Overheard a couple of my friend's friends talking about a place in Waikiki called Alleycat or something like that. Apparently you can pay to watch girls shoot ping pong balls out of they vaginas LOL and other things. Anyone haven any info on this place? Made sure he got all the attention, and finally she said, NO come home!! We closed EN, then whoever was left went to Like Like for eat, then took those home, but some stayed with me bc had the room. Plus the other mgr. 3 girls in admin and our sales division (as one other story, kind of geekish, but was choke horny so that story later). Everyone went home later in taxis, that I covered since was my paina. Our boy, slept 12+ hrs. , stayed with me a couple days till she calmed down and got back from her work leg to LV. I talked to her first, took all the blame like a champ, and then told her off! He hard worker, loves her to death, and we made sure nothing would jeopardize his life with her. A few months ago a couple of guys and I went to Ballarinas around 2:00 am after having a few drinks, but nothing crazy. They don't serve alcohol, but it's BYOB up until midnight. The bouncer wanted $20 cover for each of us, but he then lowered to $10 each as soon as I complained. One of the guys just paid for it but I was still trying to negotiate. It's your typical Hawaiin SC where it's not fancy or huge. It looks like the upstairs of a home turned into a SC. Customer wise, it was pretty empty but it was a younger crowd that wasn't good at tipping. Girls wise, there were a few available at that time, they weren't aggressive by any means, and if anything they were pretty cool, and with the exception of 1-2 girls, nothing really stuck out to us. We bought Costco water bottles and it wasn't the cheapest, but that's what you'd expect. They were very willing to trade our bills into single dollar bills for free. One of my buddies went to the private room for a lapdance, and he was able to lower her asking price, and she became more willing for touching and dancing, but they had to keep an eye out for the security guy. I believe she was willing to exchange contact info so they could hang out outside, but something happened and I don't think they did it. I was told by one of the dancers that they sometimes get really busy when the other clubs close and everyone flocks there, so if you're looking for some peace, perhaps check them out earlier in the day. I was told that they tend to have a rotation between girls from the mainland and from other SCs in the island, so you may not know who you will find. I'd recommend and would certainly return.

After getting back from my 3 week training mission, I had every intention of going to ballerinas, Saigon passion III and the Hawaii by night and report my findings. I got a text PM from Botoman (who is the man) who told me about this little hole in the wall in Wahiawa. It was on my way so I decided to stop there first. Best decision ever. Against the front wall is a small stage with two poles. In front of that are a few 6 person tables and then 6 booths behind that (they are also the private dance booths). The bar is on the far wall. It is a typical hostess / strip bar, Dark inside and everything is old including the mama-sans. Scale of 1 to 10, I give the place a 3. Definitely a shithole but my kinda shithole.
The mama-sans: There are actually three and the owner (supposed owner). They push drinks and dances for the girls. They are not overbearing and eventually very friendly. The drinks for customers are about 5 bucks for a beer (any kind), $5 shots and for the dancers it is $20. One mama works the bar, one mama works the room and the last mama works the girls. At least that's the way it seemed to me.

Two quick reports:
1. two sources told me that HBN and alley cats are closing down at the end of Feb. Haven't talked directly to either of the owners so this is only speculation but I think the pressure from the City and HPD was mounting to clean up the area after the shooting. Could also just be a matter of things being really slow there after the shooting, Waikiki slow in general, and the military issuing a warning to avoid the area.
2. friend threw a party at Ballarinas, reserved a private room and brought a bottle (plus a fee). It was midweek, and only 3 girls there early- two curvy Latinas and one popolo. Party started off bad start because they were promised us free cover with the private room but when we got there some us us were charged by the bouncer downstairs and some were not, and I think the bouncer pocketed the money. Another thing was that the girls drank from our bottle, which is better than having to buy them $20 shots, but they also drank a LOT and poured out shots for themselves (no waitress). My reaction was it was pretty trashy and rude, but what to do, it was early and the girls were thirsty. The girls at the clubs that had lap dancing rooms were making money hand over fist (Fantasy Island and Wild Horse). In addition, the girls at the clubs that didn't do lap dancing were still worth going to because they were very liberal as to what you could do to them. Touching their tits was pretty commonplace and some girls would even let guys eat them out on stage, and they pretty much all got fully nude in a song and did what was essentially a masturbation show.
Two hundred would go pretty far back then, because they girls did so good with tips so pushing drinks wasn't as big a deal. I remember some of them would just lay on their side on stage and just want to talk because they needed a break from making all that money. Not kidding.
So, after the HPD says lap dancing is prostitution (and seriously, how the hell is that prostitution?) and the liquor commission decided to crack down, the guys that went to those clubs to rub their boners against some 20-something's ass cheeks or lick the clit of some blonde from Oregon at Femme Nu found that was a no-go.
People start getting online and start trading info about massage parlors and hookers. For the first time, you could actually trade info with other people as to who to see if you wanted to pay for it. Money shifts from the clubs to the escorts and massage parlors.

When he decided he was going to make closing the strip clubs his crusade he may not have succeed at the time, but the liquor commission started enforcing the laws they had on the books about customers touching the girls and the girls touching themselves. I remember prior to that, being a liquor inspector was supposed to be a pretty cushy job with the strip bar mamasans piling the gifts and free drinks on them. But the inspectors enforcing the laws they had on the books and Andy M. getting a stick up his ass to close down the clubs aren't a coincidence, I'm sure.

's radar, I'm sure, and he and other "concerned citizens" leaned on the police to start treating lap dancing like actual prostitution. Such a crock of BS.

It is agreed that the quality of strippers has declined, yet there are always new girls coming through town that want to give stripping a try. Need to keep going and looking for the "diamonds in the rough". 939 has been decent lately. I will keep going to Femme Nu until it closes. I think strip clubs are suffering the same fate as porn. It's just not that appealing to the younger crowd. I joke with the younger guys at work and they never mention scrip clubs in their weekend plans. I often travel for work and clubs without alcohol seem to do just fine if they have quality girls and management. In my experience, clubs without alcohol tend to have better play mileage. The clubs in Dallas comes to mind. They have several fully nude and alcohol clubs but a few others that don't have alcohol but offer private rooms. I think it all boils down to what you're looking for in the experience. I go there to try to play and drinking isn't my goal.

Lollipop was my favorite club between '78 and '85. It was topless only but had $3.00 table dances (no lap dances back then). They had free table dances when their theme song came on ("Lollipop"). Wednesday night was Amateur night, Monday night was wet t shirt contest. Sometimes they had wet lingerie contests. They had some hotties there. Some locals, some Asians, a few blacks now and then, but mostly white girls. College girls, military wives, women who came to Hawaii on vacation and decided to stay, etc. They were right at the entrance to Waikiki on Kalakaua between Saratoga and Beachwalk. There was a Denny's next door. Lollipop had a big marquee sign, like theatres, advertising the amateur nights etc ($100 first prize). I think they were open from the 60's until 1990. In this case, astray gone from the path direct led me to the neon sign of Rock-Za.
See, I was usually a Femme Nu guy. That had always been my go-to place. Dated a few girls who worked there. I had friends who worked there. Back when the place was pumping, I was a regular and everyone, from Yuni to the bartenders to the waiters, took care of me.
But to mix my metaphors and media, Don Draper would say nostalgia has a powerful pull. If anyone's been harping about and documenting the decline of the Nu, it was I. But I've been going back, hoping things would be different, but always walked away disappointed.
So, midway in this mortal life, I decided to change things up and go to Rock-Za. I'd been there a few times since I moved back a few years ago, and like Femme Nu, walked away feeling cold and unfulfilled.
I parked my car, having to valet it because the spacious parking the club used to have a short walk away was now just another building in the Kapiolani corridor. The first casualty of gentrification is, it seems, parking.
I went into the club, expecting to be let down. But hey, I was bored, I had reason to "celebrate" and I'd just gotten an invoice paid, so why not.
Paid my cover, rounded the corner and oh my god the place was actually busy.
Back in the '90's, I remember Rock-Za as having a regular rotation of three girls on the main stage and three or more on the rear stage during the week. But in the 2010's, I'd seen as few as one girl on the main stage and sometimes no girl on the rear stage. It was like I'd warped back to the '90's. There were three girls on the main stage and another three on the rear stage. They were all fairly hot — some smoking ones and some meh ones, but still, much better than the last time I'd been around.
There was a crowd too, and they were tipping. Tipping = happy strippers, and most of them were rubbing up against customers and not averse to getting felt up a little themselves. And was that girl jumping off the main stage and doing a quick lapdance?
A fake tittied dancer with big tits on the rear stage with a star around one of her areolas introduced herself as Naughty. Not her given name, I'd imagine. Said she was from DC, and those big ol' fake titties rubbed up against my cheek. Nice! Sat down in front of another girl. Said her name was something equally unbelievable as a given name (I don't really remember). Tall. Probably played a sport if she went to college. Small tits with eraser nips. Piercing on her taint.
Sat down in front of Michiko? Something Japanese. Don't know if the accent she had was for show, because she said she was from Seattle. Not really sure if she was Japanese either. Maybe Korean, maybe Filipino-something. You know how the lights are in these places. All I remember is that she was short, petite and had huge rack of big ol' fake titties and she had one of those pussies that just spread open on its own.
Also worth noting that these girls did not look like they were cycling in from Ballarina's (something I'd seen in the past). Looked like they were all Rock-Za house dancers.
So was it an anomaly? A hallucination created from the memories of better times? I guess I'll have to go again and see.

It later became Totally Titanium and then Deja Vu Showgirls before closing in mid 2000's. Other places may have used similar ad lines (and perhaps Classic Cat did) but I recall it from the MJP clubs (including the one in Hawaii), and I'm pretty sure it's trademarked.

It was still ok when it first changed to Dancers. In later years Dancers was definitely a dive, but in the early years Dirty Dan's was actually a pretty nice place. It was really big inside, and clean. The stage had a long runway attached. There were some hot girls dancing there. Because of the area, the clientele was mostly bikers, but of all the times I went there, I don't recall any crazy fights or anything. Good shows, friendly hot dancers, reasonably priced drinks.

DejaVu is owned by someone else who owned a nationwide chain of clubs. I know I remember seeing the sign in Waikiki, but I thought it went as far back as Pure Platinum. It may have only been there after that place changed to DejaVu. I also remember seeing it at clubs on the mainland, so I knew it was a chain thing not an individual club thing. Since the topic came up here, it brought back memories and I googled it. Interesting what you can find on google. LOL.

I remember I still had a Club Mignon t-shirt that I wore in the early 2000's! Was funny running into an oldtimer in the street or in a store or something and having him point to my shirt and give a thumbs up, 20 years after the place closed. What happened was that I was driving home from school around 4 pm. I was attending UH Manoa and lived on the Windward side. Traffic was horrendous and I decided to stop in for happy hour and let traffic die down.Funny. I used had a similar commuter situation when I went to UH. I'd hang out at Femme Nu. I had an English lit lecturer that kept on mysteriously not showing up to teach his class. It got so bad, we were wondering if the clas was going to be cancelled and we'd all get an A (it was one of those college rumors people swore was true). I'm at Femme Nu one afternoon and there he was. Saw him a few times there, always with the same girl. So that explained that.
I remember I still had a Club Mignon t-shirt that I wore in the early 2000's! She said Yuni kept her on the day shift, so I guess there is still a day shift. And to be fair, I could see why Yuni would want to keep this girl working days. This girl was huge. I mean, I know the girls working at Femme Nu are nothing like the ones that used to work there in the '90's, but this girl was big. (No, I didn't hit it. Made up a reason why I had to leave.).

But that was because the girls who worked the night shift, the shifts that made crazy money, were stunning. Hell, even the girls that worked during the day did ok. It was a totally different world.

(I frequented Femme Nu, Rock Za, Club Rose and the Wild Horse back then. Not sure about the other clubs, but the other members are more than welcome to chime in.).
It was also a different vibe. The girls were a lot more chill. I know I keep on saying that, but I don't remember the girls hustling me in Femme Nu for drinks. I'm guessing it was because their garters were always choked with bills and the bar was always busy as hell. If a girl liked you, or hell, if she was bored, she'd just talk. Light up a cigarette, yes on stage, lay there and talk. This was even more so during the day. I used to work at a cigar shop around the corner from Femme Nu, so I'd know a lot of the girls because they'd buy cigarettes (at least, the ones that didn't smoke Marlboros because the 7-11 was always cheaper for Marlboros). I'd show up at the club when I finished up at the shop, they'd smoke, I'd smoke a cigar and we'd just talk. Or I'd just sprawl out on a corner, blow smoke rings and chill out. Sometimes a girl I knew would plop down next to me and just hang. It was nice.
There is nothing like sitting your ass down while the sun is still up, hanging out in a strip club, smoking a Cuban (back when Cubans were actually worth the price) then walking back out into the sun and being blinded by it because you just spent the afternoon tipping or bullshitting with your favorite bunch of dancers. The funny thing about going into Femme Nu back then is that during the day, they were heavy on the UV lighting so you'd see every speck of dust if you wore a black shirt, and once your eye acclimated, everything was bathed in this weird purplish-blue color. Then you head to Akasaka because you're hungry and one of the girls join you because she's hungry too. I know there's guys here who talk about daymongering, but $200 back then could get though two in the afternoon to the early evening at the club if you didn't go crazy (not counting the sushi).
I'm not going to say I lived through the golden age of strip clubs. I think the guys who are older than me who remember Stoplite have that honor. But I do think I saw the strip clubs peak, hit their high mark, then recede. Like Tony Soprano said: "It's good to be in something from the ground floor. I came too late for that and I know. But lately, I'm getting the feeling that I came in at the end. The best is over. "

It was also a different vibe. The girls were a lot more chill. I know I keep on saying that, but I don't remember the girls hustling me in Femme Nu for drinks. I'm guessing it was because their garters were always choked with bills and the bar was always busy as hell. If a girl liked you, or hell, if she was bored, she'd just talk. Light up a cigarette, yes on stage, lay there and talk. This was even more so during the day. I used to work at a cigar shop around the corner from Femme Nu, so I'd know a lot of the girls because they'd buy cigarettes (at least, the ones that didn't smoke Marlboros because the 7-11 was always cheaper for Marlboros). I'd show up at the club when I finished up at the shop, they'd smoke, I'd smoke a cigar and we'd just talk. Or I'd just sprawl out on a corner, blow smoke rings and chill out. Sometimes a girl I knew would plop down next to me and just hang. It was nice.
There is nothing like sitting your ass down while the sun is still up, hanging out in a strip club, smoking a Cuban (back when Cubans were actually worth the price) then walking back out into the sun and being blinded by it because you just spent the afternoon tipping or bullshitting with your favorite bunch of dancers. The funny thing about going into Femme Nu back then is that during the day, they were heavy on the UV lighting so you'd see every speck of dust if you wore a black shirt, and once your eye acclimated, everything was bathed in this weird purplish-blue color. Then you head to Akasaka because you're hungry and one of the girls join you because she's hungry too. I know there's guys here who talk about daymongering, but $200 back then could get though two in the afternoon to the early evening at the club if you didn't go crazy (not counting the sushi).
I'm not going to say I lived through the golden age of strip clubs. I think the guys who are older than me who remember Stoplite have that honor. But I do think I saw the strip clubs peak, hit their high mark, then recede. Like Tony Soprano said: "It's good to be in something from the ground floor. I came too late for that and I know. I'm assuming this is limited to Femme Nu and 939; there's literally no space to do this at RZ. I haven't been to SPIII or any of the other, smaller places recently to notice of this was an issue.

I think her name was Ashley but no luck in convincing her to be a dancer.In my experience over the last 30 years, it seems like the waitress position is a introduction to working in a strip club and in many instances leads to dancing, or at least trying it. It would be my suggestion to continue going to see her and when she does start dancing, you will have a nice time with someone you already have a relationship with. If not, you will still get good service and have a nice time with a cute waitress. Sounds like a win-win. I know I will continue to apply this approach.

However, I'd take a hot waitress serving me any day over a dude LOL. What is probably understated is that 939 has a hot door girl too. I feel like she's been there a couple years but way better looking and at least acts nice to me every time I come in. I wonder if we're allowed to buy her drinks?

CS.I hope you're right. Wild Horse used to bring in porn stars back in the day, but the management got lazy and started bringing in the same girls over and over again, which were usually Asian porn stars. Great if you like Asian girls, but if you're into the white meat, not so much. (Seriously, how many times did Mimi Miyagi and Minka feature at the Wild Horse?
Anyway, feature dancing is dying, if not dead, among the current crop of porn stars. Used to be that strippers became porn stars so they could feature and make real money (I've heard Ginger Lynn and girls of her caliber would make $10 k for feature dancing). But since there's so many porn "stars" out there now, the market's collapsed for feature dancing. When the girls tour, it's just to do "privates", and from what the girls I know say, most girls haven't done well touring in Hawaii and they stick to major cities with money (LA, Chicago, NY, London and maybe Dubai).
So we've been talking a lot about the old clubs on the White Girls in the 808 thread, and it got me thinking about my first time hitting a strip club here.
I was in high school in the early '90's and someone I knew (not exactly a friend and not exactly an acquaintance) said he got into Femme Nu. I called bullshit because he was 17 (as I was). He swore up and down he got in and we'd be able to get in too, so I offered to drive. Another guy jumped in and said he wanted to come along.
Fully expecting not to get in, we lined up at the door (it was that busy back then). Some old guy was checking IDs and I was thinking we'd get laughed at and kicked out. The guy who told us we could get in said, "Just look down when you go in, and don't look up until we get our drinks. ".
We get up to the old guy and he looked at our IDs. He said, "Ok, you're not 21 so you can't drink. " Took our money, and bam, we were through the curtain. Did I keep my eyes down? Nope. Holy crap, it was everything I expected. Real boobs. Fake boobs. Mostly shaved pussies spread wide open.
I don't remember how long my ones lasted, but I do remember I hit those guys up for "gas money" as soon as I was out. What could they do? I was their ride.
Pretty sure it did something to me psychologically, because I've dated a lot of women in the sex industry since then. Probably something to work out in therapy.
