I'm not defending her because like you, that would have pissed me off. But I've been through it as well, and usually, the excuse that was given to me later was sufficient. But the ones that explained to me what happened usually made it up to me, but that didn't stop me from initially being pissed like you.

She gets hammered if she answers a call or a text while a client is there, and she gets hammered on the board if she doesn't.
It has been my experience that you need to go at a mongering event with at least two different providers in mind. If one doesn't work out, the other may. If both don't work out, don't be pissed about it. The times you are getting out are likely the same times 20 other mongers are looking too. The only providers I would hold you your level of expectation are the ones I have seen more than 5 or 10 times who know me well and have my direct contact info. Otherwise the provider might have been thinking she was doing you a favor by not texting you back since you had already had time to be home with the wife.
Unless you are throwing monster steady money at one, or are paying way over the norm, you don't have any right to expect her to snap to when you call.
Wait in line or pay enough to be the only one in line.

I wanted to post this info in regards to BC. He is in ICU and has been very ill. I know as a long time contributor and valued member of this community he has made many good friends. I am sitting with him now. For those who have his number please don't blow his phone up as his wife is here all day as well. Thought I would post an update he was in great pain most of the day they finally eased that. There has been an up swing. One of the problems is that his kidneys were starting to shut down. The treatment and medicines they have been using have made an improvement. They are working again. Which if this trend continues they will finally be able to start treating the problems that have put him there. Still a long way to go but a glimmer of hope none the less.

BC not doing well at all. Was there today with his wife and the doctor came in. His situation is very touch and go. The doctor said he could go at anytime. But still said there was a chance. Long term prognosis even if he gets past this is not good.

I am deeply saddened by this as well. I never have had the pleasure of meeting him in person but though it has been a while, I have spoke with him several times on the phone, and always came away with the feeling that he genuinely wanted to help people, the girls and the guys alike, and of course have his share of fun in the process. As for me, I'm praying that the end will come sooner rather than later so he can be spared any more suffering. There's a lot to be said for quality of life. Does anybody know what I can do with this big lump I've kept in my throat for the past few days?
Ladies, please take note that BC always had your welfare in mind as much as he did for the guys. He always tried to show respect by screening out the bad guys. Please return that respect by not trying to call or text him. Thanks.

I kinda figured and feared this was the case, the last time I spoke to him, about a month ago. He always accepted me with open arms and reached out to me and helped me out when no one would. Charlie was like my board father and I'm deeply saddened by this news.

Just thinking, we're all going to miss BC, but I really feel for the ladies that were in his good graces. I was telling a young lady about him earlier this week, and she was very upset about the news. But like she said, I can't count the times that he helped to pull me out, she knew that whatever guy that came to her from BC was going to be ok, it helped her to keep a roof over her head, eat, and pay her phone bill. And he never asked for anything in return, but she would give him a freebie, as she put it, he deserved it. The thing about him that I'm really going to miss is, that there are several girls that I met, thought that the guys would like them, I would ask them if they were interested in meeting guys, and if the answer was yes, I would take a pic of them, sent it to BC, hook them up, Glockman would work his magic, and then would come the feeding frenzy. Only BC had the connections with the guys to pull this off. No one else was willing to deal with the numerous text and phone calls from ladies and gents.
We have a huge hole in the UTR side of the hobby.
I have to say that I've known BC for 9 years now meeting him shortly after moving to Memphis. We have met every week almost daily for coffee or a weekly lunch or two. I haven't had a friend that I would know I could count on as I always knew I could count on him. Not only in our hobby but on a personal level as well. We met early last week and and I knew from his conversation that everything was not good. All I can say at this time is he is in need of prayers and thoughts. I'm speechless.
He is in hospice care and medicated this morning. His family is coming in to see him today. Several of his friends have inquired how he is doing and we will keep you updated as we know.
I went by the hospital today, to check on BC. Licker was there, as was his family. BC breathing is labored. He is not the BC now that we remember. Just remember how he was. It's funny I can't put into words how I feel now. Guess the best way to say it, is time is not on his side.

As I sat here reading the news about BC, I know that I lost a true friend.
I will miss our Saturday morning breakfast at Bryant's, meeting at Tigers sporting events, lunches at various.
Restaurants with many of the young ladies of Memphis in attendance, and if BC couldn't make the tigers games.
Phone calls talking about how the tigers did and which girls we were going to see after the games.
When I moved back to Memphis five years ago, BC opened his heart and life style to me as he.
Has done for countless others.

To many BC was a gruff ole guy with a big heart. I have gotten numerous calls from him when he wanted to help a girl get her next meal.
He was an honest, fair, and empathetic guy who cared for everyone he came into contact with.
He enjoyed having a good time out here but went out of his way to make sure the girls were safe and kept in risk free situations.
He had a genuine concern for the people who were his friends.
He did everything he could to keep those involved in this hobby doing the right thing by the girls and each other.
Our community lost a founding father, a great friend, and good man today.

Everytime he found a new one, I would get that text to help her out, I even fixed his car when he needed it, I already miss him and I barely got to know him, guess he will never get that waitress at his favorite mexican spot. God speed my new / old friend, you can never be replaced.

I spoke with BC'S wife just a few minutes ago. His wishes were to be buried in his home town in Mississippi. He also requested no service. His daughter is going to take him there to rest. After seeing him this mornig along with Mike it is a relief that the suffering has ended as Mike will attest too. But his wife said he did go peacefully. He was on a morphine drip so he was not suffering nor aware. Should anyone wish a get together in his honor I would support that.

It's hard to come to grips with it. I don't exactly remember when I first met BootyCall. I had been a member of the board for quite a while and had started posting photographs when I got a pm from him asking if I would like to meet for lunch one day. I knew the restaurant he was talking about and we set up a meeting for one morning. He described himself as an old gray fucker. I replied that I was just an old fucker, but we had no problem identifying each other at the restaurant. It was like meeting an old friend that I knew all my life. He asked if I was interested in photographing and posting pictures of some ladies he knew. It took me about a nanosecond to answer. It was the beginning of a long friendship. He later posted on the board that two giants met and had trouble getting in the door with their walkers! I was flattered to be mentioned by BC in a post. We started calling every morning Monday thru Friday around 7:30 am and talked for about a half hour. On Friday and Saturday nights around 10:00 pm when I was sitting outside having a cigar and a glass of wine, I would text him and ask "you awake?" He would usually reply "yep" and we would exchange inane posts back and forth for about an hour. Sunday was the only day we would not have contact with each other. He got put out at me one time, but we were soon calling and texting each other as if nothing happened. He was always ready to help the girls out and to help me out. The photo below is about the only time that I ever helped him out. He mentioned several times that he would like to meet Red Hot Michelle. I knew her pretty well so I treated him to an afternoon with her. After introducing them, I snapped a few photos of BC in action and then left to see Mimi. A couple of hours later, an exhausted BC called me and said what a great time he had. He said that he made an eight by ten photo of this shot and put it up on the wall of his getaway retreat on the lake. Knowing BC, I don't doubt it. He kept the photo in his cell phone but somehow one day he accidently deleted it. He asked me to send him another copy which I gladly did. If anyone else finds it, I hope that they enjoy it as much as me. Damn, I miss him.

I hope that you're already chasing the young ladies in Shangra La, my friend! Let's see, I met Chrissy, little' Melissa, Chelsey, Barbie or her sister, and few others that I can't remember their names via BC, some good ones and a few flakes but he was, as many have said always trying to find new talent and help out the gals who couldn't keep their sh1 t together. I will miss him too and hope that all his friends and his family are relieved that his suffering is over and that it didn't go on interminably.

To find out BC was terminal was devastating. Then before I could get off work to be able to log in, he was gone. I know many people will miss him. I only hope and pray that all those affected will be comforted in the fact that his legacy was that of helping so many.

The photo below is about the only time that I ever helped him out. He mentioned several times that he would like to meet Red Hot Michelle. A couple of hours later, an exhausted BC called me and said what a great time he had. He said that he made an eight by ten photo of this shot and put it up on the wall of his getaway retreat on the lake. Knowing BC, I don't doubt it. He kept the photo in his cell phone but somehow one day he accidently deleted it. He asked me to send him another copy which I gladly did. If anyone else finds it, I hope that they enjoy it as much as me. Damn, I miss him.BC will be missed by many. I regret never making the effort to meet him. I quickly learned I could trust him.
I spoke with BC'S wife just a few minutes ago. His wishes were to be buried in his home town in Mississippi. He also requested no service. His daughter is going to take him there to rest. After seeing him this mornig along with Mike it is a relief that the suffering has ended as Mike will attest too. But his wife said he did go peacefully. He was on a morphine drip so he was not suffering nor aware. Should anyone wish a get together in his honor I would support that.I respect his wishes that no service be held. He had discussed some of his plans with me our last meeting but I tried to dismiss it as I felt he was being premature.
I'm still dismayed at losing one of the closest friends I've known.

It's hard to come to grips with it. I don't exactly remember when I first met BootyCall. I had been a member of the board for quite a while and had started posting photographs when I got a pm from him asking if I would like to meet for lunch one day. I knew the restaurant he was talking about and we set up a meeting for one morning. He described himself as an old gray fucker. I replied that I was just an old fucker, but we had no problem identifying each other at the restaurant. It was like meeting an old friend that I knew all my life. He asked if I was interested in photographing and posting pictures of some ladies he knew. It took me about a nanosecond to answer. It was the beginning of a long friendship. He later posted on the board that two giants met and had trouble getting in the door with their walkers! I was flattered to be mentioned by BC in a post. We started calling every morning Monday thru Friday around 7:30 am and talked for about a half hour. On Friday and Saturday nights around 10:00 pm when I was sitting outside having a cigar and a glass of wine, I would text him and ask "you awake?" He would usually reply "yep" and we would exchange inane posts back and forth for about an hour. Sunday was the only day we would not have contact with each other. He got put out at me one time, but we were soon calling and texting each other as if nothing happened. He was always ready to help the girls out and to help me out. I am very sad. I can not keep the tears from my eyes. I just lost one of my best friends. BC just passed away. God rest his soul.This is such a sad event. There are not many men that have truly made an impression on me over theyears, but BC is one of them. Never asked for anything from anyone, never took anything from anyone. I'm sure as the months and years go by, mongering will continue and those of us that knew him will keep in touch but there will never be another like BC. We should all be honored to have known him.

I don't post often but I found USA while on the net when I lived in Atlanta. Being from Memphis and currently back here now I always admired the comradoray this bored and the members had. I never knew BC but I remember speaking to him on the phone a few times while he attempted to middleman some Viagra sales while I was selling them. Always respectable and honest. Just an all around good guy. Rest in paradise and you'll be missed.

They would go watch the trains or big trucks on the road while Kelly and I were " discussing mommies bills" as she always put it. She trusted him with her own kid and he always loved his time spent with uncle Charlie. When she went off on her federal vacation I know he was heartbroken for her but moreso that he wouldn't get to see the kid anymore.
That always impressed me about him.
Of all the girls he introduced me to I only had one bad experience. I called him up right after and told him about it and was far as I know he cut off all ties with her. He stopped sending guys to her and it wasn't very long before she was begging for another chance.

I took him to lunch at O'Charley's (funny because his name was charlie) and we talked for HOURS to convince him that one girl wasn't worth giving up an entire "career" I never spent sexy time with him but we talked often and he always boosted my ego! LOL. I will miss the HELL out of him and his hilarious posts. I know he will be thought of often by MANY mongers and providers alike! Are. I. P my friend. Bob. Oh Hell I Ate One Too!Very well written. I first met BC when he and I along with a couple other guys met at Olive Garden for our first lunch. Sweet Melissa was kind enough to join us. After that we were friends as if we had known each other for a lifetime. We talked at least 3 or 4 times a week and had lunch together often. One thing I could count on was that he would always flirt with the waitress. He was always cracking me up.
He never had much money and drove those old used cars and that old truck because he was so generous and always giving all he could to help the ones that suffered most. I worked on his vehicles many times trying to keep them patched up so he could get around.
The greatest gift he ever gave me was introducing me to a girl that has proven herself to be the most warm-hearted, loving woman I've ever met. If he had only lived to know that she is now employed and on her way to better days ahead and I plan to be with her every step of the way. What he did for me could have been the last good deed in his time on this earth but it most certainly wasn't the first. The testimonials of my friends here have proven that quite well.
I am not the same without him around and I somehow feel that I will see him again someday.

With each testimonial that I'm reading about BC, it's really sinking in what a loss Charlie is. Not only to the hobby, but to humanity as well. One thing about Charlie that I always respected was that he treated you with respect, color didn't matter to him. There were some of his girls that chose not to visit with AA men, but he never encouraged them not to. He always tried to get them to judge the man, not the color, that's not always the case here. We had a strong enough relationship that we actually shared life experiences concerning this, and neither of us got upset, and to me, it was outstanding considering the generation he was from.
Another example of this is two young ladies that I know have been helped by him, one black, one white. The black girl is still on the streets, but she, whenever she would see me at a gas station, would ask, how's my daddy doing? She knew that we knew each other, and knew that he would get angry with her whenever he would try to help her, but she would relapse. I was told that when one of her kids passed away, Charlie took care of the arrangements, and she told me of the numerous things that he had done for her. I made sure that she knew of his passing. The other is a Caucasian female that many on this board knows. Charlie at one time was head over heels in love with her I believe LOL. I called her yesterday to tell her of his passing, and she was frantic. Her major concern was that who was going to take care of her affairs now. He actually took care of most of her expenses because she's not capable of doing it herself. He has all of her paperwork and she asked me, who's going to take care of me now? Some that didn't know him probably thought that he got over, but with both ladies, he did it from the goodness of his soul. Yup, BC, a hell of a man.

I can't help but wonder as of late that he really knew this was coming. I have been spending alot of time in Memphis for poo ughthe past year. Charlie and I would see each other daily. Over the last 3 months he said to me on many occasions. He biggest concern was he would never see Kelly again. He loved her so much. I would always say "shut up old man you ain't goin no where" he'd just laugh. He was not himself for the couple of months no energy no, tired and just worn out. We use to go to Wal-Mart and walk around so he could check out the girls LOL. The last time we went he had to sit down at the door and wait for me.
We had these long philosophical discussions on life, the hobby, women in general, polotics, So many people seen him as rough and coarse. He really deep down was such a kind and caring individual always wanting his friends be it they men or women to be happy. He cried and hugged me several times recently telling me how much he loved me and how important our friendship had been. When I was visiting him at the hospital he would keep telling me he'd be home in a couple of days. I just kept waiting for his call that he was out.
The night before they moved him to hospice we had a long conversation. I think he knew there was trouble. I just listened and talked like normal and just said to keep his faith and be positive and we would be out running around before he new it. I keep thanking the lord I went that night. A good friend of mine told me to go. She knows who she is. The next morning when he was in hospice he was totally out of it when Mike and I were there.
I will never ever forget our last night, our last conversation, I cry every day. I miss him so much. I went to Wendy's on Poplar for lunch the other day and the cashier asked me where my dad was LOL. Wow. I miss him I don't think I will ever get over losing hin. I just hope I learn to live with it.
And then I sit here and read all of these posts. He was much more to so many than just a hobbyist or aquaintence. He was a great friend. The type of friend we should all be to one another. I love my friend Charlie and I am a better man today for knowing him. God rest his soul.

After hanging up with her it wasn't 5 minutes and my phone rang and it was BC checking me out for her. We immediately hit it off and talked weekly for the 2. 5 years that I worked in Memphis. He helped me meet several of the local girls and always had something new for me to try out and let him know how it went. But Kelly was and still is my all time favorite. I know he loved that girl and her son. He spent a lot of time watching after him while she was taking care of things. The first time I met him in person he was waiting on her in the parking lot of my hotel to baby sit little man while she and I dated. He even made sure she had condoms before he left. He was one of a kind, had a huge heart, and always had a smile and word of advice. I wish I could have talked to him one last time. Take care my friend. Till we meet again.

Rich.It hurts deeply every time I read comments about our good friend. I called him while he was in the hospital. Just wanted to see how he was doing. I left a message that I would get back with him later. I was going to tell him that I had made contact with Kellye and tell him how much she missed him and that she loved him. He was so kind to her and her son. It's a tough thing to deal with. BC was the glue that kept all of us shitheads on the right track. He is sorely missed.

Yes Licker, when he posted his farewell post a month and a half ago I was hoping he was overstating the situation. I only talked to him one time over the phone and only PM him a couple times, But he was great help whenever I needed help on a visit to Memphis for a weekend getaway play.

I've been out of Memphis for a while but stay in touch with friends and they told me about BC. He and I never met or talked but I knew enough of him through others that he was an explorer and a searcher. He played hard and flew large and I know for a fact he helped a bunch of brothers and sisters out there in our land. He will be missed. I admire those that can back up a boast and BC was such a cat. Well, this week just got worse. I was just informed today that Jessica was found dead of an overdose. While I can say I'm not surprised at all, it still doesn't change the fact that it hurts. Me and Jessica had a legit friendship, we would hang out and talk all the time. If you ever knew her, you would know she was extremely smart, and could be a sweet, caring and endearing person. But she had an extreme darkside which ultimately was her undoing. I wish we wouldn't met under these circumstances, but you will be missed.
