On my way home from work I always go down 140th, just to see if there is anything worth while there. Tonight when I went down, first I see a guy and girl standing right by the tracks. The girl gives me the look, waves, she seemed okay, however the dude next to her looks like he just got out of prision and is ready to kill someone. Sure I"m going to pick that one up.

The neighborhoods you are trolling in, be it Tampa, or wherever, are just not pedestrian friendly, especially to strangers.
I've heard of others who've used this tactic before, and maybe it's the best strategy for a high-density environment like a large city. But wouldn't advise trying it in Tampa, and hell, I think it would probably spook most of the SW's to have a trick walk up and start negotiating, anyway.

It's actually better to drive around. The best places to drive would be on Nebraska ave, from Bearss all the way down to Hillsborough avenue. Even then, be sure to check out what your possibly going to pick up before you do. There are some that just pose as SW. They could turn out to be somthing your just not interested in. Best advice, if they want to do business at your window and not inside your car, don't touch it also check for an adam's apple.

As an occasional visitor to your fair city, I thought you local punters might enjoy seeing the offerings of Tampa last night through a non-resident's set of eyes.

I live near Neb and Busch and I had some time on my hands early this morn so I figured I'd take a drive on the stroll.

I was driving east on Hillsborough heading to the Hard Rock this morning at around 4:30 and saw this cute dirty blond about 5'5 wearing a blue shirt walking toward the overpass near dollar store. Of the bacterial STDs only gonorrhea and nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) are transmitted through oral sex; chlamydia is not and without an obvious sore or lesion on your partner's mouth, the chances of syphilis and herpes is likewise tiny. If you had gotten gonorrhea or NGU you would have most likely developed symptoms of urethritis (penile infection) within 5-7 days of exposure. Even if your partner had an STD (any STD and it is likely she did not) , most exposures do not lead to infection. As far as testing is concerned, in the absence of symptoms, testing is really for your own reassurance.

I live about 15 minutes from the area you mentioned. They are there, but it is very hit or miss. More miss than hit IMHO, but from time to time, even in the middle of the night they can be found on 41. The area has been documented on the board before. I don't suggest anyone make a special trip to cruise the area, but if you are passing through it's worth a quick detour.
I have seen walkers as far south as the Circle K at 41 and Ohio and as far north as the bridge overpass north of Gibsonton. The area between Nundy and Symmes seems to yield the best results. Gibsonton east of 41 for about a mile has also yielded a sighting or two.

I decided to take the scenic route home from work yesterday and took US-41 south towards Apollo Beach. As I was driving through Gibsonton between Gibsonton Drive and Symmes, I noticed a cute blonde walking in the rain. We made eye contact and she waved. Found myself passing through your fair city last night with some spare time and you-know-what on my mind. I cruised through all the usual spots, and finally struck pay dirt in the infamous Nowatney. I'll stop here and tell you guys right now, you may not know it yet, but you all are spoiled! At one time or another I've been in every major city in the state, and from Tallahassee to Miami, and IMHO there's no more consistent location for low-rent mongering that this little area. In less than 10 minutes I spotted 4 or 5 very do-able WGs round about 11 PM. I even saw 'Mindy' as recently covered by your prolific resident photo-journalist at post #347 on the the Photo Gallery thread. (a tip-o'-me hat to you Skippy my Man) That strawberry blonde hair and slender build will catch your eye, and I even slowed down and teased her that I hardly recognized her without the pink jacket; that got me a laugh and a smile. But for some reason she didn't really suit my tastes so I drove on. I'm glad I did.
On the very next swoop through the zone I spied Terri out on Nebraska in front of the trailer park just north of 140th. She's about 40 yo. 5 feet nothin', large natural cups, and perhaps a bit thicker than what the average monger might be looking for, but I'm all about attitude vs. Appearance, though she is still cute in my book. She later confirmed a recent stay with our favorite Uncle had puffed her up a bit. Now I never make a scoop on Nebraska, nor any major street, so I turned and cruised through the trailer park. And third, when I have relented in the past, I usually start to see those 'thousand mile stares', raging paranoia, and most distracting of all, that mindless, endless searching for God-knows-what in her purse, on the floor, etc. Any who have experienced these annoying behaviors from a Provider know exactly what I'm talking about.
She starts to sell me hard on this proposal, even offering to leave her purse and cellphone in my car as collateral of her good intentions to return ASAP. Did I mention she also informed me this would allow her to enjoy the session MUCH more, and had the added affect of turning her into a bona-fide little freak? OK, I'll admit it, she had me at the word 'freak'. I decided that I've wasted. 2 on far less than this in the past, so I gave in and waited, and I'll be damned if she didn't show right back up in about 4 minutes with a big smile on her face. Any Newbs reading this should know I took a big risk here, and not one I'd recommend as a general rule. Losing a little coin is the least of your worries in a situation like this, and it can all go 'south' in a hurry. At any rate, we cruised on over to my local no-tel of choice where Terri took a quick shower, brushed her teeth (Man do I love a squeaky clean woman!) and hopped right into bed. I'm happy to report her 'candy' caused none of the usual bad symptoms I've observed in the past.
I won't bore you guys with all the gory details from here (I know, 'bore me, BORE ME! ') , but suffice to say, for the next 3 hours we explored just about everywhere our carnal knowledge could lead us. I got everything I want and then some; she had a couple of screaming o's and I got to enjoy a true GFE.

I've been using US-41 on a regular basis and always seem to find the usual bunch of girls between Gibsonton Drive and Symmes Road at just about any hour. I just left there tonight and there were no less than 4 girls out. I usually always see at least 2. LEO was pretty heavy out there all day today but I managed to pick up an older white girl named Missy. She was probably mid 40's or so with blonde hair and nice legs. From my experience, it will run about. 20 and. 40 in that area.
From I-75 take exit 250 and head west about 2 miles to US-41 and turn left. Most of the activity will be right after the turn onto US-41 for about another mile. You can continue south about another 4 miles to Big Bend Road and take a left to get back on I-75.

I just relocated here & after catching up on the good info here, I ventured out to see who was available.
I started at Nebraska & Hillsborough, I headed east on Hillsborough, nothing to my likings was out. There were a few straglers but I was looking for a "gem" to bust my Floridian monger "cherries".
I came back west on Hillsborough, went north on Nebraska, missed out on a cute blond getting into another mongers car by one of those 5-star motels. I proceeded north till I hit Fowler. Turned East on Fowler & went till I hit BB Downs, nothing, nada zip!
I made a uturn, headed back down West on Fowler, turned north on Nebraska & hit Fletcher & headed East again. It was just plain dry out. I came back down to Nebraska & went back south & I caught Laura walking north. I made eye contact & pulled a you-turn & made the pickup on a side street.

Was in town a couple of days ago and did the Nowatney / Nebraska drive early evening. Nebraska north of Fowler turned up nothing. The streets around 140th had plenty of WSW out and about. Hello, everyone, I am kinda new to the whole forum thing and was hesitant about this stuff because of LEO being in the center of the Nowatney area. But I decided to check 139th and 140th today and there was LEO like at every corner, so I wanted to know if there is any good time to go out there. I wanted to try tomorrow again but should I go in the morning or something. Any help would be great.
I drive that area for work every day. The LEO activity is unusually high for some reason. Thursday was the worst I have ever seen it.
Leo activity has been ongoing since the 13th. Time to lay low.

I cruised through there yesterday on my way to Lutz and saw several marked with some of them out of their vehicles in their fatigues. I kinda think that may be a drug thing going on.

Just out at 7am and 3 leo at the 'cut' on 140 and 15th taking someone for a Sunday ride to the orient hotel. Most the girls are staying away from Nowatney these days. The "street ears" tell me its a part of a nine month LEO investigation and most likely will be quiet in Nowatney for a while. Even some of the die-hards like Alyssa are planing on leaving. May want to try Hillsbrough ave, or other trusty spots.

I think it is hit or miss regarding LEO around Nowatney. I was out in the area on Friday around noon for about an hour and didn't see any LEO activity, but the girls were nowhere to be found either!
Sunday was a different story. I saw a few marked cars and what looked like an undercover around 140th around 11 am. Saw Brandi but didn't risk it.
Be careful out there.

Early am hunt, spotted two WSW, one whose undead facial bone structure suggested to stay away, and another very thin, blond wearing a red shirt and cutoff blue shorts. The blond caught my eye, but was strolling with company. I stuck around and sure enough, her company changed. Several passes but she didn't give me the look. She has her hair all the way down to her butt.

Any way I was wondering if anyone has seen or spent time with a pretty 20 yo WSW, strawberry-blonde hair, freckles and looks fresh. Last seen around 70th street and E. Broadway? I think she had a run-in with Uncle Leo but looks like a first timer.
Had the opportunity to doing a little 'touring' in the Nebraska / Nowatney areas the other night, and in general, the pickings were slim as they say. To make matters worse, I wound up accidentally making a swoop and scoop on a He-She. Now I know you more experienced mongers are sitting there saying, 'Check the hands, man, the knotted up calf muscles, and the presence of an Adam's apple for Christ's sake. ' But let's be honest, if you enjoy this little hobby long enough, you're eventually going to face this awkward moment, even if you are very diligent. For this very reason alone, I would never troll while 'buzzed' or drunk; full mental faculties at all times. Believe me, I've had the opportunity to observe some of the best 'Gender-Benders' in the world at work in Asia and Latin America. Those folks have raised the skills of camouflage to a high art form when compared to our basic home-grown Tranny. And if that kind of action is what you are looking for, the USASG is definitely NOT for you and Jackson intends to keep it so.
So my experience the other night set me to thinking, how do others handle this situation? For both your amusement and edification I thought I'd tell you what I have found works for me, gained partially through some painful experiences, but also from some simple observation of human nature.
Right here I'll state what NOT to do, which is precisely what I did so many years ago during my first encounter with a He-She. When you realize you've somehow just bumbled your way into 'the situation', do not shriek out, 'Oh My God, you are a DUDE! Get the F*K out of my car RIGHT NOW! ' Something along those lines is an understandable human reaction, even if you aren't really homophobic. But that would be the wrong thing to do. In fact, I blurted out those exact words and all it earned me was a quick back handed smack across the old kisser. I sported quite a puffed up upper lip for a couple of days to prove that even Trannys can often punch well beyond their weight!
Here's a better way to go:
1) Before you even start your trolling, fold up 2 or 3 one dollar bills in your right pocket. More on that later.
2) Always try to engage your intended 'partner' in a word or two before they get into the car through your rolled down passenger window. Per the 22 rules, NEVER through your passenger window. Get her to at least say 'Hello, ', so you can listen for that tell-tale low, masculine voice. And if you hear it, or even think you do, just be polite, say, 'sorry' and drive off. Yeah, she might have been that 1 in 10 million whisky voiced Lauren Bacall SW type, and you just passed up the true love of your life, but hey, better to be safe and troll on.
3) Sometimes, even with your best efforts, they are actually seated in your car before you hear that deep, bass-baritone voice, you know, the one that's 2 octaves lower than yours. BTW, don't doubt for a New York moment what I'm telling you here is not equally well known by all TSW's. They will often try to say as little as possible before getting in your monger-mobile. They can have all the make-up and silicone work done in the world, but the voice always gives them away. Vocal cord surgery is expensive, not always successful, and financially well beyond the means of any TSW you're ever likely to meet. At this point you simply act surprised and say,"Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were Brandi, my regular gal. You know you look a lot like her in the dark! My mistake. ', and indicate with your body language you expect her to exit the car right away. Often that's all that's needed. (I like to use the name Brandi because it's my firm believe every stroll in America has at least one Brandi; must be some kind of SW Workers Union Agreement. Your Tranny may actually even know of a Brandi, and now you've just established some plausibility to your misidentification story!)
4) But just as often the more experienced TSW figures she now 'has a live one', and is going to play you a bit and make some money out of your potentially embarrassing situation. I've actually come to believe many TSW's make most of their money this way. Ever notice how LONG some of these He-she's are at the same corner, hour after hour with no business? Yet the hetro SW disappears in minutes? The He-she's simply don't turn as many tricks, and finagling $$ out of poor unsuspecting 'Straights' becomes a viable economic alternative. Anyway, I digress. Your intended date, now seated firmly in your front seat says something like, 'Well you just wasted my time! ', and doesn't make a move to get out. She's seeking remuneration.
5) Here's where the $2 noted in #1, above, comes in to play. You simply say, 'I am sorry to have bothered you, though I'm out some of my time as well. Tell you what, here's some cash for your trouble, please have a safe evening. ' You're being polite, reasonable, and now giving the 'lady' a way to exit your car as a 'winner'. She's also saving face. At a glance and in the dark, the folded up money appears to be more than it is, and though you may have to hear a little swearing and maybe even get your car door slammed, who cares. You now safely drive away.
6) Unfortunately, some will TSWs will escalate the game at this point and feel they've got you 'trapped'. Your kind offer of some cigarette money admittedly leads to a few of the real mercenaries figuring they can now demand ridiculous sums of money to get them out of your car. Here's where you play your trump card, the ace. You now say, with a bit more agitation and firmness in your voice, but still calm and cooly, 'Listen, I'm sorry I troubled you for your time and have tried to make up for it with some cigarette money for the mistake of taking you for Brandi' (they all LOVE cigarettes, BTW, and hell, you just reminded her she could really use a smoke right about now with her new, ill-gotten gains.) And you continue, 'But you are refusing to get out of MY vehicle, so let's just go to the nearest police station to settle this. ' You immediately start to drive away, but not at too high rate of speed. If you drive slow enough, He-She may just exit the car right then and there. Slow enough for a safe exit for the TSW is the key. But even if you have to drive to the nearest stop sign, they'll still get out. You will no doubt endure some cursing and a for-sure car door slam, but they WILL get out. They don't want to leave the relative safety of their immediate 'area'. They also know if you really meant to take them to the police they'd sure as hell lose in THAT discussion with an officer, as embarrassing for you as that conversation might be. (and equally amusing to the LEO, no doubt!) And besides, it's a damn long walk back to the stroll and her friends, especially in high-heels. Trust me, they WILL get out.
So in summary, have your small bribe at the ready (it's good for getting Fuglies out of the car as well). Some may balk at giving them ANYTHING, but I figure it's less than a beer at the local bar runs you, so it's a cheap way to handle the situation.
Remember your unintended 'car date' is human, too, and when given an 'out' especially when it saves some fragile ego with a 'win' and a small gratuity, they'll take it.
And last but not least, the threat of a time consuming ride, not to mention potentially dangerous for them, ANYWHERE outside their 'zone' is certainly unappealing.
One other thought, speaking of danger. As you all know, many of our SWs are 'armed', if only with an ice-pick, screw driver, etc. I think it's safe to assume your typical Tranny is even more likely to be carrying what she considers self defense devices. Theirs is an even more violence prone world so I don't think it's worth it to push these gals into a rapidly escalating situation where they think their physical safety is in imminent danger. Calm, collected, but adamant insistence, with a little bit of financial inducement, should do the trick.
Again, I'd enjoy reading how others have handled similar situations.

I have told them,"oh, wow! You are a guy, I'm sorry to waste you time I thought you were my old friend, so and so, you look great but I only date girls" I always tell anything that I scoop by accident The same general thing. I am selective, and I look over new workers well before the scoop. So I don't often scoop a HO by mistake, but you need an exit stratagy just in case. Hunt in daylight, make more than one quick pass, look at her hands! I posted pictures of a "girl" on this thread a while back that looked so good I almost let her in my car! The Hispanic ones are the hardest for me to figure. They tend to be shorter, which makes them look more like a female. Feet are another giveaway, guys feet look bigger and wider than most real girls.
Last night I took a drive past the stroll just to window shop, I saw good old Brandi and Half Pint on 140th, then south of Fletcher on Nebraska, I saw several TVs most large blacks but one big Spanish kid. One of the black SWs may have been a girl! But, I only made one pass, and I was only window shopping. The only way I would have scooped a girl last night was if I found a real stunner.

I am new at this part of the hobby so I am reading the useful advice and doing trial runs for practice. I was on Nebraska north of Fletcher around 9:45 am this morning. Area had a lot of people out strolling around.
I turned on 140St heading east and saw a pretty good looking WSW (at least I am pretty sure she was) 5'6. 5'8 reddish hair, fairly slender in black slacks and green halter top. She looked up as I drove by and gave me a very big smile. I wasn't ready to do anything but wanted to get a feel for the lay of the land so to speak. I cruised by twice more and definitely got a positive look from her each time. But there were so many other folks walking on that road I didn't want to stop.
On my third pass she met up with another woman coming the other way who was definitely in the company of a black man on a bike. I kept going.
Was wondering if others have had similar experience with AM cruising and how you deal with the large number of other folks about.
