Now at hollywood I have seen a couple dancers I would definately would love to have extras with. Can you pm me with a couple names and where they were from? I don't have any names from Hollywood. You just have to go and suss out who is likely to offer extras. One way to tell is to ask about her prices. Something like "I'd love to spend some time with you, but I'm not sure I have enough to have a really good time." If they give a flat price, you are probably out of luck. If she says something like "Depends on what we do back there..." you may have hit the motherlode.


Also which club was Crystal from?She's from PT's in Centreville. I'm not recommending her in particular or anything. I just happen to remember her because she was the roommate of a girl I was dating. She's a sweet mid-30's brunette with fake breasts. Older than most of the other dancers, but sexy in an experienced way.

By the way, Crystal Palace in Centreville is owned by the same guy as Hollywood in Washington Park. It is the same style (bright, lots of neon, with porn on tv). I find CP girls to be a bit more lenient than Hollywood.


One thing I don't understand doesnt the private dances at PT's take place off to the side they don't have a private room do they? So how would you get extras there? Anyways thanks for you info.PT's has a group of private rooms over by the bathrooms and girls' dressing area. They are actually a lot more private than many other clubs' private areas. Lots of the girls prefer to give privates on the couches in the "Couples Area" -- which is a pretty good indication that nothing is gonna happen.

I don't know how many of you guys look at the SCL site on a regular basis. On the page for Chameleon Club comments someone has posted saying that the back room is being videotaped. I find that hard to believe myself since anything on video could cause more trouble for the club than the "stars". Another comment said girls were fired for brining it up to the owner. A lot if not most of the stuff on that site is bull but it might be wise to take a look around and ask the dancers some questions about it. There's a couple of dancers who seem to be pretty straight shooters and I'll definitely ask them the next time I'm over there.

I could see them having a camera to keep an eye on things for safety reasons but taping it seems stupid. Unless they are trying to target specific people they know. Guess they could sell it on the internet, or just post it on youtube for laughs! (If you get to know a dancer or two some will tell you some funny shit...some of it just plain funny and some of funny in a sad kinda way.) Personally if they would try to blackmail me I'd not pay, let everybody here know and then call the ISP.

Like i said I doubt if its true but be cautious and look around if you can the next time you're in the back. Maybe we'll all have to start wearing paper bags over our heads or masks! I'll be the guy in the Groucho Marx glasses!

For those newbies who don't know, the Chameleon Club is basically a massage parlor with a bar that serves alcohol and a stage with women in bikinis dancing for you and giving you lap dances. It's got it all. It's a bar, a lap dance club, and a massage parlor! What more could you want! I love that club!

Well, on Sunday evening, I stopped in at the Chameleon. There were several ladies working that night, but a hot mama named Crystal, who was flirting with the drinkers at the bar, caught my attention. I knew immediately I was hooked, lined, and sinkered when I saw her face and body.

Holy moly, that lady knows how to excite a man. Giminy! After her lap dance, I went into the back room with her, and wowser, did she give "it" to me. She had me panting so hard. ! God bless her.

Just remember that $35 of the money you give to the lady of your choice in order to visit "the back room" goes to the club, not to the lady. So be generous. Let me tell ya, the back room is quite spacious, clean and neatly kept, and full of nice, big clean couches. They take really good care of that room. It's a striking contrast to the haphazard-looking bar and stage area. You'll like it back there.

Entrance to the club is always free. You just need to buy one 4-dollar drink. I chose the bottled water since I was driving. After Crystal's attention, it was the best-tasting 4-dollar water I ever had.

The club is located in Washington Park, Illinois, near Saint Louis.

One thing I recommend is bringing your cash with you unless you want to get zinged by a $10 ATM fee that the club's ATM charges. Get "zinged" by Crystal instead (if you catch my meaning), and not the ATM.

I went in there briefly early Saturday evening. Your friend is right. It's pretty sparse right now. I didn't see anyone dancing. The one lady I saw in the club was seated at a table with 2 or 3 gentleman. I think the lady was a customer of the bar.

She caught my eye because at first I thought she might be a dancer working there. After she raised and wiggled her index finger to motion me over, and the three of us began talking, it became clear to me that she was not a dancer there.

They asked me if I knew where The Colony is. I originally thought they wanted directions because they didn't know how to get there. I've never been there, but knew where The Colony was from google maps. So I gave them directions. Then they asked me twice if I had ever been there ;-)

I said no, I've never been there--it's a little too wild for me. (I don't even like the openness in the Chameleon Club's back room.)

After I had left the club that night, it dawned on me what they were asking ;-)

Just wanted all of you to know how much fun the black strip clubs are on the East Side of the river. Rolled into town on Wednesday stopped by Soft Touch in afternoon, then Pink Slip, then Bottoms Up. I know that I wanted to get laid, but did not trust the clubs. Very dangerous, but I started passing out my trick phone number to about a total of six girls. The last one was from Bottoms Up. She said that she did not have a phone, but would stop by my motel after hours. I gave her the room number, she seemed sweet and down on her luck. I went back to the motel, took some medicine, and then a nap.

A little after 4 in the morning I get a knock on the room door and a sweet little ebony princess is waiting, can I come in? I checked for friends, and then let her in. A good hour plus of everything you could imagine. The whole time, my phone was ringing off the hook from the other strippers who wanted a piece of my cash. Two of them kept calling the next day while I was on business.

Thursday, did the Brooklyn swing again. Hooked up same way with another fine ebony sweatheart. Great service, everything bareback, but I chose to glove up for the deed.

Satuday, I hooked up with the little Sweetie from Wednesday. All in all a great time. I gave out my number when we agreed on a price. I have only visited Washington Park a few times and have found myself drawn consistently to this club. There is a nice mix of dancers - someone to appeal to almost any taste.

I was there during the day shift this week and danced privately with three beautiful ladies. Takeout was available from two of these ladies and I plan on ordering off the menu on my next trip back.

One of the dancers offered me a "happy ending" to my dance and I received a marvelous HJ and exploded all over her beautiful breasts. I will return!

Yes, she is kinda skinny and older. She use to work at C-moes and before that at The Red Garder. I am sure she worked at other places too. I do not recall a place called the Rose. So many clubs so little time.

The last two days I went into WP area after work for some strip club fun, around the 6:00 Pm timeframe.

1. Dollies - Not good experience at all. The first day, I just walked out saying I will come back later as there were 2-3 girls and around 10 men. Not a good situation. Yesterday, did pay the cover ($2) and the 2-drink minimum (came to $7 for my h2o) and just wanted to try out eventhpugh the ratio was still bad with much more men. The ladies also were not interested in anyone new and stuck around the ones they knew. No great variety either. It was an absolute dissppointment. Vowed never to go back there. Could just be the timing, but then I have been there in the afternoons and have never had a good time. Maybe nights are good, but I cant go that time

2. Chameleon - My first trip there was yu'day after Dollies. walked out after 2 mins. 1-2 girls and way more men for that. Also, one of them dancing and the other surrounded by men :-) Didnt look very promising

3. Hollywood - Was there on the first day and had a decent time. The entry is free and drinks are not very expensive. So, better than Dollies. Had a good time watching some of the girls. I have noticed that they always have atleast 5-6 girls anytome I go in. Took a private dance . AT $25 per song it is expensive, but they keep the palce very clean and the one I had (rachel, I guess) was very nice to me starting with a soft bite ( u know where) and a rub. Overall, had a good experience. This place is also safe and I think gives you the option to make a choice rather than cover charges and drink minimums. Especially when u dont have the right girls, this is a good system.

4. Miss Kitty's- Went in yesterday around 6:00 and there were hardly 1-2 girls. I have had a good time hjere on my last visit during the AN. SO, I guess this was just bad timimng or more girls were in the back (whats with that in some stripclubs , saw that at other places too) or maybe doing privates. They have a god private place and I had fun the last time I went there.

I have also posted a small report on Roxy's of Broklyn. Had a much beter experience there. Much more girls and a good varierty with the right attitude. Less hiding out back and more out there trying to mingle with everyone rather than just around the ones they know. I think more so because they get new girls more frequently too.

Last weekend I was up in St. Louis for work again, so I ran across the border for a bit of recreation. Went to Chameleon to see what was going on. To my suprise, nothing. I had a beer, then and chatted with the bartender and the one girl actually dancing. They promissed big things if I just waited. So, I didn't...

I wanted to see Larry Flint's Hustler Club. I never have stopped in to see what it offered, so this was my chance. I settled in to have a beer when a blonde stunner sat down next to me. We chatted for a bit, then we went to the VIP for a naked lap dance. 30 minutes, she is nude an laying on top of me. Nice. Her shit ended and I moved on to a brunette. She was hot, very pin-up looking with a lot of tatoos. She was sitting with a Sugar Daddy type. I kept making eye contact with her and she went to the ladies room and stopped to see me as she returned. She made an excuse the older guy and we ran off to a small room with a locking door. Much the same, but this girl was more aggressive and took my zipper down to get access. I was sure there was no finish offered here just a way to make me semi-happy.

With the time up, I decided to try Chameleon again. This time, 4 girls and about 8 men. Now just for comparison, the girls at the Hustler are Porsche 911SC Turbos and the girls at Chameleon are generally 1972 Chevy Vegas. A few are nice, fewer are even hot. But generally I go the because they are a sure thing.

I sat there drinking a beer with no one dancing, girls doing nothing but drinking also. A younger, black girl came over and sat with me and said that I looked bored. I talked with her for a few moments before she asked me to the back room. We hit the couch, and I found out that she is extreemly fit with a very low fat percentage.

I remember none of the names, since they are all fake-so I just can't seem to remember.

The Rose was where you would exit 64 to go north to Brooklyn. It was the first East Side club I went to (c1984-85). They closed in the late '80's. It was a wilder time and place. Jamie's big thing was offering a taste of breast milk.

FInally made a trip to Hustler. It was around 2:30 in the AN on Monday and the crowd was less but there were atleast 7-8 girls. I guess that was more than the guys in there. Teh girls were also very friendly and nice. Met Terri and her friend. They had super body and nice attitude. Didnt go for the pvt dance (which I was told ranges from $20 to $30 based on if its a couch or bed etc).

I was also told that this was formerly Deja Vu (most of u may know this already) and I was reminded of a club by the same name in Tampa, FL which was my favorite those days. So, this may be good except its probably more expensive compared to the other places around here.

I went to Miss Kitty's, the Chamleon Club, and the Hustler club this afternoon.

Hustler club was the first stop. Nothing to report. Kind of quiet, nothing extra, and no one particularly friendly.

Miss Kitty's, on the other hand... damn. After a seven dollar cover/first drink (why a cover charge during the afternoon?) Got private dances from 2 different dancers. The first allowed my hands to roam free. The second grabbed me and said for two Jackson's I could leave happy. I did. I asked about take out and my new friend said it might be possible if I were willing to get to know her better. Knowing the sound of "no" when I hear it, I pushed on to the Chameleon Club.

Things have changed, as the previous posts pointed out. The girls don't get naked out front any more... mostly. Sitting closer to the stage might give you a better view. I saw some familiar faces from the old C-Mowes, including my all time favorite red headed dancer. I also heard from almost every woman working that C-Mowes is going to open soon. All in all, a great visit.

There are a couple ladies @ HS that are sumptious indeed, not so IMHO @ Hustler.I can't confirm what BSFR said about Hustler or Hollywood, but one of my boys got laid by a stripper at Roxy's in Brooklyn in '03. The broad took him to a shack off premises. Not recommended, but he was thinking with his "other" head. Thankfully he wasn't robbed, but like me he's a brother; we sort of blend in over there unlike white folks. BBBJ and BBFS for .70 He didn't know it at first, but discovered that she was on her period at the time, so his dick was all red and nasty afterwards. My boy forgot his "armor", something I never leave home without; he's fucking lucky he didn't catch anything. Anyway, he told me her stripper name, but I don't remember; she probably doesn't work there anymore anyway due to high turn over and it being 4 years ago. In essence, Roxy's is an option, assuming you get take out.

Made the rounds Wed evening and left disappointed. This was partly due to tactical error of clubbing during the 6-8 PM window (i.e. shift-change time). That was the soonest I could make it, and I was hoping to get some time in w/ the "friendlier" day-shift gals before they left for the day. Unfortunately all of the clubs that I visited were in transitional mode, and the primary result was a shortage of available strippers all around and generally lackluster experience.

I began my brief evening at HSC but left before ordering a drink or even sitting down. Reason being the simple disproportion of available dancers to PLs. There were maybe 6 ladies working and around 20 or so customers sitting at tables and at the bar. This seems to happen more and more both here and Hustler. I like to begin my clubbing sessions with the hotter ladies at these 2 clubs but I'm not going to waste my time with this kind of sausage fest.

Next, I hit Ms. K's, but the day shifters had already departed (it was now 7). Had a nice time, but nothing beyond the standard; I find the mileage divide between day and night shift to be more pronounced at Ms. K's than any other local club. It didn't help that the manager made several not-so-subtle visits to the lap room during my privates. Maybe the below report of a crackdown on extras at Ms. K's is true. My question is, why? Extras occur with seeming impugnity at other WP clubs, so I assume it's not a LE issue. Are they trying to class the joint up? LOL, good luck.

Decided to venture down the slippery slope (i.e. up Kings) to Chameleon. Three gals working, none particularly appealing. The night shift girls were starting to filter in, but I didn't have to time to wait for them so made my way to Dollie's. (Interestingly, the parking lot for Blondie's, which I passed along the way, was more crowded than any of the other clubs besides HSC. Didn't stop in however.) The choice of gals at Dollie's was truly appaling. One looked okay from afar, but when I visited her at the stage found that her face was home to multiple large meth scabs. I cannot fathom the thinking of the manager who allowed her to check in and work for the night. It is interesting to me that the gals at Chameleon, the supposed "bottom of the totem pole," are always (in my experience) superior to those at Dollie's, which should be a rung up. I think I'm done w/ Dollie's, despite the virtual guarantee of at least a HJ. Anyway, I suffered through the stageside dance and then immediately packed it in. Will return to make the rounds Saturday and hopefully have a better time then.

Hello again folks, thought I would report on report on a bit of a whirlwind trip around WP on a trip into town a few weeks ago.

First, soft touch at some point since the end of last baseball season changed their opening time from 2pm (I think it was 2 anyway) to now 4pm. So that was some wasted time, headed over to MKs.

Standard good stuff still going on there, girls still jump in your laps, its good if its not too busy, though if too many guys to to the 1 stage they are working, its gets much less so. It beats me why it has to be "night shift" before they will work multiple stages if it is clear there are multiple guys wanting to tip. You can go sit at a stage alone and they can't take a hint. Thats the one thing they should change about this place. Girly were hard selling dances, including the recently mentioned holly but, around here $25 per song with no action is too much.

So now that it was getting closer to 4 and that 1 stage at MKs was getting busy, I made my first venture over to hollywood. Now I should say I was only in the place for 10 minutes. It did not strike me as an extras type place, some of the girls (not all it appeared) encouraged boob grabbing on-stage, but due to the type of big round chairs with armrests they had, theres no jumping it to laps like at MKs so, its probably a good place to go if you just want to chill out and cup a feel occasionally, not much else IMHO.

Firstly the big side of the club was open, which was odd I'd only seen this once before on a trip into town on a saturday, never during the week. Long story short there is a section of that part of the club next to the ladies dressing room with a door that locks .. it is seperate, it has its own stage, couches, tables, everything, guy let us in there for $20, then basically anything went. It basically ended up being a co-ed nude lap dance for multiple songs before we even did anything, and that time was basically bonus time because even after that the pretty much standard $100 rate for the club still applied. Awesome! While this all happened in like 25-30 minutes it may have still been the best time I've ever had in a SC, and given how many I've been to around the country, thats saying something.

I can only say that you guys who don't give this club a chance, are missing something.

Ok I suppose I sorta of need to tone down my prior post. See that was a more of a rarirty tha commonplace I guess.

With that first girl she was more than happy to just go for a pretty long period of time with only guarantee being $10 per song, (and was ok with not getting that til after) and things went at it or quite a while before she even started talking big money, which as I'm sure you can imagine, is good for the mood.

Dollies and Chameleon are even more upfront, but you can get quite a bit at Miss Kitty's. The problem is that the room at MKs is not terribly private, so there are some limits. Plus, the girls have a wide variety of attitudes and rules -- some are more permissive than others. At Dollies you are at least behind a bead curtain, and you'll find more girls who will do more. And of course at Chameleon you go to a room with a real door and a lock, and all the girls will go to the limit.

the only reason I didn't just say that is because it was a comment by me a few weeks ago that he might have been referencing. I wrote "My girl at MK tells me that they are really cracking down on extras there. She says it has really hurt her income."

My next stop was at Chameleon at about 4:30. My last couple of trips has been disappointing. But, I am the consummate optimist. There where about six girls, most are mid-level SW in looks. However, during my last visit -- coincidentally also appx 4:30 PM last Saturday afternoon -- a newbie dancer (most likely the heavy-set blond referenced in your post below) took me to the room, so I assume it's open to all comers.

I love the Chameleon Club. Yeah, sometimes it can be hit or miss with the providers there. And sometimes you can get a high pressure girl focusing on you. But with some practice you can deflect the hawks and find a diamond. I think the talent has been getting better there over the past year, and I rarely find anyone there who is NOT doable.

Well Roscoe, the management of Chameleon is probably not in a position to make these kinds of decisions. We'll see what happens when the competition opens. Drink prices and room charges will have to be re-evaluated, if C-Mowes keeps their old business model.

Not to mention, there aren't very many incall places that will post pictures of their girls. Massage parlors certainly don't. Even escort agencies rarely have a real schedule that gets adhered to. I don't think Lynn's ever did, even when they had a Web site -- or did they? You are the Lynn's expert, heh. This isn't exactly a legal operation they are running...

Washington Park club owner appears on meth charges
Alleged conspiracy may involve others

A Washington Park club and business owner made an initial appearance in court Friday on federal conspiracy charges in connection with a methamphetamine ring that operated in Madison, St. Clair, Monroe and other counties.

Scott Thorburg, 36, of 9685 Ridge Heights Road in Fairview Heights, was charged with one count of conspiring with others to distribute methamphetamine in Madison, Monroe, St. Clair and other counties in southern Illinois after a joint investigation by the St. Clair County Drug Tactical Unit and Drug Enforcement Agency, said Thomas Trice, head of the tactical unit. He was arrested Thursday and could not be reached for comment.

"The investigation is ongoing, and multiple suspects are expected to be indicted in the conspiracy," Trice said.

Thorburg, who owns the Chameleon Club and Davis Towing in Washington Park, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. after drug agents, who were conducting surveillance on another suspect, identified Thorburg.

The conspiracy began in the summer of 2003 and continued until May, moving more than 500 grams of methamphetamine, according to the indictment that was filed under seal May 24.

Thorburg appeared in federal court Friday before U.S. District Judge Donald Wilkerson, who released him on his own recognizance on condition that he not travel outside of the metro area without permission, avoid contact with other defendants, witnesses or victims in his case, refrain from alcohol or drug use and submit to drug testing.

The former owner of the Chameleon Club and Davis Towing, Tommie Davis, also faced legal troubles when he was indicted for faking disability claims. Davis was sentenced in May 2004 to six months in prison and ordered to pay restitution of $28,940 and a $10,000 fine.

Davis claimed he couldn't work for more than 10 years because of a back injury and collected disability checks beginning in July 1989.

Ten years later, Davis claimed he injured his back doing construction work.

Two years later, insurance records showed Davis claimed he was injured moving his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

On his mortgage application, Davis stated he earned $48,000 from Davis Towing and $70,000 a year from the Chameleon Club.

Davis battled then-mayor Sherman Sorrell after Sorrell claimed the Chameleon Club was a front for prostitution, asking patrons to pay $25 to rent a towel and enter a "couples only" room.

Sat. Night we had to stop for a LE roadblock in Washington Park down by Miss Kitty and Larry Flints Club. Bunkum Road and 111. This is also no good, LE told me this is going to happen alot more in this area. So look out.

Well, C-Mowes did open on the 20th. I drove by at about 8pm and there was a big banner up saying "Now Open" and the flashing neon star was turned on, so I pulled in to the lot. They weren't open yet, so I left my car in their lot and walked over to Chameleon. The owner was in front of the building with a big bar-b-que grill cooking something and looking desperate. He said hello, but didn't say anything about what he was cooking. I'm not sure what was up.

Inside Chameleon was a sad sight. They had the AC off for some reason, and the place was dead. There were 4-5 guys and I only saw three girls working. Xtacy sat down next to me and tried to pressure me into a dance, but I managed to hold her at bay until about 8:45 when I bailed and headed back over to C-Mowes. We'll have to see how Chameleon holds up. C-Mowes was open for business, and there were already about 20 guys in there, plus a girl on stage dancing. Let me describe the layout.

It is a long rectangular building and the inside is one big room, very much like Miss Kittys. There's a door facing the parking lot, but the actual entrance is in the middle of the long side facing the street -- there's no sign. Inside is all done in black and white, and it was easy to see but not bright. The lights were all blue (not UV/blacklights). There is a long bar along the wall across from the door, reaching almost end to end. There's a circular stage at each end of the building. In the middle is a pool table and a number of tables for seating. The men's room is very small, with just one urinal and one stall -- considering that at one point there were at least 50 guys inside, the bathroom could be a problem.

The private area is not good. It is a small room divided into two decently sized areas. On each side is an L-shaped wooden bench that sits in the corner. The private area looks out onto the main room, and there is no door, curtain, or drape to block the view. Guys standing at the end of the bar can see right in. The seats are very uncomfortable. The rooms would be fine for a little hand action, but very uncomfortable for any serious fun -- and it is impossible to be discreet. Cost for the room is $10 to the house, but the girls weren't sure if that was for two songs or what the deal was. Also they didn't have any set prices for action back there. It was the first night and no one seemed to know the rules (this included what was allowed on stage, how many dances to do, etc...). Eventually, Cindy went around and told the girls that they were to dance two songs on one stage, then move to the other stage and do two songs. No one collected for the jukebox, so i hope that the management takes care of that. Girls played their own songs.

When I walked in, Whip (from Chameleon) was on stage. She was happy to see me, and I went over to the stage. The stages are very high, and would be uncomfortable for the girls to get up and down for lap dances. That doesn't matter, though, because they aren't allowed to give lap dances! After Whip got done, she told me she was going by Kimberly now, since Whip was her Chameleon name. Fine by me. Had a great time talking to her (as usual), and even got a private from her. Turns out I was the first one to use the room -- it was funny to watch them scramble to figure out who takes the money and what to do with it.

The private was pretty lame, but was kind of funny as we experimented with how we should sit so that we couldn't be seen by the 5-6 people standing right outside. In the end it was an unsuccessful trip, although I know that the booth on the other side was successful for another couple who entered after we did. It certainly wasn't like Chameleon where you get 30 minutes on a couch for $100. Kimberly said that she was lowering her prices back to her C-Mowes rate, but I'm not sure what that was.

The place was jumping, mostly with friends of the owners, or friends of the dancers. There were LOTS of girls there who weren't working, so it was hard to judge the ratio of guys to dancers. Things will shake down eventually I'm sure. There were at least 50 guys there at the high point of about 11:00, and maybe 15 dancers. Passion, Sinful, and Bobbie from Chameleon were there, as were a bunch of girls I recognized from others clubs and many I didn't. They also had some SMOKING hot waitresses and bartenders. One stunning girl (who I'm told was the owner's son's girlfriend) was a perfect 10 in my book.

It definitely had more of a bar feel than a strip club or a jack shack. Drinks were cheap (beer $4, well shots $5, name brand and exotic drinks were $6-8 -- don't quote me on prices as even the bartenders didn't always know). It was a lot classier than the old place. I just hope that they get things settled where a girl can make some money. I don't think I saw anyone do a private after we got done in there, although to be fair we were sitting at the other end of the bar and it wasn't a typical crowd. The girls can't make a lot of tips for dancing either, since they can't give laps at the stage. We'll have to see how it shapes up, but it is currently nothing like the old C-Mowes.

I'm not sure it was worth the trip from Kansas City just for this, although it is cool that I was the one to inaugurate the new private area. Maybe they'll put up a plaque ("KC Questor Memorial Play area").

Went back to C-Mowes on Saturday afternoon about 3pm. It was empty -- three customers and four girls. I sat with one girl who was very popular when she worked at Chameleon. She was there on Friday night too, and we talked for a long time about what she thought. In the end she pretty much had decided to go back to Chameleon (which is why I'm not saying her name). I chatted up the other girls there and they all were thinking that they might bail on C-Mowes and come back when things settle down. Most strippers don't really have a big savings account to fall back on until they start making money again. But until guys start to realize that the place is open for business, it will continue to be empty. And if the girls can't give good privates or good stage dances, they won't come back.

There was no one at the door taking a cover charge, so I'm not sure if there is one during the day. On Friday night they said "No cover charge tonight" when I came in, but later when I went out to my car to make a phone call they tried to charge me $2 -- but didn't when they recognized me. people were also coming in the side door that open onto the parking lot. They will need to put up a sign or something. I suppose they can't lock it because of fire codes, but they don't want people coming in and out that door -- and neither do we. Anyone at that door can see right into the private area.

And speaking of the private area, I didn't mention in my previous post that there is a camera in the private area. Or at least there is one of those camera mount domes. I don't know if it is recording, or if it is on, or even if there is really a camera in the housing. But I don't like it.

edit: I also stopped in to Chameleon. It was doing just fine in there (5-6 guys, 7 girls). Crystal has moved to day shift; there was also Desiree, Heather, Xtacy, Candy Stixx, and I am blanking on the other girls.

The owners have to know what brings us in time and time again, but for some reason they build a small back room that is open for view like that. I just dont get it. I know its easy to say, but if it was me I would have build a large private back room that can be set up for what we need.

Lets face facts, if the backroom is not in service like it was before it burnt, you can count the days before the "For Sale" sign goes up. Also, if you look around they have cameras everywhere. KC is right there is one in the back room as well. This is also crazy in my book, unless you are going to try to "go straight." If that is your plan I will see you at the auction (wont be long).

Let me also say, if the Chameleon Club did not have a somewhat ample back room for us they would have had to give up dances and sell BBQ long ago. Who would really go to that dive if there was no back room service?

Now I am glad that I didn't make a trip over just for the opening. It does sound like someone was dreaming or perhaps remembering the "old days" of a more legit club. Just the way KC describes the layout its obvious the person doesn't understand the importance of having a good private dance area. That's just the way it is now days in all the clubs. Heck even if they wanted to go straight they still need to have a comfortable area for lap dances!

I've always liked the layout of PT's Brooklyn for private dances. You go upstairs, its usually quieter, they've got nice comfortable booths that give you some privacy. Once in the booth, especially if they've got the lights turned down, its pretty dark until the dancer lights up a small candle. Its a very intimate atmosphere; although I've never had anything happen but some very hot lap dances. The people who put that place together understood the importance of setting "the stage" so to speak for the privates. Wooden benches! Cameras! Open to the main floor! That's just crazy and probably from somebody who doesn't understand the modern day club dynamics.

When I read KC's first post about the club my thought was "guess the Chameleon Club owner doesn't have to worry quite so much!" The girls won't stay at C-Mowes if they can't make the same money they were making at the Chameleon. If the chameleon owner would just actually fix the place up a bit in back and figure out some decent screening around the couches it would be much better. And of course..buy some new fucking couches! Or at least pick up a couple decent used ones at a sale or something. Heck for the cost of one private in the back I could have got him 2 nice couches at an auction just this weekend!

If your flat happens near the Washington Park strip clubs like Dollie's and Hollywood, the WP police station is on Forest Blvd., 2 blocks east of Kingshighway/Route 111. I guess the cops are open 24 hours there?

Yeah E. St. Louis area is a really bad place to get a flat or have any sort of car problems. I always try to check my car before heading into the area. A flat can happen just about anywhere but East St. Louis may be more problem causing because of the bad street conditions, pot-holes, broken bottles, and trash on the streets.

Been lucky so far myself (knock on wood) but a dancer I know fairly well had a blow out on Rt3 a year or so ago. She had been having a very good night till then! She dialed 911 on her cell and explained that she was broken down on Rt3 all by herself and was very scared. Surprisingly there was soon an ISP officer on scene, not surprisingly he kinda gave her a hassle. Guess it was pretty obvious to the officer that she was a dancer. He asked if she had been drinking, had any illegal substances in her car, etc..etc. Even asked for consent to search her car and if she refused they'd have to wait for a search dog. Several years back in Brooklyn at a club that has since burned down. I had a dancer tell me a similar story about professors who come by the club for her to examine artifacts. I think it was Asian hand carved art from some centry long long ago. But since that did not pay very well she was in some type of loan officer, banker type job making hundreds of thousand of dollars.Again she just danced for something to do in the evenings, plus it was a great way to stay in shape. I've stayed in Collinsville before and hit the clubs. That way I could take the Collinsville Rd over to Kingshighway (rt.111) and down to WP or take it into E.St. Louis to hit the stroll and go up Rt.3 to Brooklyn. There are several decent hotels in Collinsville but the Best Western had a couple armed robberies so I'd avoid it.

I've also stayed in Fairview Heights before, its just a quick drive on the I-64 to WP.

The other towns may have decent places to stay too but those are the two places I'm familiar with.

If you're REALLY adventurous I suppose you could get a room for a full night in one of the hourly motels in Fairmont. There is also a motel in WP just east of Kingshighway on Bunkum Rd, don't know anything about it.

I like Fairview Heights. Lots of stores and restaurants in the area for the times when you aren't at the clubs -- including a decent mall.

Caseyville also has a few "business express" style hotels, like Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express type (I don't remember the exact chains, but they are clean and cheap). I've known lots of dancers who stay at the Motel 6 there. It is a couple of miles closer to WP on I-64. I've even taken street girls from ESL to Caseyville -- it isn't too far at all.

There's a cover. The place is in two sections. To the right as you enter there are a couple of theaters showing adult films. Cover just for the theaters is $10. To the left is the actual lounge. I believe the cover is $30ish for singles, not sure for couples. The following information is from a Yahoo group run by patrons (Colony_4_Fun_Encounters):

It is a swinger's place. That is a lifestyle that is not very accepting of single guys, so don't go there expecting to hook up with some girl unless you are bringing a girl with you. If you are interested in going, you might want to join the Yahoo group and find out when the event nights are. It sucks to go there and pay the cover and find out you are the only people there.

It is always a crap shoot depending on the girl. If you are simply looking for hot private dances then I agree that Hollywood may be a better shot. But Miss Kitty's has much better stage dances -- you won't get a full song in your lap with mutual touching for $2-3 at Hollywood!

Treat the stage dances as a chance to find out which girls will go further in the back room. Day shift is WAY better for extras. You go there a few times and you learn quickly which girls do and which don't.

If you want a guarantee of action in the private dance area, you are better off at Dollies or Chameleon.

I never wear jeans to a strip club -- especially one where I am planning on getting extras. It is not comfortable to have a girl rubbing on that rough denim, and many girls have told me that they don't like rubbing on jeans. I've dated enough strippers to know that after a long shift their thighs can be rubbed raw. Jeans have all that thick material in the crotch, and the girl can grab that bunch of denim in front and rub it thinking it is your johnson. If the girl decides to go into your pants then jeans are a pain, and unless they are button-fly, the zipper is dangerous.

Shorts are OK at some clubs, but not allowed at others. I wear shorts to Chameleon -- partly so the girl can run her hand up the leg, and partly because they are easier to take off in the back room (or the car, since I wear them for car dates as well). My mongering shorts are "cargo" type with a bunch of extra pockets, which is handy but not fun for a lap dance. I've worn them to Dollie's, but wouldn't to MK or Hollywood. That's just personal. I'm not really a shorts guy and generally don't think shorts are appropriate for public wear. You'll find lots of guys wearing shorts, though. Just make sure they are soft and comfortable.

At a regular strip club where I am looking for lap dances, I wear khakis or chinos. They are soft enough to be pleasant to rub on, and casual enough to not look like I am trying to dress up, and the zipper is not this torture device with teeth like a tyrannosaur.

If you REALLY don't mind looking like a perv, you could wear sweat pants. It makes a statement: "I am gonna get a hard on and I want you to rub it." That's fine for Chameleon or for picking up girls on Collinsville Road (in the winter), but not for a nicer place.

Nice soft khakis are perfect, they are cool, they aren't rough and easier access. Especially if you go to MK's, Hustler or Hollywood. Wearing a nice pair of pants, and a decent shirt (one meant to not be tucked in) actually can make a very favorable impression. Getting extras from strippers has two parts dollars and attraction. If you go in looking like a slob (not implying anything) its a lot harder. Make yourself stand out a little.

Yeah if you're going for the pervo look wear sweat pants or jogging pants; or better yet wear basketball shorts! That style of dress does make a statement like KC says. I'm not sure if the nicer places would let you in or not. It might be worth a try though. I've worn nice khaki shorts a couple of times but I agree with KC that it just doesn't feel appropriate to wear shorts when I go out. When I start wearing the basketball shorts to the Hollywood I'll know that I've probably reached true pervedom.

Haven't seen that particular style in the stores lately though. Simple rule of thumb: As looks go down, availability of extras goes up
Corollary 1: Day shift is more relaxed, since most clubs don't hire a lot of extra staff/security during the day
Corollary 2: Predominantly black clubs do not always follow this practice, and if you like black girls you can have lots of fun with some really nice lookers.

Both of you are correct. Bob did build that club but then sold it to Deja Vu as part of a court settlement some years back before doing some time, for money laundering if I remember correctly. Supposedly he doesn't actually own either Hollywood or Crystal Palace but they are in either his son's or wife's name, part of the same court ruling was that he could not own adult businesses.

They have reopened the place that I think used to be Miss Kittys 2. It is now called City Nights. It is a decent low key place to hang out. Heven't been to the back room yet. It is populated with dancers from Miss Kittys who I think aren't too happy to be there. It may be good. May be not. I've not heard that rumor about Dollies. Somebody did post a very similar rumor on strip club list about the Chameleon Club. There was also a rumor posted here about the old C-Mowes a few years ago. Not too many of the people who frequent either club could probably afford to pay much out in blackmail money. On the other hand if those tapes would turn up in a raid or some other form of investigation they could be very damning for the club. Plus a blackmailer risks the victims going to the police about the matter. Who do you think the police are more likely to go after, the guy having a little fun or a club profiting from the fun and extorting money. Also blackmail especially if it involves the use of the mail or interstate telephone lines can quickly become a federal case.

There is a story that years ago, before the federal crackdown in WP that the backroom at the Chameleon Club could be videotaped. In my humble opinion, I would avoid The Pink Slip. Although I have NEVER been there - it just looks too far "down the road" from the safer clubs. Mind you, this is just MY opinion. I have been to both Bottoms Up and Soft Touch. I feel "safer" in Bottoms Up, but both clubs greeted me with open arms (and legs). Skin color is not an issue as long as you have "the green"......... As with ALL clubs, YMMV, but you can actually get MORE "miles per gallon" at these clubs.
