CC, if they already have your info because you answered one of their CL-CE posts, and you enter an alias or email addy into the search function, the site operator can capture that info, easily, and add it to his data or, start a brand new "predator" entry based on your search criteria. I considered this myself and entered only a portion of my email and got all the similarly spelled results, including mine. I don't think this is a big deal but NH makes a good point. My position is to ignore the site and their $99 blackmail offer to remove my photo and addy. They have nothing to substantiate anything and they could put just about anybody's picture and email address up there. They notified me at the email addy I used to response to a CL-CE posting, an email addy I use only for that purpose. It was in my junk mail folder.

Well, since I have never had any type of cold sore and have known my sig other for quite some time... if I came home with that it would only arouse suspicion. I know that it is likely that I have the hsv-1 virus and just have never had symptoms. However, there is a chance that I do not have it and to have my first outbreak at this point would most likely mean I'm up to something. From what I understand, it is most commonly transmitted thru saliva. You say it doesn't normally happen that way (kissing), but I disagree.

Also, HSV-2 can be transmitted to the mouth and each year there are more cases of this happening. Not looking to get into an argument, I know some have hooked up with girls from the CL CE section, But most of the ads are spam, My question is what is the purpose or benefit to the people or scammers posting all the ads? Ok so they get your email address, what's that worth to them ? I just don't get it.

But I agree that there is way too much spam. I'll usually change the email I use for responding to CL every few weeks.

I'm not quick to put forth my cell # by calling as many request. I prefer independent and am hoping to use this site to filter.

I do have a thing set up Friday for a meet and greet with a potential sugar baby type. She real but we'll see if she flakes out on me. Doesn't seem to be a UTR, but you never know. I've been more into the streetwalker end of things lately. Used to use the higher end services, but they have priced me out, basically. I found just as good of service with SW either as a pickup, or working the phone. I'll keep trying CLCE. You never know. I'll report back if my meet and greet happens or not.
