Saw lucky had some new rules posted on their Facebook story. Some normal stuff- the allegedly enforcing the 2 drink minimum and can't bring your own liquor in. Then no women customers unaccompanied. But the last one will either kill the plac or not last too long-$15 cover after 9. Maybe hush or downtown cleveland Christie's might be able to pull that off but not dive bar lucky. And the people they want to not come are probably the only ones that will pay it. Not regular guys like us. The only cover I didn't mind paying too much was when lusty tried it for a few months. But you paid $5 and got 2 drink tickets so they basically were just making you pre pay for your drinks.

Paid for two songs and she acted offended because I didn't add another tip on top of the $60 I spent. I'm not double tipping unless I'm blown away. The price of the dance IS the tip. She was rude and I decided to call it a night.
I am not looking for extras at this point but they were definitely on the table OTS and maybe ITC with the first dancer from Youngstown. She made it very clear she was staying at a local hotel etc etc. Very hands on and forward with her dances. I'm just not ready to cheat on my wife. I'd go back on a different day to see if the scenery changes. 2 beers and out.

I never under any circumstances will go back to the VIP for "just dances" when you can get the exact same treatment or better barside. I stopped going to Dreamer's and Gatsby's because I am not from the area so take out isn't my thing, Gatsby's is too open in the VIP, Dreamers is just too expensive all around. My rounds tend to be Lucky Corner, OGD then Lusty if I strike out. CW's being reopened now has them as my last resort. I have never had any luck from Gspot whatsoever. Akron doesn't have the quality of dancer to be paying for more than 20 or 25 a song regardless of what is happening in the VIP. If you want to pay those prices then save up and make the trip to Detroit.

Just a little follow up report. 3 days after my trip to dreamers I have come down with covid. As nobody else in my household has it, and since I haven't been out in public for several days other than to go to dreamers, I'm 80% confident I got sick from one of the three dancers I spoke to. There was a white dancer who sat next to me for 20 minutes and seemed to have the sniffles and runny eyes. I didn't get a dance from her but my bet is she's the one. She told me it was her first night working there in several years and she'd recently lost her full time job.
So yeh. There you go. The symptoms are at least pretty mild so far.I think when I got it a couple years ago it was from dreamers. Just bc everyone tends to bunch up along the bars and the tables right by the bar. But I can't totally pin it on dreamers. I'm currently more concerned about possibly monkeypox. Lusty even had a sign about it. If I hear it's in northern OHIO I'll probably cut way back on club visits for a bit or until that vaccine is more available.
