Walk toward the border. Signage is lacking, but you can figure out where to go. Ask somebody if you need to. Or just follow.

Walk through the border. Grab a cab as soon as you get across. It's a $2 ride to "Hong Kong" Gentleman's Club. No need to change money. Dollars are easier.

Get a room at Hotel Cascades (right next to Hong Kong). It's $45 a night. If you're on a day-trip skip this step and head straight into the club.

Consider buying a "Platinum" card from Hong Kong for $60 (good for 6 months or one year, can't remember). My Platinum card was very worth it, but if you're just here for one day it may not be worth it.

Tijuana is a microcosm. I have never had a bad experience there and it's easy to find girls at places like Adelitas or Hong Kong who speak English. It's like shooting ducks in a barrel. It will completely change the way you approach girls in Vegas after going to Tijuana. Title says it all. It could have been a good time with hookah and one $20 dance. Instead I left angry and eager to write this post at 3am. I'm tired though I'll do my best to include as much detail as I can as coherently as possible.

I went with a friend and neither of us went in with the intention of spending hundreds of dollars. We got a hookah. Soon girls started chatting us up. Since they charge $120 for 3 songs or $200 for a half hour, it does make more sense to do the half hour.

I chose the champagne which comes with the half hour, and we went to the back room. She then proceeds to tell me I need to tip her for the extras that she is overtly implying. She says $200, and I know well enough not to pay $200 for what I expect to be a BJ at best. I tell her $100, and she asks to meet in the middle at $150. I agree and go back to the ATM for more cash. *The ATM BTW is a scam in itself. The machine says there's a $5 fee (which I accept) , but there's also an additional $15 somehow tacked on to the fee, so on the receipt you'll see a terminal fee of $20!

I pay her upfront. This I know at this point is another mistake, and I'm sure all you seasoned members out there are face palming wondering how I could fall for this. I just let it happen. All along I'm vocalizing that I'm too smart for this, and I know she's hustling me, but her responses were affirming that she was honest and straight forward. She's just feeding me the BS, and I'm buying it.

It's been several years, but the last time I was there I took the wife to Jaguar. That seemed to be a VERY "couples friendly" establishment. From the research I did in the past, I'm thinking Crazy Horse (or is it Crazy Horse II?) and Olympic Gardens might be good choices. Although Cheetah's was featured in the movie Showgirls, I have a feeling it might be a bit too seedy to bring the wife. With that in mind, I think you made an excellent choice last time in Jaguar's. Jaguar's has recently re-opened as Cover Girls. I haven't visited since the re-opening, but I expect the vibe will be quite similar to the last time you were there. My recommendation would be to ask your wife if she wants to try Jaguars (Cover Girls) again. That way she knows what she's getting into. It'll be familiar but different.

If your wife wants to try something completely different, or if you try Cover Girls and you don't like the selection, I would recommend any of the following clubs:

The main factor I consider is that the girls have a higher expectation for earnings on those two big money nights. So they will be less likely to give discounted dances and spend extra time.

If you want to see the best spectacle, go on a Friday or Saturday night between 10pm and 2am. If you want it to be a little more chill, go on a different night. Thursday and Sunday are the next biggest nights. Then Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday are the slowest.

As for dance prices, both Sapphire and OG have $20 floor dances. VIP dances go up from there. I recommend starting with floor dances any only paying for VIP if she truly exceeds expectations during the floor dances.

Anyway, a dancer sat down, and though she wasn't my type she chatted up my wife a bunch. I figured if I didn't make a move after a minute or two she'd go, nope. She talked for a while and since my wife seemed pretty comfortable we ended up buying a lap dance in a room. Lap dance was advertised at $20, she doubled it because we were a couple and doubled again for a private room instead of at our open not-so-"private-booth". She initially said it would be double again becaude she always charges double to make up for the club fee of $7 / dance but I balked so she face a 2for1 deal. Total cost $80. I knew I was getting hustled hard but wasn't sure what to do since my wife seemed interested in a dance from her after talking so long. The dances were a but predictable and not too enjoyable for me, but she then flat out asked for a tip, which I found highly offputting. I did give her a few singles to avoid the awkwardness, but then had to tell her to give us some space when she followed us back to our table.

We watched a dance and then a gorgeous girl came on stage. I wasn't sure proper ettiquette during a dance but really wanted a dance from her, so I asked a staffer to ask her after the dance back stage to come by our table when she got a chance. She was cute and sweet and pretty new (3 months). I tipped $5 when she came over for the stage dance and as appreciation for her coming over. She asked $140 for 4 songs in VIP (advertised $100) where the other girl offered us the same for $200 each. I appreciated her not gouging too much. However, once back in the room, she collected the money and went to give it to the host. She returned saying because it was two people it would have to be $200. I paid and we had an incredibly enjoyable time. At the end we bought two more private dances (same as the first girl) but she only charged $40. Again, she was great. I would've tipped her more but was down to $10 cash and the atm was having issues and exorbitantly expensive. I felt bad tipping so little but she seemed surprised and appreciative that I tipped at all. She never asked for a tip which made me want to tip more. She never seemed rushed, took a few minutes to talk between VIP and the other dances, and made me wish the club was open longer LOL! Unlike the previous poster, I'm a strip club lover. I'd rather keep things safe and legal.

It sounds like you kept your wife happy at the club, and for that you get an A+ in my book.

Regarding costs.

It's always a negotiation. The girls can give almost any deal they want to give. They're trying to maximize their income like any salesperson. Since you weren't into the first girl, you had more negotiating power, and you probably could have gotten her to dance for a lot less. There's no shame in saying "no" or "ahh. I wish I could" at the club. The girls hear it all the time. If you would have pulled back when she raised the price she probably would have backed down or figured out a way to save the deal. If not, well. She wasn't that great anyway. And the bitchy ones never are.

Generally, my strategy is to make sure they know I am on a budget. My eyes pop out when they quote me a high price, and I smile and say I wish I could. If they're bitchy, they may move on, but that's a good filter. The bitchy ones need to move on anyway.

Girls ask for a tip because many guys will pay to avoid awkwardness, but it's not customary to tip after a lap dance. I never tip (unless the value provided has warranted it, and I genuinely feel like tipping). To avoid awkwardness I say."I've got to save some money for more dances later." That leaves it open-ended and she's not sure if you're talking about dances with her or with another girl. SDThere is sex in the chap room. Lots of it. You just have to make sure you and the girl know what you're looking for before you go there. Never be afraid to tell a girl exactly what ou want. An never, ever be afraid to tell HER no if you will not get what you want from her. You're the customer and you're always right.

As for rates they range, but typical is $250 half hour/$400 full hour. But uts not done there; you have to buy a drink (add $20) for you and usually her (add another $20). Sometime they make you buy two drinks. Plus, tip add another $20-$40.

Heard the old man who took over Cheetah's after the prior owner / son got busted by the FBI kicked the bucket. If you build it they will come.Sadly, I think it's much more likely that they'll try going the route of Rhino / CH3 / Sapphire rather than reclaiming the glory days of old. Cheetah's definitely needs a renovation, but being new / remodeled isn't what made Cheetah's great in the past.
