I've been going there for 5 or 6 years also. I preferred the taller, skinny one. Her massage was always very good. What got me going was all the teasing she would do during the session. There are certainly some low rent areas with undesirables within a mile of the Precinct restaurant but are we talking about investing in property or personal safety when we say it's a sh*t area? I feel much less safe in probably 20 or more other neighborhoods in town.
YMMV I guess, I've had shady encounters in nicer areas but I'm in that part of town somewhat regularly, even sometimes late at night and I've never felt unsafe. Seen a few wandering addicts walking through parking lots but I've never been approached. Meanwhile, I can't walk 2 blocks even in the nice parts of OTR without someone trying to "holla at" me.

I was in the Greenhills area last week for work so I decided to stop into this local massage joint. UHS Massage & Backwalk is a typical AMP. My masseuse was probably mid 40's to early 50's, but not bad really, typical skinny Asian lady. I opted for the hour, and the massage was actually pretty good, would give it a 7 out of 10. On the flip she gave me the nod, I gave the go ahead and she went to town for a decent, but nothing too exciting, HE. Despite the name, there was no backwalk at all. Actually I go there for just the reason you mentioned. I DO get the back walk pretty much every single time. I typically see Anna when there. Most places in San Fran where I last lived would have 1-2 extra rooms. When all 3 women were busy, they'd place us into the holding rooms. If all the massage and holding rooms were full, you were turned away and told to come back in 1-2 hours. I Never saw another dude in the 7 years I lived in San Fran. They'd clear the old client off the table, get them out the front door, clean up the room, then go to your holding room and transfer you over. There were always guys there but I never saw them and hardly heard them.
If I'm hearing oily handjobs simply standing at the front door, there is also no audible privacy either.
Today I saw 3 dudes and another one who came out of a room 30 seconds after I left.

Stopped into the popular spot across from the UDF and next to the Domino's last week. Many people have indicated they do not park in that lot and I can understand why, but I always find it more awkward to park in an adjacent lot and walk over as I feel like there are a lot more eyes on you. I feel safer in the little hidden lot in back, but not as much with the driveway blocked. There's now a sign on the back door saying you have to enter in the front. I think this was the case last time I visited here as well. I always liked being able to park and go right in the back door but I guess those days are gone.
This place is still up and running, I walked in the front and was immediately greeted by my masseuse. Over the duration of the massage I confirmed two other female voices in the building, one of them was for sure working, couldn't tell if the other voice was just sitting in the back room or if she was also working. People came and went during my stay but everyone was quiet for the most part.
Masseuse was not great. If there's a hot one there it's not her. If I could compare her to a celebrity I would say she looks like Shrek. Massage was half-assed and not very skilled, but there was a lot of teasing right out of the gate. She started the handshake before the flip, which I have no problem with. Some reaching and caressing around the back door led me to raise my hips up a bit and she reached around and got started. At this point we are maybe 25 min into the hour and she tells me to flip. I'm ready to go so I don't object. Once I turn over she goes right into it for a second but then stops and clarifies tip amount. I say. 4, she counters with. 6. I express my unhappiness that if it's just a handshake I tip. 4. She stands her ground. Whatever, I don't haggle with these women over 10 or 20 bucks. I'm trying to get in and get out, and I prefer to be quiet especially when there's one or two other mongers within earshot. Earshot is an understatement. Everyone is on top of each other at this place separated by curtains. Alas, I'm not going to make a scene or engage in extended negotiations over a twenty. I realize that pisses other mongers off, but so be it. Inflation is hitting and. 4 was the standard tip pre covid. Price of everything going up.
She gets to work and like most heavy set chicks, her skills are above average. She finishes me off relatively quickly and then massages me for the rest of the time. She ended with a face massage which was fine except for the fact that I got a whiff of her horrible breath and her fingertips reeked of garlic, or something like garlic. A bit of a put-off but the massage was relaxing other than that.
Overall not a great experience but saying I'll never be back would be dramatic. When I'm in the area with time to kill, I'll repeat. I know what I'm going to get here, even if it's a C minus. Hopefully next time I at least draw a better body or a prettier face. Out the door for 1. 2 total, YMMV.

Of course the cop scenario is much worse, but Duke Energy showing up is still not good. Whose to say what he hears while in there or if he tells / complains to his superiors about this place, bringing the heat along with it Either scenario bad news in my opinion. My time at massage parlors may have come to an end with this experience. Not sure it's worth the risk anymore. Maybe the recent AMP bust giving me the jitters. I stoped at the "New Sweets" on summit in Middletown.
I'm not sure this place is related to the old sweets. I got there and paid $70 for the hour. MT was middle age right body with very perky bolt on C's. Massage was good with fantastic teasing.
