My question is, what can we as customers do to convince the providers that we are not LE? This would be especially helpful when TOFTT at a new place. There used to be a time when providers would ask certain questions or look for specific actions to determine whether the customer was LE or not. For example, asking "are you a cop" and getting a "no" from LE would not hold up in court because of entrapment. I've also heard that stripping naked as soon as you get into the room is a good idea because it would also be considered entrapment if the customer turned out to be LE. From what I understand these are either outdated or just rumours. Does anyone know for sure? Please advise. Thanks.

Well for sure My Lord (King Xavier) that while it is great, we guys here often visit a new AMP and TOFTT and share, still from my experience. It is exactly that what you said that makes most AMPs nervous.
The fact that they may think of us Non-Asians as potential LE is such a drag. I do know that they have ways of "screening" out LE potentials, but mostly, for now, that is the most accurate level of intel that you offered is true. If you get butt naked, that is a possible sign that you are not LE. But sometimes for the ladies at the AMPs, that's not enough insurance.
But the more you go, the more you try to chit chat with them nicely (you know. Casual conversation), sometimes, I find it might help them figure out that you are not LE, but just a horny bastard, which we all are.
One of my other buddies who goes to AMPs, likes to ask too many questions, almost like an interogation. Sometimes the girls at the AMPs do not react too well to that. But YMWV.
Changing your dress pattern (like showing up like George Clooney or Tommy Lee) doesn't really help, IMHO. But this is a toughie, My Lord (King Xavier).
I just feel as long as you are friendly enough, smile, tip them well, and get butt naked everytime for your massage, come back and see them often. Those should be simple enough guidelines. But again, there are never guarantees. The fact that they even fear even the Asian Brotha is a LE too, is a bit unsettling for them. But what can you do right?

Went there today. Tina was my provider of choice. I havent been to the place in 4 months. She was not there anymore. They had two girls. One worked there before and I knew that she was no good. After reading all the reports here I had to try the 4th floor place on 36th & Bway. I won't add too much since Sticky and others have already given enough information.

You can do other things like removing the towel when they put it on you. When I'm still on my front, what I would do is whenever they're close and massaging my ass and inner thighs, I would act responsive by shifting and moving my hips, spreading my legs and lifting my hips to give them signals and most importantly, better access. You can also try roaming. Look for those and other ads that have those words. Other places that come to mind: Green spa, Chelsa Asian, Asian Silk. There are a whole bunch of massage places in Chelsea and since you're looking for a place below 34th, that would be your best bet. Grab a copy of the VV and NYPress and start from there.

I reported on a place around the spring or summer this fall. They had full advertising, and signs all over. I figured it was legit, and was in need of a massage, so I went for one.
Fairly cute Chinese girl comes in after I get buck naked and layed on the table. I was still a newbie at these massage places, so I turn and ask, "full service?" Do you really think LE has time and resources to keep tabs on all the massage places that offer handjobs? They know it, we know they know, they know we know...blah blah blah. There is now an illegal gambling club one floor below G's spa on 36th. This club has installeed a securiy guard in the lobby and front door is also now locked. This guard has also been checking ID's.

I went to what appears to be the local favorite, GS, and I thought, well, another report can't hurt anyone.

First I want to thank Jgraham, Double Nickle, & all those who have contributed their reviews and comments to this site--thanks to you, I took the plunge for the first time. Now I know why you mongers have made this a hobby!
Figured I might as well try the popular Herald Sq. Place on my first try--didn't expect FS and for better or worse it would be a good standard from which to compare future AMP adventures.

You should play it by ear. See how things pan out and go with the flow. Of course if she is hideous, then you might want to ditch her. If she is decent and worth getting a possible freebee, then you should play along. Most of these girls just want to get away from their boring life and try to be happy even if it's for a short time. 265 Canal? I've never heard of a place at that address. You've probably mistaken the address and thought of the first place I mentioned, VIP/B1 which used to be at 365 Canal. The closest place to 265 Canal is some place across the street at 264 which used to be some Qi Gong Tui Na rub and tug place but it's been long closed. Regarding 405, I'm not aware of any places on Bowery at the moment so I don't know anything about that. I would figure most of the Korean places are located in the mid 30's to 40's. There are tons of reviews on the Korean places. If they're not on this board, they're bound to be on others somewhere else.
Hit the old notorious place on 36th yesterday. Paid for an hour. In the shower she asked permission to wash mini me, so i thought it may be minimal extras. Having passed it a couple of times and calling to see what they do, I finally was in the mood to try Big Tree Spa. It's just south of Penn on 8th Ave. They offer a TS and 1 hour massage for $70. Even though I thought $70 to be too inexpensive for both I was in the mood for some pampering. Keep in mind as you read this that I was in the mood for a good massage. This is just my experience to be honext do not call this people.

As always, this place delivers--in this case in the person of Coko. Older, yes, but I don't mind in the least; she knows what she's doing.

I'm in NY for business and decided to cruise CL to see what the lay of the land was like. I came across an add for Columbus Spa and given that it wasn't too far away decided to try it out.
It's located on W56th between Broadway and 8th on the 2nd floor on the same side as McDonalds. I arrived around 10 pm, rang the bell and Jenny immediately let me in. My impression was that she was Korean, and her English was pretty good. Columbus has to be one of the cleanest and well maintained AMPs that I have been in.
The TS was rather clinical. She got the water hot but not too hot which was nice. What followed was a truly excellent massage. This girl really knew her stuff. The room (which has a door not a curtain) has the hand holds to walk on your back, but she did not do so. Believe me it wasn't needed. As time was running out, I somehow managed to get my liquefied self to flip over where Jenny then moved onto Las Vegas style ministrations. While I did not inquire further, I was pretty confident that more was not available on the menu.
All in all a relaxing experience which after a long day of travel was just what the doctor ordered. If I was looking for a thrill, I would probably try elsewhere. $.7 for the hour massage, I tipped $.3 which was well received.

When I travel into the city, I typically am carrying my briefcase/laptop computer with me. Thanks!Don't know about C4Y but never had a problem with a bag anywhere else. Some spots will have a separate TS area and you may end up with everything (including your pockets) out of your site for a little. Never had any games played once I returned but always checked to be sure. ABC - always be concious.
For course it goes without saying that having a heavy bag that could hold a camera doesn't inspire confidence if you're not a regular. You may want to throw a towel over it so you can see if the towel moves while its out of sight and also to squash any fears you could be taping.

The setup was a bit of a pain in the ass but once into the premises I was greated very warmly. TS was good with plenty of attention to all parts. The massage and service were great. Got a GREAT therapeutic massage at a place on E. 23 St. A+A Spa- I was bone tired and aching from moving boxes, I see this place, buzzed and was let in as a walk in. It was around 3:30 pm, the hrs. are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. so maybe they're legit.

Have no idea how many rooms there were, I just need a good massage, and the woman who answered the door seemed to be the only person in the place. She takes me to a clean room and tells me to take off all my clothes; I ask, "everything?" She hesitated and said I could leave my underwear on.
She throws a towel over me while I'm face down, and proceeds to give me a deep, hard massage- just the way I like it. While she's near my head, facing me, she does a long stroke of my torso with both hands (while bumping her crotch against my head), and continues down,and down, and slides my underwear down and my bare butt is exposed. Cleanliness: 8.5
Security:hard call; they have security monitors, but waiting customers tend to lounge around outside in full view, so I'll just say iffy. Sometimes they just leave the entrance door fully open. The last time I was there, I told them the door was open, and they didn't seem overly concerned.
My providor: I'll be genourous and give her an 8- the AR put her over the top. No gold medalist, maybe a hair above a bronze, and only because of the AR.
Merchandise: never have seen more than 4, and I always seem to miss the really hot ones. I can call and be told all girls are free, and by the time I get there, at least 2 are busy. The last time I was there, 3 were free, and I was allowed to pick from the 3.
I think I've figured out the phone system at these places: you'll find different cell numbers for the same establishment, and the girl who "books" you is the one you get. But once you have an in, they'll give you their private number so they know you're a repeat customer.
I was busy in Queens throughout the spring up to June with my personal escort, but unfortunately, he's moved on to greener pastures, so I don't have the contacts for Queens anymore except for one number, and I know I'd have to jump through hoops to find where they are.
I think I may look in the Chinatown area where I know it's cheaper- but the quality of merchandise is generally poor. I have a line on a place I've yet to visit on Lex and lower 30s- they have Korean and Japanese; I think this is a place worth checking out. At least the Japanese don't have kim-chee breath. I did see a providor a few months back at least twice in a row, which is rare for me, but she was really cute and bubbly. I've started to ask for their cell numbers, but haven't gotten one as of yet.

I zeroed in on one phrase in your report. When you hesitated and then left your underwear on, you killed any chance for significant extras, as you gave her the impression that you might be a cop. Even if the place advertises "therapeutic" massage, you should strip down completely, don't hesitate.
One of the basic rules of visiting any AMP is: always strip completely naked as quickly as possible, even if it's in front of a 70-year-old mamasan whose only job is to lead you to your room and tell you that the masseuse will be in shortly. In doing this, you are sending two messages, one, that you're not a cop and two, that you are interested in more than just a massage. This goes along with another AMP rule, which is to always say "yes" to the offer of a table shower.
I know about this from both personal experience and from talking with some AMP workers who I've gotten to know over the years. It's one of the reasons why a guy is always left alone for a few minutes at the start of an AMP visit.

If we are to take your comments seriously, you are a true newbie who knows nothing about AMPs (or in this case, an AMP that employees Latinas); if so, then I strongly recommend you RTFF (read the forum) as there's lots of good info about AMPs.
If you were joking, fine, but now it's time to post some truly useful info, such as: what was the name and location of the place you visited? Did you pay a tip on top of the $50 house fee? What was the name of the masseuse? Do you plan on ever returning to this particular AMP? etc. etc.

New York Oasis - E 33rd St
FS for $$. Very pretty girls - check out their fancy website! I saw Ruby: Looks 8, Massage 2, Enthusiasm 7, Service 7. Overall it was pretty good. So I went to Golds yesterday to check out the talent & services!
