Thankfully negative both times. Tell them you have no insurance and pay out of pocket for an exam and urinalysis. Or if you're brave put it on your insurance, but make sure you are the one to get the bill or letter of services rendered from the insurance company.

Costwise, works out to about $120 for 32 shots, say $4 a dose. Damn near cheaper than mail order Viagra and a hell of a lot more effective. The old boy was hard for almost 2 hours. 10 minutes or so after the shot, doc said to "stimulate" myself. I asked him if his receptionist could give me a hand, so to speak. He laughed and said no. It was alright though, cranked it up right there in his office.

Thought I'd add to previous post from Cheech. I've been using the same product for about 5-6 years now. Similar cost different dose with about the same results. Biggest thing to be mindful of is to alternate the injection site, left to right but also over the length because you can build up scar tissue if you don't.

Thanks to some bladder and prostate issues, I am frequent flyer points with my real, legit, urologist. I asked him about the men's clinics you see advertised on sports shows. He said it's all hype and none of the treatments have been proven to be effective. He even said one place has a reputation for hiring attractive young women to give the patients enough eye candy that they see "some results" without the treatment working.

He advised me to watch for two things. First, they will refer to "Dr. Smith's research" but without a first name or a year it is virtually impossible to track down which study it was. He also said that because the treatments aren't FDA certified, insurance won't pay for much. It will cover MRIs, etc. To determine if there is a problem, but the actual treatment is on you.

Probably time of a C-Pap, which I don't want to do either. They already told me about the implant (Inspire) and insurance covers all but about 2 K. I'm fortunate to have excellent insurance. The diabetes is better controlled now. This has helped a lot.

For the other guys, how healthy are you overall and when did you first get these issues?Started about 18 months ago. I am now 60. Always been in good shape. Played sports my entire life. Retired from all that a couple years ag. My body was tired. Diabetes was the biggest factor. So I made the choice of cookies or a boner. I chose the boner! I was never wildly out of wack with the A1 C, etc. Lately the magic blue pill has again been effective. The injections continue to work. I cut out the sugar and walk / run a couple miles a day.

My advice is to stay active. It's all about blood flow. Get the blood flowing!
