You have to learn how to spot the fakes. There are many reliable indicators. Off the top pf my head:
1) Email only for contact info - 100% FAKE; it's an email-address harvesting scheme, in which they get paid some small amount for every legitimate email address (live person) they can come up with.
2) Prices too low - $40/ hr, $80/ all night? - 100% FAKE; one way or another they're going to get your small money, but you're going to get ZIP.
3) "Location" slot NOT listing Anchorage (or Juneau, Fairbanks, etc.) - 100% FAKE; they plan to hit you for a "scheduling fee", or some other such bullshit.
4) "Location" slot lists "downtown", "midtown", "west side", etc - 80% FAKE; EVERY city has a "midtown" or a "west side".
5) Photos are too professional - 80% FAKE; most providers use selfies, typically shot in a hotel / motel room or small apartment. Notable exceptions, such as Davina, Charlie, Serenity, etc are well-established anyway.
6) "Deposit mandatory" do I even have to say it? 100% FAKE.
7) "Cashapp, Paypal, Venmo ONLY" - No cash? 100% FAKE; girl insists on payment before action; after payment is confirmed it turns out that's only a "meet & greet fee", or she ducks out on you, or her "boyfriend" barges in, or whatever.
So that's a partial list. There are a LOT more clues to be on the alert for. Adultlook and STG have links to long dissertations detailing how to spot fakes and how to not get ripped off, but in general if it looks too good to be true, it IS.

The number was 29, but there was nothing "random" about my selection. I ONLY surveyed / reported the number of known non-scammers.
If I was to guess, I would say that you've been choosing to contact only the smoking-hot, model-grade photos while ignoring their MANY glaring red flags.
