When applying for a mortgage, they bank will review all your statements and they will question large cash withdrawals or unusual transactions. VA mortgage was especially strict and looked at everything. My first mortgage was prior to 2005 and they weren't that strict back then. Seems after the 2008 crash and mortgage crisis, the banks tightened up on the rules. Best advice is to stay away from large purchases or large cash withdrawals while your in the process of buying a home.

After recent trip to Florida, was impressed for two reasons. Check it out. Dip into it a bit and search around as one would if they were on the prowl. Confident you'll be equally impressed.
By separating the two discussions, the strings of replies / comments regarding an initial posting is essentially streamlined because if initial posting is under "positive" category then users can follow threads easier. Hopefully this is helpful. If it's not then that's cool no worries. For those just itching to condemn these ideas and / or scheme up conspiracy theories, go nuts if you must. Trying to be helpful without any other malicious intent.

No matter what business it claims to be, at some point someone from the building will go in for any of a thousand reasons, from actual interest in the claimed business to posting a lost cat flyer to fundraising for kids school, etc you get the picture. And then once it looks like something is being hidden, in the building someone actually lives in, all kinds of thoughts run rampant and LE would almost certainly be notified. Maybe a tenant meeting about it, who knows.
Only possible option would be some type of business with a sign saying appt only, with door always locked. Still riskier than just saying what it is without being to obvious like no flashing open signs, pictures in window, etc.
