I checked out Jackson and didn't see anything at the Mapco or Mystik, so I cruised back down and hit Pope, which didn't have anything either.
I then made the run down to the south side of town. Lamar had 2 BSWs walking in the area just north of Mrs Winner's at Knight Arnold. I observed them in the area for maybe 10 minutes and made timed runs on the stretch of Lamar between Winchester and Airways (to make sure I covered the motel areas) every 20 minutes or so. The 2 BSWs were the only girls on the street for an hour or so and didn't appear to be having much luck getting dates. On my last run down Lamar, I did note an older blonde (in her 40s, at least) with glasses cross the road just north of Knight Arnold in the general direction of a marked cruiser that had stopped nearby, which spooked me a little. After Lamar, I hit Brooks, which was quiet, as it basically was on my previous times in Memphis and hit the EP / Bellevue area which had a couple of below-average looking SWs out (near the cemetary area). Headed back to motel for the night afterwards.
On Friday, I went back out up north around lunchtime. Summer was quiet again (it was just about on all my runs in the area). I noticed construction crews pouring cement on the sidewalk at the corner of many of the sidestreets there. I thought maybe their presence might have discouraged some of the SWs from walking directly on that part of Summer (purely a guess). National didn't really have anything on my pass down it, so I headed up to Jackson. That is when I noticed a young blonde at Jackson / Orchi near the Mapco. She was standing around smoking a cigarette and talking on her phone. She hung around out front of the Mapco for a good 10 minutes or so but didn't really make eye contact with me. I was able to get a shot of her, though it isn't a great pic. Anyone recognize her? A little while later, I decided that I'd watched long enough and cruised a little more. Heading south on National, I immediately spotted what appeared to be a young WSW (a light-haired brunette) walking with her guy on Bayliss right near the Sweden Kreme. At the Jackson intersection, she split from him and headed north, across the bridge. I headed north as well to try and see if I could get a better look and to see where she might go. I was able to snap a picture of her after she had crossed the bridge and was walking on north of Jackson almost to Orchi. She ended up going into a store near the Orchi intersection. Anyone have clues on who she is? After observing on Jackson, I moved back down National when I spotted a WSW with very dark brown hair turn off National onto Hardin. She was wearing jeans, knee-high boots and had long hair, which she had put up. She wasn't skinny, as she definitely filled out her jeans but she wasn't fat. I only saw the back of her, as she disappeared onto Hardin and didn't get to see her face. I tried to pursue to get a better look, as I made the block at Guernsey over to North Highland, assuming that she would come out around there. As I made the block at Highland and drove north to Macon and then back west to National, that is when I realized that I had made a mistake: Hardin doesn't go all the way to N Highland, but deadends. I looked around in that area for a few minutes but she never popped back up. So, I lost her. I decided to head back down south again around 3pm. Lamar looked empty, as did Brooks and EP / Bellevue, so the south side definitely appeared to be slow.
I took a break and went back out just before dark. I headed back north to Summer and National. National was quiet until I got above the Macon intersection. Around the Buchanan / Rockwood area, I spotted a blonde WSW heading north, so I quietly made the block up the road. After turning around, I realized that the WSW appeared to be Pam Fitz. I will state that she looked better than her mugshots and better than I expected, though I still would say that she's not my type. She ended up cutting down a sidestreet around Mayflower, which was probably good for her, as LE had someone pulled over on National and on Jackson near Bayliss as well. LE, both marked and unmarked, were very present. Jackson looked quiet, as no SW were around the Mapco or Mystik. Made the trip back down south to find things still quiet on Lamar and Brooks. EP again had a few BSW walking between the cemetary area and the Parkway intersection, though I didn't like their looks, so I didn't bother to stop and observe.
Took a long break for dinner and headed back out around 11 pm. One slight change up north, as I saw 2 below-average looking BSW on Summer but passed them by. National was a little different, as I saw my first true bit of action south of Macon. On my previous runs in the area, everything seemed to be happening on the sectional of National that was north of Macon. I had always been under the impression that the entire street can be active (which I would guess to be true) and did see a WSW standing under a light around Bowen and Powell. She looked to be in her 30s, a brunette and a bit overweight, not particularly attractive, so I moved on. Didn't see much else, though I spotted one BSW walking just north of Macon. After checking Jackson, I went down south to make my rounds down there again.
Back down on Lamar, I made some times runs between the Airways intersection and Winchester intersection. Unlike Thursday, I didn't see a single SW out and about, only the typical homeless that are out and about that time of night. Made several runs up and down the street and decided to head over to Brooks. Over on Brooks, things were still quiet, which was a big disappointment, as I know how this area used to be considered a prime SW spot maybe 8-10 years ago. With all of the motels in the area, I would think it would still have the potential for it. Made a run up EP / Bellevue and saw 2 BSW walking around Kerr. I went up the street and doubled-back but didn't see them when I passed that area again. I'm guessing they went off into that neighborhood to the east there. After giving up and heading back up to Bellevue and not spotting anything, called it a night and headed back to the motel.
Overall thoughts: I'm a bit of an outsider, so I can't give a daily or even weekly opinion of the areas I cruised. However, it seemed pretty clear to me that the north side of the city (particularly National and the sidestreets off it) have the most activity. That area also had easily the most LE activity (marked and unmarked) of any area I was in. Any trip pretty much guaranteed seeing multiple patrol cars and oftentimes blue lights somewhere in the vicinity. Lamar was as quiet this time around as it has been on my last couple of trips. It is just either in a rut or it could be joining Brooks in becoming an area that used to be a prime SW spot but that no longer really reliably yields results. Am I off in thinking that or is Lamar really going the way of Brooks? Bellevue / EP was quieter than it had been on my last trip, which was a pretty noticeable change. Not sure if I just picked the wrong times or if things in general are slower there.

When I was in Memphis last month, the north side of the city (National / Jackson) had the most activity. The south side (Lamar, EP / Bellevue and Brooks) looked pretty dry. It could be any number of factors, though. LE, the weather, the time of day, the location. It is not an exact science, though we do our best to nail down when and where the activity will be. Now everyone is entitled to their opinion and, in this case, I believe there may be an incorrect assumption that BP escorts automatically attain some kind of higher grade of excellence than SW's. But most of us have seen BP escorts that have had extremely poor hygiene, or provide a 'quick turnaround' service, or just do not possess very good skills: attributes that are generally associated with SW's instead of escorts.
Over the last 7-8 years, I know of at least a few SW's in this city that that have looked real good, but were either not gifted with very good skills, or had attitude issues. Met "Rhonda" today on National around Tutweiler. Was just about to give up thinking the weather had won again, turned the corner and there she was. She gave the look, I nodded and the game was on. Super nice personality, will look to repeat again soon. Her phone's off right now, so I don't have digits to share, but maybe next time if she says its ok. All in all a great experience, would be nice to no have been so rushed, (my fault, not hers) but can say, a good time was had by all.

The quality on the streets aint the same, and LE seems to be around every corner. SS2Amen. Me and BC had a discussion about Lynn a few days ago. We both agreed and said pretty much what you are saying now. I bet she called me 15 times Thursday and Friday. She did however leave me alone once it got dark so at least I got that going for me. I'd rate her above a 4 but nowhere near the top tier of SW scale. Pretty good for a 43 year old woman but not a 4.

I was at the Wonder Bread store Tuesday morning when I saw a female in hot pink pants and a brown hooded coat walking toward the store. I didn't get a very good look at her face since she had the hood pulled over her face. She did look at me but didn't wave or anything. About an hour later after running errands and getting some money, I drove back by the Wonder Bread store but didn't see her until I was just past the apartments just north. I would have returned but our good friend Uncle Leo was behind me. Does anyone know who she might be and is she available?

That is 10 out of the 20 "most wanted" fugitives in Memphis. Wow!
The other 10 are for aggravated assault (2) , theft of property, possession / selling meth, bad checks, identity theft, possession / selling cocaine, aggravated burglary, attempted 2nd degree murder, and promoting the manufacture of meth.
THIS is why Memphis is so screwed up. The cops are wasting time on minor crime while letting major crime run rampant. Memphis politicians' priorities are so out of whack. And they wonder why the Mall of Memphis had to be closed down and bulldozed? Freaking idiots!
It is nice of the newspaper to provide us with these gal's legal names, ages, and last known addresses though. They gave me four new names to add to my "to do" list!

Seriously you think the list of charges you noted above is minor? Thats serious stuff. I think he means they are wasting their time on the 50% that are just wanted for prostitution, and should be spending their time on other "serious crimes"

The question I have is this: "Have any of you guys been actually risking an accident driving on ice days down the strips. Lamar, National and others have been the site of many fond memories, but they aren't worth an insurance claim.
With this fickle weather, I may not be back on the strips until May.

I think a lot of fellas on here find gems but for the fear of losing them to LE or burning the girls out they go silent. Instead mentioning street names or posting at all these guys prefer to keep quiet and hold on their recession hos. After almost two months of burning up gas and finding crumbs of a former feast fellas I feel your pain.

Most guys aren't posting where their hidden finds are in fear of LE finding them and alot of the girls have their phonebooks of the regulars they can count on to come by. The ones I find have their regular route and times they are out even though that has become few and far between. Takes alot of the fun out of the hobby like it once was. Really enjoyed just driving thru the regular areas and finding someone new seemed like every week a new one was out.
