After having some midday beers in Akron with a buddy (at a regular pub), I decided to see how far the $90 in my wallet would take me.

OGD has always been hit or miss but it was a miss on my visit Saturday early afternoon. Even though there were 8 or more dancers working and the bar was full, none of the ladies working were interesting.

Looks like the local clubs will be opening back up when the restrictions lift. Doesn't look like dances are a go though. Gatsbys is opening their patio this weekend w only stage dances. Jens and Ogd look like they will be open some next weekend. One of the bartenders from ogd said she didn't think dances would be a go at the beginning. But they also aren't really sure how the rules apply to them. I'd say if you're going out to have low expectations.

Last I heard 12:45 is not going to open back up the reasons I heard is simply that and this is ridiculous the bartenders don't like working there because they don't make much money supposedly and just don't feel like sitting around there when the place is dead so because of that the place closed otherwise it would still be open.
This is going to be interesting. The Akron clubs have always been so strict and have followed every Ohio state and local laws to a tee.Some think this virus will just go away and fizzle out by August and I really hope that becomes true. Otherwise these clubs will become hot spots, so they may be under a lot more scrutiny than in the past.

If I had to guess things will probably go back to normal sooner than later as far as this virus goes Humanity has developed immunity to chickenpox measles polio and other viruses over the last few decades I think within a couple years they'll be vaccines medicine and we will develop immunity and hopefully this will be like it never happened. Once they make their money of vaccines and medicines and other things off this virus I think people realize they miss normal life and hopefully this never happens again.

It might be worth it to open only because of the distancing guidelines and having more space to navigate with 2 bars as opposed to 1.
I'm not sure how big up the radar these bars will be on the police list. Even when places like la and Ogd are 'busy' it's like 10 customers in there. LA is a big space and really shouldn't have issues because they could just move tables to the side of the bar with the bigger stage. I think the more legit bars will attract more attention with over crowding than the dancer bars.

Took the bullet and went to see what's up. They are only doing stage dances which consist of the dancer dancing on top of the pool table while everyone watches from six feet distance. Also they have another rule 2 dancers and 9 dudes allowed inside at a time. Stayed for a beer and left. We will see how long they keep to that.

Lurking for more than a decade. I couldn't help myself. Early afternoon today. Here's what I found:
OGD- open for business. 5 guys I. There. Bartender wearing masks. 2 Dancers (hanna and chubby girl with nice nipples can't think of name) bathroom is locked with a sign that says no bathroom use allowed. I bounced as I had to whizz bad.
Lustys- open for business. Bartender wearing mask. Saw one dancer the grandma like dark haired woman, also had a mask. 2 customers I ran in as quick as I walked in.
G-Spot- open for business. No smoke smell anymore! 2 dancers one dark skinned granny with huge belly and the annoying and pushy "Sasha" from OGD who states she had her baby in February. Still pushy, still a no thanks. Said that dances in the bar are 6 feet away but dances in the back continue as normal. Had one cold one and bounced out.
Dreamers- closed. They had construction workers taking sheets of drywall in / out.
Struck out big time and felt like a degenerate being there, but I still enjoyed the adventure to see what would be available on opening day. Good luck and be safe.
Jen's- one dancer. Very think white woman with dentures. Not my cup of tea. Bartender was a black Roman wearing a mask. Had one beer and ran.

Only stage dances. Gspot was open after someone mentioned they got busted. From what I heard from other places it was just a random check. I went on Saturday and it looked like they could still give private dances. I didn't stick around any amount of time bc I saw sassy and the other girls were bigger. Lucky no dancers right now. They took their pole down. Girls are supposed to start coming back sometime this week. Supposedly they took out the private room so not sure what they will be doing. Jens and boom boom are the best right now. No floor dances but stage and private dances. Got dances at both and it was like old times. Full on grinding no air dances. Only drawback is they still have to build the rosters back up it appears. I'm guessing the difference between places like Jens / boom boom and la / ogd is a space thing. If they keep an eye out for inspectors the private rooms at Jens / boom are big enough he dancers could be away from a customer and not violate the rules. Ogd / la have those closets that aren't big enough to make that seem believable. That's just my guess no confirmation from anyone. It sounds like the inspectors made their rounds to check things at open. Don't know if they will do random checks unless something attracts their attention.

Said they would be back soon. Don't believe it. I doubt they made enough money for the day between 2-5, there probably weren't any there to begin with. I've been there 2 - 3 times per year since around 2016. The first time was with an old buddy who's a "hang arounder" at one the local MCs. Keely- light skinned black girl. Tall and thin. She's always been pushy and I suspected wouldn't deliver decent dances so I avoided her. Do know a buddy had her and another girl over his house for a private experience but she didn't do anything extra but he didn't ask either.
Jessica- not the one from Ogd, luckys. This on is a brunette. Tall a bit thicker than keely. They tend to hang out together. Ok dancer but kind of robotic. Both of them bounce around Jens, omega, boom boom.
Raven- small goth spinner. Think her teeth might be a bit messed up. Heard she may do otc.
Skylar- around 40's. Thin but not super tight but good for that age range. Changes the color of her hair a lot but it's generally got red or purple highlights.
I generally go on Saturday or Sunday from 10-close. There are some other ok looking girls. These are some of the better looking ones that I know the names of and likely will be back. Jens can be a bit of a gamble. There are some long time consistent girls and others are flashes in the pan.
I had some free time on Saturday afternoon and made the rounds to several of the Akron Clubs to see for myself what is going on.
OGD: They paved the parking lot! Great Job! I am not sure when it was done, but I don't remember it pre-Covid. OGD is now open from 1 P-9 P daily. I arrived at 1:30 and found four customers and just one dancer. Beer prices haven't changed There are just four seats at the bar and five tables with one seat each (two are in the back where the pool table used to be. . . The pool table is pushed against the back wall, eliminating the table that used to be back there). Customer limit is 9 and I am told that there is a limit of three dancers. Not much was going on so I left and came back about two hours later. It was a little more active then with two dancers (Ruby & Mika) working. Each were giving the $5 table dance similar to the ones before the Covid hit. VIP is closed though I am told that the dancers have been known lately to take a break from the club for a car date. . . I did not opt for this. Things may loosen up as more time passes leading to more customers and more dancers. The men's room is padlocked (you have to use the ladies room).
Lusty's: I arrived around 2 and found two dancers working. I think the sign said the minimum for customers is 12 but I forgot to write it down. There are just three seats now at the bar with two tables against the wall. They cleaned up the stage near the front of the bar but nobody used it. The curtain covering the VIP area is gone and nothing is inside it anymore (no chair, etc.). Private dances still $5 and still very hands on. They are all being done in the previously unused second room with the pool table being removed and the stage area in the front being cleaned up to create two dance stations (very little privacy) The Beacon Journal is still readily available, as is its sister paper from Hartford, though I did not opt for either. I am not sure that anything more is available and since the dancer I opted for emitted and foul odor from her southern area, I am pretty sure that nobody would want more. The men's room is padlocked (you have to use the ladies room).
CW: Looked like business as usual, though the girls all had masks (some even wore them). Arrived around 2:30 to find three girls working, three customers at the bar along with the hot MILF bartender and one other girl who appeared to be an off duty worker. Ordered a $1. 50 Coors Light and got dances from two of the three girls but each featured a lot of air and very little grinding. . . None from the one dancer and a little from the second. The three dancers ranged from a 5-6. 5 and each appeared to have added a little weight during the quarantine. The bathroom is open and remains moderately clean (you can lock the door).
G Spot: Went to this place for the first time and was welcomed by Sasha. . . The obnoxious former dancer from OGD. . . And was unable to shake her. She looked okay before her pregnancy but now features a much fuller figure. It took a minute to recognize her. There was one other dancer and it looks like the front room (just inside the door and away from the bar) is not being used. I got out as quickly as I could so I didn't sample the dances.
On my way back to Cleveland, I drove down Brookpark past the clubs. . . Secrets, Ambers, Gigi's and the Crazy Horse were all closed.

Although that was just desirees really. Gspot used to close around 10 or 11 before the shutdown. Jens close a little early last week. They don't open you til 7 on Sundays. Boom boom opens at 5. I think lucky a gspot are open earlier. Lucky might close a little early on Sundays as well.

Jens doesn't open until 4 on weekdays and 7 on weekends. When I've had off on a weekday I haven't gone there before 5 or 6. Depending on who was working there was 2-3 girls. I'd say Jens probably has the most turnover in girls in the akron area. Now la and Ogd normally open at 11 but it's 1 right now. The earliest I've been to one of them was around noon and girls were there. It's all a crapshoot.

Not going to give the club money if they can't get dancers to come in. This will motivate them to get dancers in the club if enough guys take this approach.

Pulled into LA tonight (Sat) about 850 p. Dude pulling out told me not to bother. They close in 10 minutes and there are no girls anyhow.
So walked straight back to my car and went to OGD.
Several cars in the lot, few people loitering outside the door.
