I had a crazy good visit with Jaylynn yesterday it was my second visit since her return. She's the same fun loving girl she ever was. I don't now the details of the other person's allegations, but I can say I'd have no concerns about safety with her.First, I want to preface this by stating that I am NOT a mean-spirited, vengeful person by any means. In fact, I'm quite good-natured, light-hearted and easy-going. And that good nature was taken advantage of. This experience has REALLY brought out my dark side. And you know what? I really don't like that side of me. That's NOT me. But, people keep asking for the details, so even though, despite seeing a cyclic pattern of cash-and-dash followed by periods of good behavior, I know no one's going to believe it, here go the details everyone's so curious about anyway:
I was robbed at gunpoint on NYE at 10:30 in the morning. I entered the house, she gave me a hug and asked how I was doing, acting ever the sweetheart right up to the last second. I excused myself to the bathroom, she went to the bedroom. Two males emerged from the shadows. A tall one and a heavyset one wielding a shotgun. I was told to put my hands on my head and turn around. The tall one (whom I strongly suspect is pimping her out, and makes me wonder if she is, in fact, doing this voluntarily) took my wallet, car keys, and phone (I didn't have a burner because based on previous experiences, I didn't feel the need). Then I was told to go to the bathroom, sit on the toilet and look at the ground. There was a crew working on her gas lines at that time. The tall one, in front of that entire crew, went to my car and stole 2 GPS systems. I heard her talking with them, and I could hear a smile in her voice as she was. She KNEW those guys. While I didn't hear much, I do remember hearing "The man says he wants us to hold him a little longer". And I definitely remember hearing her say "Did he say we could let him go yet". When I was finally let go, I was given back my wallet, minus $580 cash, 2 gift cards and an ID badge from my previous employer (I was getting ready to move and start another job in the New Year and, as I'm a bit of a pack-rat, kept it as a souvenier. Hell, I still have a fueling card from one of my old trucking jobs). I was told to walk calmly to my car, don't tip anybody off, and don't go to the police. (Well, DUH!) Not taken (amazingly) from my car were my MP3 player and my magnetic-mount rooftop emergency light.
Even if I COULD go to the police, it would be hard to prove what happened. But it would be pretty easy (with some investigation) to counter any lie they might tell about it afterward.
But let's say, in an ideal world I could file a report and prove my side beyond any shadow of a reasonable doubt. She could be charged with: being an accessory to the commission of class be felony armed robbery, conspiracy to commit class be felony armed robbery, class be felony criminal confinement, and possibly child endangerment.
Now, I don't KNOW if there were any children in the house at the time. But what if there were? And what if I decided to try and defend myself and the gun went off and shot through a wall, floor or ceiling and struck a child? There was little I could do because even if I did successfully defend myself, it would have looked like a home invasion gone wrong.
All I can do is wait for Karma to catch up with them.
Karma once broke someone's leg for me without me asking. Okay, I did think to myself "I hope you break a leg", and it happened the same day. (kinda freaked me out a little, to be honest) What that person did to me wasn't 1% as bad as my NYE experience, so I imagine a little more time is needed on this one.
I actually am conflicted about it. There is the dark side of me that would absolutely relish in the revelation that retribution had been realized. The other side of me does hope she manages to escape the trap she's currently in (or that I strongly suspect she's currently in) and distance herself from criminal lowlifes and get her act together.

And no, I never thought of myself as anyone special, I am quite well aware of the reality of the situation. But the two that I stated I do trust, I still stand by that statement. One has been in way too long. If she was going to go bad, she would have done it long ago. The other is way too smart, professional and thus far appears to be quite mentally stable. (quite frankly, she's one of the smartest people I've ever met, in the hobby OR IRL).
As for Jaylynn: I will admit I was CONSTANTLY pissed off about it for about the first 4 weeks after my incident. But when I finally started calming down, and based on things others have said, I began to wonder if, like you said, she hooked up with the wrong people somewhere down the line. I really do think this is the case. Again, I know I'm nobody special, but if this IS the case, and she would have maybe somehow hinted it to me, I might have asked if there was any way I could have helped. There might not have been, I don't know, but that ship has sailed now.

Before I report on my experience, I will provide a little background on me. I was a senior member here for a long time, and a well respected member on NR and ESC.com. I have been in this hobby for a while. Due to personal reasons I cancelled my membership in January and went into silent mode. First, I want to preface this by stating that I am NOT a mean-spirited, vengeful person by any means. In fact, I'm quite good-natured, light-hearted and easy-going. And that good nature was taken advantage of. This experience has REALLY brought out my dark side. And you know what? I really don't like that side of me. That's NOT me. But, people keep asking for the details, so even though, despite seeing a cyclic pattern of cash-and-dash followed by periods of good behavior, I know no one's going to believe it, here go the details everyone's so curious about anyway:
I was robbed at gunpoint on NYE at 10:30 in the morning. I entered the house, she gave me a hug and asked how I was doing, acting ever the sweetheart right up to the last second. I excused myself to the bathroom, she went to the bedroom. Two males emerged from the shadows. A tall one and a heavyset one wielding a shotgun. I was told to put my hands on my head and turn around. The tall one (whom I strongly suspect is pimping her out, and makes me wonder if she is, in fact, doing this voluntarily) took my wallet, car keys, and phone (I didn't have a burner because based on previous experiences, I didn't feel the need). Then I was told to go to the bathroom, sit on the toilet and look at the ground. There was a crew working on her gas lines at that time. The tall one, in front of that entire crew, went to my car and stole 2 GPS systems. I heard her talking with them, and I could hear a smile in her voice as she was. She KNEW those guys. While I didn't hear much, I do remember hearing "The man says he wants us to hold him a little longer". And I definitely remember hearing her say "Did he say we could let him go yet". When I was finally let go, I was given back my wallet, minus $580 cash, 2 gift cards and an ID badge from my previous employer (I was getting ready to move and start another job in the New Year and, as I'm a bit of a pack-rat, kept it as a souvenier. Hell, I still have a fueling card from one of my old trucking jobs). I was told to walk calmly to my car, don't tip anybody off, and don't go to the police. (Well, DUH!) Not taken (amazingly) from my car were my MP3 player and my magnetic-mount rooftop emergency light.
Even if I COULD go to the police, it would be hard to prove what happened. But it would be pretty easy (with some investigation) to counter any lie they might tell about it afterward.
But let's say, in an ideal world I could file a report and prove my side beyond any shadow of a reasonable doubt. She could be charged with: being an accessory to the commission of class be felony armed robbery, conspiracy to commit class be felony armed robbery, class be felony criminal confinement, and possibly child endangerment.
Now, I don't KNOW if there were any children in the house at the time. But what if there were? And what if I decided to try and defend myself and the gun went off and shot through a wall, floor or ceiling and struck a child? There was little I could do because even if I did successfully defend myself, it would have looked like a home invasion gone wrong.
All I can do is wait for Karma to catch up with them.
Karma once broke someone's leg for me without me asking. Okay, I did think to myself "I hope you break a leg", and it happened the same day. (kinda freaked me out a little, to be honest) What that person did to me wasn't 1% as bad as my NYE experience, so I imagine a little more time is needed on this one.
I actually am conflicted about it. There is the dark side of me that would absolutely relish in the revelation that retribution had been realized. The other side of me does hope she manages to escape the trap she's currently in (or that I strongly suspect she's currently in) and distance herself from criminal lowlifes and get her act together.Dang man if that really went down I feel for ya! As for her I don't think I will see her again because I usually carry and that scenario would have been very bad for all involved if that went down with me. Being a monger is some work man, and it takes out the fun of it all.

From pictures and reviews I said awe what the heck. Took her coffee when I showed up. She was nice to me and besides the cluttered room she smelled clean and that will turn me around asap.

Before I report on my experience, I will provide a little background on me. I was a senior member here for a long time, and a well respected member on NR and ESC.com. Sorry I'm slow getting this report posted. Saw Aksana about a month ago. She was very careful in the initial contact. All the right precautions taken.
