Six people were in custody today and charged with pimping and operating 10 brothels staffed by Chinese prostitutes.
Law enforcement officials said the ring was broken up after a three-year investigation by local and federal agencies in the largest such investigation in Orange County. The ring, which police suspect may have included 30 brothels, also allegedly operated in Los Angeles and Riverside counties.

The brothels, operated by five Chinese nationals and an American, were advertised as acupuncture centers and massage parlors, but sex was the only service offered, Orange County Dist. Atty. Tony Rackauckas said at a news conference today.
In an apparent effort to economize, customers were asked to use plastic food wrap instead of condoms. Jian Shi, a 49-year-old Montebello resident and ringleader, purchased 7,500 square feet of plastic wrap over a two-month period, said Rackauckas.
"I really don't think about [plastic food wrap] in the same way anymore," the district attorney said.
Anaheim police Capt. Joe Reiss said 15 of the massage parlors and acupuncture centers allegedly run by Shi were in that city and 16 were elsewhere in Orange, Riverside and Los Angeles counties.
William J. Hayes, an investigator with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said the prostitutes were willing participants. Federal officials are checking the immigration status of those involved, who authorities said are ethnic Chinese. Ten women who are Chinese citizens have been charged with misdemeanor counts of prostitution, authorities said.
The others arrested were Hong Jun Bai, 42, of Rowland Heights; Guo Hua Chen, 56, Monterey Park; and Xueyan Yu, 49, Huntington Beach. Also arrested were John Couch, 46, and his wife, Yu Mei Cheng-Couch, 38, of San Clemente. The Couches allegedly operated a brothel in Dana Point.

I have heard they are moving away from the retail establishment and back to the residential houses which they have used for years, keeping the girls there to avoid detection from LE.

Went to 3 amp's and got lucky at one. Avoid the ones on Sunland Blvd and Van Nuys Blvd, totally legit and you will not get any extras. LE closed the AMPS.
Amp owners responded by going underground, "hiring" much much younger chicas, adding certain extras to the menu, this increased there bottom line as now they make money on the backside of the party favors, they found upscale clientele they do quality not quantity.
In the end LE got what they wanted out of sight out of mind.
Only "problem" is organized crime is making millions somewhere maybe next door to you?

1) No one is helping the pigs waste taxpayer money.

As you may think I'm a "newbie" having so few posts. I've been mongering in SFV since the late 90's. Just recently saw this site and read reports for sometime before posting one myself.
I learned quickly about PM'S and not reporting anything detailed in these threads. (common sense).
Was just a bit irritated with a senior whom I've shared more than one spot with. (one being my top spot before I found mini TJ). So, you can understand why I was frustrated when he wouldn't give me any intel on a spot he posted about.
However, I appreciate your opinions and I take everthing in stride. Don't want to make any enemies here, just wanted to be part of this underground mongering society. U.M.G. (gonna try to form a union).
Aslo, not sure if anyone cares to meet others from this site, but I thought it would be fun to rent a bus/van and take a trip to Mexico's red light district. I didn't ask questions much, usually I could glean the info I needed from posts, but in the end I just started posting useful information, while being somewhat oblique. I hit popular places, made reports on girls others hadn't tried, interjected myself into a few conversations, and while I don't have a high post count, if I ask someone for some info (which I rarely do unless I am positive I want to indulge) chances are I'll get it.
I wasn't frustrated, or upset, I know this is how it goes. This is about LE and trust. You see people coming in with less than 5 posts asking for numbers and hook ups and you have to wonder.
I'm more than willing to share what info I have, as you can see elsewhere in the forum.

But you, and other new people, have to understand that things are a lot different today than they were a few years ago on this board. Back then hardly anybody know about this site and we felt kind of safe posting and sharing info with others. Then everything changed and we saw it time and time again, someone would post about a place and in no time at all it was closed. We just can't do that anymore. We have to play it safe now.

Vlad, I have been in this hobby for a long time as well, a little longer than 20 years in SFV. I've seen a lot of things go down. I had also gotten in trouble once from street action. Since then, I turned to safer spots. I'd hate to see those places go down like you do.
However, as Jackson put it, I'm sure LAPD or PD in any city for that matter knows much more than you or anyone else about these places. If you are talking about businesses that have massage/chiro/accupressure licenses, they need to go through police or health department commission. So the PD has the info in their hands before anyone even finds them. They do make routine trips to check them out after the opening.
And there are few reasons why the heat comes down to these places, as most of you probably know already; neighbor complaints, calls from disgruntled former employees and customers who don't get what they want... trust me, some of asshole do file complaints to PD..., and immigration issues (FED problem). Like the one that took place in SF, LA, and NY. It actually started in NY before coming to Cal.
One of the girls I knew who worked at this huge establishment in NY, that had been a landmark there for a long time, told me one day the FED's came in and literally took everyone including customers. And some media were there taking pictures of the bust. I'm sure FED's or NYPD tipped them in advance to publicize the great work they were doing to get rid of human trafficking sex slaves, which is hilarious. The girl I knew said all of her co-workers came in on their own. She even had a green card.
In my opinion, none of those causes is a direct result of reports on this or any other board. Increased traffic from other forum members who read about a particular place and decide to pay a visit is one that I think may contribute to that a little. But then, the whole purpose of the forum is to share the goods, I thought.
Since I speak the same language, I've talked to and known many AMP owners/managers/girls. Before they open a place they decide whether to go for long term or cash out quickly. So they know what they are getting into. If they decide to go for a short term hit-and-get out plan, they offer FS while long term strategy is to offer HJ or BJ only. The aggressive short term investers are not too concerned about postings on boards. I don't want to blabber on too long about this. It's basically up to individuals. I can't or won't tell anyone to share info on any place since I haven't been able to do so myself. I haven't had anything worthwhile to post or share unfortunately. Most if not all the places I know have been covered on several boards already before I found them and the only places I can share requires speaking korean. However, I firmly believe that posting on this board doesn't bring down good places by themselves.

I just had to tell you guys this. I play in a weekly poker game in woodland hills. Last night we got 2 new guys in our game. Sounds like your poker pals are just regular guys doing a job. If vice is watching this board, then they've know who you are. That part could be unfortunate, just because they might not be so willing to talk shop with you.
I'd say, some of the things that are more interesting to know, is what causes them to focus in on one particular area of prostitution, ie whether it be a massage parlor, street walkers, escort agencies, independant girls advertising on any number of places, newpapers, craigslist, or escort malls.
Just my opinion, I firmly believe LAPD is like any other very large organization. So, if leadership says to focus on massage parlors, there isn't anything anyone can do to prevent a bust on a massage parlor, except to temporarily close the business until LAPD leadership has decided to focus on some other area of prostitution. I believe this is why it is not unusual for all massage parlors in a given city/area get busted all in the same day.

My two cents on the issue:
I figure LE knows about all of the AMPs and only goes after them if they become an appealing target.
How do they become an appealing target? Business I would imagine. If they get too busy, and you get complaints about parking spaces and such as referenced earlier, or you have people double-parking and acting like idiots to run in and get some trim, that creates a "problem". The more the information gets around, the faster the business will hit that critical point where it becomes lucrative enough for LE to bust the place.
I understand both sides of the argument. Mayhaps it's best to not share the "Mongering Guide for Dummies" level of information, because there are lurkers here that will help push things along to where LE will take notice. Maybe a bit of information isn't such a horrible thing, as it lets folks who truly are devoted think and read between the lines and figure it out for themselves. That way, people who have some self-awareness about them get the info, while it may fly over the heads of idiots who would foul things up.

Hi Mike,
Actually I prefer the term micro brothel which started up in Vancouver and spread to Seattle, but throughout California and much of the rest of the country they are referred to as an AAMP (Asian Apartment MP), or depending upon the ethnicity as KAMP or CAMP (these are often used generally here for both storefront and apartment establishments). Unfortunately most of these in the SFV have been closed down by LE the past few years. Occasionally new AAMPs are advertised on CL with an all inclusive price and typically the phone contact will have at least basic English skills.
Those AMPs on CL that advertise the base hourly price and say No Full Service are a WOT and WO$. Lots of action still in Oxnard so check that board out. The San Gabriel Valley also has some good options but it is way too far for me and I have no intel. In addition to CL check out the LA Weekly ads also. Some of the CL chicks will advertise that they have TER reviews specifically.
A good bet is to try some places, post some general reviews and trade intel via PM.

Actually, Vlad has shared some pretty good intel with me, and I hooked him up with my Oxnard/Ventura Black Book in return. I understand where he's coming from, and I think he meant that the guy that picked up the LA XPress was lucky, as opposed to the LAMP report.
Someone just starting out and picking up LAXP I would qualify as lucky for not getting scammed or screwed (and not in the happy way).

Don't post much and usually stick to Ventura County but I was just at that place last week. They usually let you pick from whoever is working.
That place is just plain GROSS! The girl gave a lousy massage and then was playing games about extras even though I'd seen her once before. Check out the Oxnard board and make the 45 minute drive until you get your feet under you. You practically need a divining rod to find a provider in the valley these days.

Oh I'm sure sooner or later something will happen. Either cameras will be put in (XPosed) or someone somewhere will get busted (KH8) and at least for a while the good times will not be so good. It's a safe thing to go after, and it makes the cops look like they're being tough on crime.
The problem is that by making it outlawed, they can't regulate it, which opens the activity up to even more crime through trafficking, robs, and whatnot. If you regulated (and taxed, more income) the industry, you could cull down on all the nasty stuff that goes on when the cops aren't around, and generate some more money too. Too bad we live in such a puritanical country though. I mean, we won't even tell kids what condoms are for, and how they're used, because that might encourage them to get it on.

I'm sorry to hear the frustration man. I know I haven't had exactly the biggest report poster, I have far too many hobbies to make this a regular thing, but a couple years ago you took a bit of a chance on me and trusted me, and I really appreciate it. Same with Vlad. He gets some shit for his aggressive attitude, but really his intel is golden, and if you have something to even try to share back, he's a good man.
To the folks complaining, it's not impossible to get the rare, juicy intel. You may have to drive a bit to hit the "sure places" (like in the 'Nard) and build up your rep, and you'll probably have to contribute a bit here and there even in normal discussions, and you have to learn to either trade, or only ask for freebies occasionally when you're particularly interested. Wandering around the world in general with your hand out saying "gimmie" won't get you far. Coming in and reading the proper method of conduct, figuring out how to be subtle about what you're doing, and balancing thinking with your dick versus thinking with your brain will get you a long, long way here.

In anticipation of the hellfire Vlad is about to get, I've gotten some of the best, hottest, and indeed cheapest tail I've ever gotten in this hobby, courtesy of Vlad's intel.
Truth of the matter is that there are two types of AMP neighborhoods. There are the ones that operate as an open secret, like Oxnard, and then there are high heat areas like SFV. I'll say that the talent I've had in SFV is fantastic, compared to places like the 'nard.
It does seem like OCA wants to sink amps to spite Vlad, but really, all it takes is one idiot who doesn't know how to behave to ruin it for everyone else. The more open the intel, the higher the odds that this will happen.
I understand this board is nothing without the sharing of intel, but I also realize that's how the AMPs get shut down.
Everyone needs to chill out. Like him or hate him, Vlad's got info most people only wish they had. His request, to keep the info on the down low, and not broadcast it, is not so horrible a request.

Tried a 2 girl same place but again looks were lacking and I'm a visual guy so need a bit more than just a HJ second time around.
Found many more in sfv and have had some "ok" experiences, two FS even, but still looking for a 9+ FS someday. It's been around forever and ain't going away because of the "moral right" in this country who secretly do it too (ie NY governor). The feds/state should at least regulate it and make some cash. The fuckin' pigs pulled me over once as I was leaving my favorite MP. Apparently they had the place under surveilance. I don't want to disclose too many details but let's just say I got lucky. These pieces of shit could have taken me to jail if they had wanted to, not sure why they let me go. They could have made up some BS just to take me to jail. What a waste of tax payer's money, people get shot and killed in the valley just about every weekend and these mother fuckers (cops) have nothing better to do than have an MP under surveilance and arrest consenting adults, only in America (sorry Don King).

During a rather sensational adventure of mine back at Mias, during the summer of 2002, I had a near miss w/LE...
I believe I have posted about this a long time ago, on another thread, regarding something of a similar nature.
Long story short my K girl Michelle was tied up (literally) and I was buck naked w/a g-26 in my Dr bag of tricks. I had it for my personal safety. That intersection on Parthenia just west of Noble where Mias once was, now its still an iglesia of christ I believe, was rough. Not the worst spot in the valley but at night or when your are high on yayo and a white guy it is not a great spot to loiter alone.
Enough said, I usually pack a heater everywhere I roam. Especially, in the northeast valley. That being said, I should have known better and left it in the ride. Yet, that summer my cravings for asian tang combined w/my drug habit were getting the best of me. I was a bit paranoid. And very wierd. Thankfully, Mia and later Tina, who is a friend, were cool w/me. Tina liked to get high too. So did some of her girls at Topanga therapy. Good times... I digress. Sadly, Mia had already been arrested during the spring time. And now Tina was basically running MT by herself.
All of a sudden I hear screams, my girl tries to get up, and Tina tellls us Police now!!! Oh s**t, I am fucked for sure. OMG it was a false alarm. One of the new girls was watching the 4 way camera monitor and thought LE had pulled up out front on Parthenia. Well of course the mood was destroyed. I wanted to bail. Tina gave me 2 bottles of water and told me to come back tomorrow to get 30min for free. Of course, I did w/Michelle, we finished our play time together. Plus, I returned w/a new dress for her from Ardvark's thrift store. During the drama of the almost bust I ripped off her dress it was in the way of the restraints. LOL. She was thrilled and Tina laughed.
Please, remember this our favorite hobby is highly illegal. It is extemely scrutinized everywhere in LA county. Especially, the SFV. Where I live and play. We must adjust and fight LE w/their own cunning tactics. Things like PMing vital intel to trusted members only. Not giving away everything in detail about fixed location amps. Obviously, sw's on SB are different. Post everything about that fun. I certainly do. Be smarter than the man. Do not mine gold for these bastards. Mias and Topanga wouldn't last a week open given the current LE action in the valley and way too many 'lose lips'. I'm surprised Topanga stayed open for almost a year (guessing), Mias stayed open for a while also. I know Mias fought hard to stay in business. They tried but these fuckin' pigs had nothing better to do than keep the place under surveilance and closed it down for good.
The business has to evolve, the MP business model in the valley does not work anymore, sure there are a couple of places here and there but it is not the same. I was not a dick to them, I played it cool, knowing how corrupted cops (pigs) are, all they had to do is make up some BS and take me to jail. These pieces of shit ruined my game, once you experience what I had to go through, things are not the same ever again, yes, I still visit MPs, but not quite as much as I used to.
The MP I was leaving from that day was closed a few days later. That was the last 'half decent MP' left in the valley in my opinion.

I'm actually curious about what laws are being violated by the customer. I have read that AMPs can be cited for even inappropriate attire, but what are the "johns" being charged with. If the LE do not have video/audio of the act of offering money for sex, where is the crime. Even if you get caught in the act, is it illegal to have sex with a woman in a private business? If so, it can't be prostitution cause there is no proof of money exchanging right? I'm still confused on all the legal aspects of it.
I honestly think that FS establishments need to go the HJ way. In a HJ only place, you pay for massage and never (or at least shouldn't) discuss anything sexual. The HJ just happens at some point. 1st post, but been reading the boards now and then. Haven't been in the MP scene but curiosity is tempting me to check it out for my self. From what I've read so far from past posts. That MP's are dying or dead all round The Valley. Well I've done some CL ads and had good experiences but I find it pretty risky to continue meeting up some of them CL chicks after I've heard stories of people gettin jacked. Ripped off and so on. I think part of what is at play here, the police are only responsible for collecting evidence. The collect what they can, arrest you, hope that you make a statement. Then they turn it over to the presecution.
The prosecution is responsible for turning that evidence into proof of a crime. If they don't have enough or good enough evidence they could either drop it all together or try to get you to take a plea.
In the case of prostitution laws, the prosecution can size you up pretty easily. Not too many guys want prostitution charge, not too many guys are going to fight the charges if a plea is offered.

Long time lurker. I found this site while investigating a prostitution case I ended up doing a trial on. I've been lurking ever since. I think these prostitution laws are absurd, I represent people who are the worst of the worst (murders, rapes, robberies, shootings, etc), so when I see the amount of resources expended on these bullshit cases, it really pisses me off as a citizen. And if you want to talk about the expending of resources, I'll give you an example. In your typical day in WLA, the LAPD have, for the whole WLA station (that goes from Pacific Palisades down to Brentwood, east to LaCienega, south to Culver City, and north to Mullholland) a total of 1-2 cars for regular patrol. This means that if you have someone who robs you in your home and runs away, and you call 911, you have one, maybe 2 cars for that whole area protecting you. Mind you, they have plenty of traffic officers (lots of revenue there), vice (gotta love the stats), narcotics (more statistics), and gang (real, actual societal concerns, but generally going about it the wrong way) officers, but who knows if they're working at that time, and they don't have to respond to radio calls if they don't want to (and believe me, this is why they choose those units, so they don't have to respond to as many radio calls).
On a recent trial I did, they had about 20-25 police officers involved in a sting on Figueroa for 12 hours. You got that? They had 10 times as many officers on one Figueroa sting as they have patrolling all of West Los Angeles! That's outrageous.
Now, I've done some explanation of the crimes you could be popped for on the Fig Street walker section, but the MP are a totally different gig. You are far safer in that area. First of all, you don't face an arrest for 653. 22 (loitering with the intent to commit an act of prostitution). This is a "crime" where you do innocuous acts (ie. No actual acts of prostitution), but a cop "opines" that you were doing these acts with an intent to do an act of prostitution. Absurd, I know, but juries tend to give a lot of credence to this bullshit police officer "opinion" testimony.
Then there's the actual act of prostitution, or soliciting an act (which is how they usually get johns). The key here is to make sure that the person you're dealing with is not a cop. The best way to do that in the street is to get the girl in your car, or at least cop a good feel (cops won't typically get in your car or let you cop a feel). In a MP, the best bet is to get the girl somewhat naked, or at least get some feels on her so that you know she's not a cop. Don't discuss any money right off. Don't do it until she's massaged you quite a bit, and done things that cops would not do.
I would avoid all talk of money for sex. One suggestion I heard someone talk about in court was taking some money out of your wallet and leaving it partially viewable, so that you can say "I like to leave nice tips for great massages. " But, unless you're sure that girl is not a cop (by feeling her up or having her rub you down well), don't ever make arrangements.
If you can, try to do the negotiating without speaking, in case she's miked (although, in all of my years of doing this, I can't remember a case where they miked an actual provider in a sting. Only cops). I can't imagine they've video'd it. You'd have a great invasion of privacy issue if you didn't actually do any act of prostitution and they video'd you getting a naked. Legal. Massage.
Remember, these MPs are not illegal. You're not breaking any law by being there. If you are stopped by the police, tell them that you were getting a massage for your [insert high scool sporting injury here]. Continue to insist that you do not pay for sex, or better yet, say "I was getting a massage, nothing illegal about that, " and then tell them you want a lawyer if they're accusing you of doing something wrong.
Just be aware, police lie, and they may make up a case against you regardless. From reading these boards, I'd have to say your best bet may be driving 2 hours south to TJ, and doing it legally there (just don't get shot in a drug cartel war)

I went to the AMP off Darby in Reseda on late Sunday. Not FS. I never tried for FS because the girls aren't my type but they provide a REALLY good professional massage along with a HJ. I have found two CAMPs in the Valley, that together I have tried five times in the last two months. I mistakenly posted reports in the Los Angeles forum before I discovered this separate forum for the Valley.
Both places advertise in CL, one of them in therapeutic services (let's call it VN1), the other in both therapeutic and occasionally erotic services (VN2). Both are in nondescript office buildings. I don't think either of them has ANY exterior sign.

I like to keep the majority of my trips closer to home, so spend more time in Simi. I have visited L&M, Evergreen, Pacific, WH, and the one by Taco Bell on LA (not sure what it's called). I have had some very good results from L&M and Evergreen, but very little more than a handshake from the last three.
Does anyone happen to have any info on the newer establishments? Pacific on Deodora, 779 LA Ave Massage (offers walk on back with a table shower), or the brand new JJ Spa on 1524 LA? Or, any other place I have missed. I really like a good hard massage (so a few skills are nice), plus a nice finish makes my day worthwhile.
Obviously, I can TOFTT, but if anyone has a more recent info to share, it would probably same me some time and energy?

I love all your new posts lately. This thread is becoming a lot more entertaining. Anyway, I finaly had the time to stop at the new place in Northridge (I posted previously a few weeks ago). I was right, it is a FS place, but the experience was not very good. I walked in, the place was small and there were only two ladys. One was an older aisan and the other was a cute but a little older (30s) and chubby latina. She seemed nervous and started with a lame massage. After 5 minutes I said to my self such a shitty place and lame massage lets just get start with the action. So I turned around set on the bed and started to pull her top off.
