In general it has been my best experience YMMV.Went to Kims today. My first time and must sum it up with one word: Disappointment.
I arrive mid day and was introduced to a very cute, young attractive Korean girl who gave me a super TS and then it was back to the room. She wanted to know what I was expecting. I told her as a minimum a HE and she indicated a HJ would be 1. 00. I told her the customary tip was. 40 for that. She indicated that all up and down Kennedy and the immediate area it was 1. 00. This is their modicum of "security" so they can't be accused of offering services in exchange of value.
Once you indicated your "minimum" level of service, she must have felt reluctant to negotiate on services, preferring to set a HIGH price and then, possibly, expecting YOU to suggest a higher level of service. That's the only logic that occurs to me for what you experienced. The net is that the girls at the businesses in this neighborhood still just don't want to put in the time for basic services.
Based on the much longer list of establishments up & down Kennedy Blvd I posted earlier (and the deafening silence in response), I think I've now visited the top four hottest AMP's in the area: Orange, Yoshiko, Kim's, and now, as of Friday (Feb. 5th), Crystal Spa (formerly branded as "Fuji Spa" at some point in the past). It was typically top shelf service by a rockin' body of an attendant, as seems largely consistent at all four of these places.
At Crystal Spa I drew Diana, a tallish Korean with typically broken English, killer body with bolt-ons somewhat firmer than I prefer (and WAY too sensitive pencil eraser nipples that just screamed BITE ME, but was not permitted. Only very light sucking and licking), also a nice slim waistline and hips with a very welcoming, and gloriously tasty hot-spot (where the legs meet). The only downside was that her face was just "ok" instead of drop-dead-knock-out-gorgeous, as I've enjoyed at the other 3 places. I'm sure Crystal Spa has their share of those beauties, as well, but I've only seen this one and she was more on the just "very pretty" side (still, that's way better than some other places).

Another aspect of this visit to Crystal that made it very easy was that as soon as the short, tubby, little mamasan put me in the room she looked at me and said "You been here before, right?" (I had NOT), so I said "oh, yes, of course" with a very nonchalant and confident tone. Evidently I looked familiar enough to her that she was pretty sure I had been, so she asked in such a manner that made it easy to complete the charade in a convincing manner. THAT made it easier for me to just plunk down the $. 6 tip, as soon as I returned from the TS, with a level of confidence that clearly demonstrated to Diana that there would be no further negotiation on the tip. She collected the donation without question, and I've now legitimately established that amount as standard payment and I expect NOT to run into a future attendant at Crystal Spa asking for more (as much as $$, on top of. 8 house fee, has been demanded by "Lucky" at Yoshiko Spa).

I would love to hear that $. 2 is accepted at Crystal Spa, as I've never gotten away with that at Orange (6 minimum on my visits, and some girls act offended, preferring MORE, but accept begrudgingly), or Kim's (same scoff of dissatisfaction at $. 6, implying a desire for MORE, but accept begrudingly), or Yoshiko (same $. 6 minimim, but I had to negotiate DOWN to that point from original ask of $$, and one girl {named Lucky} outright TOLD me that it would be $$ next time). On those occasions where the girl seems really unhappy with the $. 6, the service has always been "full and complete", but also less than enthusiastic and usually uninspired and mechanical.

I've had good success at Crystal's and Kim's by never discussing money. Pay the house fee up front and no discussion of money ever again. I just give a good tip after I'm dressed. I'm not trying to save a few dollars so I typically leave $180 or $200. When the girl allows this business model, I've gotten superior service, perhaps because she knows the link between her service and the tip.
This sequence is what I followed from my very first visit to Kim's, but I did call ahead to set an appointment. It was my 2nd or 3rd visit to Crystal's before this happened.
This same concept seldom works at Orange and never worked at Yoshiko.

P Chop.Your rates are about the same as I've experienced in those areas. I'm sure there are pockets of high and low prices, Flushing being lower prices than other parts of NY. New Orleans is mixed prices, in the Quarter you may pay $220 total for an old Korean hag. Get outside the city and you might pay $140 for a sexy Vietnamese girl. Southern California is also mixed on prices, depends on exactly where you go. In Arizona I've found some really great girls, but they were charging Tampa prices.
Be sure to understand that your Tampa $200 is the tip only, house may run you an extra $80. I can't remember anyplace where the AMPs are more expensive than the top ones in Tampa.

I'm guessing that's how Kennedy Blvd got up to the point it is now, although the youth and beauty of the talent in that area is, admittedly, superior to most other areas.

Another aspect of this visit to Crystal that made it very easy was that as soon as the short, tubby, little mamasan put me in the room she looked at me and said "You been here before, right?" (I had NOT), so I said "oh, yes, of course" with a very nonchalant and confident tone. Evidently I looked familiar enough to her that she was pretty sure I had been, so she asked in such a manner that made it easy to complete the charade in a convincing manner. THAT made it easier for me to just plunk down the $. 6 tip, as soon as I returned from the TS, with a level of confidence that clearly demonstrated to Diana that there would be no further negotiation on the tip. She collected the donation without question, and I've now legitimately established that amount as standard payment and I expect NOT to run into a future attendant at Crystal Spa asking for more (as much as $$, on top of. 8 house fee, has been demanded by "Lucky" at Yoshiko Spa).

No secrete other than being persistent however if you become a regular you will enjoy the sessions. She is really sexy. She has a huge client base and I believe she responds to regulars first. My good fortune at Kim's may have been supported by my call to reserve Yumi at a certain time and then showing up clean and well groomed, friendly, and acting like I've been there before. I'm old enough to collect social security retirement, my doctor tells me I should lose 40 pounds, and my ex-wife said I'm hung like a mouse. Perhaps it's my charming personality, it sure isn't my appearance.
Actually, I'm surprised others haven't had this experience. Someone should reserve Yumi at Kim's and see what happens using my system.I agree completely. I know Kim's has a similar 'membership' program, but they didn't describe any "frequent flyer" benefit when I signed up.

My conundrum is created by the fact that when simply Googling "Ocean Spa Tampa", Google maps will lead you to the OLD OCEAN located on Henderson Blvd. However, a deeper search of the interweb (I. E. Googling "Ocean Tampa Backpage") shows me that the NEW OCEAN is a totally different place way up on Hillsborough Ave. West of Veterans Exprwy and in a strip mall with a Dollar Store. So. . . No logical reason to believe that Uncle LEO would necessarily associate the two separate business locations as identical.
Mystery solved. Sorry about clogging up the thread with my ignorance!

If you want to play it safe go to Pinellas County I haven't heard of any bust over there (at least that I am aware of).

So I finally got to check out kim's with some of my boys. I must say all of us were very very impressed. I got the pleasure of dreaming "Ivee" Seems currency has gone up from other reviews I've read but the experience was spot on. I am so curious now I would like to try out some of these other AMP's. .At no time is this hobby isn't safe from uncle LEO. With AMPs, you are less likely to get stung, especially if you are trying out a new girl. The safer I mean is less likely to get mugged / robbed. Sure, you might over pay or have a bad experience with a girl, but you aren't going to open the bathroom door on a guy with a gun.

Went in this morning to get some kinks worked out. Opted for a half for. 6. Attendant kept leaving in the middle of my massage. Once she finally settled down, I got a decent rub. On the flip it was just a handshake. No extras were offered. It worked in a pinch, but I don't think I'll be going back. I was grooming one attendant, but she quit. Googling "Ocean Tampa Backpage") shows me that the NEW OCEAN is a totally different place way up on Hillsborough Ave. West of Veterans Exprwy and in a strip mall with a Dollar Store. So. . . No logical reason to believe that Uncle LEO would necessarily associate the two separate business locations as identical.
Mystery solved. Sorry about clogging up the thread with my ignorance!As stated the Old Ocean and New Ocean are completely different. In fact the names are even different. The Old Ocean in South Tampa was called Ocean Spa and the new Ocean is called Ocean Massage. The problem with the old Ocean in south Tampa was the neighbor. This ***** was continuously on them until she caused them problems. The ***** probably saw her husband seeking out the back door one day so she took her revenge out on them (just a guess).
Stores in Tampa are in city limits and unincorporated County. I only know of 1 store in unincorporated Hillsborough County having a problem. That was Serenity Massage on North Dale Mabry. Cheers.Can confirm that it's $$ and has been for a while. It was the first place I ever went to when I first got into the hobby and didn't know there were cheaper options available. It's a nice spot where they aim to please, but they expect you to pay full price. Parking situation also isn't the best if you want to maintain some kind of privacy. I've parked in the lot at the mattress store next door and walked over to avoid being in the lot and having everybody know where I'm going.

I've seen Hannah at The Ritz several times. For those of you wanting the short story, steer clear of this girl. Strong indications are she on drugs and maybe deals. Never know what person your going to get when you walk in. She's psycho and not to mention no FS.

Not really answering your question but I did my first time at Ritz last week. Nicer, younger thin probably mulatto girl took me in, asked if I wanted an hour massage (yet signs there say no massage). I said sure I guess I've never been there before. Paid $. 6 and went to the room, she said get ready.
I went full on nude on the pseudo massage table. She came in, started BBBJ and used some kind of lube on legs and groin at the same time.
