Been hitting all the Tier 2 and 3 places Pinellas and decided to try a Tier 1 Place.
Pulled into the River and parking for the customer is clearly marked. Walk in and Temp Check from Mamasan. Ask if I been there before and said Yes. She says never see you before, you first time customer 45 minutes max. Kinda funny they had that same rule at Eves in Clearwater. Also the Mamasan would not touch the money only the lady, also same as Eve's. Tampa banned the table showers which we have in Pinellas, so had a separate shower. Mamasan helped me dry off a little. I got the feeling I was not off on the right track with her. Maybe she plays hard ball.
Anyways, the lady finally enters the room. She has the youthful look the Tier 1 places have. I would say 20's but I'm usually off 10 years, so if could be high as 30. In Bay Area it's pretty rare but in Orlando it's almost standard. Don't even have to ask but YMMV.

Tell them what you want going in and they're pretty good about letting you know if it's on the table or not. Pricing is generally 45 minutes at an all-inclusive 200 up front (think of it as 60 house + 140 tip). A couple of places will also do 60 minutes at 240 (80 house + 160 tip). I suppose you could haggle and save a few bucks.

I am a wee bit LESS crushed now and this is good to know, even though PT is even FURTHER for me to drive (I'm already an enormous distance from Crystal / HR). Even though Pine Tree has generally enjoyed a highly positive reputation with regard to the talent they bring in, it would rather seem that, between Soda from Han River and Joann from Crystal, they are really stepping up their game.

Over the years, they've gone through several stages of "great" (typical pre-crackdown Kennedy Blvd reliable spot, like Kim's), to "questionable" (this is the place where the door attendant actually LET THE FREAKIN' REPORTER (and camera person) inside the place!), to "UNreliable" (I saw a lovely girl there in August of 2019 named Michelle who said FS was not on the table at all... supposedly due to her Aunt Flo! NONE of those places, when they WERE reliable, would ever have a girl even working when in that state!), to what now would appear to be "GREAT!" again (i.e. Joann and Nicole/Nikole). In any case, if Joann and Nicole are now their new "standard" for quality of talent and services, I would agree that Yoshiko may be "back" and would continue to compete strongly with Momo and June at Han River (I'm not a fan of Ginger at HR). Also, even though Joann is no longer at Crystal, I've been told that Crystal's current talent (Coco, I believe, and others) remains top-notch and on par with Joann, which would also put them in the mix of being a (hopefully reliable) go-to spot as an alternative to either of the other two. I haven't actually seen Coco yet, but I hope to do so eventually (I have way too many on my "To-Do List" to get there in the immediate future... good problem to have, eh?).

Unless you get BJ while getting a haircut, why would anyone wants go there for the actual haircut?They have barber chairs to wards undercover and do believe fake (maybe realtor maybe real licenses on the wall). I did my research and off I did go. I did see 3 Latinas there and all from South America. The place doesn't stick out like the shops on Kennedy, but I am sure neighboring businesses know the deal as most businesses near these type of shops.
