers - This club is really different and has a higher entry fee. Although I would not actually recommend it, they have had a few special dancers who will do good dances. Like Katana. I've written about Expose in detail, it is a unique club. It is not my thing but I had fun and it was better than I expected. The girls still give solid $20 dances. So like I say, this club is unique. It's not my thing but may interest others. I will say even though I didn't expect anything out of the guest performances (I was just there for lap dances), the girls did a good job. It was much better than I expected, I'm glad I saw it. It's not required but the etiquette, it's pretty much nothing. Not every girl makes it all the way around and if you are a back stage they don't ask. So $10/ hour max, $0/ hour if you sit further. On a Friday or Saturday night the club can fit 80 people in the front area so that's almost 80 plus what they make at stage. A good girl can consistently get another 80 on stage (note a few girls give their friend 40 1's to toss at them for fun or to encourage guys to toss but that's just for show). Sometimes a girl gets just a few 1's, especially on slow nights. No pressure, only guys at the rail are supposed to throw 1's and like I say on a Friday or Saturday night no one will notice. That's good to know about the recent change to no membership required. Pretty low break-even point with a $10 membership and $10 admission versus no card and a $15 admission. But then the card is less discreet.

Like others say, it's not expensive to get in. You can check out good looking girls all you want. Quite liberating compared to civilian girls you can only glance at. It's just my experience, but most girls give your their number or IG to ask you to come in to see them at the clubs. I'm sure a few will meet OTC too, it's not for me so I can't help there. But I do like IG because maybe they have some pictures I can save to remember them by, or in practical terms I can DM them asking them which day they're in and meet them. Only do this for your tip top favorite girls, it's a waste of mental and emotional energy for backup girls because you'll always be able to find another girl by walking in. The other advantage of IG is worst case you can block or delete and move on without being asked if you can come in to see a girl you already moved on about.

She's a pro and definitely good at what she does. You can't ever tell who is good by looks, but at a bare minimum you should vibe well with her on the floor and see that she is giving you the right attitude at least.
