After my bad experience in Batavia on Friday, I hopped on Rt. 31 and headed south. I knew that I needed to get to a real AMP quick and release all the venom I had built up. In November I was at Best Massage in St. Charles. When the girl came into the room I noticed that her clothes seemed a bit odd, she had on some acid washed 80's jeans and a men's t-shirt. I thought to myself, who is picking out these outfits? After my session with Sweaty Betty, I was sitting in my vehicle and cleaning my hands to try and get all of her sweat off of me, and when I looked up I saw the Goodwill sign. I just started laughing and it became very clear what was going on. In the morning before Best Massage opens I think that the girls are going over to Goodwill and having a field day buying clothes. Because of the fact that St. Charles is a wealthy town, I am sure that this Goodwill store probably gets some decent clothes and these girls are having a blast buying all of these clothes for very little money. On Wednesday night when the girl at Best Massage came into the lobby she had on like a 70's nurses uniform, but it had some black trim and she was wearing a bowtie with it. It took a lot of restraint for me to not just burst out laughing. So, if you are interested in picking up one of the girls from Best Massage you just need to start hanging out at Goodwill early in the morning. Now that is one hell of a business model, you have an AMP with a reputation for bad service (no menu) and you decide to take a 3 week vacation. A very good friend of mine called me tonight and gave me some info about the place at 1550 e. Main st. My friend paid the spa a visit and said he was greeted in the lobby by everyones favorite MT with the raspy voice, she is back from California. My friend wanted a session with her but she told him she didn't have time because she had an appointment coming in. Then the raspy girl told my friend that if he waited 5 minutes he could get a session with a new girl that just started. My friend ended up having a session with the new girl and he said that she was really good looking and very friendly. During the session my friend found out that she is only at this place on Thursday, Friday and some Saturday's because she spends the rest of her time at another spa. I will make an effort to go over there on Thursday and see if I can get a visit with her. Even if I can't get a visit with her it would still be nice to have a session with raspy voice. SaintChuck.

After I swore off this place because of bad service and tipping issues, I made a few visits. I would say average looks, good attitude, not a bad massage, poor to ok English with my most recent visit being the best.
Still has the most comfortable massage tables in the area. Am I doing cart wheels about it? Not quite yet but I am very picky about customer service.

After a few minutes the older lady came back and started her rub. During the first few minutes she kept yawning so I offered to give her a massage. This didn't go so well because she was so tired she didn't want me to stop. She also had really dry skin so I had to spend like 15 minutes putting lotion on her and rubbing it into her dry skin. The very little part of the session that was for me, sucked. She was a total clock watcher and her hand technique could be best described as painful. I probably won't be able to go to an AMP for a week now because I am raw from her savage treatment of my little guy. My only 2 cents is perhaps call ahead for an appointment. It's not new advice, of course, but I've always tried to get to know the owners and managers at places I go. Then I call at least a half hour ahead for an appointment and make sure who I will be getting. A well-run place wants to make sure they keep their regulars happy. They sometimes offer "unadvertised" specials. They make accommodations, sometimes including off hours appointments. Bring fruit or chocolate. Anything to make you popular among the workers. If she has dry skin use baby oil. Much slipperier. OR try a body-to-body massage. I promise you won't need her hand in that case. But really, it sounds like you had the wrong MT. So call ahead. It really amazes me also. What makes a Chinese woman decide to come to America, without knowing any English. I always ask them about their homes and lives in China. Why did they come, etc. Many are divorced. It is possible to connect with someone without using any words. I met a woman five years ago at Yu's Foot Spa. Here six months when I met her. Divorced. But somehow we formed a connection. I came to the shop weekly. She would do this thing where she pulled my arm. So I'd pull back. She'd giggle. So it became a weekly joke. She'd do this thing on my shoulder three times. So I learned to count to three in Chinese while she did it. Then I would add numbers, and she would help me learn to count to ten. So she did the shoulder squeeze thing ten times while counting. And then she would high-five me. Our friendship progressed. I was learning Chinese from her and she was learning English from me. We'd go places on her day off. I taught her to drive my car. A year ago she moved to LA to be with her son. She speaks English and drives a car. We stay in touch. I have a standing invitation to visit her in California. I'm awed by the courage it takes to come the the USA with nothing. And somehow find the American dream. I have been a few times over the past couple months and I feel in general they have a good line up.I agree what you are saying about making appointments, but the 2 times I have tried to make appointments at 2 different AMP's, the language barrier was just too much to overcome. The women on the phone would just keep repeating the same phrases "See you soon honey" or "You come now honey. " I also agree that it is probably not a good idea to show up at the end of their 12 hour shift and expect great service. I have found that the best service is very early in the day. I guess it is true, early bird get's the worm. The problem is that between work and other obligations I can't alway's show up at an AMP at 10 AM on a Monday, even though this would be the ideal time. I have also had nights that I showed up at an AMP later then I would like because of the fact that I went to 3 other AMP's and was told that it would be a 1 hour wait. So by the time I finally get to an AMP that has a girl available it is 8 or 8:30. As I reported 2 week's ago, I had to go to 3 different AMP's before I could finally get a session at a place that had a girl available, and this was on a Wednesday night. So I ended up at an AMP that I didn't want to be at and had a lousy time to top things off. I guess the only solution is just to tell my boss that I just can't work Monday's anymore. SaintChuck.

I agree what you are saying about making appointments, but the 2 times I have tried to make appointments at 2 different AMP's, the language barrier was just too much to overcome. The women on the phone would just keep repeating the same phrases "See you soon honey" or "You come now honey. " I also agree that it is probably not a good idea to show up at the end of their 12 hour shift and expect great service. I have found that the best service is very early in the day. I guess it is true, early bird get's the worm. The problem is that between work and other obligations I can't alway's show up at an AMP at 10 AM on a Monday, even though this would be the ideal time. I have also had nights that I showed up at an AMP later then I would like because of the fact that I went to 3 other AMP's and was told that it would be a 1 hour wait. So by the time I finally get to an AMP that has a girl available it is 8 or 8:30. As I reported 2 week's ago, I had to go to 3 different AMP's before I could finally get a session at a place that had a girl available, and this was on a Wednesday night. So I ended up at an AMP that I didn't want to be at and had a lousy time to top things off. I guess the only solution is just to tell my boss that I just can't work Monday's anymore. SaintChuck.

And if you like a very good massage, by a cute young and very pleasant AMP, you will like her too. Did not once ask for a tip. English is very bad. If I'm setting up an appointment, I usually text. The AMP's pretty much all operate off modern phones, so they can take a normal text, run it through an online translation program, and no language barrier. Doesn't stop them from cancelling if a customer decides to opt for a longer session, but it does spare you the frustration of having to try to explain what you're wanting without the required language skills on either end of the conversation.

It's sometimes worse than you can imagine. Not only do some girls literally live in the spa (and pay rent for the privilege), the shower, cooking, and other conditions are often limited. They must keep the lights off so the spa appears empty. Imagine being alone in an environment like that. Afraid of the dark and spending every night alone in the dark. I bought two friends flashlights and night lights. How's that for romantic? I bought (cheap $60) hotel rooms weekly for one so she could spend one night a week with lights, tv, hot shower. Taken them to zoos, museums, parks, dinner, just so they would have a little fun. Lucky for me the spa owners appreciate my business and look the other way when I hang around. The "mileage" is unlimited, for what it's worth. But I invest a huge amount of time, and the emotional toll is also huge. So I don't know if I could recommend it. But maybe, if you meet one person that you click with you can make a real change in both of your lives. Bob.

I had not been here in a a few months. I went back and drew a nice lady, on the taller side, a little thick but I found her attractive. Started the massage. The outside door opens, she leaves the room and it was a couple that wanted a couples massage. She tells them 30 minutes, they decided to wait.

This morning I went to Best Massage in St. Charles. I walked in and there were 2 new girls that I have never seen before. As I was paying with my credit card another monger walked in, so I figured that rush hour was about to start. The girl I had was between 30 and 35 and about 5 ft. 3 and weighed about 120 or 130. She was ok looking. During the massage she had to keep leaving to answer the door, which was a major wood kill. On the flip I didn't say anything, she just took care of business. As I was leaving I saw another monger sitting on the couch and when I opened the door to leave I almost hit this old lady with the door. This white lady in her 60's went on in. When I got to my vehicle I saw another monger sitting in his car waiting for his turn. Then I saw the old woman walk out, they must of told her to beat it. This place has been so busy lately that you can forget about making an appointment or trying to beat the rush and showing up early on a Monday morning. If the massage light is on, they are busy. If you are in the area and they have time to see you, it is ok. I wouldn't go out of my way though. There are better options that are very close to this place. SaintChuck.

They knew damn well what was going to be happening at 504 and they let them open anyway. They let them open because they charge $$. 5 for a business license and then they charge another fee for finger printing. Now that they busted 504 they will fine them and that is more cash for the village. It is a basic PR stunt to make all of the soccer mom's think that once again ST. Charles is pure and clean and that all of the evil AMP workers are now gone from the town. On Saturday a friend of mine went to one of the places that got busted, and it is still business as usual with extras on the menu. If the city really cared about the activities inside of an AMP, then they wouldn't sell a business license for an AMP to anyone who walks through the door. Or they would set a limit to the number of licenses that they sell, but they don't because it generates revenue and if the place get's busted that generates more revenue. Its a really interesting phenomenon. I never met the woman. But if she is Chinese it fits into a pattern. People come to this country to escape their old life and make money. The Chinese attitude among 80% of the people (I am told) is "you do whatever it takes" to get by in America.

The ultimate dream (based on all the conversations I have ever had with Chinese women) is to own your own business and thereby get control of your own fate. I mentioned that in my Chicago post last night.

As this new business gets up and running, I'd expect her to play it straight. Why risk everything for a few bucks?

First post here because I was just a lurker but I finally have a reason to post something useful info. I was recently at Gem Spa apparently the night before they got busted. The 22 year old girl was there and I got asked for her that night. Surprisingly, even after doing my research about.

How Gem can be hit or miss, she gave me a legit massage which was very good for a girl her size and proceeded to a HJ with no shirt on all for $85. I then asked her I haven't seen her before and when she would be here next and she went on to tell me that she had just started out.

That's correct. My friends do that also. Wash at night. When they live in the spa, they only take one bag, with the rest of their possessions at a Chinese hotel. Probably only have a few things. If you get to know her well, you can take them shopping. Also you might be able to run a couple errands before work. Its something she will appreciate. I find it hard to believe that this spa will start offering the "Geneva" treatment. The build out is one of a top notch, high end spa. Very expensive rent and first class facilities. To get a license in ILL it takes a background & criminal check, fingerprints, 600 hours of study, thousands of dollars in tuition fees and then a state exam. After they get their license if they go to work in an AMP and it gets busted and they get charged there goes the license. If they have no license and work in an AMP and it gets busted they just move to another city or state and start working again.

Also, I would think that the earnings of a legit licensed massage therapist are nowhere near what an AMP girl can make. Some AMP girls make over 100k a year, some even more plus it's usually tax free. I seriously doubt that the legit licensed therapist working at a health / fitness place makes anywhere near that.

I never went to an AMP for a legit licensed massage, who are we kidding. I went for a nice massage and maybe some extras. Didn't have to be the best massage but if she honestly tried, didn't short me on time and the extras were ok that's all I cared about.

Doesn't bother me that most AMP girls are not licensed. If I was one of them I wouldn't bother either.

Always a manager on duty (one of the BS charges they used to close on of the other spas), masseuses are licensed, and from everything I know and have read, absolutely no 'extras' offered. If they go after Dean St. , I think they're going to either have to fabricate some 'violation', or they're going to find themselves facing some serious legal questions.

I have not been there, so I'll only make it a general statement. I believe it is perfectly possible to get extras with women from legit shops. It takes the right, low pressure (no pressure) approach. In the past two years I've managed FS (offsite) with seven women from legit shops. (and I'm no stud). Three weeks ago I met a woman at a legit shop. We just talked about family and various topics. Just relaxed conversation and no-pressure at all. I said I was only interested in professional massage. Somehow, however, we ended up fucking. She simply went to the front door. Locked it. And asked me to fuck her. Now I also think Mark used the wrong approach to ask the woman's boss if her employee would do extras. What is she supposed to say? Never ask for extras. Who ever owns it dumped a huge amount of money into it. Place is huge, 15 rooms (I asked) with doors, showers, sauna, embroidered robes and 2 piece men's and women's outfits for getting to the sauna and shower. I actually got a picture too. Yelp seems to do a good job on placing BS reviews in that category that says, reviews that Yelp does not recommend, which is a polite way of them saying reviews that they know are BS. If Jane Doe is sitting at her computer reading Yelp reviews because she is looking for massage and she comes across the Yelp reviews for Bob521 Spa and she finds no reviews, only 10 reviews in the not recommended section (fake review section). Most likely Jane Doe would think that it is a shady business or at least a little suspicious that all of the reviews are fake. SaintChuck.

SaintChuck.I paid them one visit to tour the place when they initially opened, and the description provided by "TW" is actually very accurate. There was at least one woman who was identified as a massage therapist who spoke English well enough that I suspect she was born here in the US, so it's not impossible that they now have two who can hold a conversation in English. I also suspect that the claim made that 'extras' were hinted at is bogus. As was said, this place is 'gold standard' on the inside, and that could not have come cheap. Can't imagine the owner risking that much of an investment by turning a blind eye to employees looking to earn a little 'extra' money.

There is a company out of California that advertises on BP and if you own an AMP, they will create those fancy ad's for you. Lotus is long out of business and won't be coming back. I drove right by the front door on Monday and that unit is dark with a FOR RENT sign in the window. There are only 2 AMP's left in St. Charles. Once they shut down the 2 remaining places the St. Charles AMP scene will be over. SaintChuck.

I recently discovered the french speaking parts of western Switzerland along Lake Geneva. French is spoken very fluently here. I also had the opportunity to do some deep drilling. The deep drilling apparatus I used had a rotating shaft to bore through. It worked very well and was very efficient.
