I had a pocket full of cash and some time so I went decided to visit Desire. Single most boring trip to a strip club ever...I wonder if there's a big difference there between day and night shift. I've only been during the day and it's usually pretty good. Some dancers do have a tendency to not approach you or stay with their regulars though. Still my favorite club in Providence currently. There's a super hot dancer named Peyton that I always look for, haven't seen her the last few trips though.
And that's a good thing.
If you want to talk to a girl, you go talk to them. In fact, if they're walking around, and you just stare at them and smile, most will come up to you. If they are on stage, tip them and ask them to come see you, and they usually will, and definitely will if you say you want a private dance. That's how they make their money.
If you told that beautiful girl that you just got there, but you'd probably want a private dance in an hour or two, I guarantee she'd come back.
Sometimes, the girls are just looking for regulars or guys that they know that spend money, and they will spend time with those guys. I talked to one girl who was a the bar for an hour with a guy, and she says the guy pays her $400 just to sit at the bar with him for the hour and give him undivided attention. Lots of the girls have guys that give them money to spend time with them, not just to strip.

I HATE clubs where I get hassled every 2 minutes by girls that are aren't my type, so I like it better. But some guys don't want to have to approach the girls. I get it.
Evenings are hit or miss, especially this time of year. During the spring and summer the place is wall to wall girls. Lots of "regulars" go during the days and the girls are sometimes better looking and more available. Of course, if you have a job it's not as easy hit a club during the day. All I can say is that there's a lot of fun to be had under the right circumstances.

I've heard similar stories with similar numbers and we've all seen the girls sitting with some old dude for the entire afternoon or evening. If the girl isn't getting paid to sit there, they are not going pass up other opportunities to make money just to sit there.

I once asked a dancer for a lap dance and she said she was busy for the next two hours. Seems weird to me but who am I to tell other guys how to spend their money?
Even prices in the VIP room can be all over the map. I had one dancer quote me three times what a couple other dancers have charged me for similar experiences.

First stop was Desire. Club was somewhat full, menu was a mixed bag. A few good looking, some in between and a few that would fit in better at Zebra or Lamplighter. The most appealing for me was a Dominican with breast and butt implants. But she asked was ambiguous about what would happen in the room and only said would have a good time. My monger instinct told me to not to do it.
Next I checked out Wild Zebra. Pretty slow. Only one girl who was my type and she was locked dowm with another dude. I noticed a skinnu black girl on the stage with great energy. She showed good appreciation for tips and is probably a good time in the VIP.
Last was Wonderland. I haven't been here in years, but as I recall they were delusionally trying to make it an ultra high end ballers club, flying girls in from Miami, etc. I think they've backed off that, but they still had the best selection. Many very beautiful women. Now I never had any dances here and decided I'd give it a shot. I found a sexy barbie blonde and took her to the back.
You can get 4 songs for 80 topless oe for 120 nude. Not sure what the difference really is since no one cared or chwcked on us. These dances take place in little rooms with curtains. It was awfully private and I asked my dancer if she wanted a tip for a HJ and she obliged.
Now I had previously thought this place was low contact with no services allowed. If they've loosened up that's good news. The four song price is cpmpetitive with CD. There were a bunch of other dancers I'd be interested in if extra services are available.

I have only been in WZ a few times and was disappointed by the quality of the talent. Not sure why anybody was going there the last few years to begin with, so I won't be missing them, but I get your point.

- It's $300 to join for a quarter, but I'm not sure if that's 3 months, or Jan 1- March 30, and if you join now, you lost half of it.
- you can join for a day for $100.
- girls can't go up there unless they're with a customer.
- the rooms have bigger couches and they're more private.
- VIP rooms cost the same as downstairs.
- they supposedly have a great food menu.
Is it worth it? If the privacy is that valuable to you.

I did the lust membership for a year a few years ago when I was working in Rhode Island. Well worth it if you are going weekly. I didn't need the TV in the room, but it is a much bigger space with a couch, much less crowded bar with a beautiful bartender, and you can rescue your girl of choice from roaming around the downstairs.
Especially so if now the only club with the privacy.

Clicked the article and saw the photo of the building. Man, does that building bring back memories. I sure do miss those wild times. Just a vast menu in terms of women at the place. I remember years ago belonging to a Yahoo Group called Providence Strip Clubs or something like that. I was fairly new to the club scene having just popped my booth cherry. Found that group and joined. I remember asking the group if everyo dancer at Cheaters provided in the booth. Unbeknownst to me, Tasha belonged to the group. She replied that extras are frowned upon and just a few of the trashy girls do it but shouldn't be. Then I get an email from her scolding me on how I shouldn't be fooling around in the booths because it's dirty and brings a bad name to dancers and blah blah blah.
So a couple of days later, I hit up Cheaters. I hear the DJ announce that Tasha is coming up on the stage. I think, "Oh so that's Tasha. " I hit up the stage, tip her 20, tell her to come see me. She comes to the table. We chit chat. We agree to a booth. Five minutes later my banana is down her throat. And after that I have her bent over the couch pounding away. She turns around and I unload on her tits.
As soon as I got home I replied to her email with the header, "Hey, I just fucked you. " Let her know who I was and what we did and how she must've changed her mind on her "extras are frowned upon" stance. I never heard back from her. And the next time I saw her in the club she wouldn't even look at me. Hahaha.
Anyway, yeah, damn shame about the club.

Concerts have been cancelled by the promoters.
Governments have imposed limits like nothing over x amount of people can be allowed to be in the same venue. NY went with 500 and that impacted Broadway since the theaters hold more than that.
But I suppose they could do a show with like 450 people attending and get away with it.

The Zebra won their day in court to shut down an injunction of their license cancellation. More of a technicality based on grounds they didn't have a clear path to defend their process. Approval has been given for the club to reopen. Management just has to decide when to schedule the reopening date, per posts on SCL.
