The block itself, in reality, is pretty safe except at closing time, and even then there is heavy police presence. But Baltimore's overall impression of a city out of control colors perceptions and keeps people away (not just the block — see John Hopkins decision to place a new facility in DC, not Baltimore).

Don't think of the block as different businesses, think of the block as a single business with different rooms. Walk around from bar to bar until you see something you like and then sit down and enjoy. When I walk into a bar and don't like the scenery, I never hesitate to walk back out. It only takes about 15 seconds to see if a bar has too many fuglies and junkies.

It is unlikely that you will find a bar full of hotties. That ended decades ago.

Really? Finally got a beer, and after another 10 min a gal went up. I was probably a bit pissed at the lack of reasonable service so did not really enjoy the dancer, although she was not my type either. One white gal who was cute did come by for a drink, but she talked a bit too much for me. Or I was just not in the mood. So left after 1 beer.

Quite frankly I love popping in and reading the threads; I don't think I've ever been so entertained. I don't have any real stories to add—not any good ones anyway.

I will say it's been a while since I did strip clubs in Baltimore but a few years back after my divorce I found myself sampling them like I was in Costco. At some point I had been in nearly every club in the Baltimore area.

Biggest disappointment: Scores (I think it's called the penthouse now). They probably have the best looking girls out of anywhere but they have the worst attitudes. There is next to no enthusiasm on the stage for most, their VIP is stupid expensive, and the girls are very stand offish. If they don't know you, the only way you get attention is to shell out big dollars on the stage and hope for some attention after. ZERO extras, guaranteed.

Best lap dance: show case theater. The all nude lap dance is secretly expensive and the basic lap dance is really awkward and uncomfortable. There aren't any extras there but the girls might let you cop a feel on the cheeks are above the waste-nothing wet or moist though. You can generally play with tits all day. The best dance I ever had, this white chick started the dance off by standing up on the couch butt naked and unexpectedly wiped her junk down my face. But there wasn't anything other than that. She even made me adjust myself when I got "excited". ZERO extras, guaranteed.

Best oldie but goodie: Fuego (now defunct). The set up is off putting: a bunch of people in a giant dark room. Mostly men, all horny. But they would have ridiculous amounts of women just walking around. If you could get one to notice you, you might get kind of lucky. The most Is ever finger bang this Hispanic chick for an extra 20 for the song while she grinded on me. Even let me put one in the stink. Place was unruly though and very impersonal. Everything just happens out on that floor and you had no privacy. Extras were definitely a YMMV situation.

Quite frankly I love popping in and reading the threads; I don't think I've ever been so entertained. I don't have any real stories to addnot any good ones anyway.

I will say it's been a while since I did strip clubs in Baltimore but a few years back after my divorce I found myself sampling them like I was in Costco. At some point I had been in nearly every club in the Baltimore area.

Biggest disappointment: Scores (I think it's called the penthouse now). They probably have the best looking girls out of anywhere but they have the worst attitudes. There is next to no enthusiasm on the stage for most, their VIP is stupid expensive, and the girls are very stand offish. If they don't know you, the only way you get attention is to shell out big dollars on the stage and hope for some attention after. ZERO extras, guaranteed.

Best lap dance: show case theater. The all nude lap dance is secretly expensive and the basic lap dance is really awkward and uncomfortable. There aren't any extras there but the girls might let you cop a feel on the cheeks are above the waste-nothing wet or moist though. You can generally play with tits all day. The best dance I ever had, this white chick started the dance off by standing up on the couch butt naked and unexpectedly wiped her junk down my face. But there wasn't anything other than that. She even made me adjust myself when I got "excited". ZERO extras, guaranteed.

Best oldie but goodie: Fuego (now defunct). The set up is off putting: a bunch of people in a giant dark room. Mostly men, all horny. But they would have ridiculous amounts of women just walking around. If you could get one to notice you, you might get kind of lucky. The most Is ever finger bang this Hispanic chick for an extra 20 for the song while she grinded on me. Even let me put one in the stink. Place was unruly though and very impersonal. Everything just happens out on that floor and you had no privacy. Extras were definitely a YMMV situation.

Surprised me what you could get away with knowing it was just seconds away from the police station and city all. If you want extras, it's pretty much a guarantee you can find it. Phyuck!Girls at showcase are pretty strict as it pushes the limits of strip clubs in the area. Most barely let you do any touching at all and the expectation of paying comes from their full nudity, not from the quality of the dance. I used to go there a lot and most dances were lack luster. After a few songs you find yourself at 300 and nothing to show for it. There are cameras in the private rooms and the girls have no issues telling you. Not many junkies there so most girls don't get too grimy. I haven't gone in about a year or so but the last time was so underwhelming I couldn't push myself to spend the money again.

Only place for extras is the block. You might get lucky at gentlemen's gold club but it's hit or miss; I've gotten a BJ and given some finger action (both holes) but never FS. One girl tried to sell me on being able to squirt on demand but wanted almost $300 for a private room. Nah, I'm good.

Thanks.I've been to Excape several times in the past couple of years. So far, no success in terns of getting FS, TO, or any extras. I've visited almost every strip club in Bmore and this is one of my least favorites. The girls range from out of shape, to very average, to a couple of 7's or above. Majority white girls, some Black girls. The biggest issue is how disinterested they seem in guests. They just disappear into the locker room or just talk among themselves. I gotten lapdances from a few of the girls here. I would buy them a drink and we would have the usual small talk. I would flirt and start inquiring about dances. I would hint if they did anything extra to no avail. Lapdances are $40 and take place in a dark room in the back. I will be coming to Baltimore this coming Saturday for a few days and will probably hang out on the block late afternoons and in the evenings. I just wanted to ask if there is anything new going on on the block? I don't like to do anything actually in a club except buy a girl a drink every now and then if I think there's a possibility. My preference is TO at the end of the shift / night and having her spend the night if possible. That way there is no "3 song limit" or what ever bullshit the club or girl throws at you. (Doesn't always happen. The 3rd song in, she slapped this guy so hard that you can hear it from across the room with the loud music. John (I think that is the owners name) came in to interfere and kicked the guy out of the bar. That was one hell of a Saturday night!

Also, I've notice the talent in Haven keeps bring their "boyfriends" into the bar which I find unprofessional. Not to mention you ain't getting TO from these type of dancer. However, in my opinion (this is only how I would see it), you are automatically a cuckold for making your girlfriend work the pole to make ends meet. Between the developments occurring nearby (i.e.: the building getting renovated right next to Club Lust) and the usual crap (people fighting, etc.), the Police and the Liquor Board have been cracking down hard - especially on Fridays and Saturdays. More so, the gang unit has been out there as well. They're the ones in the Green and/or Black uniforms with vests on - usually standing in front of Hustler.

I think you're reading way to much into it. Keep in mind: depending on who you talk to, there is definitely T / O there. I've seen some go to work right in customers vans and SUVs (20% tint is not that dark). Also, what you have to realize (if if it's not obvious) is that a lot of girls who come through there are feeding their habit.Chey Joey, Jewell Box (up and downstairs) have in the past year become to all extent black dancers only. Indulge and former Flamingo also all black, though they always have been. If you take away wrecks at the Circus, only RR, Pussycat and Harem have diversity in dancers.

Must of been about 10-15 girls of all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. I got a couple of ladies drinks (the $25 variety). I was practically getting lap dances at the bar. No way I'd get away with that kind of play at the Harem.

Sat with 2 girls. One was a bubbly red head. The other was an Hawaiin looking girl. (Don't remember their names.) Apparently they were pretty new to the scene and haven't warmed up yet to the VIP area. I guess my luck had to run out eventually. Still had a great time (considering most of the times I went to the Block this year kind of sucked).

Not saying it's as good as it was 10-15 years ago, but as good as it's been in the past year (in my opinion).Managed to carve out a evening, was a worthwhile trip. Much different, but a few places still had the old feel.

I was trying to keep the budget down for this visit, after such a long hiatus capping the expenditures would be prudent. As they say, you should never go grocery shopping when you're hungry. But that also meant I did not take every drink/dance offered, had I been feeling more flush or carrying more cash, I would have spent at least some time with at least twice as many girls, as was I turned down offers that looked quite promising.

Jewel box upstairs and down are unrecognizable apart from the sign out front, and that long narrow stairway. One of the dancers at an earlier stop said it was all black dancers now, but I saw 2 or 3 white girls in both halves. Both were too crowded for my taste, so I didn't stay long. This was the biggest disappointment of the night.
JB Upstairs use to be my last stop of the evening - almost 100% guaranteed good time. I know a lot of people complained about Misti ( the former bartender ) but she always made sure I had a good time, she'd let the girls know I was an OK guy and in turn the girls always treated me very well. Lots of mileage at the bar with a small drink, and more than few times on slow night Misti cut me a deal on bottles for the 2-3 on shift, locked the door and let me and the girls have our fun.

Harem(?) had enough good looking girls that I stopped for one drink in spite of it being on the edge of too crowded, because while there were a fair number of guys, a bunch of the girls were not occupied. During the course of a drink I determined it was because the girls had no interest in making money and would rather chat among themselves and play on the phone. On the way out I saw one of the girls with the cute face that I noticed when I walked in was pregnant, if I had noticed that sooner I might have stayed longer, if I could have gotten her attention.

Bottoms up (downstairs) my knees regretted the walk down the stairs, not crowded, but only a couple of girls, and all inferior to a lot of the girls I saw earlier.

Most of the other places were pretty much the same as Bottoms Up, either that or on the other end of the scale, a few really nice looking girls, a few more above average, and a crowd of 3+ guys per girl.

Club Pussycat was my favorite club before the Jewel Box, and one of the reasons it stopped being my favorite was because it became everyone's favorite. It was always crowded, and they were the first club to take dancer drinks from $20 to 25 (think it was $28 last night). The crowds chased me away, but last night it was a good balance - enough guys to put the girls in a good mood because they were making money but not so many that all the girls were 'taken' for the night.
Three really good ones there, MacKensie I had one drink with, and Miami was worth a drink and a lapdance. The third one I didn't get a name, but very very tall, and very slim long legs. There were a bunch of other girls that looked good, but those three caught my eye.

Circus is where I started and ended the night, as above they had three girls that caught my attention, Nina and Veronica were worth a drink, and I didn't get the name of the third good looking one. Fewer girls total at Circus than Pussycat, and if the ones beyond those three were the only ones visible, a probably wouldn't have stayed at all. One girl relly caught my attention with some of her dance moves, and we hit it off well during her drink, so that is were I returned to finish the night.

I've had better times on The Block, but this was above average. Had I arrived a couple hours earlier and and not imposed a finite budget for the evening,
I could have had a lot more fun. As was I was there until closing, and came away contented.

In the past, there were more clubs. The ratio of "too crowded to enjoy", to "too homely to enjoy", "barely attractive but aggressively raunchy", and "just right - pretty and personable" was about the same, but with twice as many (or more) clubs the same ration gave more options. But last night there were options enough and it was a good trip.

Decided to kill a few hours Friday afternoon on the block. Checked out most of the bars and they were all pretty dead. Decided on Red Room. Waste of time. It used to be fun here. I gave up and left. So here I am and he's tending bar again. Two songs played, no girls dancing, no drink, Rob is busy talking with his back to me. Two songs later hes still talking, no girl has even come close to the stage and I am still without a beer. So that's a total of 4 songs. The lapdance area is now in an elevated area in the back, where the old back exit used to be. It's walled off from the main bar, only one bouncer, and they tend to be passive these days. There are also 30 minute private rooms for $$. There is still some observation in the main lapdance area, but a couple of the back seats have enough privacy for advanced level foreplay to occur, provided the dancer is cooperative, and positions herself accordingly (I've personally conducted a number of thorough breast exams without using my hands). In the back area, it's complete privacy, no interruptions, time extendable as your budget may allow.

Had one a few months back in the private area who got her hands on me, was impressed enough by what she found to walk me over to another dancer who had just wrapped a lapdance, whipped me out and showed me off to her. Pity finances prevented a further encounter with both of them.

I'm guessing the Hustler Club has toned things down again unless you willing to pay $$$. Not the only place with this problem. The Ritz Cabaret in Fells has toned things down in past few months. Barely any girls go topless in LD area and no body kisses compared to earlier this year or last year. Some girls wouldn't allow you to touch their breasts. You have to go to the VIP rooms if you want to see them topless or naked, which costs $$$ for half hour IIRC. No $. 50 rooms for 15 minutes anymore like in the past. Negatives still include: mandatory hat check, over-priced drinks ($8-10 per beer), obligatory tipping of dancers if you opt to sit at the bar (usually $2 every 10 minutes? $160 price tag for a four-song VIP session with the dancer of your choosing (only top comes off. Full nudity is just for the stage), etc. Some positives: their music selection is pretty varied (compared to most clubs' are&B tracklist on infinite fucking repeat), so that's a subtle touch that I appreciated. The bartenders that night were pretty badass and not at all pushy about drink orders so long as you at least get something when you sit down (can't just hog the seat and NOT get anything). The dancers themselves were anywhere between 6 - 8 in the looks department and their dancing / pole skills weren't anything too special except the red-head who's name I forget who shimmied all the way up to the second-landing on the main center stage and twirled / slid all the way down. Got to say that was pretty impressive and worth the extra tip. Bathrooms were immaculate and the club appearance was well-kept & designed with comfortable seats and nice TVs all over the place. I hear the food is pretty good. But I just can't bring myself to eating food prepared at a strip club. Weird, I know, but that's just me.

Apart from that slick move, almost no one else caught my eye and I was preparing to leave after about an hour and a half (with only one dancer approaching me who wasn't my type). Then I saw this one Asian dancer walking back and forth talking to bouncers and not really hitting up any of the other customers (admittedly, it was pretty dead until around 11 pm when more folks started streaming in). She's not bony, but also not skinny. Maybe "athletic-built" is the best description? We made eye-contact and she came over. She's a Korean-American named "Ruby" and was really chill & down-to-earth to talk to. We drank a couple shots before she was called to perform her dance routine. After 15 minutes, she came right back and we talked for quite a bit as I continued to down beers before taking her up on a VIP offer. There's limits to what can be done back there, so as long as you keep your hands from wandering inside a dancer's pants then everything will be just fine. Like I said, the top came off but bottoms stayed on. She was very fair about not starting midway through a song, which is not always guaranteed among the other dancers. I definitely wasn't expecting much from Penthouse Club that night, but I'm really glad I went that day and had an overall fantastic time. Decided to release a little holiday stress today. Only 2 girls dancing today Vegas (what the kids woulds say a thicc) black girl about 5'9"maybe a bit taller large naturals and a healthy ass. Was in town for the game and stopped in afterwards only because we were walking by. What a nice surprise. 1000 x prettier girls than the block and not as sketchy. A good mix of dancers. Mostly white but something for all taste. They didn't all look like users either. Around 1 some wild acting female "patrons" came in and we're doing some girl on girl with the strippers. Chatted them up and I believe they were available for after hours fun. I think some dancers were too. 150 for 15 min in VIP, 30 for one song dance or 20 to buy them a drink. Best bang for buck was just a wad of ones sitting on a couch or buying a drink got you a solid 20 minutes with a dancer in your lap. Spent under 100 for a little over 2 hours of fun. First I'll start with I had at least $400 on me. Including drinks I spent $30 out there. Why? Every spot I went into, none of the dancers felt the need to approach me and strike up a convo. I go to strip clubs, cause usually the girls are aggressive to at see what you about. Went to lust (I usually have fun there) and 3 other spots and really nothing. It's like all the girls either dance with each other or talking to dudes they already know. Plus it was a lot of dudes out an about. I was prepared to blow that $400 so I guess a win for me I went home with my pocket full, but memories empty. I won't looking for extras or anything just a good time. Side note I find it odd that the girls leave out the front door after clubs close and bunch of thirsty dudes be waiting around to harass them.

Still got love for your city, had fun tailgating and at the bar I went to around corner from stadium. Oh yeah TitanUp!

Usually when I visit a club, I'll show up in a buttoned / collared shirt, tie, slacks, dress shoes, etc. Essentially dressed to the nines minus the jacket. This kinda helps stand out from the crowd a bit and I usually don't have any problem being approached by entertainers. For shits & giggles, I once showed up at the Penthouse Club in a tasteful t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. I didn't look that much different from other patrons, yet only ONE dancer even bothered to swing over to where I sat that night. To be fair, that dancer was the one I typically frequent, so it's possible that others kept their distance presuming I was only there for her. As a sidenote, I admit I'm no Brad Pitt-lookalike by any stretch of the imagination, but I like to think I'm all right looking.

Could've been a busy night, but I suspect our appearance definitely makes a good first impression. Not saying everyone should go to a club dressed like they're going to church, funeral, prom, etc. If anything, that experience taught me what you yourself just picked up on: that Baltimore clubs' entertainers tend to stick with regulars with whom they're comfortable with & know will spend money on them, as opposed to a complete stranger whom they've never met before and aren't guaranteed to get a single penny. Just an observation I've picked up over the years.

Anyway, kudos to you for thinking with your actual head and not settling for just anyone with your $400. And here's to your Titans going all the way! They're a huge underdog, but I'll be rooting for them to pull off the ultimate Cinderella-style season. Cheers!
