I hate to tell you this, but racial stereotypes exist in strip clubs. I have seen it several times. I think that it is based on past experience of black men not being good tippers. I have also seen black dancers ignored by white patrons.

Strip clubs are a place where our personal predigests come out. I have had many great dances from black girls, but do not choose go to the stage for black girls now. My tastes have changed. For that matter, I used to be a big boob man, now, give me A cups and I'm happy.

It is possible that some clubs and dancers are more outgoing than others. After all, you are black, but your cash is still green.

I have been told by some dancers that they will not dance for black men, I am sorry to say. On the other side of the story I am a white male that like black ladies. Most of the time their skin is very soft. I have only been to the Pink Slip one time, but that one time I had a bad experience. Some of the dancers would not dance for me. I then had some large black men (three men I think) stand behind me and start singing honky in the house. Then a very large dancer came to my aid and took me to her stage. By this time, because these guys were standing there watching me, I thought that I would be mugged on the way to my car. However, before going into the Slip I had put most of my money into my shoe, so I had just under 50 buck in my wallet. I took all of the money out of my wallet (making sure that the guys saw that my wallet was empty) and gave the money to the large dancer. She very happy and gave me a big hug, and placed my hand on her boobs. I said thank you for looking out for me and told her that I was leaving. She walked me to the door, grabbed my butt and said "I got your back". This was years ago and I have not been in since. They may have changed since then, I do not know. So in short I am sorry that prejudices happens in strip clubs.

It is interesting in that most of society strongly looks down at these girls and yet many times you will find girls whom will no engage the services of a 1. black man or 2. hispanic.

I suspect in Wash Park this has more to do wit social economic issues than pure race. Wash Park is dominated by blacks and is very poor. The same problems happen for slobby white guys as well. Prejudice my friend is alive an well everywhere.

Personally I like women of all flavors as long as I am attracted to them. I have been with women of all flavors for that matter. Too bad not everyone works that way.

I think you just happen to walk in there and it was bad timing. Most of the time the girls that work there now are so hard up they won't care what color you are. Try it again.

But overall if the ONE stripper won't take your money another one will. Next time if it happens what I usually do if the girl doesn't want to dance for me is to find another one that will and shower her with money (within reason of course) and to make sure the other one sees it. It may or may not have any effect on her (it usually does) but if not it makes me feel a whole lot better.

I have seen black guys get some good attention in every club I visited in this area. I think if a black guy is ignored it's rarely because of his race. Besides, many of the white strippers have black boyfriends anyway. They do give preference to regular customers with $$$. Your clothing or attitude may have also been a factor. Remember that it's a business and they are not sitting next to you because they like you! They are seeking maximum cash flow.

What a mistake. Nothing too exciting with the exception of one girl and she knew that she was Miss Thang. One BBW with bolt-on's wouldn't allow anyone to touch them. I disagree. There are some dumb dancers and then there are some smart ones too. The smart ones often play dumb so they can fit into the party atmosphere and or use customers who think they are naive, dumb, helpless, etc. I've probably encountered more dumb strip club customers than dumb dancers.

I know several dancers who will not do private dances with black men. But they'd be friendly and gladly take the stage money and the black patron probably be none the wiser cause they turn down PD requests with some grace and a plausible excuse.

Maybe its racist but black customers have a bad rep in the clubs. If you ask the black bouncers and doormen at one particular club if a dancer is racist for turning down private dance requests from black customers they might give a surprising answer.

I've been participating in the SW extracurricular activity for a couple of years now (1-2), but only on the east side. However, it seems like patrols have been stepping up the last couple weeks due to a violent incident that occured there recently (information from a SW) not sure if that's the real reason of increased patrol. As far as a rundown of the clubs, there are too many of them. Off the top of my head I count 8 in Washington Park, 4 in Brooklyn, 2 in ESL, a couple in Sauget, a couple in Centreville... There's lots of info in the forums here.

But these kinds of things don't happen fast. When I drove past Cheeks it didn't look like anything had been done on the building, but you never know what's going on inside. For all I know it could just be the manager saying "I'd like to do that" and someone thinking that means "I'm going to do that" and someone else hearing "He's doing that."

Customers are not allowed in -- it isn't like the hot tubs they have at some clubs.

The girls hated the pool, since it was unheated and there wasn't any reason for them to get in it. It doesn't really matter at the moment though. When one girl was thrown in wearing her high heels, she ruptured the lining of the pool and it was drained. I don't think it will be repaired anytime soon.

We ended up at Hollywood. ====Hollywood is a good club, but one thing I don't like about the club is once you pay your $10 evening entry fee, you can't get back into the club if you leave. They don't stamp your hand or give you a ticket or wrist band for re-admittance. If you leave and want to get back into Hollywood, you gotta pay another $10. The other clubs, on the other hand, allow re-entry. (On the positive side, there's no cover during the daytime shift at Hollywood, but you are required to buy a drink during the day.)

Another thing that disappoints about Hollywood is that their 5 so-called Millionaire's Suites are not suites at all. They're just little cubby holes with a really small love seat inside. And privacy isn't absolute since the door of each suite faces the main stage. And the door to each cubby hole is made of frosted glass so that from the outside, it's difficult to see inside but not impossible if you're standing close enough to the glass. Hollywood wants $200 for an hour inside one of these cubby holes--I mean Millionaire's suites. Have any of you used these? Did you get any extras?

For $400, you and a buddy can rent a much more spacious VIP Room at Hollywood, and invite a dancer (or possibly 2 dancers--I don't recall). $400 covers two men and at least 1 dancer. It's $100 extra for each additional male buddy. $400 is the minimum for a VIP Room.

ZeroCool, did you and/or your buddies get enough friction going in the bed dances to fire cannons? :)

A nice thing about Hollywood (and its sister club Crystal Palace) is the bed dances are only $25 per song, compared to $40 per song for a regular lap dance (not a bed dance) at the VCG-owned clubs. The VCG-owned clubs currently don't offer bed dances. Denver-based VCG (http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=VCGH) owns these 5 clubs on the Illinois side: PT's Brooklyn, Roxy's, PT's Sauget, Penthouse, and PT's Centreville. But there's not a bed anywhere inside those clubs.

(I should note that lap dances at Roxy's and PT's Centreville run $30 or less, not $40 like the three other VCG clubs. I guess a good thing about the VCG company is one ticket will get you into all 5 clubs for the night.)

Sadly, since Larry Flynt's Hustler Club removed its beds at the beginning of the year, there are only 2 clubs on the East Side where you can get a bed dance: Hollywood and Crystal Palace. (You can also get a bed dance here in Columbia, Missouri, at Club Vogue.)

Technically, I suppose there is a bed inside PT's Brooklyn, but it costs hundreds of dollars to use--I think $200 or $300, so it's really not a bed-dance-per-song kinda thing. - Rosco

I went for the first time to PT's Centreville Saturday night. Wanted to see

Alex P. Keaton, you're a good negotiator :) I have to admit that the nice thing about some of the Washington Park clubs like Dollies and C-Mowes is that $20 seems to be the customary rate at those clubs--no negotiating necessary with some of the ladies.

Here in Columbia, Missouri, you can even get lap dances for just $10 at Club Vogue--but only on Monday nights. It's a Monday night special that runs all night ;-) No negotiating is necessary. $10 is standard on Monday nights with *all* the ladies.

The regular lap dance price at Club Vogue is $20 on other nights. Again, no negotiating is necessary. All the ladies expect to receive $20 per song for lap dances (used to be $25--it actually went down by $5!). Bed dances, though, are $40 per song or 3 bed dances for $100.

WASHINGTON PARK - The fatal shooting of an Alton native outside a Washington Park liquor store is being investigated as a homicide, authorities said Wednesday.

The victim of Monday night's shooting was identified as David C. Wilkins, 39, of Belleville.

Officials with the St. Clair County Coroner's Office said Wilkins was pronounced dead at 9:02 p.m. Monday at Kenneth Hall Regional Hospital in East St. Louis. They said Wilkins' death resulted from a single bullet wound to the upper right shoulder area.

Master Sgt. Jim Morrisey of the Illinois State Police said Wilkins was shot on the parking lot of the Quick Stop Liquor Store in Washington Park about 8 p.m. Monday.

Wilkins' sister, Christy Wilkins of Wood River, said her brother had been trying to protect his girlfriend when he was fatally shot. She said the victim had picked up his girlfriend from her job in Washington Park, and they had gone to the liquor store.

"Four guys approached the car, soliciting him to buy crack, and he refused," Christy Wilkins said. "They pursued it further, so he jumped out of the car, trying to protect his (42-year-old) girlfriend and her (31-year-old) niece, and a fight ensued."

Christy Wilkins said one of the assailants had a gun and dropped it. She said her brother and the attacker both reached for the gun, with the suspect grabbing it first and shooting the victim.

"My brother got back in the car and drove out of the lot, but then he started fading out," she said. "His girlfriend drove from the passenger's side back to (her place of employment), where she called 911."

Morrisey said police found David Wilkins collapsed in his car. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Man gets 15 years for plot to kill girlfrilend

EAST ST. LOUIS — A man from High Ridge who admitted plotting to kill and cut up his girlfriend was sentenced Friday to 15 years in federal prison.

Christopher A. H**********, 36, who owned the Washington Park Pawn Shop, tried to enlist a part-time employee to kill the woman, whom prosecutors described as his mistress, officials said. She was not harmed.

H********** was mad at the woman, with whom he had an intimate relationship for six years, because she had called his wife from work at a Washington Park strip club, "Dollie's."

H********** pleaded guilty in January in U.S. District Court in East St. Louis of destruction of evidence and use of a telephone with the intent that murder be committed. In exchange, prosecutors recommended the 15-year term.

Prosecutors said that in December 2006, he offered the employee $600 for the job. The next month, he became more insistent, even giving his employee directions to the girlfriend's south St. Louis County apartment and a key to her vehicle.

The employee was supposed to bring proof that the job was done — the victim's hand, purse, keys, cell phone and jewelry. He also was supposed to cut up her tattoos, including one that read "Dr. Loan," which was H**********'s nickname.

Instead, the employee went to the FBI on March 1, 2007. H********** was caught on tape discussing the plot, and agents enlisted the girlfriend's cooperation on March 5, the day she was supposed to be killed.

The employee returned to the pawnshop in Washington Park the next day with her purse and other personal items, and H********** paid him $200. He promised the rest when he got the woman's hand.

H********** was arrested as he burned his girlfriend's purse behind his shop.

Both wife and girlfriend were at the sentencing hearing Friday, where H********** also was fined $10,000 and sentenced to three years on supervised release after he gets out of prison.

I had yet another great experience with Harley at C-Mowes! I'm telling you that all the posts in here about Harley are right on! She is absolutely the BEST! Saturday report:

Started at C-Mowes at about 2:00. Same four day girls as there on Friday, so I left without even getting a drink. Headed down to City Nights to see who was there. City Lights (former MKII) used to be a biker bar, and lots of people apparently didn't know it was back opened as a club -- being raided and then closed for more than a year didn't help either. They spent $40,000 on a new lighted sign that could be seen from the bridge. And now they are putting on a new roof to give the place a less "abandoned" look.

I was going to just write about my day, but I see I have to join in the Harley discussion too. First my day today. I was hesitant about going to C-Mowe's today with it being Friday as I only go to see the one lady there and she is only guaranteed to work Tuesday- Thursday. But I got some free time today and took a chance. I figured if she wasn't there I could at least have a couple drinks, and decide then if I wanted to check out Wise Guys seeing how I have never been in there yet. But it was my lucky day and Harley was working today! You have no idea how happy I was to finally have something go my way unexpectedly. It's been awhile since I had any good luck. Major Case Squad investigates Belleville death

The St. Louis Major Case Squad is investigating the death of a 31-year-old woman who was found dead Saturday night inside her Belleville apartment.

Terry "Cheyenne" J. Learn was discovered by Belleville police after they forced in the door of her second-floor apartment in the 700 block of Royal Heights Road, said Lt. David Hayes, deputy commander of the major case squad.

Learn's body was badly decomposed, Hayes said, and she likely had been dead for about a week. An autopsy will be performed Monday to determine the manner and cause of death.

The major case squad was called in because the circumstances are suspicious, Hayes said.

Police came to Learn's apartment about 7:45 p.m. after concerned neighbors called to say they had not seen her in a week and that her car, with windows rolled down, had not been moved during that time, Hayes said.

Learn was last seen about 7:30 p.m. April 17 at the Brooklyn, Ill., nightclub where she worked, Hayes said. She lived alone at the apartment. Neighbors did not report hearing or seeing anything suspicious, Hayes said.

Detectives found some evidence at the apartment that suggest a possible direction for their investigation, Hayes said without elaboration.

Anyone with information about the case should call the major case squad at the Belleville Police Department, 618-234-1218, ext. 755.

He said he last talked to his wife, whom he calls Jo, about one month ago. She was depressed and crying, he said.

"Taking advantage of Jo was the simplest thing in the world, if you just had some drugs," Michael Learn said. "That pretty much dominated her life for the last three or four years."

She was the mother of a young child, Michael Learn said, but he said he was not the father.

Terry Learn enjoyed reading, watching movies and was a prolific writer of poetry who had earned her GED, Michael Learn said. Terry Learn, whose maiden name was Rader, grew up in Tennessee but had lived in the St. Louis area since she was about 14.

"She had a very hard life," Michael Learn said. "I'm devastated. … It's basically still sinking in at this point."

I only knew her as a Roxy's girl who began working there within the past year. She resembled her photograph. She wore her glasses at work. She lost a noticeable amount of weight during her tenure at the club, and the other girls assumed this was due to drug use.

BELLEVILLE -- Authorities say a 31-year-old woman found dead in her Belleville apartment Saturday had died of a drug overdose, and there was no evidence of foul play.

Police found the body of Terry Jodette "Jody" R**** in her apartment in the 700 block of Royal Heights Road, after a neighbor called 911 suspecting that she was in trouble.

Police said she had been taking drugs intravenously, but would not release what drugs she had been taking. An autopsy revealed nothing that would indicate a homicide, and her door had been locked when police arrived at the scene. Her body was badly decomposed; authorities believe she had already been dead for several days.

R**** had worked as a stripper at Roxy's in Brooklyn and had two young daughters who were living with their father. Her mother, J.T. L******, said Jody had struggled with drug abuse for more than 10 years, and had tried rehab several times without success. L****** said her daughter was planning to move back home in June and wanted to get out of exotic dancing.

She described her daughter as a beautiful girl with big eyes who used to write poetry and draw. Jody had attended Hazelwood West High School and then got her GED. She attended Florissant Valley Community College for less than a year, but dropped out around the time she started using drugs, L****** said.

"Her eyes will always be in my heart," L****** said.

I was there Monday night for their kickoff of their anniversary week. I got a 'free' meal and swim googles (and rain poncho given to people on pervert row for feature performer). Got to see a great feature performer (only did one show), a shower show where the girl dribbled the 1st time but shot a foot or more the 2nd time she came, and a female customer willingly pulled on stage by the dancer get stripped and 3 more dancers join in on devouring her (2 @ Y and 1 on each breast and none of them looking for tips).

Friday night I went with some friends to C-Mowes and saw the most entertaining train wrecks I've ever seen. There was a really hot red head dancing with another chick who was completely wasted on I don't know what. They were getting pretty frisky with each other. My buddy took the red head to the back but got no special attention. I told him he did something wrong, WTF? As this was going on, a fight between a few of the girls erupted. Apparently one pulled anothers hair in a playful act just before they were supposed to share a stage. Several of the girls disappeared for a while and the "injured" gal sat in a fetal position at the bar crying for about 20 minutes. Then she had to go onstage and just sat there crying. All the while, the bartender was screaming at different girls about different things. This went on for over an hour. I was laughing too hard. I took no one in the back on this visit.

Its that time of year where for the next 2 or 3 months you will see alot of me.

So, what have I missed?

I see they are putting a new roof on the old Cheeks.

I also see the Chemelon is burnt.

They are doing some work on Dollies and City Nights as well.

They did a nice job on Wise Guys when they turned it into a club.

Seen there has been a couple shootings in that area of the last few months. That needs to stop. I was told a shooting took place last week and when the EMT got to the site they were shot as well. Then about a month ago a member of a dancers family got shot. That really puts a "spin" on this "sport".

Blaine E. F******* claims he did not provoke a beating by employees of Larry Flynt's Hustler Club in Washington Park last year, according to a suit filed May 19 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.

F******* claims the incident, which caused him to suffer permanent disfigurement, occurred at 2:25 a.m. on Sept. 30, 2007.

Seeking in excess of $100,000 in damages, F******* claims that Hustler Club employee Dave E. R** and several other employees negligently used excessive force in attempting to restrain him.

F******* claims medical bills, pain, loss of normal life and lost income.

File a complaint ! Go to "Smoke Free Illinois" , you can file a complaint on line or else call 866-973-4646 (Illinois Dept. of Public Health). The establishment can be fined and also the smoker. Jamesj, yes you could file a complaint. The Hollywood Showclub allows smoking too so lets file a complaint about them. I find it hilarious that here we are discussing how best to break one vice law but want to turn in a business for breaking another vice law. So you can complain and maybe eventually the state will step in and prosecute but the state really doesn't want to do that. They want it done locally, so local tax dollars can be wasted and not take up state tax dollars that are better wasted in other avenues. So for right now don't expect the smoking law to be enforced in St. Clair County, the county prosecutor is refusing to do so.

After going to the Cards game on Sunday last week it was time to check out the bars. I have not been in this area for over a year. My first stop was in Hustler. They wanted 8 bucks just to go in. I remembered that other places were much friendlier so I left there. Went down to Hollywood. Walked in and had a coke. I was surprised at all the tv screens showing porno. At leaset 6 screens and 6 different movies going on. I stayed there for one drink and split. Went over to Miss Kitty's. Paid 4 bucks for cover and stayed a half
hour or so. Girls were nice there but I had never been to C-Mowes and wanted to check it out too. After reading the posts here I was surprised to find Harley there. She introduced herself when she was on the stage. She confirmed she usually does not work Sundays but she said she was bored that day and came in. Very nice and friendly. She suggested that the VIP room was an option for me and she would be ready when I was. No pressure sales pitch. After a while I paid the barmaid 10 bucks and whent with Harley in the "VIP" room. For an extra ($65 or $75) I had a nice time with her for two songs. She is good at what she does and seems very nice. I would go back there in a heart beat if i could. You all take care and be safe.

File a complaint ! Go to "Smoke Free Illinois" , you can file a complaint on line or else call 866-973-4646 (Illinois Dept. of Public Health). The establishment can be fined and also the smoker. Lets call the IL Dept of public health. I am sure they will only see the cig smoke, and fine them for that, NOT. Did you ever think that some of the things, that some people enjoy, maybe a bigger violation of Public health laws, and it is these laws that LE uses to shut down some of these places.

Next time you are smoking crack and you see someone take the label off of their cold medicine, please call the DEA. I am sure they will leave your crack pipe alone.

Eventually the smoking the laws will be enforced in St.Clair County. I'm not going to go into the legal details or argue the point but I do believe the St. Clair County State's Attorney is correct in his decision to not prosecute. The clubs breaking the law are still opening themselves up to civil action and I believe that eventually the technicalities of the law will be ironed out.

Despite the non-enforcement of the law, most of the clubs are noticeably less smokey than before. I say be patient and it will get worked out eventually.

Started off with a drive down cr and exchange. Seen a really good WSW and by the time I turned around one of you guys "nabbed" her up. She was on the tracks about 11:30pm. This goes to show you that you have to be fast or you get beat out. You guys could share just a little and toss one or two to a guy thats been out of the game for a year. No hard feeling, I will hit my stride soon. But until then feel free to toss a few my way.

After getting beat out of a good WSW I took a drive over to City Nights about midnight or so. This place is done up like Miss Kittys on the inside. Ox board everywhere. There was some guy in there painting a bunch of crap on the walls with spray paint cans. The club was foggy with paint fumes so I took off. There was 5 dancers there 3 black small frame girls and two white not to bad looking girls about 7 or 8 on the stripper scale for the whites and 6 on the scale for the black girls.

So I then turned to WP to find a little fun. I went to Blondies around 2. This place was winding down and I was the only one in the place. I did get to meet Kya. Tallaser it correct she is looking for a new car so there will be a change of plates soon.

She claims she was working from noon on so she was a little tired and wanted to go in the back to "take it easy". Her idea of taking it easy cost me $135 but was well worth it. For the price you get 30min of her time and you can do whatever you have in mind fs and then some. Kya is white, 25 (or so), little thick (just like I like them), and has a great attitude. The only thing I did not like was she has a "ghetto sounding" way of speaking. She also said she worked at Bottoms up for a few months. She also talkes to much about things I don't want to hear. Example. I hate when dancers tell me how many privates the have done today. I don't want to hear I am number 12 or 15 today. Lie to me tell me you have waited all day for me to show up or something stupid like that. Just don't tell me I am the last man in a long drawn out--day long gang bang.

About 4 years ago, STL was my sales territory. I used to take an afternoon and evening off and make a tour of the joints.

Generally started at Dollies, just in case anything good happening. Usually not. On to CMowes (this is all before the fire). Crystal would make me happy. There was a fabulous girl called Rebel, saw her twice then she must have left town. Even did it with CJ once.

On to Miss Kitty's and to Roxy. Ended up always at Chameleon were I don't think I was ever disappointed.

Anyhoo, I got transferred to Milwaukee. Nothing like Chameleon up there, I can tell you. But now it looks like I might be sent back to STL to fix up the mess my successor made of it.

I had a chance to see finally see Harley sat. I am not sure if I was expecting to much or what but I was a little disapointed. I didn't do a private with her but I sat at the stage for one of her sets and that was enough. I personally like shaved legs and smooth. Hers were pretty sharp. Her breath about knocked me out. Her ass wasn't very tight it was kind of jiggly. Im also not a fan of real dark roots with yellow[ bleached ] hair. Her tits were kinda small there just wasn't a whole lot there for me. Maybe I caught her on a bad day. I know some guys rave on here about her but she just wasn't for me. Then I went to HSC and had a great time with Mercedes.

I have been emailing Harley back and forth for some time now and this week I am on vacation and was FINALLY able to make it to C-Meows to see her.

This is the first time I have ever been to C-Meows so I didn't know what to expect. As I drove into Washington Park I have to admit I was beginning to wonder what I was getting myself into. I pulled in to the club's parking lot was felt much better since it was surrounded by a fence and had security cameras in a couple of locations. I walked in and instantly blinded by darkness.coming in from such a sunny day, I wasn't able to adjust to quickly. I went up to the bar and ordered a Coke and was looking for the woman I came to see. I didn't see her and her name wasn't on the board. As I sat there drinking my Coke, a hot blonde with perfect tits came and sat by me. Her name was Bobby. She is smoke'n hot and we begin to talk and she told me a bit about herself and the club. As we talked she could not keep her hands off my lap. Which I didn't mind As we were talking, Harley walked out from the back. She went up to the board and was stage dancing after Bobby.

Anyways, we talked for a while, she lied about how long she'd worked there (She said six days, but I'm positive she's the one I saw in street clothes dancing there almost three weeks ago), gave me some sob story about how she was robbed at Crystal Palace, and I decided to give the younger model a spin.

$1.0 + $.1 to the bar was the damage. CBJ and CFS, with her in cowgirl. Very attractive young girl, has a old preggy belly (has kids, not currently preggers), and kind of looks like Winona Ryder, which I dig 'cause I think Winona's hot as fuck. Now, for the review. The "VIP" in the new C-Mowes is basically the same as the old one. A little less privacy because of how it and the club are arranged. The old C-Mowes building burned down. If you search back in the archives there was some discussion. It took awhile but they finally rebuilt. Whoever designed the interior of the new building really didn't know what they were doing IMHO. They could have done so much better especially for the private dance area, the stages and the bathroom.

I visited Soft Touch for the third time this past Thursday night. I walked in at about 7:00 PM and it was just two male bartenders. I sat down and then they turned on the music. 4 or 5 dancers came out. 1 sat on each side of me. One talking my ear off and the other stroking me. WASHINGTON PARK -- A well-known St. Louis man known in the community as "The Rose Man" was fatally shot early Monday at a strip club in Washington Park.

Lee Nixon was shot once in the head after a gunman fired several shots into the club, the Soft Touch Lounge, Illinois 111 and St. Clair Avenue, from outside about 3:30 a.m. Another man, who was not identified, was wounded.

Police said the shooting occurred after a fight broke out inside the club.

Nixon, 64, was known for selling roses and cards inside the clubs to men who would give them to the girls, and also to people in the community who had no transportation.

You can get room for the night at one of the hourly places in Fairmont or the one in Washington Park that is across the street from Miss Kitty's. I feel fairly safe in those locations when I get a room for a few hours but don't think I'd want to spend the night. But you can't hardly beat the location of the one in WP, lol.

A couple months ago I got a room for the weekend at the Holiday Inn in Collinsville for $50 a night plus tax & fees etc. through the bidding process on Priceline.

Where would you guys recommend staying for easy access to the good clubs?I'd suggest O'Fallon, IL. Go to Priceline.com and click "Name Your Own Price". Choose Collinsville, IL and your dates. Make a bid of $35 in the "Collinsville-Fairview" area you will almost certainly be accepted by the Extended Stay Suites in O'Fallon. It is at exit 14, and Washington Park is exit 6, so that's 8 miles away.

The hotel doesn't have daily maid service, but you can get clean towels any time. I don't care about not having maid service, since I can sleep late and don't have to worry about leaving lubes and condoms and toys laying around. The rooms each have a full sized fridge and a kitchen. I love it because I can stock up on drinks and treats for when I bring a girl back to the room, and it is close to the Washington Park clubs. And if I decide to go down to Centreville I can hop on 157 pretty easily.

Shooting victim Lee N**** was flower-selling nightclub fixture

Two hours before dawn at the Soft Touch Lounge, Lee "The Rose Man" N**** sold his last red rose.

A bullet ended his labor of love.

N****, 64, was shot just after 3:00 a.m. Monday at the Washington Park nightclub where he frequently sold roses. He died later at a St. Louis hospital.

Witnesses told police that shots were fired from a passing car into the club, hitting N**** and another person. The other victim is being treated at an undisclosed location. Illinois State Police are investigating the attack.

N**** was a local icon among African-Americans. For decades, he sold roses, teddy bears and balloons in area nightclubs, lounges and bars — always wearing his trademark red suit and hat.

R&B singer Felicia "Silky Sol" S********** said she hadn't come across too many hustlers like N****. And she meant that with the greatest respect.

S********** said she would see him selling roses at one nightclub then move on to another nightclub and there he'd be.

"I used to ask him if he had wings, because he would always beat me there," S********** said. "He would always give me a rose. His roses were first-rate. They didn't have thorns, and they weren't wilted. He took his time to get his stuff together."

N**** could be seen selling his wares on the corner of Kingshighway and Natural Bridge Avenue, at Martin Luther King Drive and Kingshighway, and in his own storefront at 5*** Martin Luther King Drive.

Valentine's Day was the biggest day of the year for the Rose Man.

In a 2005 Post-Dispatch story, N**** explained why he did what he did. It wasn't for the money, he told reporter Tavia E****.

"I do it for love, really," he said.

N**** didn't like to talk about how much he made. But his longtime companion, Dora A*******, says they never wanted for anything.

"He always took care of home, and we never went hungry," A******* said Monday. "He was a man. All the bills were paid. And all I had to do was cook and clean." A*******, 52, said she met N**** when she was 16 while he was selling earrings. N**** and A******* had one son; he has three other children.

"He probably wasn't making a whole lot of money, but he was making an honest living," said Harry C******, a friend and owner of 714 the Agency, a talent management company. "I never knew him to take a day off."

N**** was a staple at C******'s Select Saturday parties and Suite2fifty club.

"When the Rose Man first arrived at our event, we knew we had made it," C****** said. "When my club closed, he would always offer words of encouragement and ask when a new one would open."

C****** hopes to put together a multi-artist, all-star track paying tribute to his friend.

N****, a native of West Memphis, Ark., lived in Chicago after returning from Vietnam in 1967. He worked briefly for U.S. Steel, until he saw a sign in a store window advertising socks for sale. He took all the money he had in his pocket, $21, and bought three dozen pairs.

In a few hours time he had unloaded them all and found his calling.

Convinced that just about anywhere was warmer than Chicago, N**** headed south to St. Louis in 1971, where fate gave him a sign.

"I saw a white woman wearing a tuxedo come in the Carousel Motel on Kingshighway and sell out of red roses in five minutes," N**** said.

In that instant, red roses became his trademark.

Sylvester C*******, better known as Sylvester the Cat, a radio personality for Majic 104.9, said he had spoken to N**** a few days ago.

"We were just talking about the business, the way the economy is and getting all of his licks, and he said everything was good with him," C******* said. "He was an entrepreneur."

He also was a man with a heart, said Delores D********, 49, of St. Louis.

"He always put a flower out when someone got killed on the city streets," D******** said.

Maybe someone will do the same for him: a red rose, with no thorns.

So after the PT experience I head over to the Crystal palace. I considered C-Mowes but didn't want to drop over a benjamin on a BJ. I agree, it's time to move on. This is about sharing experiences and information. We all have good and bad experiences and the ladies know that 100% of the guys that come in aren't looking for them.

On a further note, I hit MK's and C-mowes last Saturday. Nothing much at either place. MK's had about 8 girls and only 2 of them held my attention. I can tell you that MK,C-mowes and Blondies are pretty much ok with smoking. That goes for day and night shifts. I can't remember if anyone was smoking at Wise Guys when I was in there last.

I have witnessed smoking being allowed at: Roxy's, PT's Brooklyn (Platinum Club), PT's Sports, Penthouse, C-Mowes, Miss Kitty's, and Hollywood Showclub. After St. Clair State's Attorney Haida declared he would not prosecute the law because of technical flaws, the ashtrays came back out.

At 7:30 PM Sunday, I guess you can say I christened City Nights with a semen shower [Lol]. City Nights is the strip club in East St. Louis on 8th Street which turns into Mississippi Avenue and leads south to Sauget, Illinois. The club is owned by the same person or persons who own Miss Kitty's in Washington Park. Well, let me tell ya, they renovated City Nights. It's much nicer than the last time I popped in a few months ago. Much, much nicer, and much larger too. Maybe they tore down some walls. It's a good club now. They are very steep and narrow stairs, so I'm betting there will be a second bar upstairs. No one will be running up and down those stairs a lot. I didn't go up though. Two stages and lots of tables, but only one couch. I didn't see the VIP room.

Ariel was there (from MK on Sunday). She told me that the management is planning on putting hot tubs upstairs. She said she thought they'd charge a flat fee to go upstairs with a girl ($150 was her guess), and that the girl would get a cut of that. I suppose any action would be negotiated additionally. Not sure how well that will go over, since their license is still as a "bikini bar" and no nudity is allowed. Considering how much they spent on renovations (including a $50,000 sign that can be seen from the bridge), they have to think that it will be profitable. That place has such history that I'd hate for it to close. It was a mob bar all the way back to the 1920s, and in the 90s Froggy's was a rough and tumble biker bar where anyone with only a knife was considered under-equipped.
