Unfortunately my two favorites, Coffee and Judy have left. I've met Amy and Ruby a few times but my first choice would be Ruby. Maybe others could give additonal suggestions.Coffee was my favorite, does anyone know where she works now?
Unless I'm mistaken, I think they were calling this place Ivy Spa for a while. There are 1 or 2 posts about it. Another place in GB has a name now, though a little less flashy. Excellent Spa. I have been there some months back and I was not too impressed.

DC Senior here. I was driving north and decided to try JHH since my former northern place, Blue Sky, is no longer around. I got to the location, but it looked deserted. 1404 (with the blank sign) had no signs of life. 1406 was completely yellow-taped off. It looked like they had their parking lot repaved. I was there about 3:30 this afternoon. Is something up; or, did I screw up and they weren't open yet? I didn't have access to any other data, so I didn't try any other establishment in the neighborhood. Bummer!I called and JHH is still open. They told me to make sure I use the BACK door not the FRONT since the FRONT door doorbell is broken. Same spot.

The hospital is open and are accepting patients. Met with Grace on Wed evening. Clinic services were good and I paid the standard copay. Parking is kind of an issue so park in the adjacent lots. The previous hubub from a few weeks ago are from a local watch group. Stop by the bank close by.
Kyoto is not the same without Judy. Not only was her massages great in ALL ways but she nice to talk too. I tried Amy last week but was not thrilled with the massage. Figured she probably moved out of state of back to Korea. Like they say "nothing last forever". It's just hard to find someone that suits your needs and you develop a good relationship with. At least with her I knew what I was getting and more importantly how I was getting it.
Searching for a new "regular" is fun but at the same time can be costly.
No Raven's game, went for a massage instead. Dianne, mediocre at best all the way around, wouldn't recommend.

Storm just passed, had no major damage. Had the day off so I thought I'd go in for a relaxing massage. Called the mamasan to see if they were open. Went in about an hour later. Went in. Chose the hour rate. A middle aged woman came in the room wearing a skimpy outfit. Looks were not amazing but not terrible either. I think her name was Candy? (couldn't really understand) She asked if I wanted a shower and at first I said no because of earlier reports here. Then I said if she came in that I would do it. She led me in to the dark light less shower. Made some light chitchat. Very very nice shower. She played close intention to some of my 'dirty' areas. After the shower I was lead into the sauna and spent about 5 min in there. I was happy about that because I wasnt really there for the sauna LOL. Went back to my room and and the massage began. Massage experience was about an 8/10. The last time I came massage was very poor so this was a pleasant surprise. She even walked on my back which was well needed. Felt great. After some more light massage it was time for the front side massage. This was even better. Candy was very nice, clean and friendly. She had a nice rack as well. .7 for the hour and. 5 for the tip. Highly recommended and will repeat.

There was a 5'10" 120lb thai model who worked there.I believe that the Thai gal who ran the place and also gave sessions herself, if you asked her, was named Candy. After the Briggs-Chaney Road house closed (due to a raid circa 1998) , she reopened a townhouse operation close to Gaithersburg. Saw her about a half-dozen times before being out of the area for a while, and when I returned she and her operation there were gone. She was one of the nicest owner / providers I've ever been with. There are still some Thai providers around, but you'll have to search for them. My info is a bit dated right now, as I've been out of the hobby for a time.

I tried to call them this evening and no answer, then I drove by to see that the sign was off and the lights were out. I hope this is only temporary, this happened before so let's keep our hopes up and with any luck things will be back to normal.This place has been here forever. I don't know whats going on. I actually live around the corner from here and didn't see anything since my last visit. Then all of the sudden nothing. I even kno the owner of the barbershop next door. He said he did see nothing. Well it had been a few years since my last report and my last time at one of these establishments (life and the economy got in the way) but I was finally able to make it back today to refresh my batteries. After some research I decided to try out RL since it is fairly close to my house. I called up and made an appointment (Mamasan stated that it was uneccessary since walk-ins were welcome) for 1:30.
I arrived and the mamasan greeted me with a smile and took me to my room. She told me that I would be seeing Candy. After about 5 minutes, this middle-aged petite woman came in wearing black yoga pants and a black bebe tshirt. It was her. I was quite shocked considering I was used to the bikini clad women of DC. She took me back to the TS and all was well and good. She was quite thorough and explorative, which gave me hope. After the TS we went back to the room for the massage. It was a nice 30 minute massage and she hit all the trouble spots on my back and legs. I've never had a real professional massage so I don't know what to compare it to but I liked it. After the back treatment she instructed me to roll over. Here is where the disappointment set in. She was still fully clothed and began gently touching me. She was giving attention to the right places but It was less than expected. At this point she lotioned up and started the HJ. It was good but I was seriously trying to negotiate for something more, I even offered more tip for more extra's, she wouldn't even take her top off. I eventually released my stress (which was funny because it had been a while since my last release so stuff went flying) and then she cleaned up and turned me over again to finish the massage. At the end we bid each other farewell and I left with a small smile. During my visit I did see another woman there named Sandy and Candy instructed I should see her next time (before my visit started with her) just to try someone else.
Provider. 5, the abundance of clothing was disappointing.
Massage. 7, it felt good and there was nothing really to complain about.
TS. 9, felt great and I missed that part the most I think.
Extras. 5, at the end of the day it got the job done but It just felt mechanical and I could have done the same job myself for cheaper.
I am going to try TK next along with Kyoto. I heard mixed reviews about JHH but because I heard they offer FS I might try them as well. Also I keep hearing about the hospital but I can't seem to find anything regarding a location. All in all though the scene is very much weaker than the Golden Days of DC (Supra was my first love and Sue will never be forgotten. 14K and Orange were good reliable places too). I miss the good old days. I remember one time I went to 14K after going to a stripclub one night and it was the best thing ever! I would seriously love to try a place that offered some none-asian providers but I can't seem to find any of them and never could really. Anyone have any suggestions for a returning monger please pm me if possible. The last time I did something like this before today was with one of those condo setups and that time was awesome but really pricey.

I've been there once back in 06 after my favorite AMP closed temporarily at the time, kind of like now. Back then I didn't have the back-up options that I now have so I was trying many different AMP's. I eventually came to this place and it was not a good experience. At first I walked into an exercise room then I rang the bell, a good looking korean lady wearing sweatpants answered and took me back to one of their rooms. I was very optimistic at this point having been to others that had curtains this place had rooms with doors similar to my favorite one. Thinking a hottie was going to walk in I got undressed and left the money on the table $ tip. Soon after I hear a knock and I was excited thinking maybe the good looking lady who answered the door was going to service me. Then the horror show began, in comes the creature from the black lagoon, she was probably 50 and ugly as hell with a bad attitude. Needless to say I actually got up to put the intended tip back in my wallet, I think that pissed her off. Got a half ass massage then got dressed and left. I think this was one of my worst AMP experiences ever along with a few in Hazard County.
Sorry, I wanted to add that my other most terrible AMP experience was at the jade SHITsu in Ellicott City in 06 around the same time. They've changed their name about 3 times since then but I'm sure it's the same crappy experience. Thank God that I have many other options today unlike back then.

She rushed the service right away (and yes, the service was okay.) and then left me in the room to go out and talk with the other gals. Just left me. Had some free time and spending money last sat so decided to give this place a try. Got there around 2pm and was take upstairs my provider who looked to be around 25 and on the AMP scale I would give her a 6 or 7 for looks just because she was so young. I have been going to AMPs for more than ten years and lately all you seem to find is providers in their forties or fifties who seem to try too hard to look young, and that is why I give this one a 7.
She asked me to get comfortable and asked if I wanted a shower and I said yes. I had to take the shower all by myself because she refused to get in with me saying it was too small. I'm used to getting bathed by the the provider, and to me that is all part of the fun.
The fun begun after I got out of the shower, my provider was eager to please to so I was allowed to roam and even got to FIV even though she said she didn't enjoy that.
Got a CBJ and a very HE. Total damage was 1. 7 (.7 being the standard house fee). On service, I rate this place a 8. 5 since they are eager to please. Back in the day I only got this type of service either in Waldorf, MD or in DC so I was very glad to get it here. I have been going to the likes of Silk, Brite, lotus and paid the same amount only to get a virtual experience.
I was able to get the name of my provider even though I don't want to post it here (seniors feel free to PM me). If you are lookin for a diffent kind of AMP try this place out, it is woth the drive IMHO.

RnRI've been there a few times. Service varies. FS is offered but really depends on which girl is there any they do TRY TO UPSELL. Expect to pay more than normally for FS there since they are non Asian. They have a variety of ethnicities.

Decided to visit this spot the other week and to my suprised it was Cindy's establishment. She and another girl are working here. If you recall Cindy from Pheonix, its the same one. She said she sold Phoenix to another girl and is no longer associated there and is now handling this place. Place offers everything as before including FS except Greek. Usual cost. MMYeah they only offer the basement showers when it is warm since they have no heat down there. It is self-service for now until it gets warmer again unfortunately.

I've been showered up at the hospital a couple times lately, just have to ask, after all, to me, the shower's half the fun, sometimes more;) It is more enjoyable in the summer though, they should add a little heat. Any HVAC guys out there willing to offer Lilly a trade?

Houndog.The last few times I been there, I was told "basement too cold, you get sick. Shower here" LOL. Which was true since the times I have gone has been cold weather LOL.
I tried the non amateur nail place, paid Wendy for an hour and May walked in. Good massage, after the flip, signals are made, nods of agreement and my mood improved. .5 +.4= out the door in 55 minutes and on my way.

However, absolutely no (zero, zilch, nada) extras are offerred. I tried they were not to be had. So, if you go, expect an excellent massage only.

As I was dead tired yesterday. I figured this is the first time in awhile. Let me go hit up the local AMP in Laurel, Maryland. I love how this place has a back door you can go into. The front of this place just have people eyeing you dirty as it is located next to quite a couple of places.

This reminds me of something similar that happened in 1995 in Howard (Hazard) County. I was young at the time but later heard the details. There was a popular AMP at the time right down the street from where I lived. I've actively read the reports on the forum for a while although I've only posted once maybe twice. I just posted about EC. I also wanted to report on my finidngs in Jessup the week of Thanksgiving. Had family in town needed a break so I made the drive to Jessup. Never been there but figured since I was on that side of town WTH. Walked in standard rate. I always take the hour. Was taken to room and greeted by very nice looking therapist. Early 30's skinny as a rail nice rack. Was a nice start the massage, worked all the major groups a little fun here and there as it goes. Then on flip was asked to tip which for what was on the menu high$. Only CBJ available. No worries, I need the break any way. During the time she was complaining I was takign too long. First came up 5 mins into session. Then just started complaining constantly. Meanwhile we are 35 mins into session total and flip has only been 5-10 mins. I have never done this before but I told her I was finished and I was leaving. She got mad go figure. In comes MS asks whats wrong I explain therapist is complaining about takign too long and its the holidays and she wants to leave so I got up. MS refunds tip + some of the standard rate. MS told me she was sorry and it wouldn't happen again. I thanked MS and told her it was ok and left. Point to be made. While it is a decent drive for me to the hospital, I have always been treated well, gotten better than average massage and fun finish regardless. There is one more place down here I want to try, its off tamar in Columbia. If that doesn't work I am giving up unless I am near the hospital.

Visited RL 2 weeks ago. Will say got lost at first since it was my first time visiting my GPS acted dumb and took me further. Anyways it seemed slow went in afternoon. Will say its not really discreet since its like in a small "shopping area" has lots of store near it. I ended up getting linda. She is in her late 20 early 30. Decent body I prefer mor curvy girls. Massage was decent not the best and not the worst. On flip side she went straight for HE. When I hinted her for more menu options she denied and said she has no more options. Her English was a 4/10 took me a while to understand what she meant. Let her finish what she started. Got my full time which was good. She also ddnt complain about tip which also good I guess. She did hint thought that others hand her more but I told her I will visit again and give more which she was okay with. All in all okay experience. Will I go again? Maybe will I see her again? Probably not will like to try others.

The gooseIf you thought the jessup places were expensive for what you got, stay away from 'near tamar', they'll need use the AED and call the EMTs when they quote you prices.

The price rule of thumb I've found for MD. House fee (currently. 8) + $ for a tip that gets you _as much as is allowed_ at the establishment.
Lesser tips get lesser performance from the baseline 'the most that mamsan allows'.
Poor tips insures a lousy massage and no extras at all.
The full menu in MD has always been somewhat unusual, and is pretty rare of late.
The fact that that $ tip has been a constant for over 20 years means it is no longer as fixed as it once was. Ladies are quite reasonably of the opinion they deserve a raise after all that time, in a lot of places $.2 to $.5 is now expected.
I've actively read the reports on the forum for a while although I've only posted once maybe twice. I thought I would throw out my recent findings since everyone on here is always good abotu keeping the group in the loop. Today I visited TF in ellicott city. I checked the forums but not much was written and since its close by I figured I'd TOFTT. Called set up appointment and after being asked to wait 15 minutes while she was in shower I walked in and was greeted by who I thought was MS. Older unit, spinner type but not much to look at. Into the room we go, nice table, the usual setup. Lay down and get an average massage, a little touch and go with the boys but otherwise average. On the flip I was offered more which I indulged, kitty was all natural which is a turn off, but such is life I had tipped in advance. CBJ followed by CG, RCG finish in mish. Was offered shower which I took. While I was in shower Sasha was sitting on toilet cleaning herself with water. Thats a first for me. But no matter, I checked the clock and still had 20 mins left asked for additional massage which she obliged.

I recently went to Rl therapy on 198. It is very nice inside. The door fee was. 5 and the girl was. 2 it was a happy ending. I can't remember the girls name, but it wasn't a good massage at all. The place was very nice inside. I didn't get to see any showers, but I did use the bathroom which was very nice. The place was very classy. I wasn't impressed with the rub / tug. A little too much tug. LOL anyway I may check back again but as everyone knows now for. 5 to. 8 you can get a BP of your choice for a quickie.

I was there last Monday. While I was in the room, it appeared someone in male voice started talking loudly and I heard loud voice.
Of someone on stairs. I got off and got dressed. The lady went out to check. I was hoping she will come back quickly to let me.
Know that the guy was either other customer or one of their employee. She took long time and two ladies kept talking for long time.
When she came back I asked if there was someone, she said yes. The she told me to come back in 2 weeks. There were some language.
Problem also however I did get a vibe that not everything is normal. Either they are being watched or ladies are scared.

Just getting around to posting my latest outings. My normal place in GB is still my go to. I think they just have a very comfortable atmosphere and the services are generally very therapeutic and relaxing. I will say that there was new talent a few months ago that was defiantly different in the location (relative of lucy liu maybe?). Very easy on the eyes as they say, but she is long gone. Every once and a while a new massage therapist shows up and it's defiantly a delight while they are in town.
I also tried out the new place (to me) in EC a few weeks ago. I did have a good time, but I haven't quite decided if I will go back or not. I don't think my experience was the same as others, so I'm not sure. They defiantly try, but the location over the service really makes me assess the risk versus the reward in that outing. That said, I may make one more visit just to get a sense of if I should leave them in the go to places list or add them to the avoid.

However for the full experience (you know) she wanted an extra 1 on top of the 1. 8 house payment. The he on just the house cost was phenomenal to say the least.

Had various aches and pains Friday, so it was time for a hospital checkup. I saw Nurse Anna-she has lost some weight and looks really great. Still has that fine smile and crinkly, happy eyes when she smiles, too. I felt fine when I left an hour later. She remains one of my favorites.

Just to share with all in Maryland in case you visit Philly. I was in Philadelphia recently. I can highly recommend a place called Cutie. I saw Evie or Eva and she was very nice. STORY: So you go in the front door. Not the one to the street- the one on the right that goes up the stairs. The street window is just for show. Upstairs there is the standard "looks like a cheap gym" waiting room that nobody on the face of the planet has ever used, and the standard locked door you got to knock and wait.
So grandma-san answers the door with sort of a smile (grimace really) and leads me back to a room. This is a scary old lady (the phrase "withered crone" leaps to mind). She asks for seventy for hour massage with table shower, which I happily provide. I get comfortable and wait for the massage girl to arrive.
First sign of trouble. No change was given for the 80 I gave her. She kept the change. Second sign. Grandma-san shows back up and beckons me to shower. Huh? Really? Where's the girl. Are you even female? WTF? Now two things. I know most of you would raise a stink right here. Where's my change? Where's a real girl? And if no real girl, give me my cash back. Me, I prefer to live and learn. I really just was here for a massage, and sometimes mama-san give you the shower and then sends a girl in for the real action.
Big mistake.
After a passable table shower, grammy towels me off and sticks me in a sauna. At this point I'm worried. Is this seriously the massage girl? I figure (and I've had it before) the older ladies sometimes really REALLY know how to give a great massage. I've had some of the more experienced older massage ladies do things to my back that a paid pro chiro could not manage.
Yep. It was grammy. I'm getting a massage from the crypt keeper.
And. She didn't suck. To suck at something, you have to know the basics. I mean, somebody can't "suck" at driving a car unless they know that you put the key in the ignition and turn it to start it up, then put it in gear to make it go.
I do not believe that this decrepit withered husk has ever one in her miserable life actually given a genuine massage. She basically poked at various, random places on my back and arms with random pressure and random pace, never stopping on one point for more than about 8 seconds.
About seven minutes into it she started the quiz."Have you ever been here?" "What you want to do?" "How much you spend?" After some really painful back and forth a menue started to emerge. $80 MORE for HJ, and $120 for FS. Oral was NOT on this menue. Yes these prices were in addition to the $70 I had paid for the hour massage, and the $10 she had stolen from me. I offered $60 for HJ and she actually hissed at me.
I told her. I just want a good massage. Her eyes crossed as this rattled around in her little brain, and she poked at my back for about ten minutes more and told me I needed to pay the upcharge or it was time to go.
Done. I'm leaving. Twenty-two minutes total including table shower and hour long massage.
Never go there. Never. I only went because it is basically a mile closer to my house than Pinetree (which take my word REALLY knows how to give a good pampering shower and massage). This place. Is shit.

You could have just as well gone to Pinetree and taken better odds of getting a decent R&T. Possibly more with the right provider. With house fees and tip over a Benjamin you need to heed what has been written here, more.

Checked out the new place in Ellicott City last night—was kind of disappointed. You pay. 60 for the hour, which isn't a bad price except for the fact that you'll be forced out within 40 minutes at the longest. Everything is on the table, but you'll have to haggle a little bit since they definitely try to upsell over the normal tipping fees.
Provider was fine-looking Chinese woman (Helen) , and definitely provided a believable performance as one poster said, but the moment your session is up she turns into a cold fish. No extra foot or scalp massage to fill out the time—after I busted, she literally told me to go wash my hands (an odd request) , and then told me to get my clothes on and leave.
It's not a bad place, but I would advise to hit up one of the tried and true regulars (ML, Kyoto) instead.

Third choice of venue, but one was closed for the day and one had sent my old friend to Virginia for a while. So off to the old reliable. I met a new therapist, Tiffany, and was well pleased.
