She said I owed her $90 for two couch dances and three VIP. The manager was watching this whole transaction. He was growling at me (seriously) so I gave her another $40. I'm telling you about this ripoff so others won't get sucked in. Her name is Gavel (or something similar). Watch out for this one. It's the first ripoff I've had at TDs since 1993.

It is truly sad what the td's tucson clubs have come to. My friends and myself have had nothing positive to say about the east & west club for years. But as of recent, more and more rip offs have been taking place. They take advantage of adding a dance or two to each customer, in attempt to make more money. Bad idea ladies. Word gets around real fast. The way that it's structured now with no bouncers present, and managers doing multiple duties, it's virtually impossible to calculate. But if the ladies would just keep it honest there would be no issues. And in the evening when bouncers and dancers working to hussle the customer together makes the situation no better. But with things getting tuffer and tuffer for the ladies to make money, these won't be the last posts like this that we will see.

Well the bottom line is you really have no recourse even with the management since they have instituted their "dancers can charge what they want policy"; negotiate with h them before the dances ensue. Sadly SL if you didn't get the skinny on her prices beforehand she can charge what she wants. Personally I believe they instituted this policy to facilitate the ripoff, because even if she quotes you "A" and then asks for "B" later it is not as if the management will side with the patron. I only go to the East club on rare occasion and then only to see dancers that I have known for years that I am certain of their set prices for services in the VIP or as take out later. The West club is dead to me.

I took a buddy of mine out yesterday to cheer him up. He requested going to Ten's. We got there around 5pm. We didn't have to pay cover going that early. There were only about 5 dancers though. My buddy got a few of the second tier dances. Floor dances are still seven dollars, mid level dances still eleven dollars. Since it was dead there I suggested we go to Spellbound. At least there your lap dancing dollars go a little further.

Spellbound had at least a dozen girls work. There were a variety of ethnicities which I prefer. Cover was five dollars, which is not too bad. First off I would like to second what PL said below. Now for the fun! I went to Spellbound again this afternoon in search of my transfers from TDW. No such luck though. I went to TDW last Thursday, early evening. My two favorites were not there. One nice little spinner who I have seen advertise before gave fair dances on the couches for twelve. The cover was ten instead of the usual five, but they had a buffet with hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and buffalo wings (as C&C mentioned below). So an extra five for all you can eat is not bad. I've only been to PPV's at CC before where the ladies keep dancing the whole time. Here they had ladies dance only between the fights, which was mildly disappointing. Five for floor dances and a wider variety of ladies still makes this my favorite spot for a cheap thrill. :p

I was on the east side of town last Wednesday and decided to stop in to TD's East. I would say there were maybe 5 customers and 5 to 8 dancers. It was about 1 pm. Most dancers were charging 10 on the floor. One dancer, Paige, a sloppy blonde, quoted me 10 but when it came time to settle (after the first song) she switched to 15. I had already handed her a Jackson. First she said thanks and started to leave. I asked for change and she said,"Sure. Let's see that would be five dollars change." I acted surprised and asked for my Jackson back as if I had 15. I had a feeling if I didn't get that back first it wouldn't go so well for me. She gave it back. I gave her 10 and told her that was what she quoted. She said something like,"I did? I suppose I was trying to be cheap and screwed myself." Sure honey. Recently they hired a bunch of new drama-queen, drug-snorting, scamming dancers (the kind no other club would hire) while firing the true talent. Seeing the established dancers make money, the new dancers are doing their best to get rid of them by any means possible. The new dancers, none with any redeeming social value, are causing all sorts of trouble with the long-established dancers by feeding Bucket (especially) , Eddie, Keith, and Mark all sorts of untrue stories about those who have been there a long time and are making money. It's causing all sorts of unrest among the dancers while the management turns a blind eye. The management's response to all this is to fire the good dancers—those that don't cause any grief—so that the new "criminal element" can take over.

I've tried some of the new dancers. Other than being opportunistic, they are fucking any and all customers they can entice into the VIP—condoms don't matter. If you're taking advantage of the situation, be careful. All the ones I tried had a bad attitude. Turn them down and they'll give you lip. They will argue with you about everything. None of them can count dances and will rip you off. They're telling me how they're going to get so-and-so fired. One of them was snorting coke off my thigh.

It's as if management hired a pack of she-wolf bitches with no regard for the customer. The sad news is that management isn't interested in supporting the long-established dancers who have been good to them by bringing in the good customers.

Expect trouble at TDs West as dancers cause more problems then management can cope with. Management is clueless who is acting in their best interests and is willing to kick to the curb those that are not the ones causing trouble. Makes me wonder if TDs management is purposely cruising for a Candy Store-type situation and the subsequent downfall. One word: mismanagement.

The night before my Tucson business trip read up on clubs. Venom with its remodel sounded interesting (previously Spellbound and then Candy Store) and liked the idea from one report of the buffet. Including my favorite popcorn. But some reviews indicated dancers set their own pricing and all the complex choice were described as "made me dizzy."

When arrived I thought it was closed with the huge fenced in parking lot etc. But I decided to park in the So shopping center lot and walk around the construction and see for sure if closed. I had missed the earlier entrance that was open into the club area.

Nice newer looking clean club. No initial outer area but nice guy sitting at bar checks you out. No cover asked for. Was about 5PM on Thursday. TV screens all over but didn't make it too bright but about right. I hate clubs so dark can hardly see dancers but better for dance privacy.

Club seemed very friendly, good mix of dancers from a bit to large for me to some more my type (more slender, smaller natural breasts). My timing was probably wrong since no popcorn that I could see but no cover charge either. I was on my way back to Phoenix and also wanted to spend some time at Curves so didn't want to stay too long. I would up with dances from the two I found most attractive. No pressure to buy any drinks.

Heading back to Phoenix had read interesting reviews of Curves and I was heading back to freeway on Grant so close by. Someone at Venom I visited first talked about how bad Curves was with nasty gals etc. I was also expecting more gals that tilt forward from the weight of big man made breasts etc vs the smaller natural breasts I prefer.

I was delighted to find mostly attractive dancers as well as the many servers which at times seemed to be more drink gals than dancers working the floor. This was about 6:30 PM Thursday 10/27. No pressure to buy any drinks. Have zero interest in drinks or stage dancing but honest intimate high touch human mutual interaction but nothing directly sexual.

Looking around almost all the guys were getting air dances basically with their hand at their sides so at first I thought this would not be of any interest to me. However with my kind of interactive touch had no problem with dancers I was with and as always varying degree of the kind of intimacy interaction I enjoy (see my Phoenix reviews for more ideas what I like).

I didn't like that when you walk in the door a guy guides you to where to sit. Basically I then moved to where I preferred with no issue. Since I have zero interest in gawking at stage dancers prefer further back etc. Overall atmosphere seemed very friendly and its a good size, clean nicely laid out club. Had printed out the online coupon which is exactly the same as Bandaid in Phoenix- same gal and wording just different name. Owner also owns Highlighter and at least one other Phoenix club, forget which.

First time back to Tucson in about 2 years. I use to be more active in Tucson and even had a Tucson phone years ago. But wasting so much time going there and the CPA that was referring clients to me sadly died surfing in Hawaii quite a few years ago.

In the past I never liked any of the Tucson clubs since as most know I have zero interest in stage dancing or drinks, but enjoy the quality interactive contact with women as real people not just sex objects. I gave up on Phoenix clubs for about 10 years after the law changed that I fought against at City Council, talk radio etc. Then I fell in love with the Ontario Canada strip clubs with full nude contact, no high VIP room prices and no legal issues.

For the last year or so there is been little or no enforcement of the illegal to even hug basically law in Phoenix and some clubs are more like those in Canada, although still not as nice and depends on club and dancers. I always fear enforcement will return of guys try and take it too far. Obviously should not be anything sexual but I enjoy great intimate touch human interaction that we need more of in our culture and enjoy the great response I often get from dancers.

Heading for Tucson I did some fast research on review sites and limited my interest to two clubs, Curves and Venom. My meeting was on the extreme West side of Tucson so both of these clubs sort of on my way back to Phoenix although had do go a bit South to Venom. Was going to skip it since Curves directly on my return route (Grant near freeway) but my GPS showed that Venom was actually closer when I checked it. So went to both clubs.

There were more strippers than customers. I have never seen so many ugly women in a strip joint. I had private dances with one of the good looking girls who mentioned that most of the guys sitting at the bar are regulars and rarely go for dances. I had some time to kill before an appointment at TD's East yesterday, so I thought I would check out Venom. I hadn't been there since it changed its name and decor from Spellbound. Spellbound was pretty dreadful, so I had very low expectations.

The renovation has given the place a much classier feel, but it was mostly the same dancers that were there as Spellbound, no surprise. One pleasant surprise was that Frenchy is back from living in San Diego. She is here four days a week, Thursday through Sunday, until she sells her Tucson house, then she will go back to San Diego full-time. So I usually just take 'them to the mall or where we'll hang out and maybe do a little shopping. I never know what to buy so I let her decide. I went back to Ten's again in the late afternoon apparently about the time shifts changed. I had nice dances with 3 of the ladies. Less people in club, sothe owners feel that they need to raise the prices of drinks, and addan additional tax to the entertainers. So in turn, the only way a dancer knows how to get more is to add a dance or two here and there. Not good. Also, be careful if a manager and a dancer are working together. Then your really in trouble. It doesn't hurt to count aloud after each dance if needed. I know that it may take away a bit from the mood, but it might safe you 20-40 bucks depending on the situation. Just a little more information about Eden from last night to add to my report below. They remodeled the Private Dances area so that the wall and the ramp going up to it have been removed. There is only a beaded curtain serving as a divider now. There wasn't much privacy before. Coincidentally, the stall in the mens room also had the door / wall removed and is now only covered by a similar beaded curtain. The area that was the DJ booth looked to be sort of a raised table area. Not sure if that's a normal VIP type area, but they had it sort of roped off last night for Bridget and her entourage. The area that was formerly the 'Cabana' area is now where the DJ works.

I was there for the feature show, and only tipped dancers on the stage. I did not get any floor dances, let alone private dances. Eden / BR has been notorious for straight dances and no extra fun, with LOTS of bouncers watching at all times. I will say though that two of the dancers I tipped on stage were former (and maybe future?) advertisers. So take out may be an option.

This girl tries to make like passing out a handy or a BJ is a bad thing at a club. These are definitely pluses in my guide book to stripology. She should clean up a little and try it out; she might make a few bucks.

I hope this report isn't going to damage my credibility. I went to TDW this afternoon and, despite there being 10-12 dancers, not one of them was African-American. No shit. I asked one of the dancers there about it and she said a bunch of dancers were fired for fighting. I can't say whether that is true or not. Out of the 10-12 that were there, there were no raving beauties but some were decent. A hispanic dancer with a thick ass and thighs, (maybe Crystal) was very promising on the couches. And a tall, slender, older blonde worked her hand up the leg of my shorts on the couches and told me she could take it out in the VIP or Champagne room (whatever they call it there). I had already made an appointment with someone and was wasting my time or I would have spent more time and money there and taken the blonde up on her offer.

I stopped by Curves this weekend. They have remodeled the VIP area to look similar to the booths in the champagne room. All this was done overnight late last week (so I am told). Of course, the management sees this as a way to jack up prices. The VIP is now $20 per dance also, just like Champagne prices, but w / o admission overhead. And, you guessed it, the charge to the ladies is also higher. Gosh, I wonder if increases in Champagne will soon follow?

I personally find it very distasteful how Curves management is squeezing the customers and the dancers. The customer prices for drinks, dances, etc has steadily increased over recent years (even as the economy was bad). And, it is not going to the ladies. The dancer and waitress fees have increased also. In fact, some categories of those lady fees have doubled in the last year!

Sorry for the rant. I guess Curves has now pushed me past the limit of tolerance. I'm not interested in the place anymore. They just lost a good customer. I'm tired of the management at Curves.

W949And most of the clubs in Tucson and Phoenix have taken a big cut because of the economy. And that is why alot of the ladies are giving the Take-Out option. And the girls from Phoenix have been coming to Tucson because they've been making more here. And the Owners of Curves are still paying for that place next to Wildcat Automotive on Oracle. That place sure didn't work out. That place has been closed for at least 5 years now. I'm just waiting for a club to have an entry fee of FREE till the economy gets better. Just impose a 2 drink minimum. Or even just a 1 drink minimum till the money starts rolling in again. Be safe. Play safe.
