I've been playing the STG game and the Strip Club game for a while and I wanted to try out the AVE game next.
I'm also super sad to hear about Steph, I saw her in NJ all the time back when she was posting on STG. Loved seeing her when she was preggo too, it was kind of hot. BUT, there are a ton of lurkers on this forum that have used details to their own advantage and burned the bridge for others.
For example, a monger telling a woman that he read on this site she would come down to a certain donation, or personal info that maybe only a handful of guys knows. I was shut out by a regular once for exactly this reason.
Since then I am careful about what details I let out, just enough to help others out but nothing that can come back to me.

Here are my tips. First, once you spot one, try to make eye contact. That's a major tell tale sign that she's a SW, and not a female resident of the neighborhood. Then slow down, use your turn signal and try like hell not to pick them up right on the Avenue. Don't negotiate thru an open car window, wave her in and the pull away and make small talk. A police decoy will never get in your car and if they insist on talking before getting in the car, just pull away and forget her.I really doubt there are any "police decoys" in philly. Maybe there were 30+ years ago. But definitely not now and definitely not in Kensington. I have literally been caught several times with my pants down and they check my clean record and let me go.
It is also very easy to spot anyone who would be LEO because the real SW are mostly all sever addicts these days.
Personally for me, I prefer doing all the negotiating upfront through the window. It helps weed out a lot of the bad ones. I've had to physically remove many of them from my car because they refused to leave. Some of them expect to be paid for doing nothing but come in and sit.
Also, I would say a lot of the good SW are basically regular "female residents of the neighborhood. " many would turn to tricking for quick money but if you are lucky, you can snag up a decent reg that doesn't walk the ave everyday.
Can any of you help a fellow longer out from a different state longtime lurker of this forum due to cj and hawk. The pics they posted Christ.

It's been two weeks since the "clean up. " originally it was from quick stop to Allegheny. Now it just seems to be from Clearfield to Allegheny. All the street people just moved into neighboring residential streets or down closer to somerset.
They just have cops babysit two blocks to prevent tents from popping up there, but the tents and people are just around the corner. It looks like the city plans to pay for this by just ticketing parked cars more.
One of the street people I picked up said the drug dealers "put out a hit on the mayor" meaning that some people plan to assassinate her. I'm probably thinking this is 50:50. People in Kensington and Philly are generally too lazy to get anything done.

You cover more ground and therefore have more options of girls. Not to mention it is much safer for you. Stake out a hotspot for girls, if you dislike having to turn around. The convenience stores are also a good spot to check out girls in a pinch. Trust me though rarely are you going to miss out on a girl who won't be available another day. I've missed out on many girls, to soon after finding a better option or a couple weeks / months later catching her. You won't know if a girl is worth pulling over for till after the date.

Advantages are that I get to see if she is friendly and capable of conversation. Sometimes you see right away she is a zombie already nodding off. If I decide to walk away I can do it easily. If you do the car pickup, once a girl is in the car, if the first minute goes badly you sometimes get that "you got to pay me or I'm not getting out. ".
The sidewalk approach is easy. Sometimes I park past a girl walking, get out and wait till she gets to where I am and then I say, "Looking good. " And see how she reacts.

In my many years of mongering in philly, I have not had any experience of LE cracking down on mongers. If the monger is doing other illegal activities (drug dealing, violence, wreckless driving etc) then that is a different story. But if the monger is an otherwise law abiding citizen, then they just let you go. This has been my experience countless times.
The truth is that mongers are a big portion of what run the city. They end up doing more hard than good by going after these types of mutually consensual interactions. Just look at that whole robert kraft fiasco.
The other issue is that cops are also mongers. They monger on their off duty times and some even monger on duty. They will definitely not go after their own. This is probably why they have their own specified units to have a select few only go after SW.
I am not opposed to the idea that LE could change their strategy, but I'll believe it when I see it.

1. go in with an amount of time you are willing to lose. Usually I just do a few laps and if nothing tickles my fancy, I hit up an AMP. Sometimes I do a few laps in Camden. IMO Camden is similar to Kensington but usually worse. Similar to going to Vegas with a set amount of money you are willing to lose; that way you don't lose your life savings.
2. I'd say afternoon-early evening is the worst time to go out. Too much people out so it makes traffic bad. And more cops out. And the hot weather makes SW not want to be outside for long.
3. lower your standards. Picking up SW in Kensington is like eating out of the trash. You are rarely going to find something pristine. You need to learn how to settle with what's there or not partake at all.

Phyuck!Generally, I try to advise people from out of town to try the Philly AMPs instead of trying your luck in Kensington. I find that the quality and quantity of Philly AMPs are generally better than many other US cities.
If you do go to Kensington, there are here are some things to keep in mind:

At any given time, there are 20-30 cops patrolling the streets. Mostly on foot. They also have a dirt bike squad. It seems like they are paying for all this by ticketing more citizens.
You should not get all your info from youtube. Sbc videos is only highlighting addicts and hookers. They are not going to post cops unless they are doing something people want to see. I think youtube may also have some rules about cops or they will take the video down. There was a clip of one of my regs getting arrested and later it was taken down. Videos of drug use are obviously taken down.
I've been hearing they have also been doing a lot more 24 hr lockups for people with drugs. It makes then very dope sick.
The "cleanup only happened between Allegheny & Clearfield. The rest of the Ave is just as busy as ever. You just see all of the new academy recruits walking in groups but not really doing anything.

Saw them Thurs night, but after talking to them Wed night I knew they were $$$ I wasn't going to drop. Stephanie was the nicest most pleasant girl IMHO ever on the stroll. She was way way to good for the Ave. She was trapped for way to long and the Ave. Caught up to her. Over the passed 2 years Steph and I became really good friends. We spent a lot of time together over the last 2 years. I got to know her as a person and saw first hand what these girls go though everyday. Stephanie hated what she had to do but you would not know it. When she went to work you would never know it. You could drive around for 8 hours and not see a decent woman for multiple days in a row. I can't speak for everyone, but three in one trip is a bit of a stretch for most people. I see a lot of mongers with disabled plates driving around so I'm also guessing their cocks are also disabled. If you pick up a crazy SW, the minute you realize the situation is going left, tell her firmly that you're not wasting your time with BS. I usually offer a ten, say hey this isn't going to work, you're falling asleep, too many rules, etc, etc. Here's a ten, just get out. Usually they'll be happy to have conned you out of a ten for no work and leave. When they try to get more, or refuse, you may have to get firm. However, if it gets out of control the drama may damage your vehicle, draw unwanted attention, LE, her boyfriend / accomplice, etc. I've had to physically evict a couple SW from my car over the years, but that was as a last resort and I was lucky things didn't get too crazy. As a result I learned to not pick up nodding or aggressive or suspicious acting SW. When in doubt, do without. Always err on the side of caution. You have something to lose. A homeless drug addict doesn't. Safe hunting!I had a situation years ago, maybe 2017-2018? Where I I picked up someone I recognized previously. As soon as I got her in the my car I realized she was a shell of her former self and now had a few screws loose. I immediately offered her some change to get out. She refused. Now I hide my phone and wallet before picking anyone. Seeing nothing' else of value, she grabbed the first thing she could think of, she snatched the glasses off my face and ran downTiago st near the train stop by the park. Being that they were prescription glasses I had no choice but to stop the vehicle and chase after her, she didn't get too far until I caught her and wrestled my glasses out of her hand. It was quite the scene. I did get a few stares but luckily it wasn't daytime and not too many people were out.
I know I got lucky, this girl was unhinged and was full fledged wacko at this point. Not to mention running out of my car anything could have happened. If she had a knife or blade on her as alot of girls on the street do, she would have used it. I seen her a few more times on the K, and she would look batshit crazy and not be wearing anything on her feet,. I don't remember her name, but she was a tallish, decent body mixed girl who had real short almost buzz cut hair. Experienced mongers may remember her.
