We've heard the stories from the Ancient Ones about legit places of respite in the land of Reseda. I've never believed such nonsense. Alas, they were not lies. In the country north of the kingdom of Roscoe, there is a place, a place called Reseda Thai Massage. Tis a clean place, run by a petite, older proprietor. The room she led me to was clean as well, with a wide bed, adorned with freshly pressed sheets. So, after my Chik-Fil-A fix, I walked down to the place. Hadn't been there in awhlle, and last time was a fucking nightmare (old provider wouldn't let me off the table and tried to block the door, talking Chinese the whole time. Hope you're all staying safe out there. About a month back, I had a weird thing happen at Green Spa in Encino. I don't drive, so everything I do is on foot or uber / lyft. There is tons of so-called Nuru in the OC. Unfortunately, almost none of it is real nuru with the gel. It is all "body slide" type massage, with maybe some oil if you're lucky. I went on the first Saturday of the re-opening last weekend. From what I read from news articles, they were only allowed to offer a half hour as a condition of reopening, but they offered one hour. I normally do 1 hour for the extra 10 bucks, but took a half hour. When I went to lie down on the table, the little donut we put our face on didn't have any cover. I put several paper towels on it and kept my mask on. I went right when the opened. The fact that they're taking clients for an hour and didn't cover the donut, leads me to doubt they're following hygiene protocol.

Checked out Blue in Canoga Park. Parking is small for that area but there is parking in the back, even though there might be some sketchy people back there.
