Here is my opinion. Most of these busts are not done on the fly, but rather are very much a planned event. Therefore, it has already been decided, during the planning session before the bust, whether any Johns will be arrested or not. Naturally, even though they already decided not to take in any Johns, if you are a total ass, then you will be taken in anyways. If they decided that they are going to take in the Johns, then you are screwed no matter what you do.

Eleven of the arrests occurred at Edward Vincent Park at Florence and Centinela avenues, which has become a haven for people engaging in sexual activity, Inglewood police Sgt. Robert Pessis said.
"It has become a popular location for people to go, but we are going to take the park back," Pessis said.
Police decided to target lewd activity last week after a child walked into a restroom and found a man engaged in a sexual act, Pessis said.
"These are just people loitering in the park for the purposes of lewd conduct," Pessis said.
Police focused on the restrooms and other outdoor areas.
"It appears it had been getting worse," Pessis said.
"We wanted to put our foot down and curb this problem."
Most of the people arrested were not Inglewood residents, he said.
Police also continued a campaign to stop sexual activity at massage businesses that offered "extras" to customers.
Undercover officers posing as massage customers visited 601 Spa at 601 West Manchester Blvd. and Crystal Therapy at 714 North La Brea Ave. and arrested four women for a variety of offenses, including solicitation of prostitution, maintaining a house of ill fame, and licensing violations.
Police identified those arrested as Dina Marie Petrone, 29, of Studio City; Sook Lee, 35, of Los Angeles; Jung Ok Lee, 61, of Burbank; and Fa Hong, 37, of Los Angeles.
The Inglewood Police Department's vice team will continue operations at massage parlors.
"Most of the massage parlors are closed down," Pessis said. "We are going to keep hitting them until they are gone."

Sgt. Robert Pecker ought to be ashamed of himself. Inglewood is scary dangerous and he's spending resources going after AMPs.
I wonder if they're going after amps because their officers were spending too much time in them (as customers).

Yeah, I "met" him too a couple of years back. He must be trying to be Chief or Mayor and use this as his platform to get the job. In my experience with him, he was pretty cool to me and kind of well spoken, which supports my theory that he is trying to become "Chief of Moral Police"!!!
Maybe the "new" Jerry Farwell, Hmmmmm....

Visited an amp near Van Ness and Rose, kind of interesting asked me to wait 5min and fill out a form for what muscle therapy I needed, of course gave all accurate personal info ;). Also an fyi they have the large gaps at the top and bottom of the doors.
The typical .5 entry fee, got Angie. (mon through thurs) A little older and a little thicker than I usually like but great personality. Nice massage, good cbj, but gentlemen I have never, I mean never felt the muscle control she had during acg. Talk about "magic fingers" I swear she could probably peel a banana with that thing. And the look on my face gave her a big smile too.
Was not busy at the time so we talked after for probably 20 more min. with me roaming over her softness and nice nipples.
Even at the end she never asked for a tip, but I treated her with respect for the relaxed unrushed service.
Not my usual taste for body type, but the attitude will bring me back again.

MisfitWow this is sad, Inglewood is basically no more. A few years ago when Inglewood was in its prime that place was a hobbiest heaven. Now, I gotta dig deep just to find a decent LMP
Must have been gay stuff going on at the park because I can't remember a single post about the park. For some unknown reason gay people like to meet at the park, reminds me of George Michael getting busted in park bathrooms.

The prosecutor would bring on evidence that the girl saw some 5+ men a day, under the same exact circumstances. I don't see how a jury panel of our peers wouldn't find enough reasonable doubt to actually let this kind of defense succeed.
Really, our only choices are legislation, which takes a long time and unlikely to succeed, since there are only a couple of municipalities in USA where prostitution is actually legal.
The other and more reasonable choice is tolerance, which has been the case for many years until recently, especially in cities like San Francisco or Inglewood. The good is that everyone gets what they want. The bad, well we are seeing it right now. Cities across the USA are cracking down on prostitution.
One city, San Francisco has turned their tolerance completely 180 degrees and are now looking to utilize an old state law, the California Red Light Abatement Act. Here is a link and snip from an article explaining it:

I was talking to an experienced provider who was not arrested in the recent busts and she explained the reason for this perfectly.

if the debate were framed in such a way as "we are never going to eliminate the demand for this (prostitution) and criminalizing it clogs up the justice system, distracts police from more pressing needs in the community and deteriorates neighborhoods, empowers low-lifes (pimps, etc), etc ... therefore we should confine all such activity to a "red light" district in ___ (inglewood?) where these institutions can be regulated and monitored for health issues, etc and the city can use tax revenues created by this (___ millions) toward improving roads, parks, schools, etc, etc. this is not an endorsement of prostitution, but a realistic way to approach a problem which spirals way beyond the linear and timeless money for sex business - which though offensive to many is still a consensual act between adults. red light districts work in other countries and is worth trying for ___ year period here. at the end of this period we will re-evaulate .. etc, etc etc."
You make a good point about the flat fee. In CO I haven't discussed services in a couple years. We only pay by the time 140- 45 minutes and 160 for an hour. The girls just go with the flow and you don't have to mess around with all the haggling.
I have read your fine board with relish in the past; being from NC I envied you guys the AMPs available to you, from San Diego to COI, the Valley, Gardena and the Inglewood. Now in the past 6 months, Ingle is toast, DC, that eastern AMP mecca in the past, is under siege. I can't think of a more agreeable group than your Korean massage workers, who are usually polite, hardworking, and at least act like they enjoy your company, which is a hell of alot more than most wives pull off. What is the point of all this LE busting? When did the last crime wave break out in an AMP? You've got 40,000 rampaging gang members in LA, for christ sake. I guess they are easy, soft targets. I started mongering at AMPs in 1975, and I mourn their passing.

Kay and Sophia are both from SFO, I was one of their first customer when they moved from SFO to LAX. So my guess they are both went back to SFO. The reason is that most TA chick other than Tammy & Michelle, were all from SFO when the mama introduced I have a new girl. I ask them where they are from and alway said just move from SFO.
So is it safe to say TA is closed? I really regret not taking numbers seriously a Dejee and this otherone I don't remember gave me their numbers. I was like yea right. Its hard to believe they will just disappear.
This is one of those groups where real questions are not answered. Sorry I don't know where Kay is for the other poster. But if anybody knows any whereabouts I think we and they would appreciate it. Only good data I have is that the amp in RB on artesia and inglewood intersection is up and running, the quality and service a lot lower than TA though.

I have not been to Inglewood in a while now since I have been roaming other parts lately. Before the "mighty were fallen" I remember the good ol'days when you could jump from establishment to establishment & leave a satisfied customer. OA was a well oiled machine with 15+ girls workin non-stop & around the clock. LS had the amazing latina duo that would blow your mind away among other things also. LP had the amazing asian duo that still blow my mind away. Damn I miss them good old days when Manchester fever was at it's peek.
So is TA & RC shutdown for good? I guess good 'ol reliable Yumi is no more.

Was down at one that sits on one road off of Lankershim. Right off the 134/101 freeway. Maybe some of you others have had luck. However, this guy has nothing but legit massages there. You might want to try Gardena, Lawndale, Hawthore, and Torrance area. Hawthorne Blvd. has a ton of them. Peace.

Sad to see the the ending of an era, the 'hood', but we must look further to new horizons. After recently doing a little recon mission of my own on the 'outskirts' of LA as well as part of the IE I've come across one of my fav's from the former LS/LP establishments-- Amy. Anyone remember this Cuban Latina gal with a smokin' little bod, a great set of bolt-ons, and a bubble butt that won't quit?? Well, yes she IS still around and is still providing a decent (not GFE but close) service. PM for details if anyones got info to trade on any good LMP's.
P.S. for you LE "pseudo-mongers" trolling our forums looking for the next places to bust, why don't you clean up the streets (drugs, gang/domestic violence, homicides, etc.) instead of lounging down at the station eating Winchells bearclaws and surfing the net.

She's now decided to go legit and does not want any mention of her here or anywhere so please don't ask me for her name.
That being said, this is what she told me that she believes may have caused the sudden LE interest in shutting down the AMPs in Inglewood:
There were a couple cops who had been visiting some of the AMPs in the area dressed in full uniform to take advantage of free rides that would be offered to them to keep things quiet. They had been doing this frequently, but apparently one of the guys was pretty abusive. One day he had come in to the shop and actually hit one of the providers. She decided that she didn't care about the shop or her own personal chance of being locked up, so she filed a formal report against the cop. Ever since this report was filed, LE has been systematically shutting down the AMPs.
I don't have any way of confirming or denying this story, but I figured it was worth posting. Maybe it answers some questions? Happy hunting guys.

Let's face it, the majority of cops don't have very good higher education, and usually become cops because they couldn't find a better job. By being a cop, they get to wave their badge and gun around and have power trips. The problem is, most cops don't have much in the way of humility.
My personal opinion is that the only people eligible to be cops should be ex-military. Most military (not all) usually sign up because it is the best option they have in terms of pay and benefits. But unlike most fucktard cops, they actually go through a disciplined boot camp and may or may not be involved in actual fighting. They actually learn such virtues as honor, respect, and comraderie. The only time cops go through these coming of age situations are rare tragic events (9/11, Columbine, etc.)

Gosh, as the years go by, the places I used to frequent are gone. There used to be a couple of place on Crenshaw. One on Vermont, and my favorite place on Rosecrans between Crenshaw and Van Ness. Oh well, the new search goes on.
Ag@pe in Garden is still alive and well, they are currently using a different name. I met up with a mexicana and we hung out for 30 min. She took the 85 I offered , said next time she wanted the full amount. She claimed 26, face looked more like 38, body was still bangin though, hourglass with bolted D's, a some thick roast beef slices. She must have been a piece about 20 years ago. Says she used to hang out at our old favorite spot on Abbot Kinney, she says that Wendy from the old spot is now working in Colton.
Just a quick update on Tammy. She is indeed working in Gardena now. I went to see her today and she's just as great as ever.

Over the last few years I have been frequenting a few of the inglewood AMP's and have really enjoyed myself. I recently did the rounds and discovered all of them TA, RC, SA, 601 are all shuttered which caused me to find this website looking for answers.
I am not a regular at any of the places, every few months I indulge, but was curious if any of the more regulars can give any insight as to how long this type of shutdown lasts. Case in point, this and other boards were used as part of the evidence to get wire tap warrants, etc. for Black Thursday about 1.5 years ago when the Feds busted just about every big joint in LA and SF one day and started ICE proceedings against the 70 or so girls arrested if I recall correctly.
So these boards are very valuable to gain information.
But in this situation currently in Inglewood, there is nothing on these boards that the cops who were currpt did not already know. In fact, they know more than we know about what goes on, obviously, if they are shaking down the joints to get free favors from the most famous PSE we all know and the other girls who were forced to give similar favors to the cops.

That probe, which resulted in charges against more than two dozen people, led to allegations that Inglewood officers engaged in the sexual liaisons — sometimes in uniform — during work hours and off duty, according to several local and federal sources familiar with the case.
Early this year, a source close to that probe said evidence seized by federal agents and local investigators included "very detailed ledgers" that suggested Inglewood officers were receiving sexual favors at the businesses without paying.

Respectfully Banzai1, this is a rookie comment. There have been a few who have argued that you should not post details of anything on this site. That would obviously call in to question the continuing use of this site, and maybe it should just be shut down if its intended use is no longer viable.
However, if you read the reports on the singlewood busts, and you have any mere surface knowledge at all, the inglewood scene was no secret to police, and, in fact, it was all over the television news that the inglewood police had been frequenting the establishments, in uniform, and demanding services from the girls, including one most notable famous provider who we all know. This provider got sick of the constant abuse by the Stinglewood police, one in particular, who was particularly abusive to her. Of course, the officers who partook did not pay a dime for her, or any other girl's services.
What sparked the final blow to Stinglewood recently was when this girl would not provide the service anymore, which was viewed as "protection payment" by this cop. There even is rumor that she complained to the police dept., and that is why she happened to be absent from work at TA and Royal on days that some of the busts went down, but I am not sure of this last allegation. Whether it was this officer's cut off of free pussy/ass, or this girl did complain, there became no further reason why the cops should not take down the places.
Further, neighboring businesses and homes complained of these places for years, and the presure finally got to the IPD to do something.
Thus, I find it rather naive and misguided of you to suggest that the cops read this site only recently to find out the BIG SECRET of what was going on in Tokyo, and other places. Let's not even talk about Black Thursday (of 2006 was it?, seems like yesterday). So, obviously, nobody has to read this site to find out the age old common knowledge of what goes on in these places.

Not the same Tammy as Misfit mentioned previously. However, the Tammy from J-Spa was world-class! She's definitely hotter than the "infamous" Tammy from "the wood", but not nearly as wild. They are both great providers, but both have different styles.

The good news however, is she said when the mama reopens Normandie, she would be back. Hmmmmm, I won't hold my breath! Spoke with Tammy in a lenthy conversation yesterday and thought I'd report on her inactivity. First off, she's been quite cautious of LE lately because one of her friends in Gardena was recently busted. Apparently the place she was working at in Lomita got hit hard so she decided to stay at her usual haunt--Normandie in Gardena. The only problem with this place is that the owner mamasan has taken off to Korea on an extensive vacation and doesn't know when she'll be back. Now for the good stuff: Tammy offered me incall/outcall service. She said I could come down to her house in Irvine for 200/hr. Or she could come up to mine at 300/hr. I kindly declined them both. The good news however, is she said when the mama reopens Normandie, she would be back. Hmmmmm, I won't hold my breath! GAVThanks for the update. I have to say, in my opinion, 200/hr incall with Tammy is a great price. A half hour session with her at an AMP would be 150 total after entry, so I would gladly pay the extra 50 for incall. It's moments like this that I regret not being a regular poster (senior member credibility) or smart enough to get her contact info after 3 different parlors and 5+ meetings with her. I'll just have to learn to be less low key and wait for the news she's back to work. (just wish mamasan was honest with me when I call to confirm Tammy is working. She's BS me at least 3 times.) I've just recently been a lurker here. I've been a SC mongler way back in the late 90's. The only thing that drew me to AMP scene cause the SC was getting old, and lately it's getting worst each year (as far as mileage was concern). Does anyone know if AGAPE and Sun Accu are still open? I've past by there many times around 6:00pm, looks to be close, no lights. I've gone to the one right by Hawiian Bake, there is little privacy in the room. The door has small glass which you can see inside and out. No special treatment was done. May have to hit up Amy's Accu soon.

Went to check them out last week. Very low key operation, no sign on the door. The "massage tech" that greeted me told me that they were there for a whole year. Two asian gals, mainland chinese operation (they spoke mandarin to each other). Got 30 mins .. excellent massage with an expert manual finish at the end. 40/40 ... Toftt. Well, sort of. It may be well known to the chronic types, but tried a Thai place on Lomita. Can't miss it. Not my neighborhood, but in neighborhood on business. Traditional Thai, which I like. Really sweet people. No extras. Folks seem like unhappy divorcee types, but carried on good conversation througout the hour. Off duty gal gave me hand/foot massage while masseuse did fine Thai massage. I like it rough, for the athlete in me. No push for tips. No rush through the shower and one chatted with me thoughout the shower. Lots of warm hugs all around. Good recovery for post holiday blues. Will return for same service due to excellent Thai massage. Love these gals, don't you?
