The cops by Sherman way trip a lot more then by Roscoe so I don't make it that way unless I have to anymore but I never heard anything about it. I know about 12:30 am this morning they had two.

Plain clothed vice officers hoping out of the be&W charger harassing girls but it was all clear by 3 am.

I did spent about two hours cruising The Valley last night and it was dead. Vineland, Lankershim, Sherman Way, Van Nuys Blvd, Sepulveda, then Sherman Way to Tampa, Parthenia to Reseda, back down to Sherman Way and a couple laps up and down Sepulveda got me nothing.

This was about midnight to 2 AM. No police at all for most of it, but coming down Sepulveda once I hit the Western Bagel, it was on. Three cop cars at the bagel shop, two more cruising around Sherman Way, and two more further south. The only girls I saw were two brunettes at the Arco station at Saticoy. I did see a cute blonde north of Sherman Way around 2:00, very dressed down and possibly walking home from the strip club. I angled for a pick-up when she walked down a side street, but she didn't even look at me so I moved on.

I stopped to give a homeless woman some empty bottles. She was by the McDonald's where the car wash is at Lassen. She looked like she might clean up okay and was friendly, but I shook it off. I'm not quite that desperate yet, but it's getting pretty bad out there.

It's not illegal on a national level. That's why it is legal in some areas such as certain counties in Nevada. It *IS* illegal at our CA state level. Of course our state will probably keep it illegal for a long time as the state and the country is still very puritan religious right based. But the big melting pot shines through very much here in L. Friday night was mostly dead. There were a couple of LARGE BSW just south of Sherman. Thankfully, Angel was on Valero for a short period of time between 1 am and 3 am. Saturday was interesting. There was an accident involving a pedistrian just South of Sherman Way on SB that had 50 to 100 yards of SB completely blocked off. This is why I always drive a good distance when picking up a SW. I typically drive 10 blocks minimum or 1 mile or more especially in a situation like this. It is also a good idea to drive on empty streets. This makes it much easier to tell if you are being tailed or not. It is also a good idea to find a area where you can only enter from one direction. This way there is less traffic. I also try and find a dead end street. This makes it easier to see if the cops are sneeking up on you. Years ago there was some trucks that would follow me. At first I thought it was a nut, but later on I came to realize it was LE.
