Successful mongering is about taking risks and managing the level of risk one takes.

I know numerous dancers close to 50 years old now that have been high since 12 years old.
I do maintenance and have say 6 guys in their 50's for small jobs that do use drugs till this since 10 years old.
This is the break down for a SW. Childhood addict. Hits the streets till 40. Methadone kicks in for 10 years. Psych meds in the end. They are true life zombies hard to slay.
Do you think I should try getting there earlier? I could get there by 10:30 tonight and hope for something better I guess.

Yet for every 35-45 year old addict there are that many that never got to that age. Those numbers aren't mine. I got them from the Drugs Inc documentary on Netflix. Not sure how they arrived at those numbers. I do believe they have some basis to come to that conclusion. They didn't say it was the rule but on the average.
No matter what the numbers are they are way to high. They are downright scary. Any monger with any amount of experience knows first hand how many get lost that we know about. Then there are that many again that die in the shadows and not identified for years if at all. They die due to the use of drugs or they are victims of the streets.
So yes, there are those that get past age 35-40 not that many from what I've seen in my life. Just as many don't make it. We can't be fooled by the few that do into believing there is no threat or that is the norm. As there is nothing further from the truth. The variables will always be there. The sad truth is between the bad garbage drugs they are taking, the decent drugs, the length of time they have been using, and the many elements they deal with, the life expectancy is greatly reduced. In my many years of experience more people didn't get out or make it than did. The retirees club is very limited.
So I agree in a concentrated area it may appear there are a lot of survivors. The reality on an overall scale is there are very few. This year alone in the first four months nine girls that I know died from drugs or the streets. I don't know of nine or more that got past thirty five and are still using or that got out alive and are clean. Now I may be totally wrong. I do think there is some merit to the documentary. With all due respect, until it's proven otherwise, I will continue to believe less survive than do Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.

So taking some time to get a feel for what a working girl looks like, where LE hides, where one can turn, how to navigate the one-way streets, etc. Is all part of the process.
Now I'll ask, you said the girl looked at you, but did you get "the look?" Second, when you made eye contact what did you do? Did you smile at her? Nod your head or give any indication of interest? I know the first time I see a girl I am usually checking her out: size, shape, dress, way she walks / handles herself, is she drug sick, is she someone who I want to scoop? Then on the second or third pass, after reconning the area for "my buddies", pimps & other hazards, THEN I'll give a smile, nod the head or point to the street I am going to turn on so she knows to follow.
So yeah, do give yourself some time to observe and learn and let things happen as they may. I know when the little head is in need that isn't always easy to do. But I have gone home many a time, tail between my legs rather than force something and take an unreasonable risk. There is a bit of art to this be patient with yourself as you learn- you are doing the right things, keep those up and you'll do well in the long run!

As stated by CL there are three major tools of value at the disposal of any Monger. They are Caution, caution and caution. If these rules stay in the front of a Mongers head he will have very little adverse issues to deal with. He will be able to deal with any encounter he may have. Without exercising these three rules you are headed for failure from jump street.
We all make mistakes. We have errors in judgement. We don't always hit the target we aim for. We all have gone home empty handed. This is important to understand. Another thing to keep in mind is we are not the only person doing this activity at any given time. There are others around you that have the same motives you have. Maybe even more experience. No girl is corner lounging hoping Willy comes along to get her well. She's waiting for whoever makes the move to get her.
There are a couple issues that are not addressed in the Mongering Rules. I'll try as best I can to cover them here.
It has been stressed over and over many times to never carry funds you are not willing to part with. This is paramount to get this engrained in your mind. There are girls that prey upon new, green, novice, unsuspecting Mongers. They will stick a knife to you, hold you at gunpoint or do anything to get whatever funds you may have. They have an accomplice close by.
They are brazen, bold, courageous. They know you won't report any altercation because you are involved in illegal activity. Don't play into their hand. You will lose every time. I keep a dummy roll of cash specifically for this purpose. A few dollar bills wrapped around some newspaper with a rubber band around it.
Always remember a new, green, novice monger stands out like a sore thumb. He's the guy that cruises the Avenue at a snails pace. He holds up the natural flow of traffic looking up and down every street he passes. Not really knowing what he's looking to find. Staring at and drooling over anything that remotely resembles a woman. Sometimes the girl he's drooling over is a guy dressed as a woman. Although that could very well be what he's looking for. He's the guy that sees the strip as the shopping mall for pussy. He's the guy that will throw caution to the wind and pull right up on a girl on the strip. He will drop the window she will bend over, lean in, tits out, ass in the air and they discuss any deal at hand. We see this day in and day out. The girl doesn't give two hoots who sees what she's doing. She has the opportunity to get some cash. She jumps at the chance with no caution at all. If we recognize this bold act of defiance then surely so does LEO.
Now, of course, if stopped, the guy can give the standard "I was offering the girl a ride" line. A line every officer has heard more times than I have hairs on my head. They will never believe you no matter how legal it is to do that. They are far from as they say "stupid". It burns them up to be taken for stupid. So don't play that game with them lest you be the stupid one.
He or she may ask why you didn't stop to offer any of the other six women you passed to offer a known prostitute a ride? Hard pressed to explain that one. Caution must always be the deciding factor in all we do out there. Some officers know what you are doing. They've seen you pass the area five times in the last hour. They will threaten you with jail. They will threaten to send a letter to your home stating you have been observed in illegal activities involving prostitutes. The use of a little common sense and caution can avoid these confrontations.
When engaging in the fine art of Mongering try to "blend in" as best you can. Have a believable response to any question LEO may offer you if stopped. Keep the flow of traffic moving smoothly. Learn to scan the street ahead of you so you can pull over before or after your target without standing out. Never ever pick a girl up at the spur of the moment. It can be disastrous.
When I'm at a light I never pull up on the car in front of me. I always leave escape distance between myself and that vehicle. Anything can and will happen on the street. I've had bullets sail by me. I've seen confrontations develop and debris begins to fly like it has wings. I've had people bang on my windows trying to get in. I've had to mace people that became to aggressive trying to get in. I've been chased by other vehicles. Anything can and will happen. Leaving that distance between vehicles serves two purposes. First if the vehicle in front needs to back up for any reason they have the room. Then as previously stated should you need to vacate the area quickly you can do so without a back up. Just pull away. That one bit of caution can save you vehicle damage and maybe your life.
The playground we visit is a grown up world. There are no "play nice rules" . There is no "time out" for rule violators. It's every man for themselves. Get in the way you can become very dead meat. The element you encounter in that world is nothing like the quiet streets of Jersey or the Main line. It's a dangerous world filled with Addicts, drug dealers, murderers, gun battles, and every criminal element one can imagine.

Only thing I could add is how to deal with LE when stopped. Have referenced this video before, but find myself reviewing it periodically. Got to have the techniques and mindset ingrained as once stopped, is no time to try to remember what was said in the video. LE is trained to get you to incriminate yourself. No lawyer can get you out of a charge when you confess voluntarily. So learn how to avoid the LE "gotcha games!

Tried my luck across the bridge after le issue in camden. Was out on the ave and saw and old playmate. Nodded and went down a side street. As soon as she got in a cop passed by. We went a block and saw him around. Knew I was screwed. Turned off the ave and in no time pulled over. We got our stories straight to be prepared. Turns out to b a state cop with his partner! Within five minutes another state cop arrives. I'm now dealing with four? WTF are staties doing in kensington? This is too much! Fortunately our stories matched and after 45 minutes. We were both allowed to go! Took the back roads to the calisle watching very carefully. Dropped her{Tana} off and didn't exhale till getting over the bridge back in jersey. Probably not a surprise to anyone or readers of these threads but here is what I see in that data.
Actually 65% of the arrests are from 3 districts 24 (36%), 25 (12%), & 26 (17%).
Add in adjacent district 15 and the percentage is 76%.
Arrests in these districts seem to be active 12 months of the year. Seems as though the reports here bear out that this is the prime hunting location.
The only other district with consistent arrests is District 6- South Central. I am guessing that could coincide with the AMPs in CC? Or conventioneers wandering around propositioning decoys?
Some time ago there was a girl (Theresa) from the Woodland Ave area that was walking the street. From what I recall, there were only a few other reports from that area. And when things were tough, Ms T would head up to the K to peddle her wares and obtain meds.

There's been a lot of chatter recently about stepped-up law enforcement on the Kensington Avenue stroll. Even if this is the case, it doesn't seem to be affecting much. My hunting hours are generally limited to right before work on my way to the office in the morning, or returning home between 5 and 7 pm, and I've had no issues finding providers. In the mornings, I've seen blond tatted Kelly, tall Chrissy, blond Tanna, blond with pink highlights Nikki, and many more. I have heard that cute young brunette Olivia has been in jail for about the past two weeks, and blond Kayla I think has also been taken in, which I'm just assuming because she was always out, and now she suddenly isn't. There's been a lot of chatter recently about stepped-up law enforcement on the Kensington Avenue stroll. Even if this is the case, it doesn't seem to be affecting much. My hunting hours are generally limited to right before work on my way to the office in the morning, or returning home between 5 and 7 pm, and I've had no issues finding providers. In the mornings, I've seen blond tatted Kelly, tall Chrissy, blond Tanna, blond with pink highlights Nikki, and many more. I have heard that cute young brunette Olivia has been in jail for about the past two weeks, and blond Kayla I think has also been taken in, which I'm just assuming because she was always out, and now she suddenly isn't. I also just met another skinny Nikki at Tioga the other morning who had a slow, methodical but completely monster DT game.
Early evenings have yielded a different and largely new crop of providers, most of whose names I can't recall. Chubby Sara is one, there's been a very cute new blond down near the bull, many others, including dirty blond Holly on Torresdale (and I mean that dirty in the best possible way). Who the hell in their right mind would try to pick a girl up there. LEO hangs there for hours at a time. Both plain clothes and uniformed. These guys that got busted because of sheer stupidity. There's five dozen seasoned mongers reading this right now shaking their heads at how foolish these guys was. They had to be "PECKER DRUNK". If not then they just had no idea what the hell they was doing. These are the same guys I spoke of in past reports that haven't a clue what they are doing out there. They see a woman and immediately think she's working. Why didn't they just go to the station house walk in and ask the desk sergeant for a date. The end result would have been the same. If anybody is going to try to pick up a girl at freebie central for LEO, that is 7-11 or Dunkin Donut or any other place cops get freebies, they better be very low key. It's like walking into the lions den to remove a steak. You will lose every time there's under cover there. The sheer stupidity of this is not everybody going into 7-11 was looking for some strange. Once it gets dark and I stroll home starting from K and A to the great northeast there is a slew of vehicles pulled over. Anywhere from a cab or tow-truck and almost anyone with an out of state tag. I personally had LEO on my butt for 10 blocks but I am sober and totally legit. Many of newbies have a SW shotgun. Don't do it. For so reason LEO has NOT much to do so they target this area. This is known as picking the lowest fruit on the tree. They will outsmart you if your not heedful.

That is just plain silly and wrong. Read the post below by Gator145. He speaks the truth and is one of the most experienced mongers in Kensington.
Of course, like he says, one is always free to try to re-invent the wheel and become a doughnut (to be get scarfed up by LEO). Yeah, that nasty, arrogant and stupid "book learning" versus "teachable moments" (arrests) and "The School of Hard knocks! (rip-offs or worse)".

It is a warzone. Plenty of contestants will be out during normal drive times before and after work. The area is a run down shopping district full of refurbished appliance centers, pawn shops, $6 barber shops, and places that sell clothes for $10. The residents are beyond caring about you but you still have to play it smart and be aware at all times. Try not to get caught behind a bus so you have optimal sight lines. Good Luck.

Got together with Nikki whom I've reported on before. She's terrific as always. She informed me the LE presence is off the charts. The bottom line is b extra extra careful. I'm sticking to my contacts I have in my phone. To me cruising the ave is too risky. Good luck and b extra vigilant!!

Do they know what they are doing out there? Do they know what and who they are looking for? Do they know where to find what they are looking for? Most of the girls I encounter in the playground are "not out there like that". Or so they say. Yet I see them all the time and they aren't walking the dog. So what are they doing? Why are they standing on a corner waving and smiling at every car that drives by? Are they the Kensington ambassadors of good will? I think not.
This past Wednesday "I was out there like that". It was a nice day as was Thursday and both days I saw and no less than twenty two girls that I personally know are working between Church St and K down to Cumberland and K without making any turns. I'm not pointing any fingers or saying people are missing the bus somewhere. But When I see these statements on the board it makes me wonder where the author is looking for sport. Are they driving through Sesame Street, Chuck E Cheese? Where? They certainly are not running the strip. And if they are they haven't a clue who, what, where, and when they are looking for. Just one corner alone I saw Brittney, Alicia, Allie, two Nikkis, Star, Christina, Christine, Dora, three Melissas, Andrea and probably some that I didn't see. So what's drying up?
Uncle LEO would love to have the thought circulating around that things are drying up. It's just not so. Never will be. First and foremost LEO will not eliminate their own source of entertainment. As many of them patronize the girls as mongers. I know this to be a fact as I've seen them pick the girls up during off hours. So don't disillusion yourself thinking things will go the way of the dinosaur. This hobby has been around for hundreds of years and been through the toughest administrations. And it is thriving. It ain't going nowhere any time soon. I will say this much, there has been a massive clean up in progress but nothing I can see that effects the ability of any monger that truly wants to find what they are looking for on the strip. Certainly not as long as LEO is hanging in 7-11 for three hours at a time.

It never ceases to amaze me the people that think the stroll is "drying up". Why would they think that? Do they know what they are doing out there? Do they know what and who they are looking for? Do they know where to find what they are looking for? Most of the girls I encounter in the playground are "not out there like that". Or so they say. Yet I see them all the time and they aren't walking the dog. So what are they doing? Why are they standing on a corner waving and smiling at every car that drives by? Are they the Kensington ambassadors of good will? I think not.
This past Wednesday "I was out there like that". It was a nice day as was Thursday and both days I saw and no less than twenty two girls that I personally know are working between Church St and K down to Cumberland and K without making any turns. I'm not pointing any fingers or saying people are missing the bus somewhere. But When I see these statements on the board it makes me wonder where the author is looking for sport. Are they driving through Sesame Street, Chuck E Cheese? Where? They certainly are not running the strip. And if they are they haven't a clue who, what, where, and when they are looking for. Just one corner alone I saw Brittney, Alicia, Allie, two Nikkis, Star, Christina, Christine, Dora, three Melissas, Andrea and probably some that I didn't see. So what's drying up?
Uncle LEO would love to have the thought circulating around that things are drying up. It's just not so. Never will be. First and foremost LEO will not eliminate their own source of entertainment. As many of them patronize the girls as mongers. I know this to be a fact as I've seen them pick the girls up during off hours. So don't disillusion yourself thinking things will go the way of the dinosaur. This hobby has been around for hundreds of years and been through the toughest administrations. And it is thriving. It ain't going nowhere any time soon. I will say this much, there has been a massive clean up in progress but nothing I can see that effects the ability of any monger that truly wants to find what they are looking for on the strip. Certainly not as long as LEO is hanging in 7-11 for three hours at a time.
As long as the addicts are around so will the girls be. LEO will never lock up all the addicts. Think about that. It's a game in progress all day and all night long.

In fact my friend Kelly works / has worked many Go Go clubs. They club usually lets you go sooner than later as customers always want to see someone new.
CJ catches the newbies but some of us aren't so lucky.

When I didn't want to spring for a car rental, used to ride the train out to the appx. middle of the K stroll during daylight hours chiefly on a Saturday when I wasn't working, and walk it in both directions. Had some really excellent experiences, like two young Puerto Rican babes of age who took me to an abandominium and in duo fashion rocked my world (first ever duo experience), and this really curvy MILF whose date never showed and who was more than happy to take me home with her (walking) and let me hit that world class ass from behind. That said, cannot recommend what I did, the risk is too great, had some really scary experiences too. I can only recommend a car, similar great upside and puts a cap on the downside, in my personal experience.
Speaking of Philly fun, this report is way overdue; how much so? Let's say appx. 4 years, not sure why I didn't post then maybe wanted to keep it to myself as too good a thing, well over now with time. At that time I was NYC-based, but came down to Philly for some weekend fun as my bday was approaching. Rented a nice car, stayed at a nice Philly hotel, had a great dinner and then went driving, ended up in West Philly, was driving on Lancaster Avenue not sure exactly where but was within a half a mile of where it intersects with Fairmount Avenue, it was later in the evening towards but not quite at midnight a warm summer evening, heading East and saw this smoking hot BSW in some tight black satin pants and a low cut top. Did the quick turnaround and fortunately caught up with her, scooped her up and found a quiet spot, awesome BBBJ great DSLs which she knew how to use with great effect and did I say banging bod? And I slept through that? Well had to go, back to NYC but she's still blowing up my phone chiefly on the weekends so I invite her up to NYC for a long weekend together, she's all over that literally had the time of my life with her anything I wanted to do and as often as I wanted to do it, didn't hear "no" once but then she's making all sorts of odd and impossible demands, like can she move in and can I get her a car so she can work the clubs in NYC I'm like no, but damn everything about her is so fine it was really tempting but I had access without all the sugardaddy stuff, don't give away the milk or you'll never sell the cow. So we become friends sort of, turns out she's a good actress because I later learn no interest in men whatsoever women are her thing, sort of a catfish situation but if the actress is good enough who cares if its real or not, just go with it which I did and had the time of my life with a great chick from West Philly simply by being at the right place at the right time, more than compensates for all those wasted tanks of gas driving around and coming up empty handed so keep the faith and when you find your unicorn, grab it and roll with it!!

Girls are out in numbers for the pre work crowd. After they get their dates, get their dope and pass out for hours some where. Lunch, and drive time home rinse and repeat the process. I have noticed through out the the years on this board no one says what time they were on the Ave out looking. You will find that there are times that every corner has a mascot and other times it is dead because the ladies just got their fix. Don't forget these girls don't come out to work set hours and sock the money way. In their world it's: need a hit, time to get a date, get drugs, pass out, be a waste until it's time for another hit and the cycle starts anew.
Going forward if everyone puts when they say X, why, and Z working to addition to where they were working, a clear pattern will emerge.

Scooped up a rather large mixed (Latina / Black) girl the other morning near the old Bull. I think she said her name was Dolly, but I can't remember. Went to our spot for a BBBJ for. 3 - she was ok when she actually put it in her mouth and rolled her tongue around the tip, but it only happened for less than 10 seconds as she seemed to do the "I'll use my spit-covered hand and make it seem like I'm blowing you" move. Well, my trip in Philly was short, but great once again. I want to thank Gator145 for being courteous and welcoming me to town and guiding me on the K stroll. Met a few girls that did not disappoint. Carrie was the first one and was quite personable and easy to get along with. Got another one's name was Kristine I think or something like that and she was fun as well. My observation is that the K stroll is very busy compared to most except for a few others that get a lot of attention on this board. Definitely a lot to pick from if you are a newbie on the K stroll.

Hello and welcome to our forum. If you are as knowledgeable about Delaware as you say you are I don't see why you can't apply the same technique used there here. My suggestion would be to read the 22 rules for Street Mongering. Once you finish then read them again. The same rules that apply in Delaware apply here. You will then read the local forum here on what's going on, in, who, when, why and where. The forum will generally relate to the beaten path. Get yourself a local map from any tourist site, location or 7-11. Familiarize yourself with the areas being discussed. Find them on the map. Hell, I would think you could most likely print one on line. Venture out a little at a time till you know all the streets and shortcuts, hang outs etc. Once you have all that info imbedded in your horny head, remember this simple fact. You can pick up women anywhere there's a woman. They all play the game. Just some are more open about it than others. The stroll is just our little playground. Many of us get off the beaten path once in a while just to have some strange. I've picked up women at church, a bachelorette party and one time even at a funeral. So the world is your playground. Just understand that clearly and the rest will fall into place like it has KY on it. One very last thing and probably most important. Ask questions. The only dumb question is the one that hasn't been asked. There are a ton of very knowledgeable people here that will gladly share info with you as long as you respect what they are doing for you and you are willing to reciprocate. Thursday evening I spoke with Angela. As another monger had also said she is alive and well home in Allentown. She said she has 9 months clean and has given up the street life. Good for her.
She is also working and has a regular boyfriend. He is also recovering and has 19 months clean. We chatted for quite a while and she really seems happy and focused on the things she needs to do to maintain her sobriety. I wish her all the luck and support on this part of her journey. I know many here also have the same wishes for her. Although in the interest of her privacy I cannot say where or how I found her. I would be willing to relay any messages to her and if she is so inclined she will make contact with those she wishes. Sometimes we have really good days. Passing through Philly today, I decided to take a detour on K. Beth didn't answer when I called the digits she gave me last time. So I wondered around a little. A block away from the sev I came across Jenny, a skinny brunette with cornrows. I stopped along side her on K and sat for a moment until she approached. Haven't been put in a long time. Made the trip to the K and had a look around. This was around 1 PM. There were several options available out and about. I saw one WSW at K&A, we made eye contact and she started walking to the car while I was at the at the stop light. Unfortunately, it turned green and I had to pull off. I came back around and alas she was gone. Brunette, 5'4 ish with pink lipstick. Around a 7 on the Street scale. The picking were pretty good out there just didn't have the time to hook up. Maybe next time.

Was coming home late from work and was rolling up Lancaster with my windows down. I stop at a red light around 46th and Lancaster when a light skin BSW walks by. If you find that to be a bit drastic another suggestion would be to engage her for a "date" and get to your spot and give her a taste of her own meds so to speak. Just reverse the process. Don't give her what she wants but make sure you get what you want.
Until these girls understand we aren't going to take crap like this it will continue. It's up to each of us to either not patronize girls that do this stuff.
