Don't know where City Nights fits, but Brooklyn seems the closest. Stop in and the place is totally dead except for one girl dancing and a drunk guy at the end of the bar. Says that there are six girls working. Only saw five the whole time. Did shoot the shit with an attractive-looking brunette named Toni. She had glasses on and a really nice smile. Hung out for a while and decided since this was my last stop, I would get a dance for her. $25 for one dance. Pretty good dance. She did all the standard stuff and fondled me through my pant-leg (again, no undies), but nothing spectacular. She did all the stripper moves that they think we want to see. I wasn't terribly impressed. Looks like she's be good in the sack, though. I left and headed for the southside stroll.

I had an appointment early this morning and thought I would do a roll thru you boy's stomping ground. Man, what a war zone! I cruised around the areas I have heard about on here and was just about to give up when I turned on Lynch and bada bing bada boom there they were. First off there is a skanky WSW sitting on a milk crate in a driveway with her pimp daddy flagging me down and then there must have been 6 BSW's in a row, one looking worse than the last. Did see one with a huge rack barely covered and then I turned right on 9th and there was a skanky BSW pulling up her skirt flashing the beav and yelling at the top of her lungs. Needless to say I bolted real quick. I will say this for you boys, it must be hard for y'all to walk around with big brass ones like you got. I am a street wise kinda guy and nothing much puts the fear in me, but I definitely do not have the stones for that neck of the woods. Wow, where you even go after the pick up? Lord have mercy, that is freakin East Beruit as far as I am concerned and I will not be venturing that way again, without a fuckin' howitzer and whole lot of liquid courage. My hats off to you dudes though, that is street huntin' at its finest. That's all I got and probably won't do nothing but lurk on this forum from now on. Good luck guys.

I couldn't agree more. I'm relatively new to the STL area having moved here in late '04. However, I've been mongering for 20+ years all over the world and I have never seen a place as down right frightning as ESL - not even the back alleys of Tongducheon South Korea freaked me out like ESL does. I don't even like rolling through during the day let alone at night. I don't know how you guys do it. Can't say I find the South Side Stroll much better either. Rolled through Chippewa between Broadway and Grand the other night and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. All those damn stop signs at every freaking intersection made me just want to run 'em all in order to escape! For me part of the allure was the thrill of the hunt. Guess I'm getting old, but the thrill is definitely gone. Looks like I'm resigned to hang up my street mongering aspirations and just forking out the big bucks for a Backpage girl when the mood strikes me. Seems like the saner thing to do. Hay this is my first post but I've been at this forever in the alton area and just broadening my horizons. Anyways was out tonight, went down exchange like 3 times and nothing; completly dead. So I went around the corner to lench. Saw 1 BSW- dirty ugly and up the road a WSW- not bad looking maybe a 5 in the face and a 7 for body with a great natural rack. Got a BBBJ. I was at City Nights last night from 8-10 P. M. In Sauget. The place was dead, but I did meet a nice and attractive girl named Kassi. I'm attracted to the tall type, so I admire her 5'9" stature, which translates to 6'2" in her heals. She has a 33" inseam and solid muscle tone. For a tall girl, she's pretty good with the pole tricks. I spent most of my time with her. As sweet as she was, I got the feeling that extras were not on the menu. Her private dances were $35 per song. While on stage she, gave me a great lap dance, but I never saw underneath her thong. To sum up, I had a great time with Kassi, but it's doubtful that she would completely satisfy Mini-Me.

While driving down Exchange Ave. At 9th Street, I passed a BSW whom I recognized as the worst "provider" I've ever encountered. It's been a year since I picked her up at that same spot in front of the old condemned motel. She told me her name was Colombia, I believe, although it may have been the name of some other Latin American nation. She was thin and quite young with chocolate brown skin and a pretty face. She seemed friendly until she sat down in the car and we agreed to 60 for FS. It was all downhill for me from there. So being that I was dumb and naive, I let her lead me to a scary alley and we sat there for 5 minutes while she made calls on her cell phone. She completely ignored me as I implored her to get the action started. Finally, she told me that it's not safe here and I became her chauffeur as she directed me to several houses at which she made some transactions. At this point, I told her that she can keep the money, but that she needs to get out of my car. She just ignored me. She seemed somewhat coked out and I was feeling rather timid, so I didn't feel comfortable trying to force her out of the car. After that, she directed me to McDonald's, where I bought $20 worth of food for her and her peeps. A scary looking man came up to the car and grabbed the food. A couple of minutes later, she exited my car and said with a laugh, "I tricked you, honky." So I was out $80, but at least I didn't suffer any damage to my person or my property. Needless to say, unless you feel some rapport with this pretty, skinny, deceitful BSW, I'd advise you to avoid her like the plague.

Evidently, she doesn't remember me because she hollers at me and tries to wave me down every time. I just drive past her and shake my head. This is one of those girls that needs to get the same treatment Crystal got a few months ago by one of the guys posting here. He drove her out a long ways and dumped her out where she would have to walk back at least till she got to a phone. As for me, I have had that type of situation one time. After the first stop I told her to get out but she wouldn't and tried to direct me somewhere else. I got out on 55 and started driving. She asked me what I was doing and told her that since she wouldn't get out, I was going to the Fairmont police station. She got really upset then and begged me to let her out. I said okay, and pulled over on 55 and left her there. Don't be afraid to get angry and do something, these girls don't really want trouble. If you show you are timid, then they will take advantage of you.

Several posts ago, I mentioned an awful experience of mine in which I had picked up a svelte BSW and was completely ripped off. I'm still learning the lingo of the monger, but I believe that you could call her a barracuda. I passed by her the other day on her usual stroll, which is Exchange Ave. Near 9th Street. Without picking her up, I asked her name, which she said to be Maya. I got a good look at her as well. She has light brown skin and a pretty face with a couple of large scars underneath her left eye. She's about 5'6" and 100 pounds (very thin). She looks very young and very sweet, but her looks are very deceiving. It's interesting that I then saw the WSW Red about a block down. I'm not a big fan of her, but at least she's no barracuda. I gave her a few bucks just to tell me a bit about Maya. She told me that she knows that thieving BSW as Lala (like the tellatubby). She also said that she's heard from many different mongers that Lala (or Maya) is a notorious barracuda. She'll ask you for lots of money up front and then keep lower it step by step until you agree to something. She'll promise you everything, including A-level. She'll tell you that she needs the money up front for your own safety (hah! ) and then she'll ditch you as soon as possible. She'll try and direct you to a place where she has a group of burly male acquaintances. Indeed, with the way that this girl lies and manipulates, I see her as a genuine psychopath. Even a crack addict can have a conscience, can't she?
If anyone would like to play a prank on this BSW, be my guest. I don't condone or endorse violence, but a practical joke would be nice. Just be sure to confirm that you have identified the right girl. To review, key characteristics of "Maya's" physical appearance include slight build (size 0? ), scars beneath left eye, light brown skin, youthful appearance (about 20 years old). She can normally be found near the intersection of Exchange Ave. And 9th St. Between 4 PM and 9 PM, I believe. When she gets into your car, she will put your hand on her crotch and then grab yours. When you start to talk business, she'll offer you mouth, p****, and a** for $$ or so, but you can talk her down to 50 or so. She will probably try to take you to the Royal Inn motel on 9th Street, where she will ask for all of the money up front and tell you to wait in the car while she gets the room. If you ask her why she needs the full payment up front instead of just enough to get the room, she'll tell you that the money is safer with her because the people hanging around outside the motel will rob you, but not her. If you allow her to, she'll run off there. If you stay with her and leave the motel, she'll keep insisting on her money and refuse to get out of your car. If you give in and give her the money, she'll direct you to drive up to a crack house and she'll get out and be gone. I have never tried to physically force her out of my car. I have no doubt that I'm strong enough to do it as she is as thin as a toothpick and I weigh 200 pounds. However, this girl has a reputation for being mean and very well might pull a sharp object on you. I've heard that the scars beneath her eye are from a fight with knives and broken wine bottles. So if you ever pick her up, I would suggest patting her down and checking her purse during the LE check.
That's enough of my rambling. I just wanted to keep my mongering brothers from getting ripped off or getting into a costly fight with Mayacuda (Maya the Barricuda).

It is kind of hard to judge someone if maybe she lived on the streets for a long time she is going to do what she knows which is play people. I was confused because in your first post on her you said you recognized her as the worst provider you have ever had, so why then did you pick her up again?? I know you said you are new so another piece of advice would be never let her dictate where you go. The other post where he got on the highway would be enough of a threat without saying you are going to the police. The minute she is out of her element they start to freak, but your best bet is just stay away from ones you know to be bad and stick with ones that have done you right, just my two cents, and whether anyone will say it or not, we've all got played at one time or another. Talk about a blast from the past. I just happened to make a loop down 9th st. last night on my way to Roxy's. I caught up with a pickup at Exchange and 9th, and see a blonde get out. I pull up to the stop sign, and check her out. It was Patti. She's been gone for over a year, living in Springfield, IL. I hadn't seen her for at least a year and a half. She looks the same. About 5'1", 100lbs, A cups, staight blonde hair, 39 year old. We went back to her room in Caseyville, and got reaquinted. She can be the sweetest girl, and then turn on you. She's great for a good fuck, but you don't want to get emotionally involved. I've learned this the hard way. She has a love affair with her pipe. Hopefully she can kick it someday.
Earlier in the evening, around 7pm, there was a blonde in a yellow sun dress west of 9th and Exchange. Did anyone see her, and recognize her? I only saw her once, and when I circled back around she had hopped into a big rig.

Being that my memory often isn't so great, I wanted to make sure that the girl that I've been seeing around 9th and Exchange as of late is in fact that same one that ripped me off last year. I didn't want to take any sort of chance of badmouthing a decent provider due to errors in my memory. In fact, when she got into my car the second time, I wasn't completely sure that it was her. You see, the first time I picked her up, it was well after dark and I didn't notice the distinctive scars beneath the left eye. Also, she seemed so friendly the second time that she did gain my confidence. It was only after I was in too deep that I was absolutely sure that she was the same barracuda that bit me in Nov. 2008.
As an addendum, I'd also like to say that I haven't been impressed lately with any of the regular girls that hang out around 9th and Exchange. Does anyone know any good ones (names and/or descriptions)?

One of the reasons why good providers are leaving the area is because of predators that take the girl's money or because of Barricuda's like La La who beat them up. The prettiest girls mostly all have scars now because of La La. This is the main reason why I do not date her. She does provide good service when she feels she has to. There is a lot of good to be said for a very attractive BSW, and a lot of bad to be said for a Barricuda.

There are SW's on Kingshighway and Forest and Kingshighway and Bunkum in WP. May be a little safer for all concerned. However, it may be riskier. There is a LE office on Forest st. right where the SW stroll. Anyone have any reports?

Have seen a few girls out too but was never sure if they were civilians or SW. For the most part don’t have that problem @ 9th & Exchange area.
I wonder when Theeb 32 has been out looking? I’d hardly call the ESL stroll dead this summer. Maybe limited acceptable choices but hardly dead from around 7pm to midnight.

It seems pretty obvious that the police in WP probably have other issues on their plates given there is no secret what goes on in CMowes, Blondies and Dollies. There has been a chick that openly operates in the hotel across from Miss Kitty's so I doubt they bust SW's, but I could be wrong.
I do my strolls between 9 am- 3 pm, and for the last 6 weeks the hunting has not been great.
I have always assumed that the enforcement for liquor and business licenses are in WP and the surrounding cities are more about tax revenue than enforcing the morality issues. These cities seem to have no other income source except some industrial sites.
It's pretty obvious that some time ago city officials decided to concentrate resources on violent crimes and property crimes. I have seen a WP cruiser drive right past a young WSW standing across the street from Blondie's.
There is likely some kind of unwritten rule about not letting anything go too far. It would be bad for everyone if the local TV ran video of guys getting blown at the main stage. (Okay, some people would start stopping by more often). But, the state would be in there in full force closing places down.
I think they enforce Exchange so heavy since all the money that changes hands there goes for drugs.

I have not seen anything worth a second glance in over 3 weeks. I even went down to Brooklyn and nothing there either, but then again there has been nothing there in a long long time. Have to wonder where everyone is?

I haven't seen much worth mentioning in ESL strolls either. However, I have seen DeeDee, the cop impersonator, on 9th Street. I believe that she's about 5'2", white, long face, blue eyes, light brown frizzy hair. She's the one that will tell you that she's wearing a wire and that you're under arrest, but that she'll let you off with a warning. Then she'll try to take the rest of your cash when she asks for your driver's license and proof of insurance. She'll also ask you to clear your pockets and she'll want to see inside of your glove box. I've seen her off and on in the area for several years now.
She confidently spits out regulations and statistics. She seems quite convincing, but she certainly is a scammer, albeit a clever and entertaining one. From what I know, LE doesn't operate like she does. For one thing, she gets into your vehicle and insists on directing you to a sight of her choosing. From what I've seen and heard, LE normally won't hop into your car for the safety of the undercover.

Hit the area for the first time this weekend about 6:30 pm on Friday, and it was deader than the proverbial doorknob. Only living things I saw out were the usual eclectic collection of people in front of Dewey's, including one black woman who might have been selling, not sure, didn't care, looked like a very rough TS. Oh, there WAS one other living creature (besides the occasional monger) out, an old "friend" of ours, Ashley, aka Shorty A. It was dead, I was bored, so I decided wtf and picked her up.
Now any of you who've read about our earlier encounter with her and her BFF Crystal (Red) might wonder why I'd do this. Well, it was a big head/little head argument that the little head won. I've got a weakness for the young stuff, esp. if she looks younger than she actually is, which used to be the case with the bad Ashley. Not so much any more, instead of looking like early 20s who might be younger, she's now looking much rougher, more like a vaguely youthful 30, if you get my drift.
In any case, we negotiated .2 for a BBBJ and went to a nearby hovel which was surprisingly clean (about a 5 on the shithole scale) and got down to business on a futon in what was apparently the "library" of the place. The doctor who delivered her most recent baby should have taken an extra stitch or two in that snatch as well, girl isn't nearly as snug as she once was. I could have been mean and reminded her that a sting operation would probably use women someone might actually like to have sex with, but she was entertaining enough that I let it slide. She rattled off some shite about 80% of the girls on the stroll having AIDS and the other 20% being men, so I reminded her that 85% of all statistics are made up on the spot. All in all it was a hilarious but appallingly sad encounter and I dropped her off finally and drove away pleased at least that I'd met yet another of the local characters that gives this stroll its, shall we say, ambiance. On my next pass I had another monger following me who picked her up after I passed her by. I was trying to telepathically warn him not to, but it didn't work. Hope she didn't scam you bro, if you're reading this. We need some kind of monger signal to warn others about the bad ones in situations like that. I considered stopping and screaming "Don't do it!" but thought better of it. If you accidently pick her up, call her on her bluff fast guys, seems to throw her off her game.

I didn't make it back to the stroll Saturday afternoon, hell, after two enervating sessions with "Phoenix" we didn't even get out of bed 'til 7 pm and planned to hit the Colony, which didn't leave much time for a SW appetizer.

Investigators say they've made an arrest in the weekend killing of a Missouri man whose body was found in a motel room in southwestern Illinois.
Authorities aren't yet identifying the suspect in the shooting death of 33-year-old Octavio Contreras of Rolla, Mo., until expected charges are filed.
Jeff Connor of the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis says Contreras' body was found Sunday at the Royal Relax Inn in Fairmont City in St. Clair County.
Connor says Contreras was a concrete worker who was visiting a friend in the area.

BROOKLYN, Ill. (AP) -- A shootout in the parking lot of a southern Illinois strip club has left one man wounded and five in jail.
Brooklyn police Chief Delbert Marion says the shooting happened early Saturday outside the Bottoms Up Nightclub.
One man was shot and wounded and was transported to an area hospital. Police have not released his condition.
Five people were jailed after the incident, but the shooter who wounded the man was not among them. He is said to have fled the scene, and officers are searching for him.
No other information was immediately available.

I had a dream I was in the hood last Friday night cruising around for several hours checking out the scenery. I don't dream much anymore so I didn't know most of the girls names. I'll stick my two cents in for what it is worth. I do not do BSW. It's not a racial thing. The pic is at least 3+ years old, but you get the idea, a hot little white spinner that doesn't care about skin color, since she was open to gettin freaky in back with my big dark snake, and for a little white gal did a tremendous job for very low rate on two different occasions that I visited, best bet is during daytime shift, they are slow as can be and if one of the women says $80 for what you suggest, try cutting it in half on the counter, it has worked twice and only skin color they care about is the green that is in your wallet, no prejudice from these women is a nice thing for a change.

Had a little time to kill Mon eve around 6, while waiting for an appointment. So I cruised up Rt 3 and saw nothing by the tanker area went towards the clubs and saw a wsw with a red streak in her hair that didn't look bad. Not sure who she is. My question is does anyone feels if all this construction will eventually kill this stroll?

I noticed a big decline in quality & quanity of talent when I was in town in January. I thought it was due to the cold wet weather. I am coming back in July and will see it is better or worse.

I have to agree with all the recent posts stating that the STROLL is dead. The only thing you see out there these days is the same old girls. Ones that you have maybe dated but never would again. One spinner a BSW, very cute looking but she is a rip-off artist. Oh, and Crystal you see quite often, but I would never date her again, even though she is the best looking out there. Oh how I long for the days when Jennifer, Laura (Lazy), good Ashley, Miranda and a few others could be found on a regular basis. I have also seen Patti (tall thin long haired blonde from Tennesse) out and about a couple of times lately, but again she is one that I won't ever date again. My opinion is if they screw you over the first time, never again. If you have seen them several times and you were satisfied, but they screw up, give them another chance. But never let them screw up a third time. Just my humble opinion.
Talked to one of the locals on the east side today. He said that last week the white house on either Walter or Water street got busted. I saw it myself about 6 police cars and numerous LE all over the house. He then said that not only the East St. Louis Police and the State Police are patrolling the area. Some of the workers in the green safety vests are undercover cops. They are stopping any cars that come through there on a regular bases and asking all kinds of questions. If you have noticed there is major construction going on in the area. I believe a new highway is going to built that would go over or around that area. I trust this guy so be careful.

Took in three suspects during its outing

WASHINGTON PARK -- While working on a warm Thursday afternoon, agents with a special detail that is operating to take guns and drugs off the street nabbed a convicted felon with a gun and two suspects wearing bullet-proof vests.
The group is called WAVE -- Working Against Violent Elements.
Police did not release the names the suspects because charges are pending.
Joe Beliveau, commander of the Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southern Illinois, said the suspect with the gun was released from prison three weeks ago.
One suspect remains at large.
As officers patrolled north 57th Street, five men who were standing outside a car parked on the side of the house at 668 N. 57th St., took off running in different directions. Police in cars and on foot pursued the fleeing suspects and four of them were captured.
As the suspect with the gun ran from police, he tried to throw something from his waistband and fell to the ground. Then a weapon fell out. The suspect grabbed the weapon and threw it under an air conditioner at a church.
Beliveau continued to chase the suspect. After he caught up to him and attempted to handcuff him, the suspect resisted. Beliveau used pepper spray to gain control of the suspect.
Also, while WAVE members were patrolling, they arrested a man who is an active member of the military reserve. He had about 8 milligrams of marijuana on him when he was approached at gas station on Kingshighway. The suspect was given a notice to appear in court, Beliveau said.
At a grocery store at 47th Street and Caseyville Avenue, two individuals were arrested for outstanding warrants.
Members of the special detail received tips from the community while they worked. One such tip led them to a home in the 700 block of 38th Street. Someone at the residence signed a consent to search for police to search the residence.
They did not find anything.
Beliveau said he and the other participating agencies that include the Secret Service, the U.S. Marshals Service, the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department, the Illinois State Police and the FBI are "thankful to the community for stepping up."
The goal, Beliveau said is to make every neighborhood a safe place for residents.
Mayor Alvin L. Parks Jr. said he is thankful to WAVE for working in concert with the East St. Louis Police Department to make the city safer. He said it takes aggressive, proactive policing like what happened Thursday to make the community better.
The WAVE unit began working in November in East St. Louis and surrounding communities.

Un-fucking-believable. Hopefully the big layoffs coming to the ISP will thin out the LE presence in this area

Was planning a trip to St Louis area. One of my regular stops is to Brooklyn and the strip clubs. Is there any truth to the rumor that the Slip has closed down or on a down swing in quality providers?
Please advise since that is one of the highlights of my almost annual trip.
Today while driving down 9th street at the four way stop. Out of no where 2 state police cars and the biggest SUV come out of no where and surround my car. I started to drive away the black SUV is on my tail and on his window is a very big State Police sticker. One patrol car is behind the SUV and the other car is right next to me. I am thinking shit they are going to stop me and ask a bunch of questions because I go through that area every day on the way home. Friday night, around 11:30, Shannon and Jenna were working the wash rack. I picked up Jenna, and proceded to Wash. Park. She wanted $1., but quickly negotiated down to $.4 for half and half. In the room, she quickly went to work. BBBJ was ok at best. Covered up for CG, then mish. Finished with her licking my sack. She refused to let me CIM. Dropped her off at the Royal Inn. Never a lack of Ass in the place and if you can make it there late on Monday nites the Amatuer contest is well worth the price of admission, and your likely to find a date or two after or in future as well.

Talked to my friend today. He said on Wednesday night the police were posing as johns and took about 80% of the girls off the streets. Went through today and again police were all over the place. I even saw some police cars from other counties patrolling the area. They must be using that little white house on Walter street as a staging area. I always see LEO cars parked in front of it.I saw a new girl today. long brown hair and pretty face, average build. Since I have never seen her before I did not stop. Be safe.

What follows is the story of my first experience with a SW. I've had other pre-arranged meetings with providers, but this is my first with a SW. My narrative may seem long, but I'm writing this as much for myself as for you guys. I think it's a funny story, in a sad, pathetic way. And if it bores you, feel free to skip it.
I'll be the first to admit that I am a naive rookie. In fact, before a few weeks ago, I would not have been able to identify a SW if she had walked up to me wearing hooker heals, grabbed my member, and asked for money. But reading this board and others like it has had my curiosity up, and since I was visiting the area yesterday, I decided to see what was what.
I studied the Wash Rack map, read the rules again to make sure I knew what was what, and immediately decided to take a nap.
I dreamed that I headed out to 9th street just before sundown. Within a block I saw a thin, light skinned BSW, very pretty, very young, but nervous looking. On the plus side, she had what looked like a nice tight butt, and a little cleavage. Probably a B-cup.
Also, there was some kind of LE SUV, completely marked, within a block. So I went around the block and circled back. The SUV was gone, and I stopped on a side street. She immediately walked up and got in my car without any dialogue. I was fully prepared with something like: Hey, this neighborhood isn't safe, do you need a ride somewhere, etc. But nothing. She just hopped in. I thought, ironically, wow, this girl is very naive and trusting. Ironic because I think the opposite was true.
She looked young, but it's hard to say. Everyone under 30 looks young to me. She had some ink on her hand and between her shoulder blades, so I figured she must have at least been able to convince a tattoo artist of her legal age, right? Anyway, she was in my car now and she didn't initiate a dialog, and I was a little confused.
I had read about cop-checking. She did nothing and said nothing to try to determine if I was safe. Maybe she could tell by my piece of junk car and my manly (overweight and over 40) physique that I was not. Anyway, I asked where I ought to go, and she said she had a room, turn left ahead.
I remembered the rules. And then thought, well, if her room is where I think it is, I remember that someone on this board (Longone?) had said that the Royal Inn can be a good place, and I thought that if she already had a room, I might save myself some trouble and have a little to tip her with if things went well. I had never been to the Royal Inn, but I had seen it on Google Maps. I drove up and wow, it's quite the scary place.
About here is where my good home training and mild-mannered naivete caught up with me. We agreed on. 6 (yeah, I know, stupid), and she promised CFS with MSOG and so I thought maybe that would be a decent value since I wasn't paying for a room.
Then she said she needed the money up front to pay to let me in. I was confused about that. It seemed to me that I've never had to pay to bring people (friends, family, company) to any hotel room, but maybe this was different. I balked and said, "Let me show you the money, so that you know I have it, but I'm not giving you any money until after. "
Of course, I'm a polite person and was not sure how to react when she grabbed the money out of my hand and handed me a room key, telling me to go down to room ### and wait. She then knocked on the door marked "private" and hollered at someone with a middle-eastern name and accent to let her in. She was in there about 30 seconds and came down the hallway. I had already opened the door to her room, but I did not go in because I was unsure of my surroundings and no longer trusted her.
I should have just left, right? But I was too fascinated by my own stupidity. And I wanted to see what happened next. She looked at me standing in the hallway, rolled her eyes, and as she entered her room she said, "Why you standing there? Get in here. "
I entered what can only be described as a post-Katrina war-zone. Clothes, strewn across the floor. A table with TV on it. Take out trash and day old meal remnants on the table. The only thing to sit on was a bed. A broken mirror on the floor next to the wall. I don't think I can fully describe it, and members of this forum probably are not interested at this point. But it was a real dump.
She asked me to turn on the radio on the side table next to her bed. While I did that, she was messing with stuff in her purse. She pulled out what looked to me (innocent and stupid) like a broken bic pen, with the insides missing, just the clear plastic tuB. It looked like the ink had exploded inside one end of it because it was all black. She also pulled out two cigarette lighters and a screwdriver (I still haven't quite figured out what the screwdriver is for). I said, "What's all that for? "
She gave me that look that teenagers give their parents when they ask some stupid question like, "How was your day, sweetie? " or "Was that Jimmy on the phone? " That look that says, "You're too much of an idiot for me to answer you so instead I'm just going to make this face at you. "
Then she stuck one end of the glass tube (for by now it was starting to dawn on me just what all this paraphernalia was) into her mouth and heated the other end with the cigarette lighters. She took a drag on it and then blew out (away from my face, thank God) an ugly smoke. I said, "Hey, you know what? I'm not really comfortable with all this. Maybe I'll just leave. Thank you for a nice time. "
She said, "Hey, don't worry. I'm totally legal. Nothing you do with me here will get you in trouble of any kind. " I think she thought, by this point, that I was nervous about her age. I said, "No, it's all that stuff you go there. " She said, "What, you don't get high? " I said, "No, not really. " She said, "Well, it's not bad. Do you want to try it? " I said, "No, thanks, that's very kind of you. "
I again tried to take my leave politely, and she said, "Hey, just wait a minute, I'll put this away, no problem, just give me a second. " I thought, "Oh, well, if she's just now realizing that I'm not into the whole crack-cocaine thing, maybe things are about to change. And she is certainly a pretty girl. "
She said, "First, let me give you my number. " After not being able to find anything to write on, I offered, "Why don't I type it into my phone. " I pulled my phone out (a cheap, throw away, hobby phone), and she grabbed it and typed in the number. After a few seconds went by, she was still fooling with the phone. I didn't want to be rude, so I asked, "Is something not working? " She gave me that look again, and kept hitting buttons. I heard the ring tones change several times. Then I heard some beeps and clicks I was unfamiliar with, and when a few minutes had passed, (yes, I know, I'm an idiot because I did not simply say, "Hey, give me back my damn phone"), she handed me my phone and said, "Do you know how to solve this Sudoko thing? "
I wanted to laugh but I was afraid it would piss her off. I said, "Well, I've got to get going. " She said, "Wait just a minute, hang on. "
She got up, walked to the other end of the room, and looked like she was going to put the stuff away, but then stuck the damn thing in her mouth again, lit up, sucked on it, blew it out, and then wrapped it all up in a napkin and sat down again on the bed. Then she pulled out a deck of cards and said, "Let's play strip gin-rummy for a dollar hand. " I wasn't even sure what the hell that meant, but maybe this could be fun. We played two hands, both of which I won. She gave me a dollar each time, and then got up and stripped down to her bikini underthings. She tossed what she was wearing on the floor. I thought, "Wow, she's really hot. " And truly she was.
And then she started rummaging through the stuff on the floor, checking to see what was passably clean enough, and what was not, sorting various stripper clothes and street clothes. And then she started putting clothes on. Several layers of clothes.
This really was not going in the direction I had hoped.
She said she had to go to work at Cheeks later, but that maybe she didn't feel like going in, she wasn't sure. I saw my chance. "Hey, as long as I'm leaving, why don't I drop you off there. "
Why didn't I just get up and leave? Why didn't I just say, "Well, good luck with that" and get out. I don't know.
Another 30 minutes went by while she got ready, and then we went back to my car. It was past 9pm by now, and dark out, and I couldn't really see all the potholes on the street. I started to drive her towards the Interstate, and she asked if I could pull into the Mobile station at MLK and Collinsville. She looked like she wanted to get out, which would have been fine with me. Then she said, "Hey, just take me back to the motel. " I was fine with that, too. As we went down the street, she pulled out her little pipe again, and I said, "No, no, no way! " She said, "I wouldn't do that in your car, I'm just getting it ready. Geez! " The she asked me if I had five dollars she could borrow. I said, "Nope. " And by this time I was at the door and she got out.
I drove away with a sticky, gross feeling all over, even though I hadn't even touched her.
I don't think I have the temperament for the kind of negotiating required to make a SW deal work. But if I ever try again, I will follow the damn rules. All of them.
Steelcityboy, its sounds like you were at the Royal Inn alright. STAY AWAY! That place can be dangerous and guys have gotten ripped off there.
If you would have went EAST on Collinsville Road to Fairmont City, you would have come to the Royal BUDGET Inn. That is a safe place to go with cheap hourly rates and decently clean rooms. Either that or take the girl to the Econo Inn just across the road from Miss Kitties in Washington Park.

From this site I learned to play dum and not talk much I told them I'm lost and looking for PT'S brooklyn, one of the cops calls me a lier and has me get out of my car, I leave my door open, I got nothin to hide. He says he's been watching me drive around and I must be looking for drugs or girls and insists I admitt it, he threatens to tow my vehicle, I stick with I'm lost please point me the way out of here. After about 10 min of trying to make me admitt I was lookin for dope or girls he gives me my license back and tells me if he see's me again he'll take me in for questioning and have my vehicle towed. I jump in and I'm outa there. BE CARFULL THERE I don't know what could have happend if would have been talking to a girl or had a beer in my car. SCARY SH.T

Dude that happened to me in chicago. Why, because I was a white guy in a non white neighborhood after dark. The cops said as much. What is a guy from up north doing in a neighborhood like this after dark, it's either drugs or women, admit it. Then they toss my car. For as dead as this forum has been lately I was surprised to see how many girls were on the stroll this afternoon and evening. Besides the same old faces there were a few decent looking ones both white & black I hadn’t seen before. But I don’t get out much so take that for what it’s worth. There was a little brunette in particular I first saw after dark sitting on the steps of that little sandwich shop. I seen elsguy58 report on a couple of new faces in the area so I thought I would check it out. The police chief knows exactly what they are doing on the streets and I am sure most of the tactics were taught to them by seasoned cops. You are lucky they could have done anything to you seeing as you were alone, they could have pistol whipped you and you would have absolutely no recourse, who is a judge going to believe 2 cops or someone obviously on the wrong side of town? Portland and East St. Louis are 2 VERY different communities. You can complain all you want, to whoever you want, and call it whatever you want, but LEO in East St. Louis won't change their methods. While it may not be a crime, it does raise suspicion of LEO, and that is a bad idea if you are in the area for the wrong reason.

Sir, you are correct that it is not a crime to drive around east st louis at 9th and Exchange. This is however a high crime area. The police can stop you for ANY traffic violation no matter how minor or trivial. (Examples: No seat belt, crack in your window, didn't use turn signal when changing lanes). Everyone violates the traffic code everytime they drive in some small way.
Because you are in a high crime area the PoPo can question you about your goings on. They can even harass you. That is not improper. Their intent is to dissuade further criminal activity. The city, police commissioners and even the chief of police encourage and instruct their officers to act in this manner. SURPRISE: The police and citizens of e. St. Louis don't want us driving around their city looking for HOs and they don't want Hos walking their streets. It is common sense.
If you do get stopped remain calm and keep your wits about you. Be polite. Do not lose your cool. The PoPo may threaten you with arrest or that they will get a warrant. DO NOT consent to a search of your vehicle ever. Never ever confess to a crime. And for god's sake do not go and complain to the chief of police.

Trust us on this my friend; no good will come from bringing attention to yourself and the hobby. Since these reports of heat in the hood started I’ve stayed on the main streets like 9th & St. Clair Ave. it’s much easier to explain driving thru on them if you need to. With a little patience the results will be the same as roaming the side streets.

Prostitutes are honest women trying to earn some cash and they deserve kindness and respect regardless of what the Law says about their profession. I drove the CR and Exchange area a couple times on Saturday night around 10 pm. On the first pass I saw a blonde, fairly tall and of healthy weight, but not fat WSW. She was wearing a teal colored dress that would normally have been seen in a strip club. Anyways, on the first pass if I would have stopped a five oh was coming up the street and would have been right there, so I kept on driving. I was watching in my rear view to see if the five oh would stop and harass the girl, but he didn't. So I cruised down past club 64 and looped around PT's crookland before heading back. The same WSW was there on the second pass, and another five oh was rolling up the street as I passed her. The second five oh stopped to "talk" to her. I was not dig'n the LE scene on the east side so I decided to head back to the SS stroll.
There was enough LEO around Sunday night about 10:00pm to take the fun out of it also. Don’t know if they are on one of their enhanced enforcement kicks or was just dumb luck. Guess time will tell.

With all of the cleanup work as well as the demolition work going on in "our" area is this going impact the girls at all?
I also had a crazy run-in with Ashley last Friday. I seen her in the darkness and she was looking pretty good I must say. I pulled up to her and it looked like she put on some lbs and did not have that crack hoe look to her. She was well dressed and talked in a way that made me think she had her act cleaned up. I let her in and we made a little deal $100 for the rest of the night. She said get a room and we can hang out and do whatever until I was done she just needed to be back by 8 or 9 am.
She said if she was going to be gone all night she needed to pick a few things up first. Her few things she needed was rock, and some more rock. So, it all started to go down hill from there. Usually, I do not want to have anything to do with drugs. If you have a working girl with you when getting pulled over is bad all in its self but if you add drugs to the mix its never a good thing. But she was looking good and the little head was doing the thinking. So we started down the side streets off of CR (this is another area I usually don't go in. I try to stay on CR or Exc) She had me pull over to some guy in the weeds to buy some rock. She asked for a $20 advance on her $100. Sure why not. She talked to the guy in the weeds for about 5 min then wanted a "sample" of his product and if she liked it she would spend $20 with him. She took the sample and told me to go. So the guy in the weeds was now yelling crazy things at us because she took a free sample. As crazy as that was she pulled that same thing 2 more times with other guys.
After about 30min of this crazyness I told her to just get out and she can do this on her own. Keep the $20 and just go. Well then she started this show about how she did not want me to be mad and so on. I told her I was not mad JUST GET OUT! She did not want to go, so like you guys have always say if they won't get out take them for a ride. So that is what I did. I pulled out on CR and headed to Fairmount. She started to freak out and told me that we would get pulled over in Fairmount if we were seen. I told her I did not care we were going anyway. Well then she wanted out. I let her out half way to Fairmount and let the skank walk. So I am out $20 (no big deal) out my time, and had a crazy exp. On the side roads off of CR. What a night.
So, a long story just to say you guys can keep "good" Ashley. I thought she had her act cleaned up.

Sounds like there are waaaaay too many broads out there who make me hate my own gender, though I'm sure there are fellas that do it, also. What an idiot thing to pull. I honestly have no sympathy for girls who have hard addictions, because I pulled myself out of that particular gutter (H, not rock) long ago, and cold-turkey, to boot. Sucks you fellas have to deal with that crap. BTW, not promoting or showboating, just trying to say that it's broads like that that f^ck it up for the rest of us. Have fun out there.

Did a drive through the hood on the way to Brooklyn last night. About 10:30 I saw a WSW on Lynch in the shadows. Go around the block, and it was Patty. She's been around off and on for a couple years. 30 something, petite blond. I wasn't in the mood for her BS. Basically exchanged pleasantries and moved on. She said she's still living in Springfield, IL. No phone. I had some good times with her, and some bad times. Just not interested anymore. She's in love with the pipe.

Saturday night about 3:30am, 2 of Fairmont Cities finest had a guy in a pickup stopped on 1st St. beside the wash rack. One was talking to the driver at the back of the pickup. The other was talking to his passanger. Not good at all.

Took a cruise thru the was rack yesterday, only 1 available, around 11:30 a.m.
Tall dark haired, mid 40's. Was afraid to pick her up, looked like she would stink up the car, lol.
Did a morning cruise a few days ago through CR, Exchange, Rt 3, etc. Nothing. Hit the side streets around 11 AM and was coming up Lynch from Haymore's when I see a brunette WSW walking ahead of me. My view is of her backside: Daisy Dukes, tight tank top, ball cap. Looking pretty good. Not skinny but certainly not chubby either. Then I drive past her and look back to see her face and she has a large red abrasion or something on her left cheek. Also she did not even look up at me, so I decided to just keep going. Anybody have an idea who she might be?

That's what I hate about shopping in the summer, especially during the day.

Had a dream, about 3pm, long time have not checked exchange-9th-etc . I only saw a BSW old and not good looking at all on Winstanley&N11th. On exchange&3rd I saw a WSW walking with a back guy (bf-pimp?). Turned around and pick her up. We did LE check, conversation she behaved some weird, and directed me around (Exchange-9th-StClair-1st and back to pick up place). I decided to quit. Told her I would give her 5 for her time. I stopped 50m before the bf as I do not want her involve the bf. She took the 5 but requested 10, I denied, and asked to leave the car. She started the silly game of not leaving the car. A car was coming and I U-turned blocking the road (I did not want to be the only car-person in that area with that girl and friends around), she saw I was determined and she left and kind of slammed the door and said many things. I just left happy it was not worse. The girl called herself Cakie (not sure spelling), short, 5’2” approx, brown-redish hair, not fat but not tiny, age 25-35 can not tell since maybe smoke make them older.
I would never try her again.

Some people have been posting in the "Streetwalker Reports" thread. Which I guess is where they should be posting. However the last report there was three months ago. With winter it is understandable that the cruise reports would be scarce.
There is not much going on over on in Brooklyn for walkers. Po po has been beefed up and construction has killed it. I did see one about three weeks ago as I was leaving Roxy's. She asked for a cig and I told her I did have one. She then asked if there was anything else I could give her. I was already headed to see another girl so I said not today. There is some action over in WP. You might also have some luck in Sauget late on a weekend.

I still drive through from time to time and there still is action from time to time. But the police are on some kind of mission and I've seen them pop out all over the place. They already successfully shut down the hill neighborhood across the highway and they're doing their dam best to shut down 9th to 15th streets. But they aren't out there 24/7 and there is still action from time to time. But more often then not it's the worst of the worst. Nothing like years ago when good one's would pop up on any given night

Reposted from STL's SW thread. About a week ago, there were three girls working Madison, which is just a few minutes north of the Brooklyn club scene. At 6 p. M, two WSWs and one BSW between the rail yard bridge (on the south) and the big, blue steel factory in Granite City (on the north) , a span of about a mile. Most of that is in the town also called Madison, some of it was in Granite City. One WSW near the plant, in particular, caused me a drive-back, but I was seriously running late for an appointment in GC. So I couldn't stop, but definitely would've otherwise. I'll be back around there, as the incident reminded me that I've seen isolated girls walking this zone in the past. If anyone's aware of Madison / GC policies on these matters, feel free to add.

There's a new building going up on the footprint of what I think was called Brooklyn Books at the time it burned down, maybe a year or more back. (Correct me, if wrong, as there were a few different bookstores in / near Brooklyn that've burned. This is on the lot immediately behind the pile of rubbish formerly known as Fantasyland. Asked around at Roxy's and PT's Brooklyn and, of course, no one had a lead on what it might be. Considering the town, it's either an adult club or a church, I'd figure.

Drove into the town yesterday (wonder why?) and that new building had just fallen over in the wind storm. The entire roof was intact, but had collapsed down on the framed-out walls. Several workers were there, some taking pictures. Thought of stopping and asking, but didn't. It was something to see. Of course, the workers in the main local trades still didn't know what the place was, whether a church or adult bookstore.

My guess is that it will be rebuilt as another adult bookstore. If the old bookstore building that burnt was insured, they usually have to rebuild instead of just taking an insurance settlement. Also with the new Missouri law forcing adult businesses on west side of the river to close at midnight the owners of the Brooklyn bookstore might be hoping to capture new business. Not sure what all was going on in the old building, but they usually had cars in the parking lot so they already had some business.
Looks like bookstore is going back up crew woking there Saturday. Seems to be a bit more professional.

I walked into the Pleasure Palace the first week it had opened. The door on the LEFT side is a "gentlemens club". They were just rounding up some talent to work. There are extras on to be had. Haven't been back by. Will report when time permits. Have also seen the girls standing at the door. The door on the right is the bookstore, arcade, whatever you call it.

I have made two trips to Pleasure Palace, one trip was about as good as it gets, the other was a waste of time.
Trip 1- walk though the door, meet a fairly attractive mixed race girl. She gives me a tour of the place and I end up getting oral for point 6. I was in the place a total of 15 minutes and spent a total of point 6. Trip 2- I walk in, sit at a table and have a couple drinks. One black chic was working and I was the only customer, yet she would not acknowledge I was even there. I leave after my two drinks.
Like stated below, the door that faces Rt 3 is the door for the "strip" club. I have not paid any type of cover charge to get in. It's a non-smoking joint and smells nice and new. The bathroom was the cleanest in Brooklyn by far. The drink prices are average for Crookland, I think I was paying about $6-8 for a mixed drink, but it was mixed well with decent alcohol and tasted mighty good. They play porn on some big screens, sports on others. Overall, the place looks nice inside, I'd dig spending more time and money there if they had more girls working. Upstairs are a bunch of small private booths with no doors. There are also a couple of larger private booths with beds, and I was told a jacuzzi room was in the works. The place was extremely dead for customers both times I have been there, and the most women I saw working there was two. To boil it down, it's nice inside, they just need more talent working.
