In my hobbying I usually stick to actual voice conversations and I've avoided texting until I've personally confirmed the provider is legit. Then if there's repeat dreamings I make it clear I don't accept unexpected calls or texts, ever.

Am I overly cautious in not texting prospective providers? Is it still best / safest to stick with voice calls? What about voicemails?

I've never had any real concerns texting. In my opinion if you're going to get busted it's going to be because of what happens when you show up and will have very little to do with your means of communication. Of course, I'm no expert. I have NOT stayed at any of the three hotels near 11th and the bypass in many years, so I can not speak of current conditions, but I suspect any of the three is probably an upgrade from the New Mill Motel. Although they may require a CC.

Would I get a room there again? New Mill Motel: in a pinch or with a SW, sure. But if I actually want to enjoy the room at all, I'd go someplace else.

Downsides: Rough, dated, not as clean as most.

Upsides: Private, cash, No CC, no papertrail, functional.

But long answer short (and may not be the right one or is there a correct answer). IMO it depends on what your truly looking for long term and how do you feel about this woman. RF.That is the place, I drive by there almost every day. I have been led to beleive nothing EVER happens there, they also used to have a place in downtown LaSalle (it may still be there). The LaSalle County sherriff is known to go after places where stuff happens (including local truck stops) as well as an Oriental spa that briefly opened over in Ottawa.

These guys are getting lazier. Was just checking out the ads on CL and saw this one in Rockford who is described as a mixed race BBW. It has occurred to me that I posted this in the wrong Rockford thread. I posted it in Massage Parlors and is better served here:

I have been away from the hobby and this board for a long time. So, I thought I'the earn my way back in by providing some basic information to the new guys who want to do the Belvidere massage places or the Rockford lingerie shops. Some of my information may be dated, since I don't know if standard tip amounts have changed or if new places have opened. However, if you read this material, you'll be better equipped to manage situations that you find yourself in.

In Rockford, there are two lingerie shops (1. Exclusive Lingerie Boutique, and 2. Chantilly Lace). In Belvidere there are two massage places (1. Executive Relaxation Station, and 2. Cest La Vi). Google the names of the places and you will find the addresses.

In Belvidere, the standard appointment duration is 50 minutes. The basic program is: you walk in, look at a selection of women, pick your preference, go to a private room, clean up in the shower and get a lame massage with 'happy ending'. In the middle of your session, she'll offer you the opportunity to massage her, then after a while, you'll switch back to her massaging you for the ending. The happy ending will be by hand, or her breasts. Performing oral, receiving oral, intercourse, digital penetration are all against the rules and 99.999% of the women follow the rules. Don't expect more and you won't be disappointed. Door fee is around $100, standard tip for acceptable service is $20.

In Rockford, you can get an appointment for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes (or something similar). The basic program is: you walk in, look at a selection of women, pick your preference, go to a private room, and "play" with the model you have chosen. Play can mean watch her try on and model lingerie, touching, oral, or full service. I like to think of it as a really long lap dance with a happy ending. Door fee depends on the amount of time you select. Be smart, only pay after you know for sure that you're staying.

You tip in advance at these places (before your session). You can tip more afterwards, if you like, but the amount of the advance tip either 1) sets the tone for the session (Belvidere), or 2) is code for the service you want (Rockford). In Belvidere, $20 is standard. If you tip $20 at the beginning don't expect her to be as enthusiastic as if you start with $30. I sometimes put out $30 and let her know I have more money to tip based on how much fun we have. The more you duke her in the beginning, the better the tone of your session.

In Rockford, a $60 tip means you want oral, a $100 tip means full service. Simple.

As stated above, you're expected to pay the door fee before you head to your private room. Sometimes, you don't have the exact bills needed and she'll need to bring you some change. Sometimes the change is conveniently "forgotten" and disappears into someone's G-string. So, if I have $20 change coming from the door fee and I am in Rockford looking for oral, I will leave $40 in the tip location and when she returns just motion to where I put the $40 and ask her to add the change to that. In Belvidere, after you're done with your shower and sitting on the table waiting for her, the tip should be clearly visible lying on a chair or on a towel rack so she can easily see it and grab it with no fanfare. In Rockford, I usually put the tip on the sink, arm of the couch, or the towel rack.

Went to Rockford this weekend.

Have not really gotten lucky so to speak in almost 4 years. I have however gone out on what would call "normal" dates with several different women. Did make a recent trip to rockford. The streets as normal seem to have no girls out at all. So choose the linerie shops. Exclusive had no girls I found desireable. CL had a couple, one who I think I saw before as well as Suzy who I think is real hot. So I choose her.

Looks like some money that is owed me will be coming my way so doing a but of hunting. Have seen some GL SW in the normal places. A few I have not seen before and a couple who look like an old freinds one about a block west of Broadway and 7th the other by the new gas station on S11th.

But then last summer the cougar I liked she was like at her high school reunion and she hooked up with the guy she went to prom with and he is in Freeport so its like she is seeing him and did not want to see me anymore. But now that I got a job and I also do not have a cougar girlfriend or an age appropriate girlfriend I have gone out looking and cruising the streets in the same old areas but I have seen nothing and then I remember I could read about stuff on here and then there are lots of readings to do. Since it has been like years since I was reading stuff here and there were 52 pages of things to read and that is a lot of reading, so some of the stuff that is like way old I did not read since things change and the old stuff might be fun to read but not real good for finding stuff since the news old news. It would be like reading an old paper and have them say how great it is that Obama is getting elected again.

So I have nothing to report since as I said I just got a job and a pay check and my mom and dad say I should pay them since I stay at their house and eat food there, so I am going to do that.
