I miss the old days of the SS. was a few years ago that one could go there and really find some hot 1 day over 18 year old girls. I remember quite a few. Never was really one to get a private dance. too much money for not enough action. At least consistently. however some would. Where else can you spend a dollar and get a show like that.
Back to CL as its more likely safer. However I watch all the streets when driving. Just keep an eye out for the HoDar to go off.

Checked out Jiggles Sunday night. $10 cover, includes a drink (but I don't drink).
Maybe 10 girls in all, mostly pretty, mostly sitting with guys.
One pretty young white girl ignored me when I strayed her way. Looking for someone richer-looking no doubt.
Sat down with Coco, light-skinned black girl with rather heavy makeup. Chatted a bit, though she was naturally focussed on making $$. Can be you believe she was thinking of voting for McCain because she was afraid if we left Iraq we'd get attacked again? I didn't say anything about that. The chain of lies is simply too long.
Anyway, I didn't let politics interfere with my core mission. They have $20 dances there.- a nice price, I thought, for what you get, which was full nudity and nice one-way mileage. Coco has a big soft butt.- I like that.- but I would have enjoyed bigger tits. Though she knew what to do with them. I left feeling much more relaxed. Mission accomplished.

Dropped by Sugar Shack and Chantilly Lace last Friday late. A few nice looking girls were getting dressed to leave, and the girls that were left weren't too great, maybe decent girls out of seven that were working.
Went over to Sugar Shack Two in Milwaukie. Only two girls but both were cute. 19 year old blonde Vanessa had a nice tan and was eager to please. A word of caution, her prices fluctuate widely, can be a big upseller. Good show, though.
Jiggles was a bit slow, and had 15 girls. It was a buyers market so the hot ones like Ali, Valentine and porsche were constantly busy. I stayed for a couple hours and was able to get a dance from one of my favorites. A buddy got a dance from Mulan, which he gave his best recommendation.
Stopped by for a quick look. At chantilly there were only two girls working. One was a latina nice body and seemed nice. Another was a Black girl. nice figure. did not stay
Went to the sugar shack. Saw Lexie who was dancing. she was nice and has a good bodie. did not show too much but it was ok. no one else worth mentioning. was kinda bummed out no one else was there. was hoping for some fresh 18 year old goodies

Pop-A-Top: Went in Halloween evening, only four girls were working, but three of them looked pretty good. Everyone seemed more into partying on the holiday than dancing or selling shows so I left.
Sugar Shack/Chantilly Lace: couple weeks ago I went in there on a Friday and there were several girls, three or four of them decent. The problem was that was was a lot of dancer drama, so all the girls were involved in that (screaming, a fight almost broke out). A very pretty young latina was dancing, but she only seemed to want to talk to the hispanic customers (who weren't at the stage tipping).
Jiggles: Lots of young new girls, most pretty cute. I stuck with my regulars. Best club for lap dances. Allie gave just an OK $100 VIP room dance (seemed distracted, not focused at the job at hand, usually much more exciting), Valentine had a decent VIP room dance, very affectionate and concerned that the customer was having a good time. Porsche was hot and gives a very sensual dance. Chardonnay, Halo and Mulan (sp? ) are also recommended for lap dances, all do them the right way. Not enough money in my pocket to enjoy all the pretty girls here (out of 15, probably only two should look for a new job).

The problem is that the quality and amount of girls varies wildly from visit to visit. I would recommend dropping by if in the area just to see if it might be a good night, but I'm not going out of my way. I've had some decent luck here in the past.
Its always hit and miss. I like to take friends there if the night is good. As its ussally a great place to see 18+ hard bodies. in the years ago it was hopping but gone down hill now. not sure were they went. Does anyone know where the hot girls that used to do the SS club moved to.

I have been seeing a few more girls on the side streets. 82 is still hot but the sidestreets are ok. Just takes longer to find a girl.

Has any one been to the new club on stark. Its about SE 170th or so. Next to the Cabarette II. its called Joeys . I have not been there but its a small place with signs out side that say Dancers or Girls. Just wondering whats up there as its small and cute.
Stopped by the club early tonight. was supprised at the quality of the girls. Its improved some. a few extra services could be had if you ask right. eve is one Marika is another. A few of the other girls looked new and were ok. Nice skinny ones also.
Stopped by a number of times on a weekday. First time around 12 and only two there and I only saw one dancer. I only do $35 dances and ask about nude and full touch. New dancer P, with puffies, said yes and gave a good dance.
Asked a cute petite Alayza and she said that was for shows.
Returned later in afternoon and a lot more there including a number of younger looking cute petites. Lu..., Ch..and All.. (black girl), all gave good dances. Final dance was with Ma... who had sorta small deflated boobs and flat but sorta saggy stomach (childbirth?). Best access of the day, wet.
Also stopped at P a T, which had an unusual amount to good lookers (for there) but only one approached me. We to the OZ for a $35. A blond Barbie type, who would not tell me her name, great dance although she nicked me a bit as she was ...

I know it’s a crap shoot when you go into that private room but I have only had one bad experience and the rest were well worth the money and a few I even gave a tip it was so fantastic. Like the others say YMMV I find treating the woman their like ladies goes a long was and remember don’t fall in love no matter how good it might be, and a few times it was unbelievable.

If we just tell them the "word" is out on them, and not mention the net, maybe we're better off to keep them from thinking all they have to do is change their name to assume a new identity to avoid further scrutiny. A little mystery as to the source of the "word" is likely in our favor.
Any other specific reports could be helpful though as we know this is often a YMMV hobby.

I got a dance from a Lucy which was as advertised. Sometimes there is more than one girl w/ the same name so a description of your Lucy would help. Also, names are easy to change, only a fairly good description will allow one to avoid.

Is this the Lucy with dark curly red hair and slight acne? I got a dance from her once but my gut told me no. I have had a few shows at the club in question I have only had one rip-off experience all the rest were good to fantastic. I would be better off if I did get ripped off more often it might cause me to chase dancers less. But in regard to a dancer getting her money then changing her story it’s a chance you take the first time I know its expensive but it’s the cost of the game. Let me know if this is the Lucy you talk about.
Side note: I haven’t had much time to visit the shack but their was a dancer that worked their months ago named Lorie an Asian short dark hair she was the sweetest one I meet their I have returned a number of times and have not seen her is she working their anymore or do any of you fellow mongers know ware she might be working.

ASHLEE, brunette, tall and skinny, Tattoo of her Pimp JO JO over left breast. She was butterying me up and I got a dance to see. She was grinding in the dance and she kept saying you should get a show and promised me all was accessible for the regular donation. I felt something wrong about her but over my better judgement I agreed and we went. As soon as I entered the room she said she had to go and get something and left. After 5 minutes passing she comes back and nothing was available and air dance. I told her I wanted my money back and she is a liar. She wouldn't give it back so, but magically the money was back in my wallet. That place is full of scammers and hood rats so watch you ass if you go the devils playground.

Not too busy when I showed up 9 pmish with tons of hotties for the picking. Buyers market, but I didn't get the name of the first lap dancer. She was o. K. In that grindy way, but I decided I could probably do better. Lelani was moving slower in couches than a lot of the other girls I noticed, and that's usually a good sign. She must have seen me spying on her, because she came right up to the Rooster and grabbed my thigh and asked if it was taken. She sampled nicely before we even went for the dance. First time posting, but hear me out. Went to Dillingers this weekend for a drink and a little fun. I wasn't too impressed initially. I was practically attacked when I walked in the door. Everyone pushing for a private show. $. 6 seemed a bit high for just 30 minutes. So I drank fast and headded down the hill. Not many customers but a LOT easier on the eyes. More like an 8 to a 10 compared to the 5s up at the bar. I wish I had the money for a show. Has anyone got one before? The girls seemed willing to please and friendly. I'll be back next weekend.

DDDShe doesn't upsell, but the cost for certain shows seem to fluctuate with each visit. Just be sure you both agree on everything before testing the water (this applies to all dancers in my experience, but particularly to V).

I truly appreciate your post. You've hit on the crux of the issue for both sides. I admire girls who state price and tips beforehand. Talk to me about additional charges ahead of time, and we've either got a deal ... or we don't. Fair enough?
A few months back I "thought" I had a deal with a girl. Things "came up" and there was a request for a slight additional tip. I was good with it, until I pulled my wallet out. She saw money I brought along to buy home repair supplies. "I see you've got a couple Benjamines in there. I really need a $60 tip!" I refused and she got pissey. I told her what they were for, and she said she had kids who needed shoes, and she needed more money. Well, that's a buzz-kill and the last time I'll see her. By they way, she only got the additional, agreed upon tip.
All this is to say that I understand about your needs, but that street runs both ways. I also understand you were not being rude; neither am I. We're just stating facts.
As a matter of fact, next time I'm in the area (probably buying house remodeling supplies:-)), I will try to meet you so we can discuss this further, perhaps behind closed doors.

As said, I’ll be going to Portland next month. I just don’t want to get “taken”. What is the cover charge for this club? How much are table dances? Are the table dances in bikini, topless, nude? (I don't know what the local laws are.) And if there are VIPs – how much are those? The info shared here helps prevent "fleecing".
Please offer suggestions if there are better clubs you might like to suggest.

Drove out to SS2 on a Tuesday night. Arrived there at 9pm and there were only two girls working there who were I'd say in the 4 or 5 scale. Unfortunately it seemed like the two girls posted by Lucky Girl weren't working that night (or maybe they worked an earlier shift).
I went next door to Dillingers and the quality of the girls there were even worse.
I drove out to SS on Killingsworth. Arrived there at 9:30pm. There were five girls working. One girl on stage was a 7, definitely doable, but there was a guy sitting on stage giving her a lot of attention and I didn't want to get in the way. The other four girls didn't really pay attention to me sitting there alone. They pretty much just sat at the juice bar talking to each other so I couldn't really see all of their faces. One of the girls that I did see looked ok, blonde, petite, maybe mid-20's, was already dressed to go home it seemed.
So I walked over next door to Chantilly Lace. There were six girls working there (and two in the backroom maybe ready to go home). One girl, a 5 or 6, walked over to me and asked if I'm looking for a show. I declined because I was eying one of two girls who were even cuter. I eventually was chatted up with a 7, blonde, mid-20's, she was friendly and her face was cute so I decide to do a show ($100 to the girl, $60 to the house). When I was paying the house fee, I finally got a close look at the other cute girl and found that she was very very cute. I was trying to figure out if there was any way I could switch to her for the show instead, but being a man of my word, I went with the original girl. (Had I brought more money, I may have asked I could have had both of them). She did give a good show though. I hope the other girl will be there next time so I could try her out.

Thanks in advance for the info.Jiggles: [been there only once] $15 cover. $20 per private/vip dance. Most all are young dancers. The one night I was there (a very late Thursday last November), two gals & dance routines were very good (i.e., one Asian gal & one Blond gal).
My other favorite spots around PDX:
Acropolis: used to frequent several years ago, but my favorites are gone.
-- Cover back then, was ~$5.
-- Been there about 20 times many years ago.
Exotica: good variety & ages of ladies.
-- Cover is ~$5. Been there too many times :)

I never pay more than $20 / per dance. I find more does not automatically make mileage sense, adnd just pay as you would like more.

Thanks in advance for the info.Jiggles is open from 3pm to 2am. There is a $10 cover before 9pm, and $15 after (this includes a non-alcoholic drink. Jiggles is a juice bar). Dancers here are younger, most in the 18-22 year old range. Most of my experience here has been during the 3-9 shift.
There are two stages, but only one is open before 9 pm. Girls only do one dance rotations. There usually is a minimum of 15 girls working each shift. $10 lap dances are done in the open along the wall on a long couch (some girls refuse to do $10 dances). $20 lap dances are done in very large, high sided chairs facing a mirrored wall and are more private. There is a curtained VIP room, 4 songs for $100, but usually the girl will ask you to also pay their $10 room fee. This is usually the most entertaining choice. Never seen a table dance here.
Dancers usually won't be nude if they are in contact with you physically, but will be nude otherwise. Really depends on the girl. They always will be topless.

Pretty busy on a Friday early evening, with mostly decent or cute girls. Didn't see any dogs tonight. Sugar Shack next door was busy also. Did a nice show with Secret, no upselling involved. Parking lot and clubs were full. It also seemed that the club looked a little less run-down, but maybe its just me not being here for so long.

A friend runs a club and they said that the cops and undercovers were in the clubs at 12:01 on Jan 1 in the am to write tickets if someone was smoking in the club. Now that is our asshole govement at work. He said it was hard to get 125 people to quit smoking on new years eve. Come on . Cannot they go catch the druggies and crack heads that are stealing eveything.

The economy seems to hitting hard at the clubs. One othe girls said business was down 50% here, although there seemed to be lots of young, pretty girls here. The economy must be influencing their dances, because I got dances from all new girls (none of my fav's were there; another bad sign? ), and all the dances involved some mutual touching. Another piece of interesting news. I know some people are fans of blond Emma at the Dolphin, now she is Amber at Jiggles (and boy, are her dances way better here!)

I hit Jiggles in the afternoon. Just one of my regulars (Ally) and bunches of new girls. Faith has a wonderful body (reminds me of a younger, taller Heaven), and is very affectionate in her dances, especially in the VIP. Raven was a tanned, brunette with a smoking body, and gave a good basic lap dance. She usually works the 9 Pm shift and was working a double that day. Amber, Tasha, Ally and Coco all seem fairly popular. I actually stayed until the night shift started. Aubrey was there, and was still attractive, but seem to put on some weight since the last time I sae her. I can't say the girls are any more attractive at night, but the place gets crowded with under 21 guys wearing their hoodies and baseball caps. Remember this is just a juice bar, and as always, YMMV.
My next stop was Dillingers, and it was disappointing. There were a few customers there, but none of the girls rated above a 5. One was pregnant, and the others looked old. Most of the customers were at the poker machines, and most of the girls were just sitting at the bar.
Sugar Shack Too (across the parking lot from Dillingers) was dead when I first arived, but just got packed around 10 pm. There were five girls, and three of them were 7's or better. I didn't see either of the girls that have posted their photo here. This is a juice bar, so the dancers and most of the customers were under 21. I just tipped the stage, and did not get a dance or a show.

Made a Friday afternoon stop at Jiggles in Tualatin. 21 very attractive dancers (including the super hot Porsche, who now is a redhead). Ally, Amber (formerly Emma at Dolphin), Halo, Faith and Coco all were popular, Porsche seemed to spend all her time with one customer, so I didn't get a dance from her. Speaking of customers, there weren't very many in the afternoon, so some of the girls left. I had dances from Faith, Ally, Coco and Amber (all who know how to do a lap dance with the right amount of contact), but I didn't go for a VIP this time (not enough cash for all these girls).
I dropped by the Dillingers/Sugar Shack 2 complex in Milwaukie later that evening. Nothing worthwhile at Dillingers, but SS2 had several nice looking younger girls (but still no girls from the picture in the earlier posting). The bartender (? , SS2 is a juice bar), is also a dancer on other nights. I can't remember her name, but she is a petite blonde that doesn't upsell her shows.

I think you are asking a bit much for full disclosure. But times being what there are you can pretty much assure yourself a good time at any of the Juice Bars.
Sugar Shack I and II get coverage here. Read and ye shall find some nuggets of info.
I myself reported about a good time could be found with a Carnaval dancer.
The girls willing to date are pretty easy to spot. Hit the spots at shift change or closing. I have had more luck going in on a slow night when management has gone home and left a lowly bartender in charge. The girls are bored and many will welcome any diversion that will put some bucks in their pocket.
These places are hardly high-class, but the value for your money can't be beat.

Welcome to Portland . Sugar shack off killingsworth is a nice club but hit amd miss on the quality of the girls. If you treat them right you might have luck and get one to come back to the hotel with you. CL is also good. The street are dead out mostly. Vice has been active alot lately. Remember that any girl walking with no purpose in the direction she is going is working. Carnival is good downtown. Not sure about the others. I would stay away from the Jack shacks. its a no touch kind of pleasure your self thing
Any of the other clubs where they offer private dances and closed off areas are good. Ask a girl if she would rather have all the money to her self rather than give the percentage to the house.

All had nasty scars that were either from a gunshot wound or pregnancy and two prego chicks working. You have a choice between the crackhead skinny hooker or the fat cottage cheese ass thing. This place was fun and gave good entertainment 4 to 5 years ago, but has gone down hill ever since from the pimps and scammers. I am surprised this place has not got raided by the cops yet since the bathroom sinks and toilets have cocaine dust on them and you walk near the womens bathroom and they all smell like dope or crack. No wonder they were complaining about not having any customers, get a clue. Stay away from SS1 on Killingsworth cus it is starting to live up to its name.

pimps and drugs are prevalent in all of them. carnaval is in downtown right near crack alley, it goes with the territory. ss2 is a out a bit away from the drug scene. but you are going to find drugs in all of them.
the girls are all the same too. these are **** places, so the girls start at the clubs attractive and after a couple years working in this environment they are used to the anything goes atmosphere. time takes their toll. they can't drink in the club, so they snort, smoke, and eat their time away. crackhead skinny hookers, prego dancers, cottage cheese asses...you are describing girls that could be working at any of the three clubs. never quite understood why jiggles is so much better, but the girls there seem more together.

I didn't stay long enough to get all of your intel, but I believe every word of it. Half nakked wimmin creeped me out here, and that's only come close to Dillinger's a few years ago. Yikes! The place and those who I saw hanging there were just plain gross.

Ss1 was the first of its kind. A jack shack in a club environment. A place where you could go watch a girl gyrate on stage and take her into a closed room and have a good time. That was eight or so years ago.
Today the place is the same. There are some of the same girls that opened the place still there. Why? Because they are comfortable there. There are multiple places to do shows, space to keep a distance from a stalker customer or BF, space to hide and get your high on for the night.
Management doesn't care. They are making all sorts of money. Why spend money on stages, carpet, decorations, or anything else? We go there for 20 minutes, get our nuts off and leave. It doesn't make sense.
These type of girls try to leave, but when they get to a real club they implode. The management won't let them do drugs, date customers, or come and go as they please. The "shack type" clubs allow this because that is the only way that they can get girls to do the things that they do.
They have new girls all the time, but they don't last. To make money there you need to hustle.
SS is still my favorite. You can get everything done on your lunch hour. I haven't tried out a new girl for quite awhile though.

With out naming places or people because of the ever present uncle LEo. I think some insight to consider right now.
I think these businesses are suffering right now. Some of it has to do with the economy, some of it has to do with changes in smoking laws which affect video lottery revenue.
These places are probably struggling to stay open, so dropping money on improvements is not going to happen anytime soon, especially with places ready to close.
I think that the quality pool is going down because it is harder to make it in the industry right now, so people with other options go that route. So in some ways what we are seeing is the people with no options but to work.
Consider your timing as your best chances and value occur at the end of the month when they will need the money to pay the bills. Bad economy benefits the customer during the end of the month.
Try to come at the end of the shift. This is the point that they might try to make up for a slow shift and/or they are the most intoxicated.
Always be cautious when there is an element of intimidation or pushiness. Always walk away, standing and talking will often only escalate the situation and spoil the experience. Remember when you are dealing with someone under the influence of substances you are the one that has the better judgment, logic, patience, and decision making skills.
Use them and stay safe.

Went to the Riverside in Umatilla, OR about noon (OK, so it's not a Portland posting). The restaraunt/bar was open but the bartender said the girls didn't start dancing until 6 pm. The bartender (Aleah? ) was a cutie, and took me to the strip club portion of the building, which also has its own bar. Everything was clean and the whole place looked recently remodeled. Aleah said the girls come from Portland, Bend and the Tri-Cities to dance here. There are two stages, a VIP area and a lap dance area (which she said were real lap dances, not Portland 'air-dances'). Made a quick stop in Gresham off Burnside. Just two girls and they both were about a six, one blonde and one asian. I stayed just long enough to lose a couple bucks playing video poker. I can't recommend this as a regular stop.
Just a few customers. Interesting looking club with concrete floors, smaller inside than it looks from the outside, with parking away from the road. Three small stages, with tables around the walls for patrons. There is a private dance area in one corner closed off by beaded curtains, but no-one used it while I was there. The club was very clean.

Made a Friday cruise over to Jiggles Friday afternoon. When I first got there there were quite a few customers, but by 5ish there were only a few. Lots of girls, most were very good loking and young. Pretty good description of the club. Though SS1 8 years ago was still an ugly looking club. The girls at Carnaval are hot for sure.
The shows are all watched. The batrtender monitors them from behind the bar. That is why I don't get my shows there. Also at the end of your "fun time", he knocks on the door and yells "times up". So along with the fact that there is a guy watching you pull your junk, a knock on the door that your time is up, you also have the experience of opening the door and having the customers see who was having fun.
I haven't been in there for a month or so, but I still hold to my idea of having fun out of the club. The economy is getting to the girls as much as it is to us. My fun out of the club cost me not much more than the cost of a show. And I had nobody filming it. Remember that Uncle Leo will be able to watch all the stuff they have if there is ever any problem at the club.

Hmm. The last time I patronized one of these fine (sic) establishments, perhaps 6-9 weeks ago, when the girl was booking the show room she was given something unique to sign. It wasn't the normal boilerplate form. It was in big letters and it had explicit directions (some of which I read as she read it) about what she could not do. She was reluctant to sign and looked at the guy with obvious questions. Perhaps they knew this was coming down the pike. BTW, I received a good show, not stellar, but good.

I really miss SS from back in the early 2000's. Remember when they actually had busy nights with lots of customers and a great selection of hot dancers? I have not been in Portland for a while and things seemed to have changed a lot. I did read the reports. A couple of nights ago I decided to check it out myself. I went into SS and the only person there was a guy playing video games. Hit the Pop last week to check it out since the changes went into effect. Saw a couple of girls who I would consider a show from, but of course, they couldn't trek across the parking lot. ChrisCost of a "show" at SS is 60 to the house, 100 to the girl. Depends on the girl, but if you read the threads you can pretty much figure out what happens at the shack.
Carnaval is pretty much the same thing. EXCEPT, the shows are all viewed and taped.
Much larger selection of girls at Carnaval though. If you have the money, you have a good chance of getting a hottie to work off the clock. Be nice, hit the place late at night when the girls are bored. If you want to take one home, do not get a show from them, explain that you have the money but want to spend it wisely. $200 worked for me a couple of times with on one little hottie regular.

A little background- I've been frequenting the Pop-A-Top since the mid-seventies. It was one of the first nude clubs in the Portland area along with Mary's, The Calico Cat, and Off-Broadway. I believe it was the first club in town to go bottomless.
At that time it went by another name, which momentarily escapes me, but it was a rowdy joint to be sure. It was only half the size it is now, and shared the building with a chopper shop. Did I mention it was rowdy?! Those were the days. The Oh Zone was just a garage full of shit at that time.
So anyways I trek on out there to see what's up. I couldn't believe there were no more shows available from the dancers. Well... there ain't. One of my favs was still there and explained why. According to her, LE paid them a visit or two. So, to preserve the PAT business, and maintain a liquor (and lick-her) license, the two businesses had to be separated.
This meant that the dancers could no longer take customers out back, and the Oh Zone models could no solicit customers from the bar. Hence- no back and forth. Damn shame!
She (my fav) by the way has been there over ten years. She's getting a little long in the tooth, but still hot to me. She told me she just likes to dance, and can stand the loss of "other" income. Another fav of mine is no longer there.
Did I go into the Oh Zone to check it out. Nope. I like to sit with a beer and watch the girls dance before going for a show. Well they fucked that up for me. Bastards! I never liked the Oh Zone models.

This report takes place over a couple of months.
Tried SS and CL about a month ago. CL had two OK looking girls, both regulars and shows could be had. SS had two girls, not so good looking. This was at 7:30 on a Friday and there were only two other customers. Not looking promising for the survival of this place. The doors are on the rooms at CL.
I have also made the trip to Dillingers/SS2 in Milwaukie. This was a Saturday night about 8ish. Dillingers had no customers, no dancers, and only the bartender was there. SS2 had several girls and customers, including Vanessa who has posted in this forum before and is quite the cute little spinner. Shows were available here also. The doors are still on the rooms.

Used to frequent the SS/CL. The $0.2 dances were well worth the visit, and usually for just another $0.2 tip. Visited a couple weeks ago and was told no more dances. Shows only. For those of us on a limited budget, this effectively killed the whole experience.
Well since my old club (Pop-A-Top) took a dump on me I'm doing a little visiting of other places.
Of course I can't go downtown without visiting the Magic Gardens. I've been doing this one for years and I like the intimacy of the old dump. There ain't no shows, and the laps are just so-so. But there are some really hot girls there- at least in my eyes. Real friendly joint I think. Being a regular and known there might help, but it still hasn't gotten me any takeout.
After leaving the Gardens I decided to see what Spyce was all about. It's a new club that just opened. It's on the corner of 2nd and Couch. Since it's new (and upscale) it's very nice. And the prices reflect that! Damn- $7.00 for a rum and coke? Between the two drinks I had, and two bought for the lady, one dance, and tips- the tab was $80 something.
There's some very hot looking girls there. I had a dance in a not too private area away from the main stage. A decent dance, but certainly not mind-numbing or satisfying. I don't believe there's anyway the dances will be any hotter. I do think take-out is available. The one gal I sat with was not off-put when I asked. Just kinda rolled her eyes and smiled. I didn't take that as a "no." I was really in no condition to do anything about it- either monetarily, or sobriety wise, so I chalked it up for future consideration.
I think it's a nice place to visit and check out, but I probably won't be going back. Too rich for my blood.

Last weekend I spent a little time in Portland, hitting some strip clubs and doing some "reconnaissance work" with a buddy. I don't know of any other clubs and you are right Sugar Shack has gone way down hill. There is another SS not anywhere near the airport, but right next to Dillinger's I have not been to in may months if not years. I have heard little mention of it so imagine it's as bad as the other one and it is far from the airport. I wish I could be more encouraging.

So the moral of this tale is... there's still lovin' to be had. It's just that we have to expect some changes in how we go about it, at least at the strip club level. I've been mongering in Portland since the mid-seventies, and I can tell you some really good stories about times in Frolics (and other venues), but I can tell you this... Frolics is not a brothel with a guarantee. I recognized this right off the bat, and took what fun out of their MO I could. It was all good.
I've been mongering since the 60's in over half the states in this country, and a few foreign countries. I learned that there were no guarantees. We didn't have the advantage of the communication system we have now, but we still had a network of sorts. The "inter-mess" doesn't make it any better- just quicker.

So I haven't posted anything really useful here before but I am up in the area again and happened to swing by a couple of places. Figured I lurk enough I should probably make myself a useful member of society.
First swung by the pop-a-top/oh zone/landing strip, whatever it is now. Oh zone had one girl, she had just started a show so I swung by across the lot to see what was going on there. You can tell they are still working on it, it needs a lot of work, but there was a pretty good crowd. Girls weren't bad, but all pre-occupied. First disappointing visit to Jiggles in a long time. First visit in about a month and I quickly learned my previous fav no longer worked there. No one would talk about it in detail only to say they were sorry she was gone but reading between the lines it was clear she had been fired for breaking the no touch rules. Mileage was definitely off limits, the bartender was actually patrolling the lapdance areas which I've never seen in the daytime. I got my hands slapped by her for having them above the dancer's knee. That has never ever happened during the day shift before. I don't know if they got a warning from the local LE or if they are just being overly cautious but it sucked the fun right out of my visit.

Stopped by in early afternoon on weekday. SS had 4 dancers listed on the board but no one on stage so I went to CL. First dancer was a petite cutey named Diamond. After her 2 song set she left without asking if I wanted a dance or show. Then another okay danced and then a petite brunette named Alasay (sp?). SS is closed after 7 so just CL after that. not 100% on the time but somewhere around that.
SS-CL and all the other clubs controlled by this group seem to be going downhill. There was a time when the trip to NE Portland was worth it. I've not seen that lately, especially since the PAT and Oh Zone were separated.
What does that say about the industry- the effects of law enforcement- and/or the economy? I don't know what has caused the changes out near the airport, but I can tell you I am not spending time and dollars to find out.
Ponder this... even though the SS/CL complex isn't in the "best selling" neighborhood around- it's still a lot of dirt. That can't be that fucking cheap-to-keep. Hmmm... They ain't paying for it with $5 Cokes and the occasional "room rental." What gives?
I'm probably not gonna venture up there anymore. I'm totally content in other clubs where I know I can get a smile and a dance with some attitude even though it going any further than a "dance." I like to walk in where folks know my name, know what I drink(and pour it when they see me walk in), and provide good service. I like consistency in the staff. I like an establishment that can keep a dancer around for a while.
I know- I ain't getting laid there (how do you know?) but it's a lot more fun to hang when the service/attitude is good. I can get laid anywhere, anytime, and the bucks (if I'm paying) are actually less that the "show" dances at our past favorite clubs.

Having been in Portland, OR for the last couple of months, my buddy takes leave for warmer climates; but not before leaving his thoughts about the scene.
Though his time was limited, he related that he had a great time at the two strip clubs that he visited, and the UTR that he met at the Hilton's Porto Terra Bar - that account of the UTR can be found in Portland, OR's "General" thread.
For the locals, the strip club information may be redundant, but for the world-weary traveller, it may be useful. Since he didn't have a car, the two clubs that he visited are within walking distance of his hotel. The first club that he experienced was "Mary's Club" near the corner of SE Broadway and Burnside. When he called the club for information, the woman mentioned that this club was mentioned in an episode of HBO's "Entourage"....so on that basis alone he decided to check it out.
"Mary's Club" is a very small club - dark, with a "salt of the earth" class of clientele, but friendly. The staff of one; bartender; was very polite, and there was a good selection of beers and liquor. Since he doesn't drink beer, that opinion of selection should not be taken literally. There were only three (3) entertainers with various degrees of attractiveness. When he asked the bartender if there were any more entertainers, she said no, there are usually two to three per shift. The stage show consisted of three songs; no DJ but a jukebox for which the entertainers solicited the customers for funding. The entertainer progressed to various levels of undress, until the final song where they shone with all the gifts that God gave woman!!!
He visited Mary's about four times, and spent some one-on-one time with "Vive". Nothing to get worked over, and an "underwhelming experience" he said - YMMV. Though, he did have a nice connection with a dancer/contortionist name "Blaze(r)?", but didn't partake. Nice paint, very well built, attractive, and extremely flexible!!!
The second club that he frequented was "Club Rouge" at the corner of SW 4th Ave. and SW Stark St. Upscale gentlemen's club with a great selection of liquor, beer, and food. The majority seemed to be 20-somethings, with the occasional mature entertainer.
He did find it interesting that the under-ages' are sequestered in a corner of the club, and are not allowed to roam the club due to the availability of alcohol - though none of them interested him.
He did partake of entertainment there with a comely slender brunette with a slight accent. He related that she provided entertainment with a satisfactory conclusion in the curtained private area. In addition to the curtained private area, there is a "bottle" room upstairs which offers a more intimate setting.
Went to the new STARZ club in bridgeport. 1 exit north of jiggles, across from 24 hour fitness. Wanted to watch Monday nightn football. Had some quality girls, nothing special, but nice. Seemed to be more customers playing Texas holdem than paying attention to the girls. Free prime rib on mondays. Just another club in a town with too many clubs, and not enough girls. It will do good. Lake Oswego? It should do very well.

Well, I went to Spyce the other night and it was way better than the reviews that were on here. After about 10pm they have two girls on one stage, they have a total of 4 stages, three bars, two levels, two VIP lounges and a Champagne Room. The lap dances are in a private setting, they run $25 a song and I was a little hesitant at first because that is a pretty steep price, but you get what you pay for I took Amber into the back for a 1/2 hour and really wish I would have just gotten the hour for $450. Fantastic time I will definetly be going back. I believe she works the weekend shifts, forgot to ask for sure. I would recommend getting to know her. Have a great weekend everyone!

If you are downtown I would try carnival or Rouge. For an interesting time. Union Jacks across the burnside bridge has good intertainment . Just now what you are looking for.

I did go in there a while ago. Thought there was a place called the Back Swing tavern. Its up 60th or so from the Sugar Shack. I did not see anything worth saying its got hi quality girls. Then again maybe that is the standard for that area of town

I would have to suggest adding Spyce to your list of clubs to hit on your run! They have three stages, lots of girls (40 a night) three bars and a little private area. Federal agents raided at least six strip clubs and four homes Thursday morning but why they were targeted still remains a mystery.
PORTLAND, Ore. - Federal agents raided at least six strip clubs and four homes Thursday morning but why they were targeted still remains a mystery.
IRS agents, assisted by Oregon State Police, hit Tommy’s Too and five other clubs owned by two brothers. One of the brothers confirmed the homes were raided.
Special agent in charge Dan Wardlaw from the IRS’s criminal division wouldn’t confirm anything but that the raid on Tommy’s had happened.
He also declined to say why the agency raided Tommy’s and the owner, Craig Desmarais, said it’s a mystery to him why his businesses were hit.
Less than an hour later, Wardlaw was at two more businesses on Northeast Killingsworth, The Sugar Shack and Video Visions Lingerie Modeling shop. Both are owned by the Desmaraises.
Secret Service and Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms agents were involved in the raid of the two businesses, and a locksmith worked to open a safe inside one of them.
Not far away Desmarais’s brother, Marc, said he came to clean two other shops, the Landing Strip and the Oh Zone owned by his other brother Mace, when he was met by federal agents.
Marc said the agents pulled out gaming machines, money, and boxes of paperwork. Additionally, a hard drive was observed being taken out of the Landing Strip.
The Dillingers in Clackamas County, an adult business and owned by the Desmarais brothers was also raided.
While the IRS won’t say why it raided the businesses, its website says that its criminal investigation division investigates allegations of money laundering, tax fraud and violations of banking secrecy laws.
No one has been charged yet in connection with any of the raids.
I heard from one of the dancers that Sugar Shack has reopened. I haven't been by, but probably the other places are reopened, too.
My dancer friend said it was some "tax thing" that was taken care of and assured me all was back to normal.
SS & CL are open, but Sugar Shack Too and Dillinger's on McLoughlin are closed. This makes me nervous. Could LE be collecting surveillance for a sting? What other clubs have the same owners?
i doubt its a sting. Just the economy and over saturated strip clubs in Portland.

The high mileage clubs in Seattle were also closed down by the Feds. I forget the details but it was also side issues like money laundering. I could probably find the exact reasons if I dug around or people can check out the Seattle board for it. 5 clubs closed and nothing near Seattle is as high mileage.
Anybody got info on this place...It opened in the spring and has chanced hands more that once..I drive past every so often and wonder if any of you other mongers have checked it out!..
I'll be visiting Portland from New England in a few weeks, so thought I'd check the SC scene out there. Damn! On another site (TUSC you know the rest...) there are FIFTY FIVE clubs listed!! Throw in Tualatin and Beaverton and it totals 61. Amazing, I doubt there are that many in NYC.
So, are there any recommendations out there as to the best, high mileage clubs within 30 or so miles of Portland? Some suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Union Jacks and Sassy's are definitely good bets. Devil's Point has an odd schedule, I think, and is really small, but wouldn't be a bad choice. It's Portland, though, so they're everywhere.

generally true. there used to be one on mcloughlin blvd in milwaukie (executive tan & cuts) in a strip mall south from dillinger's where you could get full service. no ****d girls and all around pleasant staff. the more high milage joints have been shut down as our politicians figure it's more important to waste police resources on prostitution than on drug or violent crime. once this joint was busted, some of the girls moved to sheer sensations on 82nd. they left and last time i went it was strictly self-service and a huge up sell.

Well, all I can say based on recent experience is the private dances@DJs (NE Prescott & Cully) , depending on the girl, are all out and I do mean all out. However, they have a gangsta clientele and the gals want $200 more to go upstairs to the ultra-private studio. My recommendation is to stick with the downstairs private dances (near the bar) and save your $$ for someone who might follow you home. Just sayin'!
