Fair enough. I re-read your report and I offer my apology. You do seem to have been talking about a business relationship vice a personal one. My bad.

Having said that, I also have to say that the industry is what it is. It's not clear to me that we (as customers) have the power to change any of that. One thing you have to keep in mind about this business is that it's basically illegal. When you are talking about patronizing a bar or a barber ship, you have alternatives and you can talk about possibly changing things through your patronage. But in some respects the AMP business is like buying illegal drugs, except that you are paying for a service and not a product.
In that respect the industry sort of has you over a barrel. At least that's how it seems to me.

Went to get a massage in Rockville last night.
Saw ad in DC city paper.
Location was on RT355 ( office park, near Montgomery College)
Woman in her 50's leads me in, lets me know she is doing massage...uggggg(should have left right then). She was in full street cloths...jeans actually.

Of course, they might say " Oh, I don't like asian men and african american men ", but you have to see the truth as to why they think that. So if you read this carefuly, you will see why.
I would not say that they love white men. They are just the easiest way for them to get what they want. Therefore, when money and interests are involved, there is no such thing as love, attraction, or even friendship.
So If what I said before was a "blanket statement" as you said then take a look at this list of people of African Americans mixed with Asian:

Well I finally made it to downtown DC (traffic + rain + mapquest directions = near death). And what thanks do I get for my travels? A locked gate at 14k! Damn it! So around 5pm I made the trek downtown again today (and parked again which isn't cheap! ) to find 14 with a nice gold lock on it (I'm beginning to wonder if they are ever open! ) so I head up the road a bit and the response at 1333 from the mamasan that answered the door was "closed today" and I said "what? I did an informal survey this morning. As of ten-thirty, the following were closed--Royal, Happiness, Gold, Green Court, Supra, and 1413.
Rio and M Street (3rd floor) were open. I am told M Street is an avoid at all costs place, anyway.
I did not check IHC.
I sense a seismic shift, a sea change if you will. The old days may be over. Downtown, Sun, Ginza (my ATF) and the type of service and provider you would get, alas.
I miss Marion Barry, I can't believe this would have happened on his watch.
Without starting trouble, I wonder if some of the more explicit info. here hurt or not. I remember on the old Big Dog board, years ago, an "Operation Dumbass" as it later was called, was a set up for a bust done right there on the board. It effectively closed the Waldorf scene.

So this is my first post on here but I have been reading around on and off for a little while. I'll just tell you all about my experiences.
My first time was in AC about a year ago. I had gone up with some buddies we were gambling, black jack, craps, roulette. I had done pretty well (won about 900 bucks doing roulette) and we decided to hit up a strip joint, that wasnt happening since there were only 2 that we found and the line was too long. WE ended up driving past an AMP and I begged my friends to stop. I was nervous as hell and because of the time (2:30am) I half didn't expect it to be open, alas. Door opened right up and this beautiful little thing said come on in. Keep in mind this was my first time at an AMP so I was horribly nervous and had no idea what to expect.
I walk in, ask what the deal was and she said 2. For fs. I didn't thik the price was too much at the time (although knowing what I know now, it def was a tad steep). Rio is most definitely open, and either the rest of you guys read about the closings and headed there, or it's always that busy on a Thursday (my first time there since I used to hit DT and Supra back in the day). I heard at least 2 dudes turned away while I was in the shower. It was enough to make a man nervous, thinking it could be LE at any second.
Mamasan asked if I'd been before ("Yeah", although one of those mongers I heard actually answered he hadn't. Idiot.) and I gave the correct answer. She asked if I remembered anyone, and of course I said Nana. I had to see if the hype was correct. And yes, I'll say, all reports live up to reality.
Not the best looking AMP girl I've seen, but sure as hell not painful on the eyes either. Def. All natural and a hell of a body at that. Friendly as hell, and while the stereotypical Asian "Ohhh you so strong, good boy, etc. " business did get to be a bit much (I like a bit of that, or I wouldn't go to an AMP, but really tone it down), she was possibly one of the best AMP experiences I've ever had.
I'll leave the details at that, but will note two things.
-- If you like some action in the Pacific Rim, she's your girl. My nether regions have never been so clean and so pleased at the same time.
-- I spent some time at the Y, and also got splashed in the face. I'm pretty sure it's not poor bladder control, but it was a little offputting, despite the warning on here. Some dudes like the gift, but I was happy she cleaned up my mouth quickly.

Well after the last 2 days of failures with 14k and 13k, I almost chose to not try again and surf CL for an outcall which I've never done and don't know much about but I was getting desperate. Lucky for me, I decided to try downtown one last time. I went by 14k first because its easy to tell if its closed by just walking by and seeing the golden padlock. Which was on and locked. So I strolled over to 13k to see what excuse mamasan would give me today. I rang, mamasan answered. And let me in! Yes! I immediately asked if Nana was there before she said could say something like she did yesterday with the flu comment and try to send me packing again. She took me to #3, called for Nana and a few minutes later. There she was! And man is she 1000x better than what's offered in my hometown. Pretty face and a smokin' body. She asked how I knew her and I told her that she has excellent reviews on the internet. She was curious about what people were saying and was excited to hear that many people gave her great reviews. During the TS (which was thorough and extremely pleasant), she was very friendly and talkative. And she did say that they were actually closed Tu and Wed. Excellent report. I've occasionally seen very old women in AMP's. When I asked who they were, the mamasan would usually tell me that it was the owner. Contrary to popular belief, I think the mamasan's are not usually the owner. They usually just work there as manager. I think the owners are just people with some cash who can afford to rent the space, refurbish it if needed, and then they usually sit at home and reap the rewards of their risk-taking. To me, it's important to understand how this industry operates. It gives you a better understanding of what all the players are doing, what motivates them, etc.

Well I leave town tomorrow, but my experience yesterday when I finally made in behind the green door was so great that I had to make one last visit today. I parked across from 14k so I could see if it was still locked up. And it was. No worries, I headed over to 13 to see my new buddy Nana. There has been a little discussion recently about whether BBBJ ever happens in an AMP. I reported some time ago about my experiences in that regard. It can happen. And I am talking about BBBJCIM. There has been a little discussion recently about whether BBBJ ever happens in an AMP. I reported some time ago about my experiences in that regard. It can happen. And I am talking about BBBJCIM. 2-3) I can tell you for a fact that 14k was closed M night thru Fri because I physically went there each day and saw the lock. I also saw the last folks there that left there Monday night. And they certainly didn't look paranoid but they did have their luggage with them so I'm guessing they were planning on being gone for awhile 2-3-4) I don't know about any busts at Green but when I was there Thurs and Fri, I got in just fine. M-W they wouldn't let me in though!

I'm looking at all of the reports and PM's flying around and the abundance of newbies asking seemingly harmless questions. Now, maybe I'm paranoid but this actually seems to be an orchestrated and coordinated attempt to gain information of some sort...
I've gotten a number of strange PM's lately from newbies asking 'because ur a senior member' in really poor typing, about how to get what they want at a number of places. Like I know...
Thing is, I see these same people (with only a few posts each), using fairly perfect diction in their posts. When I see you post one way, and then PM me in another, it raises a red flag for me.
Obviously everyone realizes challenges are in the air due to the inactivity and inquiries. And, a board like this will attract a certain level of attention.
Just letting everyone know what has been happening to me and what I'm seeing.
I think that's the pork shoulder I hear pushing against the door...and they want IN.

I have to agree with RM in that there have been a few questionable reports as of late. In fact, I called one out a couple of weeks ago where the poster simply said he went to (wherever) and had a great time.
No mention of the girl's name, activities, etc. Just looked bogus.

Yeah I forgot to mention the name of the girl in this post, she said her name was Penny. I don't get that part either. If anything, not having your id is probably better if you are questioned by the police. They don't know you from Adam, and if you aren't caught en flagrante, then you're legally not a problem, and if they can't put a name to you, then you won't end up in the papers.
Now, if they pull you over in your car after seeing you leave and you have no id, then you're in trouble, not for being at an AMP, but because you're driving without a license.
As for newbs asking questions. I've gotten a couple PM's lately from n00bs directly tied to my posts about H&H, but those have been handled. One I've already mentioned in here (he got a RTFF and a YMMV that's abou it) and the other asked for the # of the place. I told him to actually look at the front of the damn building or to check Google or to RTFF. Then again, those were more normal, and I once someone ask where IN Wisconsin the place was, so I'm guessing I shouldn't be too worried about those.
Anyway, those are my two cents. Don't be stupid, and remember your rights. If you admit to nothing, and there's no witnesses, then they can't do anything to you.

I have seen the advice to "carry your id" in multiple posts but never an explanation as to why.
How does having your id ease the situation?

I did an informal survey this morning. As of ten-thirty, the following were closed--Royal, Happiness, Gold, Green Court, Supra, and 1413.
Rio and M Street (3rd floor) were open. I am told M Street is an avoid at all costs place, anyway.

Saw Jae this weekend. Not the typical beautiful girl that normally works the AMPs, but made a good impression by her friendliness. Prob 5'6, 120. I was having a nice dream. It was the time of the Berlin Olympics (or was it Brazil?) and I was having a nice shower and sauna when 2 of DCs finest interrupted. I was shocked and confused, but Lilly (the lovely mid-30s attendant who was my wttendant for this visit) helped me get through the trauma. It seems that the city occassionally checks the licenses of spas because some operate without. I am happy that they did not wander through the spa and check on the facilities, as I would have been very embarrassed to be seen in the shower with soap (only) covering my body. After about 5 minutes, the 2 in blue did leave and my nightmare turned backed into a dream of pure relaxation.
Lilly, truely a beauty and with a marvelous attitude, helped me relax after the excitement of a few minutes earlier with 10 minutes of gymnastics and 20 minutes, or so, of supine relaxation techniques.
I will repeat the better portions of this dream.

I think the OP was speaking only of a BBBJ but without CIM. CIM is VERY rare but it does happen. BBBJ's at spas themselves seem to come and go. When I lived in South Jersy in the mid-90's I got them on a regular basis sometimes with CIM, both in Jersy and Philly spas. After about a year they came to a grinding halt. I couldn't pay or beg enough for one. So it was for about three years. But I have gotten them more recently (no CIM) at DC spas, but not very often. As we always say in this hobby; YMMV.

I did an informal survey this morning. As of ten-thirty, the following were closed--Royal, Happiness, Gold, Green Court, Supra, and 1413. Rio and M Street (3rd floor) were open. I am told M Street is an avoid at all costs place, anyway. I did not check IHC. I sense a seismic shift, a sea change if you will. The old days may be over. Downtown, Sun, Ginza (my ATF) and the type of service and provider you would get, alas.The D.C. sex industry clean-up has been on-going for a few years now.

South Koreans will be able to visit the United States for up to three months visa-free beginning December, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said Friday.
To that end, Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan and U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during President Lee Myung-bak's U.S. visit from April 15-19 for summit talks with President George W. Bush, a ministry official said.
The two nations will ink implementation agreements on South Korea's joining the U.S. Visa Waiver Program (VWP) by August, when the Seoul government plans to begin issuing electronic passports containing the holders' personal information to the general public, he said.
The government began issuing ``e-passports'' to public officials and diplomats last month on a trial basis, a prerequisite to Seoul's joining in the VWP.
The back cover of the e-passport contains an embedded microchip carrying the holder's basic personal information, including date of birth and any criminal record, to help deter forgery.
``If all procedures go well without difficulties, South Koreans will be able to travel to the U.S. without visas this year,'' the official told reporters, asking not to be named. ``The United States also agrees on the timetable.''
Those who want to stay in the United States longer than three months will still have to obtain visas, he added.
Currently, 27 nations, mostly in Europe, benefit from the program.
The United States has not admitted any new countries to the VWP since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks amid tightening security measures against possible acts of terrorism from incoming travelers.

Time of day should not impact selection, other than how busy the place is. I think there are times to avoid, like Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday mornings can be good, but the girls can be very tired then, depending upon the amount of business the night before.

Anybody have an opinion on the matter?Ok, it's pretty simple. First of all, transportation is your first concern. Drive vs metro. You might need to make a hasty exit so consider this one wisely. I usually drive. Personal preference. I find metro terribly inefficient. Plus I hate the smell of the train. The stations aren't the best smelling either.
Next I guess is recon. READ THE FORUM. READ IT AGAIN. READ AND TAKE NOTES. Without info, you're lost. I usually read every day and twice and three times on the day I ride. I also have a guide of what's open, who's worth the ride, pricing info, etc. Just a small notebook with my notes.
In the past, when this was new to me, I'd burn some time in the neighborhood of the location I wanted to visit. Simply find something else to do/see. Walk around and act stupid. Check out the location (s) of the donut crew, other businesses, access to main streets, etc. Check it out and take notes. Walk around and see what you're dealing with. Not a good feel? Avoid it. Accross the street from the police station? Consider avoiding it. CPHC was located next to a firehouse. Go and evaluate. Here's where your transportaition choice comes in handy. Nobody wants to walk 20 blocks to the metro or through a 'questionable' neighborhood.
Next. Go. I usually do a block walk prior to entering the spot. Funny stuff around the corner, I'm gone. Give everything a good look before. Questionable 'homeless'? Too many people around? The busy appearance? I'm gone. Simple. Sometimes I will call from a pay phone around the corner, and ask something dumb like 'when do you close? ' or 'is Lisa working tonight? '. Get a good feeling before entering, literally and figuratively.
The money is obvious. Don't be cheap. They hate that. Cash is the best. Don't bring the wallet full of ID. Money and maybe your phone. That's it.
I usually have a couple road sodas before I go.
Just use your head and you should be fine.common sense. Drive sensibly if you drive. Don't stand out. Blend in so if you have to make a quick exit, you'll be better off.
That's it. Go and report back. You go now!

If you are fortunate enough to work not too far from the centrally located AMPs, then I suggest 1030ish on a weekday as a great time. If you have a favorite, you will usually find her free and fresh. Sometimes the selection is limited early, but the "good ones" are looking for customers and usually there.

I honestly believe part of the reason why there are fewer young girls / spinners at AMPs nowadays is that there are simply fewer Koreans immigrating to the US now than 10-15 years ago. Korea has become a developed nation (like 25th - 38th in per capita income rank depending on which survey you use). So there are more money-making (and more likely legit) opportunities in the homeland for a young girl. Combine this shallower "pool" with a tendency for the ones who do come over to cluster in some cities like NY, you can see why other cities like DC can lose out. With the new visa system, it'll be easier for a young "tourist" out to make some quick cash without having to commit to a life in a foreign land, so maybe things will get better.

Definitely good and bad times, but you'll have figure it out, because more bad than good can come from yelling them out loud

4:30am at a 24 hr spot is always a good bet. If you can make it out, so are big holidays, bad weather storms, times when there is a big game on or in town.

Could be good could be other... If I did not have to leave early today I would definitely TOFTT. I was a long time visitor at ye old establishment.

Went to 1333 and drew Mimi. Short, curvy little 20-30ish hottie with a nice little body and a round K-girl face with curly hair. Nice tan. Bolt on C-Ds. Had a tatoo.
Didn't have much time so opted for a half hour, no shower, wish I could have done the whole experience but I had plans. Overall, I had a good time for standard fare, for which she was happy. I'd definitely recommend.
Had to use the restroom while there, and when I went to go in, I saw another provider (I think) in there who was not that attractive at all. The difference between her and Mimi were night and day, so make sure you drop a name or hope you get a lucky draw.

Took my lunch hour to have a therapy session with the now infamous Rose. I'd say her performance was right in line with previous reviews. A little weak on the TS and massage but excellent otherwise. I think she may need to have her boob job redone. It's almost as if the implants are approaching her armpits.

I don't think that Ginger Man is pulling our leg here. I was over at Kyoto over 4 weeks ago and when I was making my way out, there were 4 LE cars parked outside. Curious, I decided to stay put inside my car in order to see if the LEs were spying the place. Was in fair DC about a month ago and visited Green. Got "Jade", but when she went to get a cup of water for me, after, of course, I had the most wonderful dream for $.6, I heard mama say something to "Misha." So me thinks she gave me the wrong name. She said "How you know Misha?" I said, "I just heard mama say it!"
Whatever. Got good, full service, no questions asked, and was back in my hotel after a short 1 block walk. Can't beat that.

Finally made it to 1413 after having stopped by Rio, finally finding a parking spot on 9th and going up the stairs only to have mamasan tell me all 3 girls were busy! Sorry, but is the standard now house fee PLUS 1.6? Or 1.6 including house fee? I haven't been in DC in a couple of months, but it had been house fee (0.6), plus $ for a long time.
