And I'm not an inexperienced guy, been at this hobby off and on for more than 20 years. In general it seems like with the crackdown on Backpage (now that no one can post a real "ad" anymore), and Craigslist recently having very few w4 m posts (almost all of them getting removed very quickly), there are few legit offers in both places, and a lot more people running scams. Now, of course, CL is gone, CV is gone, BP is fairly useless, so the scammers are branching out to the few remaining advertising venues.
I haven't hobbied in 5 or 6 months, and may not go back to it. Too much work, too much risk (physically, financially, STD-wise), for generally a lackluster experience.

When it asks for the dates of the stay I always put in the same day. It then generates the day use rate. The only drawback is that the elevators don't work without a room key. I've even told their desk people, just can the points system and lower their rates if they want loyal customers.

Ok. Well someone just PM'ed me explaining the deal at LUV. So if you were into The Art then you should move over to LUV. I am not into this stuff as it is truly an "Anything Goes" between consenting adults but this individual explained to me this is a 'scene' that started at The Art but since that place is gone people are now setting up 'events' at LUV? He did tell me if I am not familiar with 'the scene' he understands why I ran out of there. All I can say is there were a few uh. Maybe they were dressed like women? In the lot that asked me about what was happening in the back and I just said "I have no idea man I'm not into this stuff" and they laughed and said 'no big deal have a nice night". Your term "Playtime" was used with me when I was leaving when a decent looking fun girl (tons of tatts and piercings incredibly friendly / outgoing) asked if I was interested in playing. Given the amount of testosterone flowing right out in the open for the world to see I declined and left. If anyone else would like to elaborate what 'the scene' is, please do. She told me that they had to temporarily close the back room due to an issue with the fire marshal. That has since been resolved but I was told the ladies / strippers have since moved on.

Fingers crossed. .I saw the GoFundMe that Ernie posted. The repairs to that building needed to be done years ago, hopefully they'll be deemed safe by the powers that be in Hartford and they get the go to re-open ahead of schedule. And I also hope they have used all this free time to fumigate the chairs and replace the carpeting.
