I got in contact with a provider today as she is usually close to where I live. She told me she was somewhere else that I have never seen her advertise so I was a little suspicious. I asked for a confirmation pic and she said ok but I never got it. I go to the location as she kept saying ok to the confirmation pic and she says the fire alarm just went off and they are cleaning her room. Again I asked for a confirmation pic and only got a room number. She said she couldn't believe I was still asking for a confirmation pic even after I got the room number. Was I over thinking a possible bad situation?

Better safe than sorry. Trust your gut. I would guess she didn't look like whatever pics you originally saw, was hoping to get you in the door and "committed. " It could have been something more dangerous, but in that case I would think they would have tried a bit harder to get you in the door (additional pics).
