Back in Cali, I was a twice a week regular at the Aroma Spa in Redwood city. I paid them $35 for the Half Hour, and.20-.30 for the happy ending, so I was out the door for under.60 on average. The topic occasionally comes up as to the “best” AMP, favorite providers, and so forth. As indicated in an earlier post, I’ve found the foot massage places to be a better value. I like to think that even if it was the same girl, they made her take some time off and get her shit taken care of. Not brave, stupid. And a little trashed ;) No, no DATY. I've only done that with one AMP girl ever and it was not enjoyable for me. As much as I enjoy that with a regular chick, the concept of it is pretty gross to me with any working girl. Be nice about it, just give 'em the "Gee shucks, .4 is all my momma allows me to spend" shrug and smile and sit up. Usually these girls aren't making anything on the massage, so .4 is better than nothing.
Some guys on here talk about how they're able to barter these girls down WAY lower than I think I ever could, but personally, I think that while it may save you a little bit of cash, in the long run it may cost you some of the joy of your experience. She may be willing to do it at a way lower price, but she's not going to be happy about it. She's going to be mechanical and want you out fast. Always be prepared to walk away. It doesn't have to get nasty; just politely say that you can't afford her offer. Seldom do you get out the door.
Similarly, battering down doesn't need to be all negative vibes. As with walking out, holding your ground (within reason, of course) usually gets a reasonable price and a service that's still delivered decently because you were respectful throughout the process.

Well, I did an earlier report on Spa of Green Valley shortly after they opened. I'm attracted to this place because they usually have at least one non-Asian girl and I get kind of burned out on the Asian chicks sometimes. However, from my one experience and another post or two I remember reading on the place, it has kind of a poor attitude. A little pushy and asking for some outrageous tips. It doesn't help that this lady is more nervous in engaging in illicit activities than other AMP women, so when she registered that I only had $35, she literally gasped. I said to her, "If that's not enough, I'll leave." Pissed off and mumbling, she grabs Jr. and starts going at it. Of course she's pissed off as fuck as if she were facing a catastrophic occurrence, and she says, "Come on baby" after 90 seconds. I finish anyway less than a minute after that. She at least cleans me up, and leaves the room.
I have been there before. She has been totally friendly, offering me water, etc. Of course not this time, but I don't care. I'm more pissed that I got a 30 minute massage and a fast HJ for my full hour + tip. I don't have the $105 to waste on that kind of experience. I get dressed and head for the door. As I'm a few feet from the door, I see her back down the hall by the room. She looks at me like a fat Guido sports betting tout, and I open the door myself and leave.
My whole point is that AMPs seem to be on the defensive. Too many customers must be prepared to haggle. What I don't understand though, is why owners and girls care that much.
I just read a report about the GV Spa on GV and Olympic (just N of Sunset). I tried to do a little investigating into this whole AMP world. I got a few questions off, and made my masseuse nervous. I gathered they do not get to keep all of their tips. My previous impression was that they would get 10% of the house fee and 100% of the cash tips. Apparently I was off. These girls probably get no portion of the house fee and half of the tips.
That puts things into perspective. If you get up with out getting an "extra service," the masseuse gets absolutely nothing. I still encourage us patrons to negotiate and maintain a reasonable price range. It just seemed odd to me that when the economy was better, a masseuse would only ask for $50 for the HJ, you'd counter with $40, and they'd happily go at it. Now of all times they start with $100 and seem to be really surprised that you think $60 is too high.
This leads to my final conclusion. There is a saturation of AMPs in the AMP market. Since there is one walking distance from every point in town, there are simply too many for the market. Before there was an AMP on South Eastern near Anthem (I cannot believe there are multiple AMPs between Eastern and Sunridge Heights and Eastern and Grand Hills!) I used to frequent that area when I had business there a couple years ago, and I knew of 1 AMP on Eastern south of St. Rose.
There are so many AMPs now in this town!

I get to Las Vegas every six months or so, and haven’t even considered the brothels for a decade. In my opinion, there’s no reason to leave town for this kind of entertainment--the sex-for-sale business is huge out here.
Judging by your previous posts, you are a regular in your local area, but a newbie to the Vegas scene. Going to the world famous Chicken Ranch probably sounds pretty cool, and maybe everyone should do it once. But, you’ll have to drive to the boonies to get there. When you arrive, be prepared to negotiate—the girls will start out with an outrageously priced menu, and you’ll have to work them back down to reality. Don’t like the selection? It’s a long drive back to town…
If you like the idea of shopping the girls and doing a deal on the spot, browse the Casino Girls forum before your trip so you know where and when to look. If you’ve got spare cash and want a sure thing, check TER for independents with good reviews.
BTW, if your area has a reliable, reasonably-priced AMP scene, you will find Las Vegas disappointing. There are plenty of AMP’s, but mileage and quality are relatively low.

My initial thougt would be to agree with you, supply of AMP's should lower the cost. It does, to one extent, Las Vegas up-front fees are cheaper than my area around Chicago (typically $60 for 30 minutes). However, more AMP's mean fewer customers to go around. Additionally, the economy has reduced the number of mongers who have the money to spend. I forward the possiblility that the girl now has an increased need to negotiate up the price.
While typing this I thought of something. A BJ from a SW was about $20 over fifteen years ago. When you think about it, that is a pretty good bargin when you consider the increased cost of living.

Now, I don't know about you, but someone pissed off with my most valuable posession. In THEIR posession isn't where to try and cut rock bottom discounts at. Plus, if I'm already in for a few bucks, I'd rather pay a few more and get a good, non-mechanical, enthusiastic job done. I can stay at home and do that myself.
Plus, I don't know about you, but negotiating like I'm buying a Persian rug really takes all the fun out of it. I don't want to THINK about the money, it just makes me go limp like PacMan hitting a ghost. Sound effect included.

Been there and done that years ago. Price too high usually and for the 1 hr or so drive and gas, not worth it IMHO. I did get a sweetie from Dallas there and she let me slide for $ cause I guess she liked me. Stayed 3+ hours and MSOG but this happens rarely.

It happens.... I've gotten FS $140-10 total (including house fee) out the door. It's all about the girl, the place, your skill, etc.
Most cases, I pay my house fee and during the flip, If I want FS, I show them what I have and that's all I will pay. Usually $.10-$.20. Showing the money during negotiation tips the tides in your favor vs just negotiation without. It's like showing a fat kid cake.
It doesn't hurt to be nice to them during the massage as well. Make comments, etc. I once commented on how nice one lady's feet and toes were. They actually were quite nice...I wasn't bsing. She put them up so I can get a closer look, just really liked the comment. I paid $.20 that night....total. She even asked me out.

Went out last night in search of a massage and hit up Spa of Green Valley. Walked inside and instantly got hit with a bad vibe. I've been there a few times before, so I've seen a few of the girls that work there. The girl who came to the desk was unfamiliar, and call me paranoid, but she didn't seem right.

This is my $.02 if your a regular and get to know the AMP you get a discounted entry fee and when I'm alone with the girl their is no hagling about the price. What I mean by this is that the girls who work there come to work and try to make a couple of hundred dollars a day. Most of the other MPs that we go to have undocumented Chinese women working there who have no other option for a job. Most of the time they will spend 14-24 hours a day at the MP... some living there. When you have a 24 hour shift you can see 5 customers and not try to get Hollywood prices from each customer like you would if you only work 6-8 hours a day and see 1 or 2 customers.

Had some time to kill and was in the area with no car, so I swung into QV this afternoon. Linda was working the counter. This is more common than you might think and I'm not sure how "scared" anyone should be. Maybe it is because it is an MP girl. If this was a chick that you just picked up in a club I don't think you would say the same thing. And it is probably more likely that a club girl is going to have some type of STD from the stats that we read. Considering how many girls in their 20s have herpes, HPV, etc.

But I'm going to try to cram into it ten years of questions, experiences, frustrations, and thoughts. Sorry in advance.
First, some random thoughts:
As others have said, I work too hard for my money to spend bucks on an unsatisfactory experience. Yet, from what I've read here, most MP experiences are not all that fulfilling.
I like a good - make that great - massage. I also enjoy, on occasion, a HE. But I consider the two mutually exclusive. Both from my experiences and from what I've read here getting either/both is very hit and miss.
Is it my imagination or are there a LOT more massage parlors now than there were five or ten years ago? These places, seemingly on every corner in town, can't all be relying on tourist business to survive. How do so many, given that they don't provide excellent service, stay in business? There certainly seems to be no great reviews on any of these numerous joints on this board.
My reviews:
During my first twenty years in Vegas I never gave massage parlors a passing thought. That changed when, ten years ago, I changed jobs.
My first MP/HE experiences were simply great. I can't remember the name of the place but I'm sure some of you will know it. NE corner of Flamingo/Jones. It was closed down/went out of business but has since re-opened under a different name.
My first, second, and third time there was with "June". (Anyone ever meet an Asian truly named June? ) "June" gave the best massages I've ever had. And her massage skills made it nearly impossible to resist a most happy HE.
But, on my third visit I simply was not "up" for a HE. She was horribly offended and, even though I offered her a $20 tip for the massage, she was mad! I never went back.
Since then, I've searched for my "June" at a number of places. But I've never come close to finding either a great massage or a very enjoyable HE anywhere.
I've found, for utter relaxation, places which advertise themselves as providing "foot massages" are the best. Two I've been to (but only once) which I found worthy of recommendation are "Michelle" at "Thousand Feet Reflexology" at 3466 S. Decatur and #8 Herbal Foot Massage at 1643 W. Warm Springs. I cannot remember the name at #8 but she represented herself as an owner, was well-dressed, and gave a good massage. Only downside was her voice. She talked non-stop in a squeaky, hard to understand or listen to, voice.
Side note: why are virtually all MP's Asian? While I don't have anything, specifically, against Asians I don't like the fact that they either don't speak English or "play" that they don't. I want to be able to communicate with my massage "therapist"!
Since moving from the Strip area to the Green Valley area two years ago I've tried or attempted to try several places on E. Sunset. None were good experiences and none are worthy of further mention.
Summary:
I note the posts here are about the same as they were years ago. Helpful, perhaps, in knowing what places to avoid, but no suggestions on a GREAT place. Are there none?
On rare occasion I read a post from someone who seems to have found one of the GREAT places which I seek. But the poster always includes something like "senior members PM me for details". So I guess, on rare occasion they are to be found.
I don't visit MPs as often anymore. I really hate spending good money, getting a bad massage, and not smiling at the end. And the drive home afterward isn't pleasant either.

I never rent a car, way too much to look at walking the sidewalks, I'd end up wrecking the first day. That being said I either take the monorail or cab. At least one of the local AMPs was advertising free pickup and return a few weeks back. I think they're just off Paradise a couple of blocks east of the convention center. You're expected to tip, of course, so a short cab ride might end up costing less money.
There are AMPs on Paradise north of Sahara and one in the area of Flamingo and Paradise (just north of Terribles). There are also AMPs near Orleans (west of Strip on Tropicana).
Suggest you check out CL, Services, Therapeutic instead of Adult. You'll probably find more than you want.
I can't say I recommend any. With a couple of exceptions, my experiences with AMPs in the entire area, including Henderson, have been mediocre. That is to say, I always got a happy ending, sometimes a better finish, but they're always pricey.

As I travel frequently, I can also share my thoughts and maybe give you some good information. I have had some of the best and worst experiences in Las Vegas, and here is why.
For those of you that don't know, Las Vegas highly regulates the massage business. Why? They make s shit load of money off these businesses. First, licensing and fines. If a girl at a massage place is cited for prostitution or elicit activity the fine is $5,000. This is not at conviction, but at citation; if the girls wants to keep her license she must pay.
So, because of this, I think you have a few different types of establishments. First, you have those that really try to play by the rules, hire only licensed girls, keep a clean establishment and try to make sure the girls don't give anything more than a HE, if that. However, these girls usually give the best massages (at least the more experienced ones).
Then there is the other type. You have people opening places with no license or they have a business license and rotate girls after those girls get caught. The will do more including oral and F/S. However, these places are not around long as they get shut down quickly.
Since you are in the Green Valley area, my favorite place for a good massage is on Warm Springs west of Eastern (something like Spring Spa). There is an older lady there, Nancy who gives a great back walk and massage. This place is off the strip and relies on locals, but probably gets some tourists. There are occasionally younger girls, but I have only seen one.
As with any type of business, if you really enjoy a good massage, you need to find a therapist who is great and stick with her. And, the same can be said for the more enjoyable activities. There are a couple places in Phoenix and San Francisco I visit regularly for more than just a massage and I try to ask for the same girl, at least until I get tired of her.

Weben - don't mean to contradict you - but where did these facts come from? I know two girls that were nabbed for prostitution in Vegas in the last year at MPs and both are still awaiting trial. Neither one of them has paid any fine and are still working. Both of them admitted everything to the cops when they busted them and started screaming in their faces - so they are looking for technicalities to get out of the charges. Of course, maybe they aren't supposed to be working - but they both have lawyers and don't seem to be concerned about getting busted again.
I notice Asian Pearl has gotten some different management or maybe a new owner. I saw they got new girls including some younger, busty, and better looking ones.
Like I have posted before and many of you have echoed, finding a good massage at these places is tough. I agree that inconsistency is the biggest issue, but in this business what do you expect? We feel like we're getting ripped off when we pay a $70 house fee, and we get 10 minutes of weak massage before a flip where we're then insulted by being asked to tip $60 for a HJ. Those of us who go to AMPs for more than just getting jacked off (although I admit that's half the reason) are getting ripped off.

2) Went to Jasmine Spa just down Flamingo. Threw out a fake name to ask if a girl was working... said no one by that name worked here... and I asked if I could see who was working to see if I had the name wrong. Three old unattractive ladies. Moved on.
3) Went to the foot massage place at Spring Mountain and jones. Ugh. It wasn't Jessie and I wasn't interested in parting with my money. Moved on.

Your wonderful review of a wasted night is rather exactly what I was trying to say/ask in my previous post (#1400). For me, searching for a "good" AMP is getting both costly and tiresome. For the most part either I -- or my bankroll -- has given up finding one. And, no offense to anyone, but years of reading reviews on both this and many other boards hasn't been of much help.

Smokey, I understand your possible frustration. I've lived in Vegas.- and dealt with tourists.- for thirty years. I understand, and grow tired of, 'the same old questions'. But not everyone is educated. Most ask their "dumb ass" questions.- whether they be tourists or otherwise.- because they are curious, interested and/or simply don't know.

Over many years I have spent more (hundreds of) hours than I care to retell checking out Vegas message boards, newsgroups, and websites. I check ads on Craigslist and Backpage. I check reviews on 411, TER, here, et al. And after spending (thousand of) hours doing so I'm still left with more questions than answers.

After reading straw report and also my experiences I know for a fact that here in las Vegas we have the worst AMP scene of all the USA thanks to turist. It just funny when you go to AMP and an old overweight Asian lady wanna charge 100 for a HJ and 150 for a BJ.

I was in herbal 8 foot massage saturday night after 11 pm. The place was dead. They don't offer the 39 dollar special after 11 anymore. Had the 1hour massage with Lucy, followed by the usual HE for .4. It was okay, but has gone downhill.
So I hit this place for the second time last weekend around 1AM. I posted a few weeks ago about how I'd been searching for a Latina girl, which they regularly advertise. So I called 15 minutes before I got there inquiring about the Latina, was told that yes, they had a Latina girl working there. Wanted $$ for FS. As I posted before, this place is out of line on their tips. I probably could've haggled for better, but settled it at $.80. Just saying, there is a little more variety in the girls working here and they do give good service from my experience, but it's going to cost you. And I do agree with the recent posts that it's hilarious how the rates at these places are independent of the girl. A nasty 50 year old hag wants the same fee for services as the cute 20 year old. So a friend went to R & R massage on S. Highland, and got taken for $$$$. He went there through a recommendation from a friend of a friend. He went in and to go behind the door to see the girls they ask for .50 once inside they told him its $$$$ for one girl or $$$$$$$$$ for two girls. In Henderson you will also find mostly 35 and up providers with a few in their LATE 20s who might tell everyone that they are 26.
Since all the AMPS are Chinese you have to realize that it takes a few years of working to save up enough money to get smuggled into the USA. So they are going to be in their late 20s or older when they come here. Korean girls (visit CA if you aren't aware) can come here without a visa - so there are a lot more young ones.

Hey guys, went to Vegas a few weeks ago and hit up two AMPs. Just like previous posts said, the Vegas AMP scene sucks compared to other places I've been to. It may be due to the tourists, but I have to believe there is a place where locals go that is OK.
AMP 1
This one was located near Sahara on Paradise. I think I took a left at the McDonalds and it was a pink building with a sign. Looked promising. Went in, it was $70 for an hour. The lady was probably mid-30's. Nothing sexy about her, however since I was already in for $70, I decided to see where it would go. After a decent rub, we started haggling for the tug. I started at $50 and she pushed for $80, we finally settled on $70. Nothing to write home about, wouldn't go back.
AMP 2
This one was in China town on Spring Mountain. The place was on the right if your coming down from the Strip. There is a large fish tank in the lobby. It was in a rather empty strip mall and had pictures of Asian lady's in the windows. The lady was a little younger and better looking but this place was filled with drama. She kept leaving the room to talk to someone. The ending was ok I guess. I took a shower and they kept rushing me to hurry up. For what they charged (close to $180), I expected better service.
I am very specific about the location because I don't want any other tourist like me wasting his money on these place, especially the second place.
One day hopefully I'll find a decent place.
Jessie's service is okay for me. I go there because it's close to work (this is not the place I mentioned in my previous post)... her attendance at the shop has been spotty of late, she went back to China for a few weeks and someone else is filling in when she's not there.
But if you are into Jessie, and want to know if she is working, just do a drive by.... I think she drives a white Lexus SUV that is ususally parked out front.

Thanks for the awesome report, I also wouldn't mind some LMP action. Unfortunately I visited Spa of GV twice last week during day shift and both times there was not only no Latinas, but only one girl there and she must have been in her 40s or 50s. Well I had a nice dream about LV.
I headed to a place I had been to before. I got no extras there and thought I would try again. It is on SM, in the same strip mall place where passions is. This place advertises body scrub for $30 for half hour. Still didn't get any extras, but it was a nice scrub from sophie. I proceeded to the Sky foot place off Jones. Door was locked. She wasn't there and a guy told me I had just missed her. (darn I had great service there several times) So I drove down about 6 doors to the right to try a new place (to me). Well I don't know if this has been reviewed or not. But any how I will tell you about a dream I had.

I finally made it to Jade Spa at about noon since it had some good reports. An older Chinese lady came to the window, and said that it was $65 for an hour massage, and wanted the money up front. I didn't find her attractive at all, and asked if there was anyone else working. Another girl came to the window that was kinda scarey to look at. She must have just woken up. I picked up my money that was still on the counter and said I'll come back some other time. I ended up going to Sun Valley Spa in Henderson, since I was headed there anyway. Got a good massage and HE for $60+50. There are so many massage places, but the quality is not very good.

Here's a questions for the community. As a senior member I understand that this depends on the AMP. If you're a regular at a particular AMP and you usually see the same woman every time, there might be no doubt whether you get the half or full hour. The massage is just as important to me as the HE, so I often spring for the hour.
What do you do if you don't expect the massage to be good? If you know it'll be 5 minutes of light touching then a flip, do you pay for the half hour and suck it up? If you pay for the hour and instead get 10 minutes of light touching, is it worth it to get the hour?

Because the talent changes so frequently, you rarely become well acquainted with the provider. I have had some success with AMP's that keep their talent for longer periods. The advantage is not having to negotiate,
I did use one place in Columbia, Missouri that had a girl for over two years. She did lower the rate for F/S after the first couple of visits.
Overall, I'd give this experience a 4/5. I saw Nina who is about 5'4", above average body with great full C cups.
$40 for the half hour house fee
10-12 minutes of OK (unimpressive) AMP style massage

I agree that it reads too positive with little description of the session or services. On the other hand, there is no contact information and would be little help to the provider.
Damon, my advice is that a useful review provides:
1. Name and contact info for the provider
2. Her general location or part of town, if incall is offered
3. A good description of her appearance- for those of us that seek physical attributes
4. A good description of her massage skills and technique. For those of us that seek a good massage
5. Extras and their quality
6. Costs. Broken into base and tips for extras
In cases of well reviewed providers, a review can be shorter and just provide new insight if the rest is found by reading her other reviews deeper in the forum. For Rea specifically, none of this is readily available, so your review should provide a lot more detail.
