Play safe, Greg.Cellular carriers can triangulate your location with good accuracy whenever your phone is turned on. Turning on GPS increases accuracy, but in a city with many cell towers the triangulation can be within a few feet of the true location. So, just keep it turned off.
Triangulation works for all cell phones, not just smartphones. Your hobby phone will be tracked too, but if you set it up correctly it will have no personal info tying it to you. There are a couple of other hobby phone anonymity clues that I prefer not to share in a public forum.
Also, don't use your smartphone as a GPS to get location info for a meeting. Use a standalone GPS if needed, then wipe the history.
I would also suggest using a search engine other than Google on any device; it likes to add display ads based on your search term history. I was a mite embarassed recently when my PC kept showing ads for the hotel where I last met Lilly Whyte!

I worked for many years doing high level security after I retired from the Army. There are lots of misconceptions about legal issues, safety measures etc. For example, turning off your phone will prevent it from being tracked. As long as it has a power source the underlying operations are still functioning. Ie. It can be pinged from a cell tower. You have to take out the battery. Turning it off will effectively hide it from snooping wives that may have apps or for the iphone, have your icloud account info and can use "find my phone", but the cell carrier can ping it as long as there is power.
Bear in mind though, that regardless of what you see on NCIS or CSI, it is not as simple as the Police geek rapidly typing on a keyboard and your location, every phone call you have ever made and if you are wearing clean undies pops up on screen. Basically they would have to make a request of the carrier, who is probably going to be reluctant to give it up because they don't want it to come back to bite them. It would be one thing if you were a terrorist, but if the only thing you are going jihad on is some girls fatwa, they probably aren't going to care enough to go to all the trouble.
I would be far more concerned with a girl and / or pimp trying to rip you off, or worse. As well as a set up sting. LEO is not going to have a team of hackers tracking you or send out the drones with hellfires for us. They are just going to set up a sting, post some BP ads and allow the weaker members of the herd to cull themselves.
That being said, there is no harm in being paranoid in this hobby.

In fact I never give the money in advance to the provider and if she insists I leave. I always put it in plain sight where both parties can see the donation for time. I moved from L. A to Nashville 9 years ago, the supply and demand is what drive the pricing. In the particular town I moved from was just out side LA so there were a small hand full of providers, the going rate was 2$$ and up with NO GFE. It was meet and greet only. My point though in commenting is the part about tapping the phone. LE was perhaps not telling the truth there and simply trying to intimidate you by making you think they had more. Good reminder that they are not obligated to telling the truth in trying to get an arrest. Unless they had your permission or your trusted friend's, then if they had tapped the phone, they couldn't have used that. But, they would have loved for you to think they could and hopefully give in and try to " help" yourself. Good job in not giving them what they wanted. That's like hunting butterflies with bazookas; the effort doesn't match the crime. More than likely, an undercover detective was watching your girl (or her pimp) on probable drug and / or trafficking suspicion. When you pulled in, they ran your tags and had officers near your home casing the streets to pull you over. They searched your car looking for drugs on probable cause because of your contact with a suspicious person involved with their investigation. I mean, what else would they be interested in? A condom stash? They were probably trying to get you to talk knowing that you were involved with a sex trade for money scheme. Police will use this tactic to get you to admit guilt; charges and detainment follow directly after. I've been researching these guys and have a detective in the extended family (not in Nash). It never hurts to park a block or two away, if possible, and walk to your appointment. Even taking a cab wouldn't be a bad idea. Just my two cents! Stay safe and keep the info flowing!

If you piss the cop off by being uncooperative, he will probably put you in the paddywagon anyway. I mean, don't be stupid and incriminate yourself. NEVER admit guilt, but be willing to work with the situation. Have a story and stick to it. Keep it general and leave details out. This method has gotten me out of several sticky situations in the past including a DUI arrest. When the cop asked me if I had anything to drink, I acted like hadn't had a drink in months. A cop's goal is to build evidence against you for court. Therefore, always LIE about anything that can incriminate you. In court, it will be your word versus his. This gives your Lawyer some ground to work with if charges are filed. If the cop doesn't have a perfect record, the case could get thrown out all together. Just my two cents again. Take it for what it's worth and stay safe!

I have and I know several ladies who has as well. Nobody should be violated in such fashion. Myself as well as some well known hobbiest that I correspond with don't enjoy this board as much anymore because of this problem. I would also like to warn the ladies out there, if you have a hobbyist to contact you offering to help you expand your business in exchange for freebies, do not trust this person. You will regret it. Nor should you fellow hobbiest or ladies trust anyone that is having sex multiple times a week with several different ladies without wearing their raincoat. Some of the pictures posted on this board speaks volumes to me.

I have had the great pleasure of meeting this fine lady. I found with most of the ladies that I have spent time with, if you treat them with respect, they will greatly show you their appreciation to you. I found her to be a great conversationalist and more attractive in person than her photos. She has a very appealing curvy body as well. She didn't portray herself as someone that she is not like most ladies in this industry does. I am very disappointed that anyone would speak negatively of someone that they have never even met. We all need to take a look at ourselves before insulting other individuals. There are many ladies in this business. They all come in different shapes and sizes. Just because you are not attracted to a certain one, it doesn't mean that nobody else is. I know of one hobbiest who is on 2 different boards. He worked at an automotive manufacturer I forgot where and from what I remember he thought he could get away with what he was doing but it escalated and he lost everything family, job, and his freedom; the provider also got caught. I had a guy contact me a while back and told me I was on the blacklist board. I said what are you talking about? I never did anything to any provider.
He gave me the link and there I was. I was shocked. I could not even remember the provider because it had been a while.
I went back through my emails and remembered making the appointment.
I had made an appointment to see her mid morning on a Sat. I had hurt my back late on Fri working on a job site. I went home took some meds and hoped it would be better in the morning. When I woke up to go to the appointment I could not get out of bed. I called the provider to let her know what happened and she said she understood. LOL.

I do know that there is at least one social networking site for providers that includes a "blacklist," but in order to report an incident to this database, you have to categorize it and include a pretty good description. Very few of the entries are categorized as "no show / timewaster." Most are "dangerous / violent" or "law enforcement."
And this site requires that your membership be approved, which involves providing references or reviews to "prove" that you're a provider, so without an elaborate scheme of fake references or fake reviews (or a SERIOUS career change, LOL) , you probably wouldn't be able to search for your own number.
With that being said, a certain provider might have a list of all the blacklisted numbers in Nashville. Already checked it for numbers of my past clients, and didn't find any matches. You're safe on at least one site, anyway.

Just my 2 cents but whenever I text someone new, I always tell them when I can receive a text. So if I am not in a position to receive it, I won't. That said, if they don't, go with the crazy text and act like it was sent to the wrong person. That person will know what it's about and get back when he can. Hope that helps.

I'm just wondering if I'm doing anything wrong. When I'm looking to play, I do my research and contact 4-8 girls through text or email and ask if that have any time available. I'm lucky to get one response within a hour or two and I might get another one the next day.

Thanks.I suppose your percentage of responses could vary somewhat, depending on where (what sites or other sources) you're looking, & what depth &\or type of research you're doing: but just about anywhere in this "business" you're going to have a high percentage of "flakes" who just can't (or won't) get their shit together at all &\or keep their shit together long enough to do their "business" in any rational & timely way.

Dear Ron, Kyowa made some good points. I would like to clarify in more detail so I have comprised a list of the major factors involved in which your inquiries are not being answered.
1. Some ladies just don't care and are rude and inconsiderate.
2. If you are contacting a lady whose rates are cheaper than most, they probably spends time with several men a day which keeps them booked up. That also disall ows them to return your inquiry within the time frame in which you would like for them to.
3. Some ladies do not answer text message from someone that she has not met.
4. Some ladies will not respond to you if you make or ask rude, or explicit comments.
5. If a man is a member of a board and have bashed, or made contrite comments about other members or ladies on that board, she will ignore them. Unless, it is a honest and constructive review of a lady.
6. Some of us find it very annoying when a gentlemen contacts us at the last minute asking us if we are available now or very soon. As if we are sitting around eati ng Bon Bon's waiting for the phone to ring. Like you, we have a normal and busy life outside of this business.
7. Some ladies would like for you to send your verifiable screening information during the same time as your request. This will allow us to check your references mo re quickly.
8. Some ladies are only doing this on the side and works full time which enables them to respond to you in a timely fashion.

Thanks.If you are cold calling girls you have never saw then yep your average is just about like mine. I have found that in Nashville some of the ladies have a bad case of GPS syndrome. As in one of the replys below some do travel, have other appointments or work a full time job and just do this on the side, however; that is only a small percentage of them. The turth is that if: 1) they have a call from someone they have met before they see them because they feel safer. 2) Once they have had a date or two they have money to buy drugs, alcohol or whatever thier imediate need is. 3) What most girls will not tell you is that they get several calls per day so they turn off thier phone when they are not working and just delete all the VM or text once they turn it back on. 4) They all try to keep a guy or two on the hook to call and give some sob story so they will come see them or send the money.
Now before I get a bunch or PMs or responses from providers on here please note I said "MOST NOT ALL" so in other words "it is what it is". If this stings you a bit or hurts your feeling then maybe it should so if you are not like this there is no need for you or one of your "Captian-Save-A-Hos" to respond trying to convience us you are not. Ok ladies flame away which one of you is going to prove me right first.

Thanks for the responses. It's definitely a tricky situation starting out. You have to, first find someone your interested interested in meeting with, second get them to respond and third arranging a meeting with no / or limited history. I guess everyone has to deal with this in the beginning.

See if they say call then call and if they say text then text and if they say email then email ok. AND if they say no text then don't text and if they say no block calls then don't block it see.
