Made a stop into Scarlett's first time in about a month.
First thing I noticed was they had five staff people out on the floor. Seemed odd for this place.
Found out two of the owners bought out the other two. One of the owners also owns Agora from what I was told.
They are going to remodel the place and the name will be changed.
Maybe this place will loosen up some with the change.

Yep. The owner of Platinum was under suspicion when it burnt down years ago. He buys Scarlett's and started "renovating" and it burns down as well. The parking lot is full of cars. Mostly investigators. Some of the shirts had ATF on the back. Not sure why ATF would be involved, but it looks like that dude is in some serious trouble.

I wanted to see the effects of the fire, so stopped into Scar's on Sunday evening. Used to be no cover before a certain time but they wanted 10 bucks to get in the door. Could tell it was maybe the bouncer, a bartender and me in the whole place and I wasn't going to spend 10 bucks to sit on a chair. Off to Platts.
No cars there so killed some time at BrewHas then went in. Plat required 10 bucks cover as well. Could see there were no dancers and no customers and again I wasn't going to give them ten bucks for the privilege to buy a beer. Interesting that both places have the same policies now.

And they'll never say they think it's arson. Arson investigators will give your friend the impression he's not under investigation so he slips up and starts talking, even years later. His 2nd fire at a 2nd strip club? They're watching him like a hawk, guaranteed.

Went by over the weekend and they took all the signs down.

Actually that is not accurate. They plan to reopen later this year after they renovate the whole place. Their plans are waiting approval by the permit department now and work should begib soon.

They was closed down because they was doing remodeling without a permit.

Why do clubs always close in Toledo?The Toledo clubs were actually fun for a while through the early 00's: alcohol, full nudity, high contact lap dances. But the religious right that took over Ohio eventually had their way even right up to the SE Michigan border and the party ended.
Is there still extras at Agora? Also what are some good clubs I can check out up north?

Professional and competent management will attract and only hire professional talent. Hire the right talent, avoid the trash, and have a manager who is focused on making $ instead of hiring junkies / prostitutes. Less fun for those who want extras from the dancers, but professionalism = $$.

I have been going to Scarlet's in Toledo for over 21 years. I have seen the ups and downs over the years. I have even been to the one outside of Hollywood, Fl and of course, hundreds of other clubs.
Let me say first, that this club in Toledo could be great! I truly believe that it could be the Pinnacle of all clubs in town.
However, I agree that it has not been run correctly by local and upper management / owners. I have ideas that could bring this club back to the "glory days" of what used to be a great area for strip clubs. And I don't just mean getting "extras" outside of the club.
I believe that Scarlet's could be the "go to club" or even the main club for "bachelor parties" or a "great night out".
It is truly a shame that the fiduciary f*ck ups that have ran this is in to the ground don't care about such a great possibility.
If only they could afford me to run the club.

Did a quick run through late afternoon to scarlets and platinum. This was on the 3rd. 1st stopped in at scarlets and timed it well saved me a lot of time. I got my expensive beer and they did A dancer review right then. There were only 4 dancers. They have the full spectrum covered. There is almost something for everyone's taste. A slim good looking black gal, if I was into black gals that would be one that I might have been intrested in. A very slim brunette who approached me. She look better the farther away she got every lot of miles on that chassis when she got face-to-face. A short thick With blondish Brown hair wearing of all things a gingham dress. And the best looking of the lot a dancer who is under the name clover with ass for miles. But she was tied up with a regular it appeared quite frankly the best looking lady in the place was the bartender. So I bounced out the door to Platinum. More dancers And the dancers were friendlier I was immediately approached by a high mileage Hispanic lady with long hair but not to my taste. As I said at the bar I immediately received in and asked for but not unappreciated back rub from another brunette but I immediately blew off because not my taste. A very robust blond girl dancing under the name Sunshine almost got a dance out of me but the sad fact is I'm still recovering from a surgery and I honestly thought while I would enjoy a dance she'd injure me. I did note however her presence and will probably go back when I'm more recovered with her in mind. Honestly the bartender was far more interesting here as well and the cutest chick in the place short blond hair and a fair number of tattoos Talk to her for a little bit when I left as she was outside smoking. If either the bartenders also dance well worth it but it's not something one asks or at least I don't So nothing to report. Call it a reconnaissance.

Even Lust does not have anything worth it on day shift.
Platnium has some really good looking woman after 11 pm on Fri and Sat nights. Weeknights are not much better than the day shift talent.

No inside info but Very definately has changed. I have OTC arrangements with a couple dancers who overlapped the changeover. Was told by them both new owners very clear no "extras". I tried a couple times with new girls and bounced. Can change in an instant but right now NO EXTRAS.

Thought I'd stop into agora. There was good and bad. What I walked in I got hit for the cover expected and par for the course neither good nor bad. A lot of physical changes since the last time I was in. Pushed back some of the booths along the North side and the west side. Definitely improve the appearance and made the place feel much larger. Have added a significant number of TV's I don't care for that but does improve the look. One thing I definitely did not care for was the atmosphere. There was a black guy and a white guy constantly pacing the floor and a 3rd guy doing it in between checking the Coat room. Made for a very hostile feel in the place in my opinion. And while it didn't effect me they were very aggressive about checking the dance area. As far as dancers go for Saturday night there weren't very many. Brazil and Jasmine who've been there a long time And maybe 3 others possibly 4. In my opinion there only two worth looking at, Ellie or alley Was pretty interesting but was tied up with another customer And one going by Charlie who looked really nice except she never went topless. If you like Thick then Brazil and Jasmine might work for you. Another plus the bar is much much better stocked. Hard to call it a positive report neutral at best.

Possibly it may lighten up over time as customers understand they are running a different kind of club.
With that said there were reports of Alcatraz girls working at Cablis on the days that Alcatraz was closed. Anyone been there recently? I have not been in there in probably 8-10 years. At that time fun was had but if you got caught (they were watching) you were tossed.

Counting dances, checking on the dancers and pushing chairs in etc. You might notice this type of thing more in a smaller less busy club. They aren't aggressive they are just doing there jobs. I felt very comfortable being in the bar. The girls were friendly and the bar staff as well. Saturday there weren't may girls but it was 4th. Of July weekend. Friday there was quite a few girls working with a good variety of girls. I did get several dances and the guys poke there head in for a second and the walk out. Not a big deal. The dance room has a new ceiling and they will be dividing the room shortly.
This is a very friendly place to go. Everyone was nice and polite. I don't get how someone would feel hostility in that environment.

Hit platinum today late afternoon. Much more like it compared to 2 weeks ago maybe it was because it was Friday not Thursday. At any rate steady trickle of girls coming in when I got there at 3 there are 4 but by the time I left at 6:45 and were 8 or 9 easy. Unusual in my experience the vast majority were brunettes I only recall 2 blondes. There is something going on with the sound system so I found it difficult to catch most of their names for which I apologize. There was a short little spinner type named Vegas I did not get a dance but she sure looked worth it. I did go back and get some Dances from a young gal named either liza or eliza. Nice rack nice ass just the right amount of meat on her bones. I enjoyed the dances but from chatting with her and others it was pretty clear no extras were on table. I will say I got the feeling although I didn't outright ask that several the ladies would be up for outside the club arrangements if you took the time to build their comfort level with you over several visits just a feeling but I've been doing this a while and I can usually trust it. Even without any extras it was a pretty nice visit.

New carpet, new couches, looks like a new A / C unit on the roof and a rotating staff of DJ's. They are playing primarily "alternative rock" for the girls to dance to, and the girls don't have much input into the music.
I was trying to beat the weekend heat and arrived a little after 6:30 pm. Only a few cars in the parking lot, and they were asking $10.00 cover, and I declined. The manager is a tall blond young lady and she said I might as well come in as there weren't many customers anyway. So in I go.
Really pleasant bartender wearing a sheer semi-see through top. One decent looking dancer, maybe a 7. The manager is hottest by far. The new carpet is nice, and the chairs are in good shape and 12 oz beers are 5 bucks. Didn't see the couches this time.

Place seems to be doing better business than Platnium was on Saturday night. Parking lot was packed at Scarletts. Platnium only had maybe ten guys in the place when I was there.

As I walked in he immediately said "The cover charge is $10.00", and I said something like "OK, I"m going to pass then, thanks. " As I started to leave, the gal tells me that there really wasn't anyone in there so go ahead and come in. It was well before 7.
There was one dancer a bit heavier than I prefer, and the friendly bartender. A little while later the decent looking dancer appeared.
The door guy didn't specifically say so, but I got the impression that the no-cover policy before 7 pm might be on its way out with the new management, but I can't say that for certain right now.
For certain the music is different. There isn't going to be any "urban" music or techno, just rock / alt rock. That will drive away a certain element from hanging out there.

Yes, the male door attendant was behind the desk and the manager gal (as reported: Brittany and that's not a club name) was on the customer side talking to him. As I walked in he immediately said "The cover charge is $10.00", and I said something like "OK, I"m going to pass then, thanks. " As I started to leave, the gal tells me that there really wasn't anyone in there so go ahead and come in. It was well before 7.
There was one dancer a bit heavier than I prefer, and the friendly bartender. A little while later the decent looking dancer appeared.
The door guy didn't specifically say so, but I got the impression that the no-cover policy before 7 pm might be on its way out with the new management, but I can't say that for certain right now.
For certain the music is different. There isn't going to be any "urban" music or techno, just rock / alt rock. That will drive away a certain element from hanging out there.When I stopped in Scarletts yesterday about 6:30 I asked the door guy behind the counter if there was a cover charge and he said not till 7.
Strange they have tried to charge you a cover twice now.
If it was on a Sunday I could see why they would charge cover if someone walked in a little before 7 since they don't open till 7.

Platinum's is my 2nd choice, usually dead in the afternoons, gets better as the weather gets cold. Finally there's Scarlet's, used to be my favorite, but with the new owners the vibe has changed, girls are all new except for Jersey. Bottle of beer is $4, and the upped they dance prices. My biggest complaint is they keep the place so damn cold!

Was supposed to go to Lust But I never made it any farther than Scarlett's. Was their most day shift from two till 8. I got several dances from a couple of different dancers. I started out at lust at about 4:30 Unfortunately it did not live up to recent reports. Beer prices were not cheaper they were in line with everybody else as far as dancers There was one tall leggy blonde that was interesting but the vast majority of them were either chunky or appeared to be Under drinking age Or were other complexion I do not prefer or a combination of the 3. The only thing that did live up to the hype was the asian bartender she's definitely hot. So I finished my one beer and headed to scarlets. Again disappointment none of my favorite girls were there 2 of the 3 that were there were not to my taste. Zoey is interesting And at least fun to talk to But I was really looking forward to one of my favorites. So out the door I went to platinum The music there was better and Riley was there so I would have hooked her up with a few dances. But so was Thursday. Thursday got to me 1st and got a couple of dances. Definitely the best option there this afternoon and an excellent grind and bump. They are very strict and dancers are thinking they are there to be worshipped and you shouldn't expect anything special from them:/ disappointed.They are definitely not like they used to be. They are trying to get more customers coming in so maybe the talent will improve. However I think they days of extras will never return.
Some of the girls are less strict if you get to know them and a few will give out digits.
At least if the girls are not worth getting dances from we have plenty of tv's to watch now.
Platinum was putting tv's up along the side of the stage Friday. When I went in Saturday they had more on the end of the stage. Counted 22 tv's around the stage now plus the ones that they have had at the bar. Still trying to figure out where they will put those two 98" big screens at that have been sitting there.
Scarlett's added probably 10 or so more tv's along the walls.

After stopping at the three Toledo clubs today and the lack of decent talent I figured I would check out Agora. Talent here was even lower.
Guess the best part of the night was no one was working the door so I didn't have to pay cover charge. Got there about eight.
There was two dancers working myself and two other customer in the place.
They are now open Monday through Saturday.

Basically they are making you get another drink and pay for it every time you go for the special. They are making more money that way selling drinks.
It helps the lower end girls make more money by doing more dances but the higher end girls are making less doing the same dances they always have.

Went to Platinum, and similar story, only add a couple more guys at the bar and 4 or 5 dancers. Nothing higher than a 6 (personal opinion). Again, the spinner bartender was the hottest thing going. I stuck around for 45 minutes, because that least were dancing on stage, but nothing. Not approached once. I know it's day shift, but wow. Couldn't get a lap dance if I was Santa Claus.

My experiences are at least two years old.
Not the best talent; trailer trash from Sandusky County and Erie County (so Sandusky and Fremont townies). Price per dance was higher than in Toledo. Back then I think it was $25 per song (although I think Sirens on Telegraph is charging that now too? Wouldn't surprise me if they've gone to $35 per song now.
Not all that much further south on the west / south side of Tiffin is another club; Fantasyland, I think? It's been even longer since I was there. It used to be BYOB (bring your own beer), dance prices were the same but girls were better. Neither club seems to have more than five dancers at a time (we're talking Saturday nights).
Oh, Club Rog is almost entirely an air dance. The girls will stand about a foot from you (though there was a bit more contact the last time I had a dance there). Fantasyland is more fun in that department, so another thing in its favor (if it's still open).

When I've had success it's when a girl typically stays and talks with me after I've turned down a dance from her (a dance turns into 3 in no time anyways) if I enjoy our conversation I will might go back for some dances. If any contact is made with my dick besides grinding on it (hand on it over my pants, or head on it over my pants) I feel comfortable enough asking at that point. Most times you get a no, or they'll at least flirt heavier. At the very least they'll try to get you off while getting dances. I usually have to male them stop, because the grinding isn't enough to get me off. I usually get blue balls on the way home, and I have to try and get ahold of a provider anyways.
It's not a cheap go even if you're successful in this area. I've had very limited success for the last few years. It's a costly process. You'll need to get dances from them in the club from them then if your lucky enough to get one to agree to some OTC they try for a ridiculous donation.

Start at Bogart's, because they'll typically have the most to choose from and it'll be busier. If the Bogart's talent doesn't work out for you, a mile and a half down the road is Henry's North. North typically has a few options to choose from. Finally, go to South. Years ago, South was my favorite but it recent times, there's less girls and it's less busy. I was told Lust was hoping to reopen on June 1st but it didn't happen. They did update their FB page today saying opening soon.

Agora will be reopening tonight June 10th at 6 pm.I was driving south on Telegraph yesterday evening and was surprised to see a good number of cars in the parking lot on both sides of the building.
Had things to do so could not stop in. I think I'm going to give it a bit of time. Most certainly the health dept or somebody is going to be visiting every restaurant and bar to verify they are doing the required distancing and other mandates. As was said before, those in power that don't like these clubs have a great opportunity to get them for all kinds of violations now.

I was already at the notel on Reynolds so instead of staying there I went up the road to Hush til I found something. Before I go in, I see an ad for her. Thought what the hell. Called her she answered said she can see me now if I was there in 5 minutes. I was there in 1, probably ran the lights on Reynolds. I had a great time. Her attitude was fine for someone who got tons of bad reviews about her attitude.

She then went away for 2 years to Florida, learned a lot by dancing at a club and her "customer service" was better. Learned how to act / hustle and be sexy. Completely different in how she approached "dates". Quite possibly drugs were involved with her more outgoing demeanor, but that's just a complete guess. And she somehow got hotter in looks since when she first started. That never happens. The good old days of back page. Now I think any girl that approaches that kind of hotness goes on seeking to find a sugar daddy (a sucker) at a much higher rate.

Toledo, which was never that great in terms of bang for the buck will be worse for a while. OTC is the only reason to visit. Our northern clubs though, many are picking up right where they left off. Not all, but most. And no, Agura is not North. Hamilton type clubs.

Was also told they have a dress code if you don't meet they won't let you in. No white tees, baggy clothes, motorcyle attire and a couple other things.

So many states, including our fun clubs to the north, have been shut down again. Ohio likely soon, so if you have an itch better go get it scratched now.

Probably not a good sign there. If he cannot pay rent at plat he cannot pay the remodelers and a lean will be put on the building / business. Something tells me the owner does not plan well, IE spends it as fast as he makes it.

I even talked to one about it. One of the former managers from Platinums posted on social media times for the girls to get all their shit, because they wouldn't be opening. I think a few have went North to Agora.

I think a few have went North to Agora.Denta may be a little uninformed. Plat ownership did invest in the old Scarletts. Hell they even hung an electronic sign on the side of the old Scarletts with Platinum ads while they were working on the remodel. To be clear though, this is Scarletts on Telegraph. Not the old Scarletts/Diamonds on Rt 2 in Oregon.
As for the comment of not being able to pay for the remodel, fair call out. Clearly they abandoned the old location given the evection notices posted. Was not simply a situation of the lease running to maturity. From there you can attempt to draw conclusions. In the end it is not a good thing for Toledo clubs as Plat was the best of the bunch. Now that is not saying a lot as Toledo does not have a great pool of clubs to compare with. Who knows Covid may claim another club as well before it is all over. Over the past 5 or so years we have lost (and not replaced) TSG, Marylins/Pole Kats, Lux, Whatever the one next to Jeds was called, Deja Vu, The Palms, Scarletts Rt2/Diamonds and now Plat/Scarletts. I will list that as Plat/Scarletts as in the end there will likely be one of the two still there.
Am I right in that you can now count them on one hand? Plat/Scarletts, Lust, Chablis, Hush and Agora. Did I miss any? Also, I assume Agora is currently closed given Michigan closed bars again?
