I've been in this hobby for 10+ years and I've never seen it this crazy! From the 90% scam ads on STG to most of our local providers seeming like they just don't care. There are certainly some good ones left, but they are few and far between. Just read a few months posts back and you can see most slowly slipping over the edge. And nobody seems to know who the news ones are. No doubt there is a BIG burnout rate in this biz. Not to mention the virus, Uncle LEO and all the rest of the crap that can go along with it. Sometimes there will be a page, sometimes two talking about just one provider. Never used to be that way. I certainly don't have a solution for what is happening. Used to be just bad service alone was enough to weed out the less then stellar performers! Now even the worst seem to be able to survive somehow. I guess my only suggestion is when we post to be as objective and honest as we can about the service. I for one will try my best to be outside the situation and make sure that my post comes from a useful place for everyone. Imagine if we didn't have this forum we'd all be pretty much flying blind! Idk, maybe that will help to show the providers that they need to step up their game or find another living!
