While it's certainly possible, depending on the personal connection and other YMMV factors, to get a HE from an individual masseuse at a fully legit MP, the most important point to remember is that you can NEVER expect or demand one. There have been a lot of posts in the past from mongers who get a massage from a legit spa and then make a fuss when they don't get anything extra and walk out without leaving a tip.
I can't speak for others but before I ever walk into an MP I'm already 99% sure whether or not extras are available. Forum reports, where they advertise, and the physical characteristics of the spa are all part of the calculation. If, for whatever reason, I'm not sure, then I treat it as a fully legit spa and my mindset is to enjoy a nice massage and leave an appropriate (usually 20%) tip. If something during the massage happens that makes me think more is possible, I'll certainly "go with the flow" without being pushy.
So, for FF and other fully legit spas, my suggestion is to expect nothing more than a professional massage. If a pleasant surprise happens, that's great. But it would be a mistake to think other masseuses at that spa will also do HE or even that the same masseuse will do it on future visits. At a fully legit spa she is literally risking her job if she does.If you've been in this game long enough, you know exactly what's legit and what's not. Finally got a chance to see Jessie at ST. When I arrived I was greeted by another provider who led me to my room. I've never had this happen before and I should've thought more into it. Late Saturday around 9:30 ish PM, I just became free and was in the mood for a massage. I was around the Fairfax area and most options near by were about to close by 10 pm. I happened to be in the Herndon / Sterling area this past Thursday evening and decided to try Herndon Therapy for the first time.

The problem with some of the newer Thai providers is that they're treating the 120 as a base price and expecting a tip even for a standard HE.
There are still plenty who don't think that way (ex. KK, Tara, Nalee, Sophie, Alexa, etc.) and those are the ladies who have earned my continued business. Also, because I like all of them and appreciate their great customer service, I usually leave an extra tip anyway, which makes them happy and gives me a bit of cred with them as a generous regular.

I think $100 for a BJ isn't outrageous. Anything more than that is approaching the $140 I understand to be a FS rate. I don't want FS and there seems to be little discount for just a BJ. I just got back from my third visit there. I saw Hannah the last two times and she is wonderful. She does a great massage. Had some business in the 7 Corners area today and remembered that some members had good things to say about Seven Therapy (aka Evergreen Wellness) in that area. Figured to try them and I called ahead and confirmed availability and went. 2nd floor location in an older medical office complex, was greeted by Jennifer (the Manager as others have pointed out), very friendly and smile from ear to ear. Not a youngin, but not a grandma either and IMO fairly attractive. The spa itself was very clean with spacious rooms. Taken to the room and usual questions asked, accepted the TS. I wish I could vote this up because I couldn't agree more. No one seems to know "the code" and so everyone uses something different.Before I became an avid poster, I was a nameless onlooker. I remember first discovering the site and being so confused by the shorthand and the lingo. All the codes that I had to decipher. To me, it was part of the game, the puzzle, the fun. Like a proper investigator I explored all avenues of the site, to be honest the "codes" pretty easy to crack, there's an "abbreviations" tab that one can easily locate and memorize, and I did, hell that was half the fun of it. In order to reap the harvest, one must work for it, and, in addition to that work, respect the tools of the trade. I spent months on this board RTTF, collecting information, applying it, learning from it, harvesting the fruits of labor that lets face it, was done by somebody else. There has to be some respect given to that, and to put it bluntly, if you're not going to actively contribute to the forum and just take take take, the least one can do is properly learn and use the codes that are at our disposal. It's a harsh stance sure, probably outdated too. But I'll take the opportunity to play Devils advocate here in the bare hopes that more people here become active contributors before remaining active takers. It's not all that confusing once you learn it, it's just being mishandled. If we make the information on the board easier to access / understand we maybe doing ourselves a greater disservice.
