I stopped in 65 Odana today both ladies seemed over 50+. I went with the younger looking of the two anyway for a quick half hour. She got the job done but I'm not repeating. I've never called for a reservation, and it's hit or miss if you do. Many don't answer the phone anyway. Typically I walk in and am greeted right away; I'm either escorted to a room, or if they're really busy, they might tell me to come back in X minutes.

I always ask them, "busy today?" If they're busy, it can be a problem. Even if you do make an appointment, and they don't know you they can be greedy and take in another monger even if you have an appointment.
If you tell them you'll be there in a half an hour that's not going to stop them from taking an hour appointment right after you call. Because they get a lot of blow offs too. Because a bird in the hand is worth two in the Bush literally, the guy who walks in has some priority. I've been on both ends. I've been taken in, laying on the table and listening to the guy who just walked in and said he had an appointment and hears "sorry, wait 30 minutes" and just storms out. I've also been the guy who walks in and gets turned away even though I had the appointment. Or go sit in the empty massage room for 45 minutes. But, sometimes, the girl is worth it.
Since making an appointment doesn't always stop the next guy from walking in and stealing your appointment. It helps to give them a name. Fake name is good. I had my appointment stolen. Because the first thing they say to a guy when he walks "Massage? You call?" Most guys will say yes even if they didn't call and there goes your appointment. This is why it's important to have a rapport with a certain girl or mamasan.
They don't blow you off on purpose and sometimes they just don't know any better because their language skills are so poor. In this day and age (especially in the Kenosha area) of one girl spas, appointments are a good idea if you like a certain girl. If you can get their name out of them on the phone and tell them who you want, give them your name. I find it helps.
And lo and behold I've been lucky many times just showing up. Looking for cars in the parking lot is not always reliable since some others will park around the corner, behind the building or wherever so nobody can spot their car. Good luck! Happy mongering!

It's relatively uncommon in Madison as most of the experience is, as someone else put it, a kind of bottom feeding.

So I got the chance to visit this morning. I wholeheartedly concur about the recent reports there (especially with Sasa who's a real spinner). If you are willing to drive a few hours to Algonquin Il, apparently Yuri is back at World spa. I highly highly recommend seeing her as the time I saw her was one of my best experiences at a spa ever. Tried the new place off of River Place. Only been open for two weeks. Nice inside. Wider table than most which I like. Had Amy, older, tall, and very skinny. Ok massage.
