A Chelmsford priest was one of eight men arrested in Nashua during a weekend prostitution sting.

[Name deleted], 31, the parochial vicar at [Name deleted] Parish in Chelmsford, faces a misdemeanor prostitution charge after Nashua police say he responded to a fake posting on Craigslist and was planning to pay a woman for sex.

[Name deleted] was immediately placed on a voluntarily leave of absence by the Boston Archdiocese, during which he will not be allowed to conduct ministry.

“The archdiocese is cooperating fully with law enforcement’s investigation,” said [Name deleted], a spokesman for the archdiocese.

Six New Hampshire men and one from New Jersey were also caught up in the sting. They were all released on bail and will be arraigned April 23. [Name deleted] will be arraigned separately on April 22.

Each faces fines and up to a year in prison if convicted.

Speaking as a former hotel manager, it actually makes complete sense. Thee motel likely has someone on duty until 6 who can clean up the room and get it re-rented the same day. After 6 there is likely only one staff person on duty, and they can't be away from the desk long enough to clean a room. Therefor renting the room after six, regardless of the length of time, means it's out of service for the night.

There are simply too many unknowns in a situation that is unstable. Getting her out of the car is the only thing we can do that has no unknown consequences and brings stability.

I trolled Lowell Sunday, Monday & Tuesday & today.

Yes, most of that 17% are Cambodians. Not sure now, but at one time Lowell that the largest Cambodian community anywhere in the USA. But thats not to say all asians in Lowell are Cambodians.

If they don't speak English natively, then you tell from that. (Although I don't the sound difference between Thai and Cambodian, you can distinguish this SEA sound from other Asian languages.)

I cruised Lowell last night. around the old stomping grounds between 10 and 11 PM, and saw nothing again. If anyone can tell me when is a good time to cruise Lowell in a PM, I would appreciate it, because the areas that I knew around Jays and the Housing shelter ,to teduskis, are dead as a door nail. I saw Towers and nothing there either.

I also cruised Lawrence and other than a guy getting beaten on from a club , which cause mass people wanting to know what happen, in the main section of Broadway by McDonalds, nothing is happening there either.

I got ripped off last night.

I spotted a girl who later told me her name was Veronica. She was hanging out in front of a house on Garnet St. In between Middlesex & Appleton. I kept going to scout out others. Gave a shout to the Raven line Sunday after the Pats loss.
Got a couple of names & numbers & was going to see Jennifer in Clinton.

While trolling I was headed onto Westford st when traffic stopped by the light at 7-11.

Skatar, the HSW is the one I saw. I saw her talking to the wheelchair guy as well. Didn't see the blonde. Sort of wish I did.

Went back in the evening saw Jennifer & Nikki 5, they were on Appleton at different
times.

Could’ve sworn I saw Nikki 4(going to call her Nikki 4) the former pregnant one that’s brunette & pretty, swung back around but she was gone, will try & get a picture if I see her again & hasn’t gone to Jersey.

Picked up Vanessa at Towers, I was a little hesitant at first due to the reports of rank smell.
