View Full Version : Mexican Bars
I thought it would be beneficial to create a section in Cicero about Mexican bars bc there really is so many of them in Cicero and Berwyn. Some of them have been talked about in the Chicago section. I will start this off with reviewing a couple of the popular ones. I will add that the dynamics of these bars have changed since Cicero passed a law where there are no liquor sales past 12 am starting in 2025. Berwyn still can serve liquor late. The Cicero bars are trying to transition to day time bar spots.
Elkhorn: this place has been open a long time and was the first place to start hiring Colombian girls. This place became so popular that when Colombians came to Chicago, their first stop would be Elkhorn. Talent has always been decent with a high turnover of Colombian girls. Girls usually don't stay very long but there are some. Bigger bar with a pool table and gambling machines. Almost all the clientele are Mexicans.
Errico's: same owner as Elkhorn. Some of the same girls that work here also work at Erricos. Erricos has a front bar with a gambling machine room. They also have a big back bar space with pool tables and stage for live music or DJs. This place has the most non-Latinos clientele because of its location. It borders Oak Park and Chicago just north of Roosevelt. Also lots of Colombian girls. I did not the talent has been lacking last couple of times I went. Girls were not very good looking.
La Plazuela: this place has always had the most diverse type of girls. Honduran, Dominican, Venezuelan, Colombian and Mexican have been the type of girls I have met there. It does have a rougher crowd than Erricos and Elkhorn. Girls are also a lot more aggressive here and try to get drinks from you.
Fiestas: located in cermak and is also part of the same family that owns Elkhorn and Erricos. Lots of Colombian and Venezuelan girls working there. It is smaller but has good quality girls working there.
I will add reviews for other bars in the future.

Thanks for the post. I don't drink so I never go to bars but Cicero isn't far from me so now I'll know where to go to hang out and have a club soda.
