The pins are camera locations.I moved here from San Diego over 7 years ago. I have a relative in SDPD who shared a lot a details about those infamous street cameras when I lived there, still works there. I don't know jack shit what Tampa does, but I believe what I am going to say applies all over.
After 9/11, PD's all over the country got lots of money to install street cameras. Some cameras have the ability to send some video to monitors, or even selected cruisers on the street, but that is rare and almost never happens. A lot of the cameras you see are not even used. They are there for show. The ones that are being used simply feed video to hard drives.
Lots of cities have flashing blue lights on them so that people will easily see them and go "oh fuck! I best behave, somebody is watching!" Studies have shown this is true that crime goes down in those areas, even if the camera is a dummy and not real.
Let me give you an example. The one at 142/15 likely just feeds video to a drive, same with the plate reader. They don't have the manpower to have someone sitting behind a monitor watching boring shit hours after hours. Let's say that late tonight, someone is robbed near that corner. The cops simply retrieve the video for the time period and someone watches it for gathering evidence.
The ones in San Diego are on a loop, like 7 days. Nothing happens in 7 days, it writes over the old video.
Bottom line, the cameras are nothing to fear. If you pickup a hoe in front of one, no big deal, nobody is watching. If you run over a hoe near that corner, you got problems. Expect a knock at your door shortly after.

They don't have the manpower to have someone sitting behind a monitor watching boring shit hours after hours. Let's say that late tonight, someone is robbed near that corner. The cops simply retrieve the video for the time period and someone watches it for gathering evidence.

Bottom line, the cameras are nothing to fear. If you pickup a hoe in front of one, no big deal, nobody is watching. If you run over a hoe near that corner, you got problems. Expect a knock at your door shortly after.

I pulled the map off of the sheriff's website. I have no idea what the different colors of the pins mean. I edited the original map to add a pin to show the new update when a camera near 12th and 142nd. If you look closely you can see the shadow of that pin is just a little short.
Anyway the map is what it is. I'm aware of the cameras and act accordingly.

I thought things were pretty dead when I was out for drive yesterday afternoon. The rain had subsided though and I thought, now's my chance. Earlier in the week I picked up Michelle close to the Todd. She got the job done, but a bit too toothy with the headache relief due to a dental problem, so I wasn't going to repeat.
Things looked bad until I crossed the bridge and saw a short brunette with shoulder length curly hair. I doubled back and scooped her up just as the rain started again.

I was on my way home and decided to drive up Nebraska and between Broad and Bird there must have been 10 different WSW, some cute. More kinda rough lookin. And then again Between Bush and Linbaugh there must have been another 5 (though some might have been trannys. In the couple of years I have been in Tampa I've tended to stick to the clubs because I have not been very successful with finding SW (I am probably just bad at it), but tonight I saw more out than I have ever seen at once. Did not see any LEO, but that does not mean they were not there. I was not in a position to try and scoop any of them up but it's easy pickings tonight. Stay safe!

Cindy never seen her before. Said she's never done this before. Found her at Wawa. Very nice girl said she was 22 but I'm guessing late 20's. No sign of any candy habits. Followed her to her room you could tell she's been there for a while but it was very clean it didn't even smell of smoke. Stayed for about 3 1/2 maybe 4 hours. Had a great time. She never asked for anything but I left her 60 on the nightstand. Has a phone but wouldn't give me her number had me write my number down and said she would call me. Cindy said she wasn't from around here but she had a Florida tag on her car.Maybe a dumb question but which Wawa?

Took a few drives around, seen a few SW here and there, haven't picked one up yet. Guess I'm being very careful because I'm new to Tampa. Like right now, ready to head out and see what's out there but I not comfortable enough to partake. I've read the forums on how to pick up a SW, etc. Still worried I'll mess it up LOL.
I did come across this and thought to myself, haven't seen anyone on this forum mention this. Must be fake. Can anyone with a tad more longevity in Tampa confirm or deny this? Seems like it isn't true, but wanted to confirm. This link says its OK to partake on Nebraska, fake right?
