Been looking for a replacement to Warren for awhile and decided to stop by Lustys based on the reports. I wish I hadn't because it's a train wreck and certainly not a replacement to Warren.
This report will hopefully give those who haven't visited Lustys yet the information they need.
The Place:
Lustys is not a strip club per se, it's more like a local bar with a lot of SW hanging out dancing. Beer is cheap for sure and the bartender seems very nice. Quick bar service. Some thug presence that will try to talk to you but I ignored them and drank my beer.
The Rules:
$5. 00 for a dance at the bar and if the girl likes you tells you what dances you can see in the VIP. As far as I can tell all types of dances can happen there. You agree with the dancer what you would like to see and pay her. An important thing to know is that she pays the club for the VIP time not the customer. See later.
The Experience:
Talent ranges from 1 to 3 at best. Too bad the bartender doesn't dance. She looked better than all of them.
Got a bar dance with a short chunky brunette whose name I have thankfully already forgotten. It was really nothing more than an LE check and chance to offer VIP dances. Went to VIP and it was a train wreck. She spends the whole time trying to squeeze more cash out of me instead of dancing. Asked for more than agreed upon. Said no. Started dancing then stopped and just asked for more money. Said no. Then tried up sell. Said no. Then after dances were over said I shorted her and give her more money. Told her no. Told me that I have to pay the bar for the dances. Got up and went to bar to finish beer. Asked bartender and she tells that the girl must pay the VIP tax. Then the girl tells her there was only one song. Bartender tells her no and she is on tape so stop.
Nothing else here is even remotely worth speaking about. Dances were horrible obviously. YMMV on the dances and what they will cost you but I am guessing you could get all the dances you need in the. 6 to. 8 range. Others here will have to fill that in as I won't be back to try again.
The Advice:
This is just one person's opinion, but unless you are very aware of what you are in for or have been there before you should stay away from Lustys. Besides the thug element on the premises the layout is just too dangerous to be risked. The VIP is actually 3 feet away from the bar and you could be getting your dances 3 feet away from uncle LEO and never know it. There is no buzzer no doorman nothing.
There is always a risk / reward decision to make in this game, but Lustys is just too much risk with very little reward. This isn't a replacement for a Detroit SC or a Warren AMP.
Stay away guys.

It's just the regular VIP room. It's a big, open area, separated from the rest of the place by a curtain.
The only people who can see what is going on are the other customers back there. If you are getting extras, chances are they are as well, so nobody really cares. It can be awkward if the girl on the couch next you is giving head, but you just have to focus on your chick. LOL.

It's on State St. Just south of Broad Blvd. If coming from Broad it will be on your right across from McD's. I'm not a regular of strip clubs in Akron but enough that I have checked several in the last year and I've had the best / only extras at LA. I go in the afternoon / evening. Have gotten HJ at the bar but I am a good tipper.

ThanksIt's been awhile since I've been in either club but regarding Jen's, I believe it opens around 2-2:30, Georgies I believe opens about 3-3:30, Dreamers I have no idea since they just re-opened after being closed awhile.
Area and parking lots at all three clubs is safe during the day and probably fairly safe at night too.

ThanksI don't know about the hours, but as far as safety goes, that area is not bad, especially during the day. Occasionally Tallmadge cops will sit in Midway Plaza parking lot (across from Georgies) but they don't bother anybody unless you're being an obvious, flaming idiot. Tallmadge City limits are like "right there" and nobody wants to draw THEIR attention so the area is pretty calm.
Always lock your car (no matter where you go) and don't leave anything enticing in your car like bags or boxes like you've been Christmas shopping at Chapel Hill.

Week after the holiday and all the black Friday shopping left all the clubs devoid of guys yesterday. Will probably be like this on and off until Christmas is over, holidays take away those extra play dollars the girls depend on at this time of year. Girls have less days to make their rent and pay their bills with clubs closing at the end of the month. That being said, its a great feeling to stop a dancer after one song who's doing no grinding and pull a fiver off a big stack of bills. They see that wad of cash and have that dejected look as they walk away, only to see the next dancer get 4 songs in a row. Reward the girls doing the good grinds, punish the girls doing the air dance is my moto.
Jens: Tuesday evening around 7ish and hardly any decent talent worth mentioning. And they had their lights against their back wall turned all the way up, felt like some stage performance was going to start. And they had Christmas lights strung up along the wall by the door, the club was lit up bright as day. This club's always had a nice dark atmosphere, hope this was just the new bartender forgetting to turn down the lights and not some new policy. Couple of dances and I was out of there.
Mars: swung by for some of their happy hour beers, $2 bucks till 9pm help kill some time before heading to gatsbys. Couple of cute dancers but their non-contact dances aren't desirable. Place is dead at 8:30pm, if they did some contact I'm sure they'd have more customers. All the clubs do contact, why is Mars killing all forms of contact? Place has so much potential and their heating and electric bills probably aren't cheap.
Gatsbys: Lack of dancer control has the girls showing up later in the evening, best time to show is right around 9pm. There was a good mix of guys and girls. One of the clubs positives (and its negative) are the lower priced beers, $3 bucks is a great price for a stripclub. Problem is they bring in guys who don't have the money for dances and just sit there looking at the guy next to them getting a dance from a topless cutie. Cute bartender, nice low cut top showing off her cleavage and the lighting was just right (take note Jens). Lots of cute girls and some great grinds were given. The only negative to this club is their bouncers, way too many on a weekend night to get the better dances, weekdays there's only one bouncer. I like it when the bouncers are huge, you can see them coming and they usually don't want to walk too much. Bouncer last night was a short guy with lots of energy, he bopped around way too much and kept looking at the amount of contact the girls were giving.

I turned down dances from Alex and Sam (she was drunk and whiny). There was one heavier African American dancer that anyone who goes to Jen's much at all would be familiar with by her demeanor. She is extremely aggressive in trying to get you to the back. Literally, without me asking for a dance at the bar, she had my shirt pulled up, my fingers walking (her doing) and hers down my front. Loads of dirty talking also. I resisted the private dance (although she somehow manages to try more in the back from some past imaginations). I know she has gone by Sweet in the past but also uses other names.
Overall, it was a poor night for Jen's at any rate.
Am still interested in any info on Gina. She used to work at 1245 and Jenn's. Someone pm'ed me last spring and said they would get her cell but never received it.

I used to be a semi regular but have not been to Jens since last year. Jackie was the one I usually went for she would let my hands roam anywhere and never complained. Everybody out there must have overspent for the holidays or there's some deals going on that I don't know about. All the clubs were dead, thought I saw a tumbleweed blowing thru Jens. Good news, lights were back to the dim level and there were tons of girls. Girls weren't in the best of moods, not more than 8 customers in sight. Great new for me, got tons of dances and turned down countless offers of how great they are in the back room. Too many girls to do to spend it all on one vagina.
Headed out to Gatsbys but it was a bit early so took the Mars detour for their happy hour prices (till 9pm). Suprise, suprise. A whole bunch of new girls, many of them smoking hot. Wanted to shout out "you know this is mars, you won't make more than 60 bucks". Two smoking hot chicks. And I mean smoking. Would have done an air dance just to see them topless but they bolted into the back room and hopefully back to reality.
Finally headed over to Gatsbys and was really glad I made that Mars detour. Dead. Ten guys and 4. 5 women (one was HUGE, deserves that extra 50 pound rating). Personally, I have been a fan of Jen's over the years, but I have been less impressed recently. Friday afternoon I walked in there with $200, looking for lots of fun, and walked out with $184. I got a couple perfunctory barside dances. One from "Alea" who was very friendly and into it, but just too large for me, and a second from I can't even remember who. That's how forgettable it was. There were a few more customers than girls, but the main problem was that half the girls there (including one attractive one that looked pretty interesting) spent most of the time on their cell phones, ignoring customers. If I did that at work, I'd get fired pretty quickly. Aren't girls trying to make Christmas cash?

I agree with the previous comments. Jen's is going downhill. I stopped in during the afternoon last week. Didn't even get a drink before I was approached by one of the thinner girls with the "want a dance?" intro. I said ok and she gave me an uninspired going through the motions dance and i was almost overcome by the rotton fish aroma from below. I payed her for her time and left, I never even bought a beer. Total time in bar. 5 minutes. Total cost. 5 dollars.
I wonder why some of those girls are even there, they're uninterested and unwashed and they expect to make money. Not from me.

Walked into Gatsbys Saturday around 8pm and walked right back out. Not much into the gay stripbar atmosphere with the 40 guys sitting around the bar and the 4 average looking dancers doing their shuffle. I did come back later in the evening and the talent level was a little better, just not what it used to be. Personally, I have been a fan of Jen's over the years, but I have been less impressed recently. Friday afternoon I walked in there with $200, looking for lots of fun, and walked out with $184. I got a couple perfunctory barside dances. One from "Alea" who was very friendly and into it, but just too large for me, and a second from I can't even remember who. That's how forgettable it was. Does anyone know anything about the bar on Rt 18 Between 77 and 71. I have been driving by it a lot here lately and they have a sign out front that says dancers. If driving west it is on the left (south) hand side before you get the the Sheetz. There is also an old hotel behind it advertising weekly rates. Looks like a small bar and was thinking of stopping in sometime. Just curious if anyone has been there.

Hit the strip club scene last night.
Started off at Gatsby's. They actually had some attractive dancers. Got a few dances from one, decent dance but nothing spectacular. Although sometimes these chicks can surprise you, I got the impression nothing extra was going to happen in the VIP, so I didn't ask. I was interested in a few others, true to Gatsby's form they were too busy sitting down talking to each other and not actually trying to earn money. I didn't feel like waiting, so I bailed. Even if they would have gotten off their asses and tried to make money, I got the feeling that I didn't miss too much. I know it was a Wednesday in January, but the place was very slow. A few years ago, there would have been double the customers and girls. I don't care about a lack of customers, of course, but it just goes to show how the strip club scene isn't what it used to be.
The strip club across the street was closed. No great loss there. It could be closed for good because I didn't see any signs of activity.
Went to Lusty's. Same old girls. As I sat at the bar, I overheard that just that night, Kara (skinny brunette, 1,001 tats on her back, sits at the bar and plays video poker like there's no tomorrow) punched out Vanessa. Based on what I overheard, Vanessa was pissing off Kara so Kara just one punched her and ended it. Vanessa's eye was swollen shut, so she tried to cover it up with her hair and wanted to continue to dance, but she just couldn't do it. By the time that I got there, it was all over. I guess Vanessa is a heavy user (probably H) and was annoying Kara or some shit.

I just bought a drink, didn't even get a dance because it was just the same old bunch at Lusty's. I was tempted to try Jen's or Georgie's, but I decided to call it a night.

Sometimes its nice to get away from it all and destroy a 3 star hotel room in the process. Used priceline and got a nice 3 star hotel that was setup like a suite, two seperate rooms with a flat screen in both rooms. Buddy and I split it with the plan on getting nice and drunk, watching some football and then venturing out to see some tittys. And if a couple of girls could be talked back to the hotel, so much the better. Got settled in, had both flat screens facing the beer drinking area and made a few calls for pizza and wings delivery. Funny thing happened, had a coupon for a place called Zeppes but we called a place called Zeppee's. The guy took our order (probably knowing the coupon was for the other joint) , he then tried saying 'that's not our coupon'. My buddy said 'I've got 22 bucks on me, you want to take that or should I call this other place? '. They took the 22 bucks. Best pizza I've had in years, wings were very so-so. Watched half of the game and my buddy wanted to head to gatsbys south for their bucket of beer special. I tried telling him the place sucked but he insisted. We grabbed our bucket and watched the football game since the dancers were all so-so like the wings. Shout out thanks to the Bud rep who bought the bar (and us) a round of beer for drinking Bud products.
Finally left the pathetic Gatsbys South and headed up to Gatsbys North. Much better talent but a fraction of what the place used to be. I find the talent level to be much higher during the week than on the weekends, too many girls are out partying on Saturday to make it worthwhile. Ended up heading over to Mars and had some suprising good dances with a touch of contact. A hope that they are allowing more contact maybe? More likely the girls are doing it because business is so bad. Lots of good looking girls but the room seemed crowded with barely over 21 looking customers. Not much money being exchanged. Seems they are starting a new round of promotions, tuesdays they have taco Tuesday from 6 till 11pm. $1 taco's and a bucket of corona for $5. Giving the beer away. Hotel was right around $70 total. Having two seperate rooms with two flat screens was definately worth the money. My buddy tried his hardest to get takeout, had to laugh at some of his lines and the girls reactions to his sales pitch. I told him time and time again, its hard to pull a girl out a club on a Saturday, too many guys with spending money.
I had a dream or two about a petite brunette probably in the 5' 2" 120 lb roughly 5/6 months ago. The dreams may have occurred on more than one dance floor.

Made a quick tour of Jens, Mars and Gatsby's on Tuesday. Pulled into an empty parking lot at Jens, hardly any guys and roughly a dozen girls. Maybe four good lookers out of the bunch. Was this abnormal, or does Jens require much more "ammo" to have decent fun there? I want to go back there properly, but don't want a repeat of this particular trip.

Well I was in the area and I stopped in to see the place. Very small bar. Kind of a hole in the wall like everyone said but it wasnt bad. There were two girls working. One was older and one was in my opinion very hot. There was only one other guy in there getting dances so got plenty of attention. Had a lot of fun with the one girl. She said her name is Jamie. Went in for a midweek stroll at Gatsby. It was around 4 pm.
