Call the DA's number, explain you couldn't hear the offer, didn't want to agree to something you weren't sure about hearing correctly, you're not a 'regular' to the system, and is it too late to accept the community service offer?
Then, stop doing car dates.
Go to the clean, safe, $25/2hr rooming house.

I have to agree, everything here does not add up. usually one is informed at the time of being taken into custody what the charges might be. UC female LE usually don't make the first move, they usually act like they are strolling and let the stupid monger incriminate himself. and if it were a genuine SW working with LE, that just doesn't sound right either.
I suppose they might keep an eye on a known SW and follow whatever vehicle they get into, but there is no law against giving a poor girl a ride and stopping to chat.
Another thing to raise the eyebrows a little - no other posts by this individual.

Actually, I have known several people that were transported to court on the same day for a misdemeanor arrest. However, from what was written it doesn't sound likely that they would have (or legally could have) made an arrest. Under Mass law misdemeanor offenses must be committed in an officer's presence in order for them to make an arrest (shoplifting being the only exception). So in order for them to legally make an arrest under Mass law, they would have had to overhear the agreement to pay for sex, or witness the exchange of money and the sex act. Both of which are very unlikely. What is typically done in these situations, is that the officer's will swear out a criminal complaint, which will then result in the suspect(s) being summoned into a hearing before a criminal clerk to determine whether or not there is sufficient evidence to proceed with a criminal charge. If they go forward with a criminal charge, then you will be given another court date and have an arraignment before a judge.

As a fellow photographer, I feel your pain. I had a similar thing happen to me back a few years ago. Luckily in my situation, it was an older camera that I was planning on replacing soon anyway. But it still hurt.
Chances are your stuff was gone 20 minutes after she took off with it. Probably ran straight to the nearest dealer and traded it for about 25% of what it was worth. If you're lucky it ended up in a pawn shop. If you're really lucky, you recorded the serial numbers. Report it stolen to the police, and you may have a chance of getting it back. I wouldn't suggest telling them the whole story though. Just say you left it on the back seat of your car, and you must have accidentally left the doors unlocked.
If you want to PM me model numbers and specifics, I have a friend who knows a couple people in the area who may have ended up with it. You'll probably have to pay to get it back if they have it though.

Big change from my report last night. Same time (11:30) I counted 13 sw's. 4 wsw's between Hess & Rite Aid and 9 w,b, & hsw between Sunoco & Fields Corner. A few of them looked kinda good. I don't know if it's the good weather or the end of the month but they are out there.

If you are not choosy, you should be able to find one or more SWs along your flight path during any 3-hour period. Hank cruises these routes, and per his reports, he finds SWs during the 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM time frame.
Here are my suggestions for optimizing your search:
1. Flight Plan: Delay your departure until the early evening. The action picks up as the night goes on.
2. Instrumentation: Calibrate your hodar and altimeter
3. Practice your approach and landing
During the day, you might unexpectedly find a non-pro willing to seize the opportunity to make a quick $30-$50…

Met up with Bonnie, around 1AM on Dot ave close to the convienence store over there. My success has been due to the contributions of others here. Be kind and reciprocate thats all that should be expected. There is such an amazing change at the first of the month. I was out early Sunday morning and had multiple choices on a small stretch of Dot. The last two nights I've cruised Dot, BHA, Harrison, Chelsea and its been all ghost town. I'm wondering if I should even try tonight.
I've been watching BHA/Dot Ave and/Dudley Street pretty close over the past three weeks. The "boys in blue" pulled a sting at the corner of Dearborn and Eustis St. Monday night between 10PM-12AM. Had a little time to kill yesterday afternoon before heading north on the T to meet a friend for some late afternoon cocktails. Thought I would check out the bus waiting area at the Haymarket T before. It was around 1pm and their were a few down and outers that I suppose one might take a shot at in a pinch. All were on a 2-3 scale at best. Not even sure if they were working. Then after a 10 minutes of hanging out a younger (20-25?) year old with shoulder lenght redish blonde hair appears. Drove around on Friday evening from 11:30 pm to 2am. Started at Pine Street Inn and Harrison...down Albany, Mass Ave, Washington. Saw a number of wsw types. I headed down W Fourth and up Dot Ave. Nothing around northern area. Outside is one of my favorite places to be. Picked up a nice girl north of Boston. That's a good point, I'm so used to doing it I didn't even think to mention it. The other thing I suggest is manually setting your ISO, higher settings or auto tend to result in poor quality pics with the smaller sensors used in most point and shoot cameras. I usually keep my ISO set at 50 for this kind of work. If I let the camera set it automatically, it will often default to 200 or 400.

Any tips to snagging the first SW?I know being new to it might seem difficult to tell at first but you really get an eye for it after a while. It's really waaaaay easier than you think. If you suspect that a girl is a SW all you have to do is pull over a few car lengths in front of her so she has time to walk by your car. If she's a SW she'll be looking at you as she walks by all you have to do is wave and she will literally hop right in. It's really that simple. If it's a busy street another thing you can do is go down a side street. This is great because you can tell she's a SW right away simply by the fact that she will follow you down the street.
