The thing about small clubs like richards is that they care less about broken rules. Theyre more laid back and their business is somewhat slow (which you guys know is good for us). Paper moon is strict and lapdances arent cheap. Theyre strict about no touching they got bouncers. Anyways always ask what the girl is cool with. I'll check out other clubs and report results.

Pure pleasure is better with better looking women and cheaper prices for beers.

I have been sort of bent out of shape by the lack of options in strip clubs. I am from the Southwest VA area and there is only G&S in Roanoke and some terrible clubs in WV (like Sweet Dreams in Bluefield and Southern XPosure in Princeton) as possible options nearby. I had a chance at take out in Sweet Dreams but I think the girls there are unhealthy to the umpteenth degree. You might even get STDs from just lusting let alone touching. Plus, there is a great chance of getting robbed, shot, etc. On the other hand, SX in Princeton was a bit more classier but the talent was horrible. Plus management are major donkeys. I have been to G&S in Roanoke which has good to fair talent, but haven't succeeded in takeouts yet. Also, it kinda gets boring going to the same place every time. Now, I am actively searching for good alternatives in Richmond. I wonder if any of them would be better than G&S in Roanoke.
If you have been to the G&S in Roanoke, would you say it is better than the ones in Richmond? I'm more interested in a comparison between the least expensive clubs like Daddy Rabbits, Candy Bar, Richards, etc. I don't think PM was made for the average Joe. I would also appreciate stories of attempts and success rates at takeouts, if possible.

Never been to gold and silver (fully nude correct) but have been to cherry bomb (used to be the pussycat lounge), peak a boo, sweet dreams and SE. Never recived nor wanted take out from any. I will be in SW va quite a bit so if you want to pm some more info on G&S that would be great.

Back in '10 a decent looking blonde at PM downtown slipped me her number as I left, got takeout a couple days later. Haven't been there since so I can't really judge the success rate.
I haven't been to any local clubs in over a year, but I have had some luck at PP. One was take-out and the other was dine-in.
This was a while ago, when the private dances were on what was the restaurant / full bar side the last time I was there. I got a private from a blonde dancer. While in the booth, she pulls out a pocket rocket and places it in my hand and told me to play with her during the dance. I come back a week or two later, get a 10 min private dance from the same chick. She says she has a surprise for me and pulls a condom out! For those that remember the layout, the corner booth was the best one for private dances. Anyway, at the start we were the only ones back there. She wrapped it up and proceeded to ride me for the entire 10 minutes. Oops.
Now about a year and a half ago, I stop in during happy hour and chat up this brunette dancer. Good convo, got a dance or two and left. She is there an complaining about how slow it is and that she's not making any money. So I say, "How about I give you $$ to get out of here with me? I don't see this place getting busy before your shift ends at 7." She agrees. I leave and 10 min later she meets me in the Arby's parking lot by The old Cloverleaf mall. We go out for lunch, have a few drinks, an go back to my place. Dream included a fully nude dance, BBBJCIM, and MSOG.
These are my only wins in the strip club scene. I do think you may have more success with take out by getting to know a dancer that works in the early afternoon. Be a gentleman, don't be a creep, and pop in on some very slow afternoons. I don't think you're going to be successful during a busy time when there is plenty to be made in the club. I don't frequent strip clubs, as they are just not my thing. Hell I don't even get an escort unless it's been a while for me not receiving sex. My thing is massage. But I've been to clubs many of times over the years from Kentucky and West Virginia and NYC. Unfortunately those three states are similar to those here in our own town. I've heard that Miami, Canada, and Tennessee are the best places but that's all second hand and will have to see it for myself. But I have had success on many occasions as far as "take out" here in richmond. Anything done in the club are just things that may be against the rules but not frowned upon, HE over the pants, make out, touching, etc. I've never gotten more than that in the clubs here, but the opportunity to set something up outside of the work place is very apparent and I only choose attractive ones to pursue anything. Again YMMV, but here's what has worked for me in the past:
Note: I'm posting this because I just landed a super hot girl from a place here in Richmond.
1. The girls like good looking guys. Clean yourself up and make yourself look hot to them.
2. I always ask their real name as I'm not interesting in calling them ginger or spice.
3. Be yourself. Don't be the pervert that's in there to get laid. That won't yet you very far at all.
4. Money has never been mentioned when meeting with these girls. Most of these girls are just like us. They like to go out for drinks, maybe dance and hook up.
5. I never cave in to a lap dance at first. I'll make them wait it out or I'll say something like let's go have a dance so I can too you more than just dollar bills (yes that actually sounds good Believe it or not.
6. Stay away from the crackheads and bitches. Most of those girls there Are just there to collect there tips and go without giving to $hits about you. I understand that but in a service industry style place you have to put forth the effort just as of you were waiting tables or bartending in a restaurant.
7 if you've worked for tips before make sure to mention that because that has always been a good turn on to them because they feel they can relate to you, in a way.
8. Don't just focus on the dancers. Some places have hot bar girls and waitresses that you may actually get further with than the dancers. I've gotten lap dances from front door girls and waitresses before depending on the location and nights.
9. The final thing is just good luck. A lot of these girls as slutty As some make them to be aren't that bad at all. It's a great way to make money and if I were in magic mike shape I would be doing it too.
Hope this is worth the read and taken onto consideration. This is just what works for me in RVA. Also make sure you have money. Spent $200 last night and that's cheap.
Went there tonight, very slow but the girls where beautiful. 2 especially got my attention. One black light skinned girl with blonde highlighted braids, she was simply fine head to toe. The other tall white girl nice slim body short dark hair and glasses. She reminded me of a hot librarian or secretary. Haven't been to a strip club in awhile, but their prices are higher than we I use to visit. Didn't get anything special, but definitely, will repeat and had to go down Hull St to find some quick action afterwards.

-Stainless.I went to Richards are for first time and it went cool. Got a private from cutesy gal who had no implants. 20 for a bikini dance, she we pleasing and nice long hair and had great moves. Her name I believe was starting with Cr** not sure of full name due to loud music.
I tipped her another 10 on top of dance not sure if that made any difference in her approach but she was talking casually and felt comfortable.
Any inputs for others who have been there recently and had good experiences?

After couple of weeks again went to Pure Pleasure. All dancers were good and mixed type. I particularly found 2-3 girls cute and they were hot, particularly Barbie, Treasure and Genesis. This is a pastie dance gentleman's club and had good choice of girls.

I apologize if I have rambled or included stuff I should not, or left out stuff I shouldn't. This sort of board is new to me, I only stumbled on it as I was searching for information on various practitioners. Besides SC I really have little experience with anything else in the Central VA region.
I was there on a Friday night about 3 weeks ago. I was actually down in Midlothian visiting a bartender friend and was going to do something else as well, but that turned out to be cancelled.
I had always wanted to try PP but last time I set out to find it I seemed to miss it At night, it was a lot easier to see it from Route 60. Since I live considerably North and West of Chesterfield I don't get to the neighborhood a lot.

I sat for a bit and made sure to tip the waitress nicely for my beer. I had heard there ws also a restaurant but I wasn't really hungry and probably didn't need any bourbon either, so I don't know how the restaurant side works. Would be interesting to see sometime.

I tipped a few other girls on stage, the blonde one coming off the stage zeroed in on me, or so it seems. Maybe it was because I slipped her 3 bucks at once, but that isn't unusual for me, since I am unlikely to have the time to sit around in the club for a long tme waiting for things to happen. By the way I say she was blonde, she might have been reddish or just light brown sometimes in the lighting it is kind of hard to tell. Given her insistance I decided to do a 10 minute with her.
Moriah had a body about like Amber but I think slightly more ample breasts and rear. Of course, I might just remember them because she encouraged me to caress them. She was very tactile and I don't want to say anything that would get her in trouble, but I felt really good after her dance. That is not to imply there was a HE or anything close to that. I doubt such would ever be on the table ITC, and given that she says she usually works very late shifts starting around 9 PM on the weekends, I would suspect she woulnd't have availability OTC, if she was even interested in doing such. Still, water costs more in a desert. Every time I hear about how Richmond is a "Food Desert" I think to myself "that's not the only thing that's dry here ". Even though it wasnt probably enough for most of the guys here who go for massages, etc; if you were just looking for a strip club my experience at PP was good enough that I felt compelled to write about it (and contrast that to my earlier recent visit to PMD).
So I will definitely be back to PP, even if I ever work up the nerve to try some other form of adult entertainment here in Richmond. That might happen since I am unlikely to ever do much travel for that purpose.

I've found that the Richmond strip club scene is a bit different than that of most cities. I've been to strip clubs throughout the country, and Richmond's strip clubs seem to have their own culture, so to speak, where in most of the clubs, the dancers are less likely to hustle and approach men, and often they tend to hang out with their friends or with guys they know, or their boyfriends, who come watch them in the club. This often leaves the customers dissatisfied, as men tend to go to strip clubs to interact with the women, and not just to watch them on stage.
For example, I've been to Pure Pleasure four times in the last couple of years. In those four times, only twice did a girl approach me to chat, hustle, and eventually sell a dance. I noticed that the girls who did approach me were treating their job at Pure Pleasure like a job, I. E. , they are there to make money. Most of the girls at Pure Pleasure (and I've noticed the same thing at Richards and at Club Rouge) seem to be less concerned with hustling and meeting potential customers, and are more likely to just dance and then hang out at the bar, in the dressing room, chat with their friends, etc.
I have found that Paper Moon, both downtown and Southside, provides me with a better strip club experience than the other clubs in the Richmond area. Paper Moon seems to be run like a business, which means that the girls who work there will actively look for customers to chat with and form ITC relationships with in order to sell dances. This benefits both the girls and the customers. The dances are too expensive, but that's true of everywhere in Richmond. The waitresses tend to be hot and friendly. And some of the more annoying Paper Moon habits, like having a guy take your money in the private dance area and often give you attitude, or act territorial with the girls, have been changed, so that now another girl takes your money. I tend to recommend Paper Moon over the other clubs in RVA, if you're looking to get attention from girls and lap dances. They updated the interior but their prices have sky rocketed.
When I sat down and asked the waitress on average how much for a lap dance it started off a whole process.
I had a guy in a suite escort me to a back room where they had a board with prices. I think the cheapest dance was for $50 bucks. I almost laughed out loud. No way I am paying.
$50 for a 3 minute dance. They had bottle service and a bunch of other times. I like what they did to the place but I also miss the old days when you could get a hot chick.

I actually haven't been to a club around here ina while either. Last time I was going to them I was a frequent at pure. When it comes to action on the streets Richmond is much better with $30-$40 FS and <$50 motel rooms. DC is dry, for the size of the city it is extremely dry.

Other reviews have not been all that positive so I didn't have high expectations going in. Cover on this Tuesday evening was $11 and I got a $7 Corona from a very cute bartender. She was chatting with some guy when I first came in, then left him to come chat with me and after she had made herself comfortable with me, he decided that he wanted a private dance with her. While I was waiting for Electra to return, Trinity stopped by and chatted. She is a really cute spinner type, very hard and lean body, and as I already mentioned, an excellent pole dancer. 1. I go to enjoy the girls; the club has a different agenda. You are going to pay a cover wherever you go. That's THEIR money as far as I'm concerned.
2. Cash thrown to a dancer on stage is ALL hers. She typically doesn't have to share with the club. She will come by those who tip her on stage, give a quick hug and say thanks.
3. I prefer to sit at a table rather at stageside. When she comes by will typically sit with you and actually chat. Still, get up and tip but return to your table. They know who does what.
4. Tip all the dancers; especially when things get slow. Lots of guys show up and nurse their beer but expect the girls to work for a buck tip. That's when I move and start throwing cash. Those idiots seem to feel like it is a competition and the bucks start flowing. The girls really recognize and appreciate.
5. Lap dances typically go to the girls 100%. Private rooms are usually 50/50 split. I would much rather toss $60 to a girl on stage that I know she gets to keep. Besides, "private rooms" are really not very private and the staff monitors them closely. (Read. You will not get laid in a private room). The girls a pressured by the club to get private rooms between sets. Gee, wonder why.
6. Expect to pay $7-10 for a beer. Many places will serve only beer or wine, some places (PA in particular) don't serve at all, but you can bring your own but will be charged a "corkage fee" to imbibe.
7. The whole champagne deal is a total rip. You basically get a $7 bottle for $50+. Club always makes a big deal out of it, again wonder why. More cash in their pocket.
8. Taking a stripper home is tricky, even if she is game. Staff watches them closely, even when they leave for the night. If she gets in your car she will likely be fired. If you think you have found someone game arrange to meet somewhere well away from the club. DON'T try to take her in you car from the club.
9. The DJ takes requests, if you have a particular tune in mind just approach the DJ and ask. Don't forget to tip him a couple of bucks.
10. Frequency counts. Regulars get attention from all the girls, especially if you drop some cash (talking a few $$ They appreciate your patronage and will recognize you when you come in.
These are just my observations, please feel free to correct or add your own. While I have had some great times at clubs, I have had many more disappointments.
Lastly, it is very helpful to take a buddy with you, especially if it's the first time at that club. Takes away the "perve" signal and at least you will have a wingman. The girls seem to notice and helps put them at ease.

On Fridays and Saturdays at 2 AM at Southside, everyone moves to the VIP room for some $20 lap dances and a relatively more intimate show (it's a smaller room). I'm not sure how the Paper Moon at Scott's Addition or the one in NOVA work. Some of the girls have told me that they go to ODC after hours occasionally after the joint closes.
