This was not the work of the Congroves who are known to be good people. It is suspected the arson was caused by one of the illegal Tap Tap operations that was setup within blocks of the councilman's residence. Never the less the Congroves have appealed and reapplied for a liquor license. Word on the street has it that Mellissa B may be ruled out of the ownership / management picture. I am sure if you stop into the old CW establishment the family will fill you in.

I looked up their liquor permits on the Ohio Dept of Commerce site. If I'm understanding all the permit types correctly, Absolut Lounge currently has permits to allow them to sell beer, wine, spirits until 2:30 AM Monday through Saturday. They have applied for the Sunday permit but it has not been issued yet. I've never worked with liquor permits before, so I could be mistaken.
